When he awoke a nurse was checking Naruto's arm and giving him a breakfast. "Mmn.." He glanced down at Gaara and smiled at the sleeping face before whispering to Naruto. "How are you feeling?"

"Like they just stuffed a needle in my hand." Naruto complained showing his hand then pouted at the nurse. "Can I go home already? This place is driving me crazy." He said and smiled seeing Gaara snuggled into Lee.

"You may go home at lunch Naruto, relax. You are always in and out of here, you need to be more careful," She said and checked his arm again before leaving. Lee chuckled under his breath, "Relax Naruto, you can leave this place with us at afternoon you heard her."

"Aww but that will take forever!! You get to spend all that time snuggling Gaara I just get to stare at the wall." Naruto whined then picked up his water taking a sip.

"That is not true. We will keep you company," The jock said to the blond. Grinning he shifted and reached his hand up brushing Gaara's red hair out of his face. "Hey Gaara-kun.. you have to wake up now.." He whispered into his lovers ear in a soothing voice.

Gaara mumbled and then moved a little on the older male. "Haha you will have to do better then that to wake him up." Naruto said and started poking at his food. "I could yell fire that used to always work when we were kids." The blond added and laughed.

"That is a mean way to wake him up," Lee stated and moved. He pressed his lips to Gaara's then said, "Gaara-kun, come on, get up." He said still in his loving voice trying to get the redhead up nicely.

Gaara's eyes opened half way and he blinked a few times before looking Lee. "Good morning.." He said blushing faintly. "Aww." Naruto said grinning.

Lee blushed a little. "Shut it Naruto-kun.." He murmured and smiled kissing Gaara again. "Good morning, How did you sleep?" He asked softly hugging Gaara even closer.

Gaara kissed back and hugged Lee around his neck. "Really well.." He replied softly and smiled a little. "Oh boy I hope the fish have been ok." Naruto mumbled and picked up a little packet of pepper. "Oh these are fun." He said tossing it and laughing when it landed on Lee's head.

Lee blinked and sat up straight still holding Gaara in his lap. "Oi, Naruto, why are you so hyper? Have they been giving you pain meds a little too strong or something?" Lee asked and rubbed his head. "And why do you have to be a left handed pitcher?" He asked whining a little playfully. Then he looked at Gaara, "Good.."

"Maaaybe..I have been awake for a hour. Dude! We so should go find the scariest movie ever made then watch it when we get back to the apartment." Naruto ranted and kept on talking making Gaara sweat drop. "Lee I think we should knock him out or something." Gaara said smirking then rested his head back on his boyfriends shoulder.

"I think he will pass out again before we can do that," Lee said jokingly and howled in laughter to himself before getting up holding Gaara then setting the redhead down so he could stretch.

"I think I just heard all your joints just pop." Gaara said reaching up to rub on Lee's shoulders. "What do you mean pass out? I think I got all my blood back to its normal level. Oh by the way Bushy-brows we are gonna have to wash the inside of the car...it looks like a murder scene." Naruto said and finished eating.

Lee's facial expression changed and he groaned. "Naruto.. I know you were bleeding and all.. but.. couldn't you have tried to keep it from getting in the car..? I just cleaned it all the way.." The male said and folded his arms frowning a little more. "I mean.. it is alright but.. gah.. blood stains are always so hard to get out of those seats, the poor car," He murmured.

Gaara sweat dropped and walked over to sit on the bed next to the blond. "Well at lest I didn't crash it." The redhead muttered and Naruto laughed. "You almost did." Naruto commented and Gaara glared at him. "I am not the best driver! At lest I got us here." Gaara replied and the blond gave him a one armed hug. "Aww relax I am just playing with you." Naruto said grinning.

"You almost crashed it? Gaara-kun you could have gotten hurt! Or the car!" Lee was like any other guy, he loved his car. But come on, him and Naruto worked hard to get the car and though it was not new it was nice and Lee always made sure it was perfectly clean and okay. Like everything else in his life. He then moved over and smiled, "This should be a Christmas card," He said laughing.

"What?" Naruto and Gaara said at the same time both getting confused. "What about a card now?" Naruto asked and sat up more. "If you're so worried then give me driving lessons." Gaara muttered and folded his arms.

"Naruto in the hospital bed and you next to him, it would be a good Christmas card," Lee said laughing. Then he smiled, "You have to take the test for your permit first. After that, sure I will teach you how to drive," Lee said happily enjoying the fact he would be able to teach his boyfriend something.

"Look in my wallet I already have everything...I am just a bad driver... Oh hey I almost forgot." Gaara said reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small camera. "Pain gave this to me, before I moved in with you guys the camera I had kinda got smashed." The redhead said and turned it on then lifted it up smiling seeing Lee on the small screen. "I did say I wanted a picture of you for my album.." Gaara added blushing and Naruto grinned. "And I have a printer that will print out pictures." Naruto said proudly.

Lee blushed a little and then grinned bringing his thumb up to his face giving Gaara thumbs up. "Yosh! Then take the picture Gaara-kun," He said happily looking at the camera for him.

Gaara smiled wider then took the photo, he laughed a little and turned it around and held it up to Lee for him to see. "You look very handsome." He said.

Lee scratched his cheek, "I suppose so.." Then he moved over and reached behind Gaara down into his back pocket getting his wallet. He pulled out the driving license and laughed. "Gaara-kun how did you get a license if you spaz when driving?" He asked before pushing it back in and handing the wallet to him.

"Weirder things have happened." Gaara said then blushed a little. "And oi watch your hands." He said playfully and stood up turning around and taking a picture of Naruto. "Ow my eyes! I hate when people use the flash!" Naruto complained and laughed. "You two should take a couple picture."

Lee blinked them smiled and reached out snatching the camera from Gaara and handing it to Naruto. Then he moved over and stood behind Gaara, wrapping his arms around his neck from behind and resting his head next to the redhead's grinning widely. "I would love a couple photo with Gaara-kun.."

Gaara blushed deeply and reached up setting his hands over Lee's arms. "Aww you two are so cute! Alright smile." Naruto said and took a picture of the couple, he then held it up for the two of them to see.

"Hehe.. you look Kawaii Gaara-kun.." Lee said and poked his lover in his cheek grinning widely. "Naruto can you print out a wallet size of that when your arm is better so that I can put it in my wallet?" He asked his blond friend.

Gaara blushed darker and gently bit Lee's finger. "Oi no poking." He said playfully. "Oh my god Lee your infected!" Naruto yelled startling a old man passing their room in a wheelchair. "And yeah sure I will print out two so Gaara can have one as well." He said his voice going back to it's normal level.

Lee turned red and bit his lip pulling back. "H-Hey! Gaara-kun no biting.." He said feeling awkward now and he backed away a bit. "Thank you Naruto-kun," He then told his friend before walking over and sitting back down in the chair letting out a sigh starting to think about all the problems they were going to start having with Naruto now out of the job and a little drama still going on.

Gaara looked confused from Lee's reaction and folded his arms sitting back down next to the blond. "Hey you two should go get food down stairs I'll be fine for a few minutes." Naruto said and yawned.

"Aww alright," Lee said and took Gaara's hand smiling and started to walk out of the room only to bump into a girl. "Oh sorry sorry sorry," The girl said spastically and knelt down picking up the release forms and prescriptions she had dropped. Then when she stood up she blinked behind blond curly hair. "Lee?" She asked tilting her head to the side. The jock blinked and thought for a moment before accidently shouting, "Kiko?!" "Ow, Geez Lee-kun you are still loud as ever," The girl said pushing some of her hair behind her ear and glancing down to his and Gaara's hands before looking at Gaara. "I see I am not the only one that has switched," She commented smiling at Gaara. "Hi," She said scrambling the papers in her hands to one arm to hold her other small hand out to Gaara.

Gaara blinked staring at her confused then shook her hand. "Who are you? How do you know Lee?" He asked glancing between them.

Kiko blinked then played with some of her hair looking to the side a little, "Guess he does not like to talk about me much, I am his-" "Friend.." Lee cut in and glanced at her. He did not want Gaara to figure out how Kiko really knew him. Gaara would be upset and probably think he was silly since, she used to be his girlfriend, but left him, not him leaving her. "Um.. sure.. we were friends in high school before I uh.. changed some thoughts and we stopped being friends," She said before scooting around Gaara. "What are you doing here anyways?" "I volunteer here, You know I always wanted to be a doctor Lee, it has not been that long since we talked." She said and smiled at Naruto. "I need you to sign a few things and listen to a silly little lecture before I can let you go 'kay?"

Gaara frowned a little getting a weird feeling looking at the blond then grabbed Lee's sleeve starting to drag him off wanting to go eat. "What did she mean by switched anyway?" He asked glancing back at his boyfriend. Naruto groan and flopped back on the bed. "Oh not a lecture." He complained.

"Oh uh.. she uhh.. switched her classes, We no longer had a lot of time to talk.." Lee lied and frowned at himself. 'Just tell him!!' Inner Lee yelled but he refused to listen. What would Gaara think of him if he found out? "Come on.. just come get some breakfast in the cafeteria with me.." He said softly still holding Gaara's hand. "Oh I know it is a really bad lecture, but sorry rules of the hospital are rules," The blond said smiling. "Now listen up ok?" She said and sat down on his bed.

Gaara raised a eye brow and fallowed his boyfriend. "Ok?" He said sounding a little confused. Naruto looked at the woman for a moment then grinned one of his flirty grins. "Well then after you lecture me maybe you and I could get some coffee together when I am out of here." He said.

Kiko blinked for a moment then blushed, "Oh uh.. you are pretty cute but.." She trailed off unsure of how to say it then just blurted it out. "I have not swung that way in a few years, sorry." She said then looked to the side, it was always awkward to have patients hit on her. "Um so right, you are getting two pills. One is blue and the other is a small white one. Take the blue one every four hours and the white one only if you are in pain alright? And you cannot take more then two of the white ones every six hours.." She said trying to keep everything professional now.

"Hey you look oddly filmier what's your name?" Naruto asked pouting a little since he was rejected. He boredly picked up Gaara's camera and took a picture of his cast. "Do you have a sharpie I want to draw on this."

"Umm.." Kiko got up. "I should leave.. if you are Lee's friend he probably does not want me talking to you Naruto-kun," she said and set the prescriptions down. "Um.. I will go get the doctor to sign you out now ok?" She said obviously a bit tense. The jock earlier had gave her the look to keep quiet about their former relationship.

"Oh hey I remember you! Jeez chill out it's not like I am going to try something on you." Naruto said and tried to move the tray table off him.

The woman blinked and moved over helping the tray off of him. "Just do not tell that boy Lee is with.. I do not think he wants him to know me," She told Naruto and sat down on the bed again.

"Oh that's Gaara, hey maybe you could give me some extra wrappings redhead has cuts all over him from a fight...oh boy Lee is gonna freak when he finely see's em." Naruto muttered then stretched.

"I am glad Lee is happy, he was down when I broke up with him," She said and stood up going over to a cabinet in the room and unlocking it with her key. "And sure, I would be happy to make a little kit of some good ointments and bandages for him to use," She said happily.

"That would be nice! If it's not to awkward maybe you could take a look at him before he leaves...he really got the shit beat out of him. So we gonna hang out like old times? Us blonds should stick together." Naruto said grinning at her.

Kiko started putting some things together. "Of course I will look over him!" When she was done she smiled and walked over setting it on the small table. "Heh, I am surprised that you remember us hanging out," She said to him and sat back down, pushing her hair back behind her ear.

"We were buddies! You just look so different I didn't know it was you. Your hair is so long it used to be soo short." Naruto said laughing a little and looked at his cast. "Want to be the first to sign it? Come on I know you waant to."

Kiko giggled lightly and pulled out a purple sharpie and leaned down over him a little to get to his cast, not even really thinking about it since one they were friends and two she liked women. "There we go.." She said as she signed across the cast.

"WOO!! All I need now is Lee and Gaara to sign before the team covers it in random crap." Naruto said then smirked at her. "Oh Kiko for a nurse you shouldn't have cleavage you will give the old pervs heart attacks." He said and laughed starting to remember how they used to make pervert jokes to each other back when they hung out.

"Why you looking ya old geezer," Kiko said with another laugh and sat up straight pulling her tank top up and adjusting her scrubs. "No I am kidding, I only get this close to such, amazingly handsome guys," She said over exaggerating to show she was kidding.

Naruto stuck out his tongue then carefully crossed his arm. "Oh yeah suuure." He replied and grinned again. "You gonna stop by at some point? We are still in the same place."

"Do you think Lee-kun would be ok with that? He seems somewhat unhappy to see me," She said a little worried and placed one of her knuckles up to her lips. "But I really would like to be around you guys more.. you are the nicest friends I had.."

"Had?? HAD?? Have! We are still friends! We have just been so busy. Well even if Bushy-brows is being odd we can still hang out can't we beautiful?" Naruto asked and looked at his cast.

Kiko grinned widely and leaned over messing up his hair even more then it was before kissing his head, "Of course handsome," She said playfully then lightly hit his good shoulder.
