When Lee came back into the room he was surprised to see she was still there, and that Naruto remembered her. "Kiko, why are you still here?" He asked and she walked over. "Oh, I was wondering if I could get a look at Gaara-kun."

Gaara walked in and almost dropped the three bags he was carrying. "Hey Naruto I got you a sandwich." The redhead said then tilted his head looking at Kiko. "Is he ok?" He asked thinking she was still there for something wrong. Naruto grinned and waved his hand at Gaara and the redhead sweat dropped and handed him the bag of food.

The woman blinked and glanced at Lee to make sure he was not upset before moving closer to Gaara. "Naruto is fine, but he wants me to make sure you are alright." She said and carefully took the bags from him, setting them on a table before gently tugging at his clothes a little. "May I remove this?" She asked. Lee blinked and seemed flustered yet upset about what she was doing and he raised his hand resting it over his mouth to keep from saying anything turning around. 'Just remember she does not like men, there is nothing wrong about her doing this. She is a volunteer nurse right now.. it is alright.. but.. Gaara-kun is so feminine like gah!' Lee's thoughts ranted on.

Gaara stiffened up a little and then thought for a moment looking at Lee. 'I really don't want Lee to see all the cuts and bruises he might get upset..but its better to get them checked so I don't have to come in here later if something gets infected.' He sighed then gave a small nod. "Hey, hey Bushy-brows I got a cookie!" Naruto said and waved it in front of his friend. "Yeah Naruto we all got one." Gaara replied rolling his eyes.

Lee didn't focus on Naruto, he kept looking away. He did not want anyone undressing his redhead besides him. Especially his ex girlfriend. Even though he knew she was nothing like that he still was worried, not looking was the best choice. Kiko could sense Lee was tense and slipped the shirt off of Gaara gasping at the cuts and bruises. "Did you not go to the hospital..?" She asked in a whisper wondering if Gaara was trying to hide it from Lee or not while she moved over getting some sanitary wipes.

Gaara shook his head and awkwardly folded his arms over his chest. "Don't have the money...and I don't like places like this." He whispered back. "Holy shit Gaara! You look like you went through a horror movie." Naruto said loudly and the redhead glared at him.

Lee blinked and turned around, "He what?" But Kiko was already on top of it and moved quickly, slipping her coat off and resting it over Gaara. "He means he looks tired," She said in a cheerful voice, yet she was glaring at Naruto. "Oh.." Lee blushed a little and looked back away from Gaara sighing. 'What is going on..?' He thought to himself.

"Wait huh what do you...oooh yeah sure." Naruto said with a sweat drop and playfully tossed a pen at Lee. "Come on dude sign my cast." He whined. Gaara winced a little feeling bad they were lying to Lee and closed his eyes.

"I am going to go get him something to help him, come on Gaara-kun.." Kiko said and dragged him out of the room before Lee grabbed the pin and walked over to Naruto to sign the cast and write on it. "You should not hide things from Lee-kun you know that, he really hates it.." She said and cleaned off his chest a little before covering his wounds in some ointment on his chest and wrapping it up nicely to keep the cut ok. They looked to be a few days old but it still looked pretty bad.

"I know...but he will get upset I just need to not change around him.." Gaara said then blinked and looked at her. 'Gaara-kun? She is pretty kind why was Lee acting so odd.' He thought feeling confused. "Thanks for helping me...the only person in my group that knows doctor stuff is Kakuzu." He muttered looking down at his chest and arms frowning. He really hopped that the cuts wouldn't leave scars.

"Kakuzu? You know Kakuzu?? As in Kakuzu the famous doctor?" Kiko asked excitedly and finished up wrapping his chest up before putting his shirt back on for him.

Gaara blinked then nodded. "Yeah he is one of my friends..he's famous?" The redhead asked sounding surprised.

"Well duh! To anyone that knows medicine and wants to be a doctor wants to learn from him!! He refuses to take in students though," The girl said then let out a small sigh. "I would be so happy if I got to learn and gain my degree from him.." Then she shook her head, "But who am I kidding.. that is silly.." She said slipping her jacket back on.

"Well...you have been so kind to me how about I ask for you." Gaara said and winced as he pulled his shirt back on then tried to fold his arms again. 'Oh this sucks I can't even do my habit.' He whined in his head then looked up at her. The day before he hadn't been in any pain thanks to the pain pills Konan had given him but now they were wearing off and he was starting to feel everything.

"Really? You would do that for me?! I would love that so much!!" The girl squealed out then thought and coughed calming back down. "S-Sorry.. I am still working on keeping myself calm.." She said rubbing her arm and looking at the floor.

Gaara laughed softly and waved his hand. "You can be yourself around me its fine, my best friend is Naruto for havens sakes." He said smirking slightly.

Kiko pushed her hair out from behind her ear and relaxed even more. "No.. I am supposed to be calm.. in high school they told me I could not be a doctor with how I acted.. so.. I am supposed to stay calm now.." She said and turned placing her hand on the door.

"Kakuzu acts like jerk whenever he wants I don't think you should let something someone said to you in high school determine who you are. I was told in high school I was useless but I don't that rule me." Gaara ranted a little and rubbed his sore shoulder.

"I suppose.." She murmured and walked into the room blinking to see Naruto having drawing on his cheeks and Lee's forehead. "Umm.. what the hell are you two doing?" Kiko asked. Lee sweat dropped. "He started it!" He yelled and pointed at Naruto laughing happily, more relaxed then he was before.

Gaara sweat dropped looking at them and raised a nonexistent eye brow. "I hope that's not a sharpie." He muttered and walked over to the chair and sat down. Naruto laughed and poked the older male next to him. "Lies! Bushy-Brows is to blame!" The blond yelled.

The blond girl giggled and pulled out a bright blue highlighter walking over and drawing a heart on both of their cheeks. "There, my boys are marked now," She said starting to howl in laughter. Lee blinked then couldn't help it and he chuckled as well, Kiko always had a habit of doing weird things if they acted up, but that was one of the weirdest.

"You guys scare me I think I am going to stay over here." Gaara said and carefully folded his arms over his chest again. Naruto laughed harder and sat up fully in the bed. "Oh my god I didn't think I could have fun in a hospital."

Kiko winked and put her hand on her hip, "Come on Handsome, you know I always give full service, especially when I am at work.." Then she started laughing again and Lee covered his mouth trying not to laugh. "You have not changed one bit! You still are making perverted jokes with Naruto!"

Gaara looked at them tilting his head a little. 'I feel a bit out of place.. they seem a lot closer then Lee let on.' He thought and moved his head to the side when Naruto throw a pen at him. "Come sign my cast already." The blond whined and Gaara shook his head. "Later Naruto not now.." The redhead replied.

Ordinarily Lee would have flipped out on Naruto hitting Gaara with a pen but he was distracted talking to Kiko. He could not help himself, it was natural to keep talking to an old friend once you got into it. After what seemed like forever Lee scribbled down their house number in his neat cursive on a paper and their address and told her to stop by tomorrow since a doctor was now calling her for assistance. Kiko said her goodbyes and left and Lee finally paid attention to his loved Gaara. Moving over he gently went to yank Gaara out of the chair, not thinking that he may still be hurt from Kimimaro's attack.

Gaara winced and flinched away from the touch. "Alright I'll get up." He muttered and stood up moving off the chair and sitting on the stool next to it. He wasn't in the bests of moods now feeling annoyed Lee had ignored him for so long. Naruto pouted staring at the clock wanting time to move faster. "Lee is it time to go home yet?" Naruto complained.

The jock frowned and flinched, 'Did I upset him..?' Then he bowed his head, "I was about to tell Gaara-kun that I want to take him back home now.. and that we can go.." He murmured out and rubbed his arm walking over to the bathroom in the hospital room to clean off his face, sighing heavily to himself.

Naruto moved the blankets off him and got off the bed. "I feel sore from being in bed so long!" Naruto whined and turned around looking around for his clothes. "Gee thanks for showing everyone your backside Naruto." Gaara commented and stood up walking over to cabinet and picked up the blonds clothes holding them out to him. "Oh shut up I swear they put those slits in the gowns just to embarrasses you." Naruto said and took the clothes starting to get dressed. "Backside? You normally say ass, you haven't really been cussing all that much lately." Naruto said tilting his head at his friend.

Lee walked out of the bathroom drying his face with the sleeve of his sweat shirt. "Is that not a good sign?" Lee asked and walked over smiling and leaning into Gaara going to peck him on the lips while saying, "Are you excited to go back home?"

Gaara blushed faintly and shrugged. "Yeah.." He replied and stepped around Lee to help Naruto get his jacket on. "Thanks redhead! Alright let's get the hell out of here." Naruto said grinning and walking over to the door. Gaara blinked and fallowed the blond to the door. "Where did Pain go?" He asked remembering the orange haired male.

"I do not know, all I know is he left last night with that Tsunade woman to pay the bill," Lee said and frowned a little following his boyfriend. He wanted to see Gaara smile and be happy about going back. Gaara had cried earlier when they made up, but now the redhead was acting as if it was nothing. 'I screwed up.. what the heck did I do..?' Lee thought to himself watching the redhead's back as he walked.

Naruto looped a arm around his best friends shoulders and grinned at him. "So who's driving?" He asked and the redhead glared at him. "That's not funny! I am not even trying today!" Gaara growled, he really hated cars.

"I suppose I will," Lee said and smiled as they walked passed Kiko waving to her before walking outside and to their car. Reaching down he slipped Naruto's keys from him. "We have to stop by the field I left all my stuff in the locker room," He said while moving over to unlock all the doors. Before Gaara could sit in the passenger seat though Lee slipped his jacket off and set it in the seat so Gaara would not have to sit on the dry blood. "Cleats are really uncomfortable when not playing a game," Lee said sweat dropping. When Pain had told him what happened before he didn't think about anything, he just panicked and wanted Pain to drive him to the hospital quickly.

"Hey then I can kick you in the shins till then." Naruto said lightly kicking Lee's leg then laughed and getting in the back seat. Gaara looked at the seat and felt flattered Lee had set his jacket down and got in the seat closing the door and putting his seat belt on. "It looks like someone was murdered in here.." He muttered and Naruto laughed again.

"Oi that hurt! Cleats as in my shoes Naruto!!" He yelled at the baseball player while getting in the car only to laugh to show he was joking.
