"Thanks Hinata-chan." Naruto said, and Hinata nodded her head as she said "You're welcome Naruto-kun. Now, why don't you tell me about your mission."
With that suggestion, Naruto began telling her about having to basically babysit a bunch of prissy nobles as they traveled the elemental nations, whining and complaining if anything was even slightly not to their ridiculously high standards or if they were even remotely inconvenienced. As he talked, Hinata sat beside him, listening to him while her eyes followed his cup as he occasionally took drinks from it.
As he finished his story, Naruto yawned into his fist as he said "Sorry Hinata-chan, I must be more tired than I thought."
"It's OK Naruto-kun. Why don't you lay on the couch and take a nap while I cook dinner." Hinata replied, and with a grateful nod Naruto gave Hinata his cup as she rose to her feet before laying on the couch.
Hinata watched as Naruto stilled, his breathing slowing and evening out as he drifted off to a sleep brought on by the drugs Hinata had slipped into his drink while making it for him.
