Ibiki ignores the itch in his hands. It’s cold with no gloves. He wants his gloves. It’s cold without any. They itch. His upper lip twitches and he glances down. The names are there alright. Nothing changed. Not on his hands.
He takes a deep breath and sighs. Nothing changed on his hands alright. But around him, everything changed. Iruka and Kakashi are sitting in his living room. On his couch. Sitting next to each other. Very close. Taking over his place, his home. His peace and quiet.
“You know, I think we need a bigger place. We need a room where we can fit a large bed.” Iruka sighs and leans onto Kakashi.
“We can always move towards the Hatake grounds.” The Copy nin is still reading his porn book.
“We could do that. There is a lot of space there, right?”
“There is.”
Ibiki sighs and shakes his head. He leans back in his kitchen chair and grabs his cup of coffee, taking a sip. Tomorrow he has a meeting with the council. And the day after, there is a meeting planned with all the Kages. Why he has to sit through a meeting like that is a question he cannot answer.
“Ibiki, do you have preferences?” Kakashi asks.
Ibiki swallows his coffee and looks up. He snorts and looks back at his cup again. “I don’t.” He has no preferences. He is not made for relationships. And certainly not with these men. He has no right to decide anything. Not even where to live.
Kakashi is standing next to him.
Ibiki doesn’t flinch. He doesn’t. He does wonder why Kakashi would use his Shinobi skills to appear next to him in the blink of an eye. It is not like the man needs to impress him.
“So you don’t care if you top of bottom? Do you want to be in the middle then?” Kakashi’s breath hits his ear. “Then I will pound into your ass, making you moan with every trust I give you. Iruka will be wrapped around your cock, tensing up underneath you.”
Ibiki averts his eyes towards Kakashi. His breath is stuck in his throat. He blinks and opens his mouth. “Excuse me?” he asks.
Kakashi leans in and kisses Ibiki’s ear. “You’re excused. I just want to find out how to pleasure you the most. That is all.” He straightens his back and pulls his porn out again. “We are going to move towards the Hatake compound.” He turns around. “You don’t have to do anything. I’ll take care of it all. It will take me some time. I’m not going to be able to do it tomorrow.”
Ibiki blinks and drinks the remaining coffee. This bonding thing, this relationship-thing. He is not made for it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Morino-sama, may I take a look at your hands?” It’s the Kage from Sand that asks the question first. Gaara-sama. The red haired boy with the word love tattooed on his forehead. Yesterday, at the meeting with the council, the others were afraid to even glance his way. Yesterday was better, compared to now. The members of his council respect him and they kept their questions to themselves.
Ibiki grits his teeth, but raises his hands. The boy blinks and studies it. “I don’t have a name on my skin yet. It seems that you were able to get two names onto your skin.” The boy looks up.
Ibiki resist the urge to pull his hands back. He simply nods. And ignores the itch in his hands.
The boy nods. “Congratulations, Morino-sama.” There is a smile on his lips and Ibiki blinks. “That is great news. I always hoped that Naruto’s sensei was able to find a soul mate. He is Naruto’s precious person.” The Kage turns around and returns to his seat.
Gaara-sama is not the only one to notice the names. Ibiki resists the urge to hide his hands several times. He is not allowed to do so. The Hokage peers at him every time he moves his hands. And he moves them a lot. They itch. Ibiki sighs. He will be glad when this meeting is over. And when those congratulations are done.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ibiki blinks. This is his apartment. Well, at least, it was when he left it this morning. His name is not next to the door. He frowns and peers through the window. It’s empty. He blinks. He walked out of this building this morning. Everything was intact then.
“Missing something?”
Ibiki doesn’t flinch. He doesn’t. He just lifts his gaze from his window to the woman next to him. Anko.
“Aren’t you supposed to be with your soul mate now?” he asks. He raises one of his eyebrows at her. She should be at Gai’s place. Unpacking things and stuff like that. That is what soul mates do. They live together after they find out that they are soul mates. It’s stated by law.
She giggles and shakes her head. “Gai already did all of that for me.” She looks towards the ceiling and sighs. A happy sigh. “You know, that is what soul mates do. Kind of. Everybody does it differently.” She sighs again. “They take care for each other.”
Ibiki blinks. He takes a look at his window again. That is what happened. He closes his eyes. Off course. That is what is going on. Kakashi and Iruka already moved his stuff from this place.
“Did you wanted to check it out one last time?” Anko asks. She takes a step towards him. “As a reminder of the past?”
He snorts. “I didn’t think they would be able to do the whole apartment in one day.” He shrugs.
“Ah, it is like that…” Anko brings a hand to her mouth and chuckles. “You have two of them. I think they will be able to handle you. And if they are able to handle you, they are able to handle this apartment.”
Ibiki turns his gaze towards her and raises one eyebrow.
She giggles. “Come on, admit it. You being a soul mate to a woman is a ridiculous thought. And you being the soul mate to only one of them is… kind of ridiculous as well. You need both of them.” She punches his arm. “Like they both need you.”
He narrows his eyes at her and steps aside.
“Don’t be like this, Ibiki. You know it. You may not be used to this but… it is like this now. You are their soul mate.”
Ibiki turns around. “I’m heading home.” he walks away.
“That is the spirit. Home it is. Tell them hi from me.”
He ignores her words. The Hatake grounds, now, where are they?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Hatake ground are easy to find. He just traced Hatake-san’s chakra. Well, Kakashi’s chakra. Nothing new there. He knows how to do that. The hard thing is to enter it. Part of him doesn’t want this. He wants to be alone. At his own place. Away from those two men. He isn’t made for relationships.
“Just walk in, Ibiki, you don’t need an invitation.” Iruka opens the door and smiles at him, stepping aside.
Ibiki hesitates. He doesn’t want this. But, it is getting cold outside. And the house looks warm. And his nose tells him there is something nice cooking. He grits his teeth, clenches his itching hands into fists and walks inside.
“It’s cold outside, right? Poor hands of yours.” The teacher grabs Ibiki’s hands, lifts them and places soft kisses on each one. “They’re used to be gloved all the time and now they have to be naked.” Iruka looks up and smiles with his eyes closed. “Walk towards the kitchen. It’s warm there. That will make you feel good.” He releases his hold and turns to close the door.
Ibiki walks towards the smell. He doesn’t want to, but then again, he is a Shinobi of Konoha and he needs to eat. He nods and continues his route, blinking as he reaches his destination.
That is his table. With his chairs. And, on top of the table, is his cup.
“I already made you a cup.” Iruka walks past him and stops at the stove. “You can warm your hands on that one.” He smiles and returns to cooking.
“Hello.” Kakashi walks past him, stops and takes a few steps back. He leans towards Ibiki and places a kiss onto his shoulder. “Warm yourself up. It must be cold outside.” He leans back, pulls his mask down and leans in again, this time placing a kiss on Ibiki’s cheek.
Ibiki holds his breath, not sure what he should say. Or how to react. Should he be saying anything? Should he be reacting? He pulls his chair back and sits down.
“I made a dish with mushrooms.” Iruka places plates onto the table, along with cutlery and glasses. “I hope you like it.” He smiles.
Ibiki places his hands around the cup and blinks. He really isn’t made for relationships. This is a strange situation. And he doesn’t like it. Really. Not one bit.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The kitchen table is his, like his chairs and the cups. The couch is from Iruka, he learns. And the coffee table comes from Hatake’s place. Everything in the house came from one of their homes. Everything, except the bed.
Ibiki swallows and stares at it.
It’s new. It’s big. And, as far as he can see, it’s fluffy as well.
Ibiki reaches a hand out and leans down, moving his hand over the covers.
It is soft.
He bites his lips. His own bed was hard. Not soft. It was simple, with plain covers, one pillow and nothing else. A bed is only used for sleeping. Nothing more. So it needs nothing more.
“How do you like it?” Iruka asks. He sits down on one end and pats on the bed. “I like it when my bed is a bit soft. Kakashi didn’t mind. He said something about sleeping on missions.” Iruka shrugs. He closes his eyes and drops back onto the bed.
“I said I am used to little comfort.” Kakashi walks in and drops his towel to the floor. His body is damp.
Ibiki widens his eyes.
Kakashi’s body is damp, his hair is wet and there are no clothes on his skin.
Ibiki averts his eyes towards the other side. They may be so called soul mates, but he is not going to check him out. No way. He is not even thinking about it. He is only thinking about the bed in front of him. Yes. He is wondering if he is able to sleep in it, when it is as soft as it looks.
Kakashi places his hands on Ibiki’s shoulders and pushes him. Ibiki blinks as he loses his balance. He moves his hands in front of him and lands on the bed.
Iruka chuckles and turns to him. He places a hand on Ibiki’s face. Onto the scars, and smiles. “You never answered my question.” He turns his body around and leans on one arm. “Do you like this bed?” He tilts his head to the side.
Ibiki turns his head away, hiding in his face in the sheets. “It’s fine,” he murmurs.
Kakashi slaps him on his ass and he tenses up. The Copy nin chuckles and Ibiki turns around, moving up and grabbing Kakashi’s hand, which is raised up in the air.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Ibiki asks. He narrows his eyes and grits his teeth. The Copy nin has no reason to slap his ass. It didn’t hurt. Not one bit. Well… It’s stings. Ibiki growls and grits his teeth again.
Kakashi stops his chuckling and tilts his head to the side. “I was waiting for that side of you to come to surface.” He pushes himself up a bit, bringing his face close towards Ibiki’s. “I had this weird feeling that you were suppressing yourself.” His mouth is advancing towards Ibiki’s mouth. “That you were holding back. There is no need to hold back.” He smiles. “I can handle you.”
Ibiki’s mouth goes dry. He takes a deep breath and lets it escape through his clenches teeth. “Fuck you.” He releases Kakashi’s hand and moves to the side, shaking his head. The man is only trying to get a rise out of him. Nothing more. He rises from the bed.
“Yes, please.” Kakashi gulps.
Ibiki stops. Blinks. Turns around and blinks again.
It sounded like there was a gasp in Kakashi’s voice. Like the man was offered something he wanted all along.
Ibiki moves his gaze towards Kakashi’s face. That mysterious face. He shouldn’t look at it. But it is blushing. Red. With a quivering lip.
“On this bed. With all the luxury there is. Now.” Kakashi points at the bed. “I don’t care how. But yes.” He sits on the bed and spreads his legs. “Fuck me.”
Ibiki widens his eyes. This can’t be real. The Copy nin, telling him to fuck him. It must be another way to get a rise out of him. Ibiki snorts and turns around. “I’m sleeping on the couch tonight.” He walks out of the room and shuts the door.
He is just not made for relationships.
