Three days later Pain was leaning against his front door way glaring at Naruto. "I said no.. Gaara is not going to a game where he could get hurt again.. stop asking and leave.." He murmured out.

"I am not leaving! As Gaara's best friend I am to help him! And it will cheer him up please!!" Naruto begged. It was amazing he was able to get the address to Pains house but after hours and hours waiting at Gaara's work for Sasori to show up paid off.

Pain sighed deeply and rubbed his forehead. The blond already had given him a head ache. "Quiet down... if you wake up Konan she will have a fit. I am telling you, no is no. He has been fine these last few days, and I highly doubt going to a place he could possibly get hurt again AND seeing Lee would do anything but just make him more upset..." The orange haired male said in an irritated tone.

"But, but they love each other! They need to see each other again!" Naruto yelled and got onto his tip toes trying to see if he could see Gaara inside. "Please you got to let him go! I know he is unhappy without Lee!" He whined.

"Fine just stop yelling!" Pain shouted now pissed off. Then he turned and walked inside to go get Gaara. "Gaara.. Naruto is here and wants to take you to some soccer game.. do you want to go?" He asked as Pima ran passed Pain and to the door getting down low and growling, but he was tilting his head to the side. The dog always growled, he never was really mad.

"AHH!! G-Good dog stay there." Naruto said backing up looking freaked out. Gaara got up from the couch and looked at the door. 'I shouldn't go...but I really want to see Lee...even if he doesn't see me..' He thought and messed up his hair more trying to think.

Pima ran forward and tackled Naruto down, licking his face and barking happily. "Damn dog shut up! You are going to wake Konan up!" Pain yelled at the top of his lungs not even thinking about the fact he was being loud. "Gaara if you do not want to go I will tell him fuck off.." Pain then said simply.

Gaara sweat dropped and walked over to the door opening it wider. "Hey a animal that likes me!" Naruto said happily then shut his mouth when he heard Konan yell. "SHUT THE HELL UP!! Gaara-chan if your leaving call us later ok." Konan said from the top of the stairs smiling at him then glaring at Naruto.

Pain winced hearing his soon to be wife yell. "Just be careful if you leave ok..?" He said to Gaara then pat his head before running up stairs to Konan. "Hey Babe it is ok, do not be mad, calm down.." He said softly and kissed her. Pima blinked and his ears fell back getting off of Naruto and going inside, Konan scared him every time she yelled.

Kitty:

Gaara gave a small smile to Pain then slipped out the door and was right away glomped by Naruto. "Oh Gaara's its so good to see you!! Ah! What did that ass hole do to you?" He asked looking at the wrappings on the younger male. "Naruto relax.." Gaara said and looked back at Pain. "Thank you." He said before fallowing the blond over to his car.

Demon:

Pain nodded to Gaara. Meanwhile though Lee was freaking out. He didn't know what to do. Pacing in the locker room he contemplated on whether he should go play or not. Naruto said he was going to try and get Gaara to come.. but would they mean they would see each other? What if Gaara came just to yell at him. Or what if he wasn't coming at all? Lee really was trying to think positive but his mind had been everywhere the last few days.

Guy walked into the locker room and grinned seeing Lee. "Hey Lee! How has your youth been?" He asked loudly slapping Lee on the back.

Lee was unfazed and blinked at Guy. "Not so good.. I am unsure of if I want to go to the game today or not... I am so confused.. I just want to leave.." Lee said running his hand through his hair letting out a loud sigh.

Guy frowned a little then grinned again. "Come on Lee? Where's that youthful strength?! You can't let life bring you down! You got to stay strong!" He said trying to cheer Lee up.

"I know Guy-sensei I know..." Lee said and sighed then rubbed his arm. "I guess I should get out there and play huh?" He asked now looking down at the tiled floor.

"Uh huh! The team needs you Lee, we are only good when we have everyone." The older man said and picked up his clip board.

"Alright, thank you Guy-sensei I will try and do my best," Lee said a little bit more happy and ran out of the locker room and out onto the field with everyone else.

Gaara and Naruto had entered through the back gate to the field by small building that was used to store supplies for the games. "Ok I guess we wait till after the game.. want me go grab you a water bottle?" Naruto asked resting his bat on his shoulder. Gaara nodded and leaned on the building and looked around the corner at the field.

Lee got into his starting place then froze up. He saw Gaara over by the building and all his muscles wouldn't move. The whistle blew for the game to started, but Lee still did not move. When Kiba yelled at him though he snapped out of it and a smile tugged at his lips and he bolted off easily getting the ball from another player. However while Lee was playing he didn't have time to notice the white haired male coming behind Gaara. "Hey, I thought I told you to break up with him, the hell are you doing here Gaara?" Kimimaro asked obviously mad.

Gaara tensed then spun around and glared at him. "I can't watch him Play?...Why are you here?" He said and glanced around to try and see where Naruto was. 'Shit...I am in shape to try and fight him...' He thought.

"I was coming to make sure you were not even close to him.. guess that failed though.." Kimimaro sighed and pulled his hand out of his pocket. "You are so fucking stupid sometimes Gaara..." He said and went to punch Gaara in the jaw but a hand stopped his. Lee noticed the other male raising his fist and even though he was about to make a goal immediately ran off the field and over to go protect Gaara. Leaving everyone baffled as to why he had suddenly run off.

"Oh I am so going to kick your ass." Naruto growled and punched the taller male in the jaw then tapped his bat on the ground as he moved next to Gaara. "Naruto! Be careful he is a really good fighter." Gaara said and glared at Kimimaro.

Lee tightened his hands into fists. "Naruto... I got this.." He said and glanced back to Gaara before going to Kimimaro. However the kid was street smart, he knew when he was out numbered and he jumped to his feet quickly and backed up. But as he was about to run away Lee ran in front of him and punched him in the gut. "Do not ever hurt my Gaara-kun again!" He yelled and Kimimaro coughed and recoiled back from the blow. "F-Fine.." He murmured and then bolted off running passed Pain who was walking up. "I was coming to check if he was ok.. but I guess you two have got it.." He said looking at Lee. 'Maybe he is someone to trust..'

Gaara's eyes widened and felt his eyes burn a little finely seeing Lee again. 'Even after that horrible phone call he is still defending me??' He thought surprised and Naruto waved at Pain. "Hii!! Bushy-Brows can beat up anyone." Naruto said and rested part of his bat back on his shoulder.

Lee winced when he heard his team mates call for him and frowned turning around and going to step closer to Gaara but stopped. "Umm.. Gaara-kun.." Lee looked down. "Is it true you only broke up with me because of him.. or do you really not wish to be with me anymore..?" He asked rubbing his arm while intently staring at the grass. Pain fell silent looking at Lee then frowned and walked over gently pushing him into Gaara. "You two need to make up.. soo make up.. I am going to go find that little brat and beat the shit out of him.." Pain then said and started walking away.

"I…I d-didn't want to break up w-with you…he was going to k-kill you if I didn't..I…" Gaara tightened his hands into fists and forced himself to keep talking even though he stuttered a bit. "I w-would r-rather me b-be hurt then y-you..."

"G-Gaara-kun.. do not ever do that again.. I.." Lee let out a shaky breath and pulled Gaara close into his chest and tried not to cry. "I do not know what I would do if you ever left me for real... I.. I freaked out.. I love you so much.. do not ever think that you should get hit before me... what ever is going on we can go through it together ok..?" Lee asked resting his head on Gaara's.

Gaara couldn't help but cry at this and wrapped his arms tightly around Lee. "I-I'm s-sorry...I-I'm s-so sorry L-Lee-kun.. I l-love you t-to.." He said burying his face into Lee's chest. He felt so relived to be in his arms again.

"Lee! Where the hell did you go man? Come on we have a game to play!" Came Kiba's voice and Lee frowned. He did not want to leave Gaara, not yet. Pulling back Lee raised his hands and rest both of them on Gaara's cheeks coated with tears and kissed him as passionately as he could, putting all of his love into it. When he pulled back he whispered, "I am sorry.. I have to get back to the game, I love you so very much.. do not leave ok..? I want to walk you home after the game... your real home.." Lee whispered out.

Gaara blushed and gave a small nod. "H-Hurry back.." He whispered back and blinked when he noticed Naruto running back over to them. "Hey I got your water bottle finely." He said and smiled seeing how close they were.

"Hai.." Lee said and smiled at Naruto. "Keep him safe for me..." Lee said running back to his game oblivious to the fact Kimimaro had come back and was just waiting for the right time to come back in. With Naruto's back turned to him and Lee gone he knew he had the upper hand and jumped in his knife already out and ready. "Gaara... you lied see I knew it. I was fucking right all along you never broke up with him.." He said to the redhead.

Gaara's eyes widened and he started forward. "Just leave me the hell alone!" He yelled and Naruto turned around to glare at Kimimaro and raised his bat. "You sure have a lot of nerve." He growled. "Naruto don't!" Gaara said but the blond ran at Kimimaro and swung the bat aiming for his shoulder.

Kimimaro easily ducked under the bat and flipped the hand blade around in his hand, bringing it up into the arm that was swinging the bat, digging down before pulling back gashing the flesh and quickly moving back. "Stupid move brat.. and No! You fucking are stupid! Stupid people should get some sense beat into them!" He yelled. WHile Naruto kept holding his arm Kimimaro smirked and tried to move around him only to stop when the blond grabbed his shirt growling. "Let go," Kimimaro said and went to punch Naruto but a hand stopped him from behind. Pain stood their easily holding the boy to where he could not harm anyone, his other hand grabbing the wrist holding the knife and squeezed hard making the young boy yelp and drop the knife he was holding. "Are you alright Naruto?" Pain asked while dodging every punch and kick Kimimaro was trying to give to get away.

Naruto gripped his arm tightly gritting his teeth as blood dripped between his fingers. "God damn it that hurts." He said and Gaara was at his side right away. "N-Naruto.." Gaara looked worriedly at his friend and placed his hand over the blonds trying to help.

"Gaara take him to the hospital.. I am going to deal with him..." Pain said glaring at the boy in his hand and he dragged him away to go beat the shit out of him away from the game. Lee however wasn't paying attention to Gaara at the moment, he thought everything was ok and was focusing on winning the game, getting as many scores as he could.

Gaara glanced over at the field then pulled Naruto over to the car helping him get in. There was so much blood...the cut was really deep. Gaara reached over and grabbed Naruto's keys then started the car. "Oh hell no! Your the worst driver Gaara." Naruto said his eyes wide and Gaara glared at him before wincing looking at his arm. "Just shut up! I can do this." And tried to back up the car getting confused when it moved really slow. "Gaara the emergency brake.." "Oh! Right.." He said pushing it down then backing up the car.

By the time the game was over Lee was exhausted and Gaara and Naruto were already long gone. He jogged over to where he left Gaara and his heart sank looking around seeing there was no redhead to be found but when he glanced over he saw the knife covered in blood and freaked out. "Oh no! Gaara-kun probably got hurt again ugh stupid stupid me!" Lee yelled to himself. Pain came up whipping some blood off of his hands and sighed. "Naruto is the one hurt not Gaara.. come on Lee.." He said and took Lee to his car and drove to the hospital. Lee immediately rushing in looking for Naruto and Gaara.

Gaara sent Lee a text trying to tell him he was at the hospital and looked over at Naruto who had passed out in the car and had still hadn't woken up. "Hey do you want a cloth to clean your hands?" Tsunade asked, she was the best doctor there and had knew Pain's group for awhile. "Y-Yeah..." Gaara said looking at the blood on his hands.

Lee's phone was still broken however so he did not get the text and he was frantically asking the nurses at the hospital which room to go to. When he found the room number he dashed away from Pain and ran all the way up the stairs and too the room, opening the door quickly and panting. "Gaara-kun! I-Is Naruto ok? are you ok?"

Tsunade raised a eye brow at Lee and turned to look at him. "He is unconscious from blood loss but your redheaded friend here got him here just in time." She said and set the cloth down. "I'll be right back." She said and walked out of the room.

Lee walked over to Gaara and frowned at Naruto. "What happened?" He asked and raised his hand to gently stroke Gaara's cheek, ushering him in closer so he could delicately wrap an arm around the small waist comfortingly.

"Kimimaro stabbed him...t-to much blood.." Gaara mumbled still looking down at his hands in a bit of a daze.

"It is ok Gaara-kun..." Lee said and pulled him even closer rubbing his back trying to distract him from his bloody hands. Lee was seriously going to kill this Kimimaro guy if Pain already hadn't. He glanced over at his blond friend and frowned more. Why was so much stuff going wrong now?

Gaara let his arms drop to his sides and bowed his head a little. "I'm so tired...I barley spelt these past few days... I missed you.." He said sounding a little out of it and closed his eyes. He was still worried about the blond but having Lee so close again was relaxing him to the point he remembered just how tired he was.

"Shh it is ok.. you should sleep Gaara-kun.. come on.." He said moving Gaara over to a chair in the room and set him down in it. Glancing over his shoulder Lee saw the towel and grabbed it soaking it in a bit of the clean water before starting to clean Gaara's hands off of the blood. "I love you.. I missed you as well.. but you need some sleep.. I will watch Naruto when the nurse is not in here ok..?"

"Ok...will you sit with me though? The chair has a switch that will make it lay back.." Gaara said his eyes opening half way to watch Lee clean the blood away. "I had Pain's dog as company but nothing could replace you sleeping next to me..." He mumbled, since he was so tired he was saying what was on his mind.

Lee smiled, Gaara was being so sweet. After he cleaned Gaara's hands off he set the towel aside and kissed the redhead's knuckles before moving and getting beside Gaara in the slightly larger then normal chair. It was a tight fit, but Lee did not care, he wrapped his arms around Gaara, reclined the chair back and relaxed. He just wanted Gaara close, and tonight was probably going to be a long night. "I missed having you this close.." Lee murmured and shut his eyes.

"I missed your warmth a lot...and your scent." Gaara said snuggling into the older male and shutting his eyes, he normally was a nervous wreck when he was in places like this but having Lee there changed that by a lot.

Lee would have blushed at that and spazzed if not for the fact he was relaxing holding Gaara so close. "Nmn... good night Gaara-kun.. just remember I am always here for you.." Lee whispered into the younger boy's ear before adding I love you on the end then starting to doze off a little bit.

The redhead fell asleep snuggled up to his boyfriend a small smile on his lips. Tsunade walked in a few minutes later and blinked looking at the two males, smiling she walked over and grabbed a extra blanket from the closet then carefully draped it over them. "Sorry to disturb you but what's your name?" She asked noticing Lee was still awake.

Lee opened his eyes halfway and yawned. "Sorry... Rock Lee... is it alright if I stay here with them..?" He asked tiredly blankly staring at the woman with blond hair. Pain came in and smiled seeing Gaara was finally sleeping

peacefully and waited for Tsunade to get done talking to Lee. He figured he would be generous at the moment and pay for the hospital bill knowing the three boys had enough trouble paying things.

"Oh alright Lee, can you push the red button on the remote next to his bed if anything goes wrong? The green one you push if you guys need anything. Pillows are in the closet." Tsunade explained and glanced at Pain. "So many of your group are brought here you all need to be more careful." She said giving a small frown before leaving the room again.

Lee nodded to what she said then closed his eyes again and relaxed, falling asleep with Gaara cuddled close into him. Pain sighed looking at them then rubbed his forehead and turned around following Tsunade out of the room so she could show him down to where to pay and all that jazz.
