Feelings...?

She swam to the surface to find all those villagers laughing at her, and then that was when they stopped suddenly with a giant gust of wind--Kakashi Hatake had arrived. He went to the river's bank as she swam there, and he helped pull her out.
"You should all be ashamed of yourselves." Kakashi glared at them. "To treat anyone in this village that way. That is cruelty. You should all be locked away!"
"Come now, Kakashi-san, don't be so hard on us," said the man who had beat her. "We're just having some fun with her. She deserves it after betraying this village and having sex with that horrid man, Orochimaru. Cut us some slack."
"Cut you some slack? This girl was raped, against her will! And now you all treat her like a rabid dog that needs to be put down? When did you all lose yourselves?"
A few of the villagers hung their head, and walked away, but the man continued to go on. "That girl did it on purpose! She wanted to carry that snake-freak's spawn!"
"Enough!" Kakashi yelled, and the man flinched. "You can slander me all you want, but I won't let you speak ill of the person I love!"
'Kakashi-senpai?!' Koroshi thought in her mind.
The man spat in Kakashi's and Koroshi's direction. "You two deserve each other, then." With that, the man stormed off, and Kakashi lifted Koroshi into his arms.
"Let's get you home, Koroshi-chan." Kakashi said, and she nodded. He carried her back to the Uchiha estate, and took her to the bathroom. "I will go and buy you some groceries while you get a shower, and then I will come back here. The babies are with Guy and his team right now, aren't they?" Koroshi nodded. "Alright, after I get back here with the groceries, I will go and pick them up for you."
Kakashi disappeared, and Koroshi shut and locked the bathroom door, undressing herself. 'Kakashi-senpai......loves me? He had to mean as a friend. That had to be it. Or even a little sister. Surely he doesn't mean in a romantic way.....I couldn't handle that right now. And oh, how I miss Itachi-sama....' She sighed out loud as she thought.
When she finished, Koroshi went down stairs to find Kodachi letting her sons lay against her, being careful not to move and knock them over, and Kakashi cooking in the kitchen. He took notice of her.
"I figured you would be about done, Koroshi-chan. Lunch is almost ready."
"Kakashi-senpai?" Koroshi asked, and he grunted, letting her know that she had his attention. "Earlier.....what you said to that man......"
His heart raced and went into overdrive. He knew what she was talking about, of course he did. He turned to face her. "I....have feelings for you, Koroshi-chan, but I am not going to act on those feelings because I know that you are in love with Itachi. I know that you will not abandon him, and that you would reject any advances I tried to make on you. So I am not going to bother. But I just want you to know, that I am here for you, and that I will continue to be here for you."
"Kakashi...." Koroshi trailed off, and then she gave him a hug. "Thank you."
He rubbed her back for a moment, then patted her shoulder. "It’s no problem, Koroshi."
When they finished eating lunch, they took the babies and Kodachi for a walk in the forest. The babies first time in the forest, and they stared in awe at the pretty bugs and plants, and Kodachi yipped happily as they enjoyed their outing.
Koroshi suddenly held a new respect for Kakashi.
Unknown to them, there was a certain white-haired medical ninjutsu user who worked for a certain snake-like sannin watching them from the shadows.
