Chapter 2 :
Immediately he knew that something wasn’t right. He thought it was just the dream. The one where he woke up in another world. He moved around a little and let himself relax as he found he was still in his bed warm under his covers. He took his uneasy feeling as it being just the very real dream he had had. He turned over and was on the verge of going back to sleep when he felt something wet drop on his face. He sat up instantly his hand going to the wet stuff on his face. It was white. He looked up to see trees all around and in those trees were hundreds of birds, all looking down at him with interest and a little anger in their eyes for having their sleep disturbed. He looked around and saw that he was in a clearing in some sort of forest. In the dark. With no way of knowing where he was or how he got there. To say Naruto was a little scared was an understatement. He was terrified. A blood curdling scream erupted from his throat as he jumped out of bed and started running around the clearing. “ What the hell. Where am I?” he kept turning this way and that hoping to get some clue as to where he was or how he got there. He looked back toward his bed and saw that everything was there. There his bed stood blankets strewn everywhere as if he had a very fitful sleep. Next to the bed was his night stand his clock going haywire as if some kind of signal or something was messing with it. Next to his clock was his cell and it to was going haywire. Under his bed was his shoes and his clothes that he took off last night after the party. It was all there looking completely untouched. Then Naruto started to laugh. “ It’s a joke. HAHAHAHAHAHA. It has to be. Ok guys you can come out now.” “ Guys” his laughter died out. He turned around and saw nothing and no one coming out of the trees. He went to search the nearest trees looking around them and up in the branches. But he didn’t see not one of his friends. Not one of their smiling faces or hear any laughter at his expense. He returned to his bed panic seeping into his heart. He looked to his night stand and saw it. The little box that Sakura had given him sat there. It was glowing a faint red and it was open. “ No way. Its not possible.” he said as he picked up the box. As his hand closed around it there was a blinding white light and he felt himself being picked up and thrown. It lasted all of about a second. When the light subsided he could see he was no longer in the forest but a city. He had landed hard in the middle of a dirt road next to a statue of it looked like a family. There was a man with dark hair standing looking down. He held the hand of a beautiful woman also with dark hair. She stood their staring with a kind smile on her face at a child that sat at her feet. The child looked a little angry as if he didn’t want to be there but was forced to anyway. Next to him sitting on his knees was another child. He looked cold emotionless. His eyes stared right at Naruto as if he could see him and everything inside him. All in all the kid freaked him out. He turned around hoping to get the image of those eyes out of his mind. But he could still feel those eyes on his back as he walked away as if they were following his every move. So he sped up his pace getting away as fast as he dared. He turned a corner and saw that the street was full of shops. They had shops for everything it looked like, clothes, shoes, purses, weird eyeglass things where there was only one side dangling on a string, even horseshoes and animals, food and drinks, weapons. They even had one specializing in selling frogs. “ Tell me I didn’t get sent back in time or something. Come on where’s all the cars and shit.” he said turning to survey all the stalls and shops on the road. He turned another corner and ran into two people. Literally. He fell backward and landed on his ass. What’s worse is there was a big rock that he fell onto. This was just not his night. He looked up at the two people he ran into. TBC………… ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Ok this chapter was a little short. I apologize for that. But I hope you all enjoyed it.
