His medical condition will make it dangerous to remove him. Naruto pointed out that Pelidnota had different techniques so we decided to get them to check him out. That’s what took us so long.”
Shino nodded, “Let’s go then.” He said as he gripped the extra crystal handle on Kimimaro’s casing, which made it quite easy to hold.
“I hope you don’t mind if I join you.” Utakata said as they all moved as a group with Shibi moving ahead to check for any obstacles that might get in the way. “I’d prefer to not stay in the village until another mission is done.”
“Yes.” Shibi said, taking note of the fact that Shino’s insects were landing on Naruto. “If it’s allowed, what mission is it you’re waiting on?”
Utakata chuckled, “I can’t give too many details until some others join us in Pelidnota, but I think its official name is plushy parade.”
Naruto nodded, “Yep. That's what the old man decided. With Kurama and Saiken giving ROOT all the funny secrets it shouldn’t take long to convince their siblings to come along.” He explained while still not giving too many details.

Eventually the discussion tried to go back to how Naruto and Shino got together. However, Naruto assured Shibi and Torune that they’d understand once they got to Pelidnota.

Tsunade snorted as she plopped down on a chair next to the bed, “I’m going to give you a quick update before explaining exactly why you’re stupid-“
“Fuck you!” Sasuke snapped furiously really hating bring called stupid. “I already know that an invasion happened and that Orochimaru was executed so don’t call-ow!” Sasuke yelped in pain when Tsunade decided that she wanted to put her feet up and did so. It just so happens her footstool was Sasuke’s bandaged knee.
“Oh good. You’re being quiet.” Tsunade commented casually despite knowing that Sasuke only shut up because he was in pain. “Now the update has to do with your team. Sakura is no longer a ninja. She dropped the program after Orochimaru was executed. As for your sensei, Kakashi, is dealing with his own mission. Since he’ll be busy long after you’ve healed, the hokage decided to give you a new sensei. That will be me.”
Sasuke smirked, “Considering you’re only a medic I’m guessing that means you’re going to help revive my clan-ow!”
Tsunade hummed casually as she continued digging her heel into the bandaged leg, “No actually. Due to your shitty performance in the exam it has been agreed that you need a reality check. I was assigned to, not train, but humble you.”
“I’m an Uchiha-“Sasuke tried to yell, but got a chakra coated finger to the throat rendering him silent as he glared at the medic who was now standing next to his bed and leaning over him.

Get ready, my little student.” She said darkly, making the Uchiha actually hope that he didn’t heal very fast, but with Tsunade overseeing his care he did.

A medic in Pelidnota nodded as he and a few other medics reviewed the test results Naruto gave them, “These were done a few days ago, correct?” He asked as Naruto walked back into the room after speaking to the Red Admiral.

“In that case then this is a good sign. These test results show classic signs of a respiratory disease that’s well known here. Our medicine should hopefully help. Can you free him from the crystal?” The medic asked, trying to focus on the patient and not the cool crystal power.
Naruto nodded and canceled the crystal jutsu, “We’ll be staying here so please send any updates here.” Naruto said to one medic, who took note of the address Naruto gave him. As Kimimaro was taken away Naruto headed right to that exact address. “They know what’s wrong with Kimimaro- … you all look quite red.” Naruto commented when he saw Shibi, Torune, Utakata and Shino were all blushing brightly and sitting awkwardly in the living room. “Sooo … I take it they learned about the ritual.” He whispered to Shino.
Shino nodded, “They let their insects out to help with other crops and our insects heard everything … and then dad and Torune charged in yelling about it while I was talking with Utakata.”

“It was … surprising.” Shibi commented with a lingering look at Naruto.
Shino sighed, “Naruto didn’t make me do anything, father. He offered to find another way, but I didn’t take it. If anything I convinced him to do it with me.”
The blonde nodded nervously, “It didn’t take much convincing. So does that mean you guys don’t want to help with the next ritual? While at the hospital the Red Admiral told me that another harvest will be happening-“
“Neither of us has a partner.” Shibi said abruptly, clearly trying to drop the subject.
“Yeah, the Red Admiral knows. I swear he has a sixth sense when it comes to relationships.” Naruto commented as he reached into his pocket and handed Shibi a note. “He told me to give you both that.”
Shino’s eyes widened when his father and brother immediately left after reading the note, “What the hell was in that note?!” He gasped in complete shock as Naruto laughed.
The blonde went and shut the door that Shibi and Torune left open in their hurry, “Apparently, there’s a set up for people who are willing to help with the ritual, but don’t have a partner. Naruto blinked, “Ok. I may as well do it now.” He said, but became oddly silent. “Before I go do that … I wanted to run something by you guys.”
Shino raised an eyebrow, “What is it?” He asked. He was just as surprised as Utakata was to see the blonde a bit shy about something.
“It’s another medical program the Red Admiral mentioned … because of the whole ritual and reasons around it another thing was created. Apparently, they have a very effective method of getting men pregnant.” Naruto said and looked at Utakata and Shino’s stunned faces.
Utakata finally came out of his daze, “You’re serious? We can have kids?”

Once he saw the image of a foggy place with the sound of water nearby he frowned. “Hikaru?” He called out wondering where the Prince was.

However, they still stayed close enough to Naruto in case something happened. They soon learned a lot more has changed than even Danzo and Hiruzen knew about.
Not long after moving to Pelidnota, Kurama wanted to try the pregnancy procedure. Once they decided that they all decided on another thing. The babies, all demons and Naruto, were safer in Pelidnota.
After talking it over with the Red Admiral, Hiruzen and Danzo it was all arranged. The Aburames would continue as diplomats, but Naruto and his family, including plushy demons, would become permanent residents. That kept the treaty intact, but Naruto officially became a freelance ninja that worked with Konoha. With the crystals Hiruzen managed to pass on missions to Naruto and recent updates on their friends.
The news that Danzo and Hiruzen planned to retire was passed on, everyone learned that Hinata and Kiba started dating and they even visited frequently through a crystal. Naruto raised an eyebrow as he kept walking, “She hid? … she wanted them to see me alone … I’ll risk it.” He murmured and tensed to get ready for an attack despite sensing Tsunade standing out of sight with Kurama and Shino. The second the first villager recognized him, something unexpected happened. The man dropped to his knees and started crying. “Um are you ok-“
“I’m so sorry!” The man sobbed as he bowed to Naruto.
As a result everyone around heard the man and looked in their direction. Just when Naruto thought he might be accused of hurting the man, everyone else started crying too and saying sorry. Not only that, but they seemed genuine. No one was begging or making excuses. It was just heartache.
“Um … it’s fine.” Naruto said after getting the feeling that they’d all stay in place until he said something. His words seemed to bring on some more tears, but they thanked him and tried to go on with what they originally doing. “This is … surreal.” He commented and kept walking.
Every few turns the same thing would happen with another set of villagers. Each time he’d say the same thing and they’d slowly leave. Just before he turned onto the last street before he’d get to the ramen stand he saw someone who definitely wouldn’t have the same response as the villagers. However, it was too late. Sasuke saw him.
Naruto bit the bullet and smiled politely, “Hey, Sasuke.”
Sasuke, who was in a medic uniform, smiled sadly, “Hey, Naruto.” He said and winced slightly when he saw the glimpse of surprise in the blue eyes. “I … I really was an asshole, wasn’t I?” Sasuke sighed sadly and bowed. “It’s probably far too late to say this, but I’m sorry-“
“Don’t worry about it. It’s fine.” Naruto said calmly as he started walking past Sasuke.
“I … I legitimately tried to kill you.” Sasuke said with his voice cracking slightly as if he was holding back sobs.
Naruto shrugged, “You’re not the only one. See ya around.” He said before heading to the ramen stand where Danzo and Hiruzen were waiting. Kurama, Shino and Tsunade reappeared.
“That … was interesting.” Kurama commented and he and Shino looked at Naruto.
“It was.” Naruto said and looked at Tsunade. “We still feel better in Pelidnota for a number of reasons.” He said with a smile as he heard his babies yawn.
Tsunade scoffed, “I get not wanting to stay in this place. I just don’t like close minded people.” She said with a smirk before leaving.
Hiruzen chuckled, “I think she’ll make a great hokage.”
Danzo nodded, “Guren will be taking my position by the way.” He commented before the babies started getting fussy. “Oh right. I guess you sweethearts are hungry too. Let’s get some food.”
Naruto unsealed the bottles of milk. The babies were fed as they waited for their ramen. They all chatted and ate their fill. Kakashi, who was wearing a frilly maid’s uniform and matching face mask, stopped by. Of course, he had to get back to ‘Master Kurenai’ so he didn’t stay long. He quickly left with a takeout order of ramen.
Not long after finishing their food Hinata and Kiba dropped by and walked out of the village with them, but not too far. Naruto, Konohamaru, Kurama, Shino and the babies made the journey back on their own and were soon at their home in Pelidnota.
