The accents in the room were all various shades of blue and there were even some oranges. French doors separated the living room from the balcony that offered an amazing view of the city – the best Konoha had to offer.

“Do you want another drink or something?” she asked after slipping her shoes off, leaning up against the wall beside the door.

Staring out at the night sky, Sasuke just nodded, his mind a whirlwind of thought. Could Naruto’s dad really pull it off? Well, the blond was right about one thing, his father would not be stupid enough to refuse a higher paying offer. With a possible solution to his problems practically handed to him... Sasuke felt a bit guilty, almost like he was using Naruto to get out of the situation he was in. But of course that wasn’t true at all. He genuinely liked and cared about the blond and if they were to marry to close the deal on the merge then... Sasuke knew he wouldn’t mind one bit.

Naruto lay there, imagining what his life would be like if he were to marry Sasuke. He honestly couldn’t find one problem with it. He was actually a lonely person… He didn’t date much, because it was difficult to keep his gender swapping an issue when involved with someone. But Sasuke knew, and he didn’t care. It would be perfect for both of them.

“Goodnight, Sasuke,” he whispered, letting his eyes drift shut. Within moments he’d fallen asleep, with a small smile etched on his face.
