Every last Akatsuki member left to catch the host of the nine tailed fox …

The two lazy gate guards who were on duty that day, Izumo and Kotetsu, suddenly looked up when they heard someone coming, “Kakashi?!” The two guards winced as the silver haired ninja ignored them in favor of looking down the road. They awkwardly tried to start any conversation, but it ended in failure. However, they suddenly saw Kakashi practically glow with excitement and turned to see what he was looking at.
“Kakashi!” There, walking towards Konoha, was a young woman with short blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin and whisker marks on her cheeks.
The guards’ jaws dropped as Kakashi was tackled in a hug, “Oh Naruko! I missed you! Come on. I have everything ready for you at my place! It is a bit far away from the Namikaze compound, but we can worry about the compound later.”
”Yes. I’d much rather get settled first. If that’s even possible in this place.” The blonde said anxiously as they walked down the road and took a left, the opposite direction of the Namikaze compound.
Kotetsu blinked, “She’s really back … it might sound bad, but I was hoping the rumors were wrong.” He said looking guilty.
Izumo frowned, “Yeah. Should we get a gift?”
“Like what? Do you know anything that screams ‘sorry for doing nothing to help you’ or ‘yes, this village tortured you, but we can be friends’ …” Izumo trailed off waiting for his partner to give a reasonable answer. No answer came from the rather sheepish Kotetsu. “Exactly. I bet any attempt is going to backfire … we’ll see what happens with the clan heirs before doing anything.”
Kotetsu sighed, “I really hope that rumor isn’t true because if you’re right and anything could backfire then sending the heirs to seduce her will destroy us-“
“Excuse me.” The guards jumped and realized a group of four people were waiting to go through the gate.
This time there was a woman with lightly tanned skin, blue eyes and long brown hair that was up by a blue hair clip that matched her eyes and earrings. She wore light blue sundress and a necklace with a simple blue stone that was carved into the shape of a bat. With her were two raven haired women. One was older, and possibly a mother of one of the girls, with green eyes. The other girl had black eyes and looked annoyed. The last member of the group was a man in a wheelchair who was being pushed by the blue eyed woman.
The woman in the blue dress sighed, “It’s been a long trip and my husband is tired. Which direction is this street?” She asked as she handed the guards a note.
Kotetsu smiled sheepishly, especially at the young brown haired man in the wheelchair, as he took the note, “Sorry about that. We were distracted.” He looked at the address and pointed. “Go straight ahead and take the first right. Are you all traveling together?”
The blue eyed girl smiled, “Yep! We have some plans to work out.” She said kissing the man in the wheelchair, who blushed ever so slightly and smiled, before the group continued into the village. They took the first right and disappeared from view.

“Where is your home again?” The whisker marked blonde asked nervously as she held onto Kakashi’s sleeve.
Kakashi glared back at the villagers, who were staring at Naruko, as they walked down the streets, “It’s right up ahead. Jiraiya, Tsunade and Shizune are waiting there already!” He exclaimed loud enough for the villagers in range to hear and effectively flinch in fear.
“Ok.” The blonde said and they continued walking, but only for a moment. A large dog with some guy on its back rudely jumped down from the roof of a nearby building effectively cutting off their path.
“Sorry about that. We weren’t watching where we were going.” The guy riding on the dog said, but then he raised an eyebrow curiously when he spotted the unfamiliar girl hugging Kakashi’s side. “Hey! I don’t believe we’ve met. I’m Kiba and this is Akamaru. Who are you?” He asked the blonde woman with Kakashi as he jumped off the large canine.
Before the pretty blonde could say anything Kakashi stepped between them with a cheerful eye smile, “Don’t be so koi, Kiba! You know me!” Kakashi exclaimed and pulled Kiba into a hug. Once Kakashi had the younger ninja in his clutches the mood shifted into a more ominous air. “You remember me, right?” He asked and that hug became a bit too tight. “I’m that guy that can kill with a lightning coated fist to the chest if they get too close.”
Kiba paled heavily as Kakashi’s one exposed eye glared menacingly at him, “Oh right. How stupid of me.” He said getting the feeling Kakashi was not going to let him speak to the blonde. Retreat was the option he picked and he did so with his large dog the second he was released from the terrifying hug.
“That was nice of him.” Kakashi said innocently, pretending he didn’t just put the fear of a lightning-covered fist in the dog ninja. “Now let’s go home! You must be hungry, Naruko.”
The young blonde woman smiled, “I am actually. We should go.” She said softly before taking Kakashi’s hand and following him past dozens of villagers, who looked just as terrified as Kiba was. Thankfully, it didn’t take long to get to Kakashi’s apartment. “That was interesting.” The blonde said, referring to the earlier incident with Kiba and looked around as she stepped into the house.
Kakashi scoffed, “Not really.” He said as he shut the door. “Don’t worry. Jiraiya and I made sure this place is as secure as it needs to be.” He commented as he guided her to the living room where Tsunade, Jiraiya and Shizune were waiting.
“That’s good. Not that full security is necessary as long as we aren’t heard or understood from outside. We mainly want the appearance of it. I need to be captured at some point.” The blonde said calmly with a little chuckle.
Jiraiya frowned, “I set it up exactly as you instructed, but is this really a wise plan?”
“It does seem risky.” Tsunade commented as she looked at the blonde who took the seat across from her. “I do get why a distraction is needed, but couldn’t you let the Akatsuki and Orochimaru be the distraction? Does it need to be you, Haru?”
Naruko’s formerly gray haired teammate just shook her head, “We need all eyes off the Namikaze compound and that wouldn’t happen unless they have a target.”
Shizune tilted her head curiously, “This seems like a lot just to get her inheritance.”
Haru smiled, “We have far more than one target … Naruko and Sana should be getting into position now.”

Not long after walking into the village the young man in the wheelchair started coughing and hasn’t stopped. A few people glanced at him as the young woman in the blue sundress helped him keep the breathing mask to his face. Only a few of the eavesdropping villagers stopped their frantic gossiping to listen in.
“Just relax, ok? I’m right here.” The woman said as she checked his pulse. “Your pulse is very high.”
The older woman in the group frowned, “I wonder if the trip here was too stressful.”
“Being here is too stressful.” The young raven haired woman said, almost sounding annoyed.
“Yes. Let’s get out of the sun … the hotel should be right up ahead.” The blue eyed woman said before wheeling the wheelchair away supposedly unaware of the rather annoyed villagers.
Konoha’s entitled villagers were actually annoyed that this group of tourists thought they were having a stressful day. All the villagers just found out the true lineage of the very person they tortured and they aren’t finding an easy means of fixing it. As far as they were concerned they were the ones having a stressful time, not the tourist with a cough.
What the villagers didn’t know was that the group of tourists heard everything. All of the whining about getting in the demon brat’s good graces. How the first attempt to woo the demon failed. On top of that the tourists heard all the hateful comments and plots to reluctantly get on her good side. None of those knew that the tourists demeanor completely changed the second they closed the door to their hotel room.
The blue eyed woman steered the chair iinto the room with everyone else and stepped aside, but her legs buckled, “Kurama!” The man in the wheelchair gasped with a slight cough, but still managed to catch her around the waist. “They’re monsters-“
“Shh!” The green eyed woman hissed sharply before basically slapping a seal on the wall and helped the other raven search the room. As the two women looked for any listening devices, the young man carefully got out of the wheelchair and lowered himself to the floor so he could properly hold the blue eyed woman in his arms. “Clear! I’ll raise a glass of champagne when the main event starts. Sana, get the equipment. ” She hissed as she kneeled down next to the two on the floor.
Sana scoffed, “I’ll get popcorn too. Fucking village deserves a shake up.” She said and glanced at the blue eyed woman she knew was actually Naruko who was the very demon all those foolish villagers were gossiping about. Considering what everyone heard in that short walk to the hotel it’s no wonder they were pissed. That was enough to stress Kimimaro's condition due to anger and Naruko was quite shaken as well. “Haru is going to have fun messing with them.” She muttered as she unsealed a few things and laid them out on the little side table in the room.
Naruko gave a halfhearted chuckle as she leaned against Kimimaro, “I feel sorry for anyone who tries anything with her.” She said still sounding a little shaken, but the color started returning to her cheeks. It seems coming back here was a bigger shock to her system than she thought. However, after a few moments she steadied herself enough to stand and help Kimimaro up. “We should contact Haru first, right?” She asked as she stood there just letting Kimimaro lean on her. It was comforting.
Jade nodded as she stood up and went towards the window, “Not yet. She might already be under surveillance. Let’s see if Barb has spotted anyone following Haru.” She said as she got a bug ready and wrote a note.
Sana raised an eyebrow, “Barb-sensei is here?” She asked a little surprised that she didn’t know about that and Naruko looked surprised too even if she was a bit distracted as she helped Kimimaro back into the wheelchair.
“Yes. She actually came here with Yobaba and Yumi. It would’ve been strange that two very rich old women were traveling alone. She played bodyguard and is in the perfect position to deliver details … honestly, she wanted to mark out the security around the Namlkaze compound for us, but there was some unexpected interference. We have to start from scratch.” Jade chuckled as she put the note in the bug and opened the window so she could set it on the window sill.
Naruko frowned, “What could possibly get in Barb-sensei’s way?” She and Sana pondered as a bird flew away with the bug.

Yumi looked up as she saw a bug fall towards the floor from the opened window next to her, but she easily caught it before it hit the floor, “Barb, it’s time to report in. Invite Kakashi over.” She ordered the tall muscular woman sitting on the couch, who was reading a magazine.
“She meant now.” Yobaba remarked sharply as she poured a couple cups of tea and gave one to her fellow elder.
Barb’s eyebrow twitched in annoyance, but soon sighed in defeat and stood up, “Yes, elder Yobaba, elder Yumi. I’ll be right back.” She said as she left the house.
For whatever reason she seemed to hesitate before leaving, but she did reluctantly leave. You’d think the slow pace she kept as she walked through the streets was another sign of reluctance. However, the powerful woman simply didn’t want to reveal too much in the village. She had to be the bodyguard and nothing more for now. Unfortunately, that was easier said than done because of the person she keeps running into. In fact, just a second before she got to Kakashi’s door the person appeared.
“Barb! My youthful beauty!” A man with bushy eyebrows and a large bouquet of roses exclaimed as he ran towards the Cave ninja.
“Gai, I see you’re as energetic-“ Barb was cut off when the flowers were shoved into her face. “They’re beautiful-“
“I know your duties as a bodyguard are your priority at this time! Will you please take these as a promise of my love?” Gai pleaded with hearts dancing in his eyes.
“I will, Gai. Thank you.” Barb said sweetly while letting the flowers hide her face so she could look towards the buildings and trees that surrounded Kakashi’s home.
Gai beamed, “Thank you, my youthful beauty! I will complete 100 laps around the village on my hands in preparation for a future date!” He exclaimed and bolted down the street before his beloved could even respond.
“I … I didn’t say anything about a date.” Barb muttered in disbelief. She was pulled out of her daze when she heard the door creak open and saw Kakashi poke his head out. “Lady Yobaba and Lady Yumi have requested your presence for dinner … does he ever calm down?”
Kakashi looked down the road as if to make sure Gai was gone before looking at her, “I’ve never been able to calm him down.” He looked into his home. “I’m going to head out to meet Yumi and Yobaba. Keep an eye on Naruko!” He called over his shoulder. When Tsunade and Jiraiya cheered back he closed the door and followed Barb back to the elders’ house.
“The weather isn’t as clear as it could be.” Barb muttered and yes there were clouds in the sky, but Kakashi knew she wasn’t talking about that.
After all, he also noticed the subtle presence of people watching his home. They were waiting to take the girl, who was inside the house …
