The animal shelter was in no way small, it was like a mansion for homeless, abused, and abandoned animals, the Uchiha family ran the shelter lead by the head of the family was Itachi, the city contacted them about different animal abuse cases, and people would call to report abuse cases or abandonment, when they got over run they would call small personal rescues to take in dogs, cats, or birds that were adoptable, but scheduled to be euthanized, but this was the first time they would even consider a fighting dog to be released out of their care. Naruto knocked on the office and waited until he heard the deep sooth voice of Itachi telling him to enter, Naruto walked in slowly and blushed bowing to the man, Itachi may have been his brother in law, but the man was still his boss
“Itachi… Sir… I have a f-favour to ask” Itachi looked up from his paper work and frowned, he had a soft spot for the blonde, and would easily give him anything he wanted, though Itachi would torment the blonde before giving it to him, he couldn’t look weak to anyone, he sat back in his chair crossing his arms
“Speak”
“It’s about… that silver dog we picked up in the fighting ring bust I was wondering if-“
“No” Itachi said in a flat voice, he was trying to find a way to find the dog a home, anywhere to keep him alive, and was going to offer to give the blonde the dog, making up some kind of an excuse to not wanting to waste any more medical supple on the dog, But if Naruto was asking, he would get pleasure from the blonde begging him, he so did enjoy getting what he wanted
“What?... Please Itachi! Please! I got a rescue who will take him and rehabilitate him!” Itachi leaned forward his elbows resting on the table, his hands covering the smirk from Naruto’s view
“I get reimbursed every time I get rid of those dogs, what will I get from just letting him go to a rescue for free?” Naruto tensed and shook glaring at Itachi, he had to remind himself that Itachi was his boss, and his brother in law, or he’d have hit him, Naruto’s fists began to shake
“You get the knowledge you saved an innocent life?”
“I look like I care about that? What are you willing to give me Naruto?” Naruto bit his lip, he closed his eyes and sighed rubbing his eyes. Naruto’s father and mother were not so nice people, well his father anyways, Naruto father was sexually abusive towards the blonde, and physically abusive to Naruto’s mother, and Naruto’s mother Minato, had died in an accident one rainy night when Naruto was five, Naruto’s father Kyuubi had begun to abuse the boy worse than he ever had before, blaming Naruto for his mother’s death, finally social services stepped at age eight in and took the child to foster care, where Naruto had bounced from home to home, when Naruto turned fifteen he was taken in by the Uchiha family, and fell in love with Sasuke, but Itachi obviously had a thing for the blonde, Naruto bit his lip and sighed
“I’ll kiss you” Itachi raised an eye brow, he smirked sitting back in his chair patting his lap
“Come, we’ll discuss this further” Naruto sighed walking over to Itachi, he shifted and blushed when he was pulled into the man’s lap, he shook his head blushing
“Itachi stop messing around, Sasuke’s going to kill me”
“You should just leave him; I can give you anything your heart desires”
“Give me the silver dog Kakashi” Itachi sighed shaking his head letting the blonde go
“Fine, take him, I would hate to waste any more medicine and food on him” Naruto beamed, he kissed Itachi’s cheek before running out of the office and down the stairs, a small dance in his step as he did so, Itachi wasn’t a bad guy, he just had a rough spot that only Naruto could see past, Naruto smirked at Kiba and lead him to the back, he knelt by the kennel and smiled
“Isn’t he great?!” Kiba tensed looking into those mismatched eyes, he backed up slowly nodding
“Yea… Sure… He kinda looks scary as hell…” Naruto frowned at Kiba and sighed
“No…. He’s pretty…. He just needs to be taught not to attack other dogs… And I’m sure he’ll find a good home”
“Naruto… I am not making any promises on finding him a good home; I will take him in though I will train him” Naruto smiled softly
“That’s all I ask”

Naruto glared at Kiba and twitched, the man was a lying sack of shit! He said he’d take the dog, and train him, yet here he was two days later, at Naruto’s house covered in band aids and wraps
“I can’t even get near him! How the hell am I supposed to train him!?” Naruto sighed rubbing his eyes letting the Inuzuka man in, Sasuke would be pissed knowing the two were alone together in the same house ALONE. Naruto was not the perfect husband, he did have sexual flings with friends, but it was never something he enjoyed, it was a mental snap he had, every few months he would NEED someone, and if Sasuke was out of reach, Naruto would get the closest person and let them take his body, it had caused a lot of problems for him, when Sasuke had thought it was Naruto just sleeping around, but then he’d witnessed it first hand, Naruto was not Naruto, he was a lifeless doll, and it scared Sasuke.
Kiba looked around the house wearily, he knew he was here, he always was, Kiba tensed looking back hearing the growl
“Iruka, come on chill out, he has yet to touch me” the brown and white husky stopped and slowly walked to Naruto licking his hand, his tail wagging, Kiba relaxed and sighed, Iruka was given to Naruto when the dog had come into the shelter under an abused case, he was a stray puppy found with his paws taped together, and a wire around his mouth to stop any noise from escaping his mouth, the wire had been wrapped around his muzzle for so long it dug into the flesh and left a horrible scar, Sasuke had brought the puppy home when Naruto first started having the mental problem hoping some kind of other being in the house would calm the blonde down, it helped in a way because Iruka would attack anyone who stepped foot in the house when Naruto was like that, Iruka proved to be a good mother hen for Naruto
“Look Naruto I can’t keep him at my rescue.. I got too many dogs that are scared of him… and people refuse to come and visit to adopt dogs if he is there…”
“What are you getting at?!”
“Naruto... you gotta take him”
