"Just deliver the package to the client, that is all, you don't know me or the client, your simply the messenger, they can pin nothing on you" she told her. She knew that for a fact, she knew the laws inside out and backwards, it was the many loopholes that allowed her to function as she did without any repercussions from the council. The man nodded to her reassurance, looking calmer, before walking out of the way she had come in as she took a different exit.
It was a dangerous game, especially when making the drops yourself, but there were enough people around who needed money to serve as couriers. She had experienced one of them trying to skip out on her and sell the contents of the package himself; he had conveniently disappeared a few days later and since then she'd had no more problems with the couriers she used.

A few minutes later and there was a knock on the door. Naruko moved over to it and looked out
