Chapter 3

Kiba had returned back from his mission out of the leaf village later that evening, and was walking through the village sniffling around because he wanted to find Neji. Though as he neared the Hyuuga side of the village he could smell more then just Neji’s sent that was always fresh as it seemed he took the same way home everyday.

Kiba stood on the roof of the last cable that Neji had ridden and could smell Neji’s blood from where he stood on the corner. He was really worried and he gave a little dog whimper. He slid down this cable to the top of the wall. Kiba managed to flip over the tall wall without being seen he could smell no one else was around. Kiba landed on the ground silently he crawled on all fours toward the hut where Neji’s blood flooded his nose.

Kiba came to the window and peered in through it, he saw to his horror Neji laying under the shower spray with crimson blood swirling all about his body . His long hair was caked around his back his eyes were closed. Kiba didn’t think anymore his mate instinct kicked in he pushed open the window and climbed in and dropped soundlessly down onto the matt under the window.

Kiba crawled over to Neji . Still on his hands and feet, Kiba could smell the rank sent of others mating it made his nose twitch. Kiba looked down at Neji’s fair almost blue face. It turned this color from the icy water that was splashing down onto his body. Kiba place his hand on Neji’s shoulder he felt his ice cold flesh it seemed he was dead but Kiba could smell his breath and hear it. Also he could hear Neji’s heart beating. Kiba reached up and turned off the shower spray. Then he nuzzled Neji trying to get him to wake up he nudged him on his cheek.

“Come on Neji,” Kiba didn’t even notice he had tears welling in his eyes. “Wake up,” he said softly and then he picked Neji’s curled up body up and cradled him into his arms. Trying to give the pale boy some of his own warmth.

Neji was shivering and had been coming in and out of cold dreams. Hearing laughter and voices of men. Then it seemed to all fall silent. He drifted into some dark silent place where there was nothing. Nothing but darkness. Then there was a green flicker of light which appeared to be far off in the distance looked like a green fluttering dove. Then the dove turned into a green light that seemed to pierced through the darkness it hit Neji in the forehead then spread over his face making it look like a glowing pale green.

“Wake Up Neji,” Neji heard a faint voice tell him. “Come on Neji wake up.” Neji heard the same gruff voice say again though it wasn’t a voice he had ever been excepting. Neji opened his eyes at first he was un sure of just what he was looking at since they were a bit out of focus. All he could see was a brown blurry furry ring bending over him then he blinked his eyes. “That is it,” Kiba smiled or Neji saw Kiba smiling at him as everything came back into focus.

Neji frowned now up at the dog nin, “Kiba shouldn’t you be out on your mission? What are you doing here and why are you in my hut?” Neji wondered feeling confused and then as he woke up more the screaming pains of his back came rushing over his body like hot molten lava he hissed.

“I am not on my mission anymore, I came to find you once it was over and try my luck again.” Kiba explained to Neji as he held him close to his body trying to keep him warm with his own body. “I saw that you were fainted in the shower which is a very dangerous place to be. Luckily I came by or you might have died.” Kiba said in a husky tone not wanting to think of such things. “I think you need to go to the hospital can you even move?” Kiba wondered to Neji and planted a warm kiss on the middle of Neji’s forehead.

Which Neji then realized that Kiba had just kissed his curse mark that was being bared for all to see. Even if all was Kiba this was something he wouldn’t want Kiba to see just yet. He quickly sat up from Kiba’s arms and rubbed his forehead.

“Oh No you have seen my bird cage swastika,” Neji’s voice trembled he managed to stand up his head was swimming and it ached majorly. He looked around for his cap which he found laying next to a blood stain which came from his face he pulled it back on over his green curse mark he looked over at Kiba who had a very worried look on his face.

“Well if it really matters babe I really don’t care if you have anything on your forehead or not,” Kiba said standing up and walking toward him.

“Yeah well maybe I care it’s a mark of shame,” Neji replied “mark of a slave to the Hyuuga clan.” Neji explained. “I don’t like anyone knowing that I am a weakling when everyone thinks I am so strong. I am strong and I will prove it one day.” Neji was shaking uncontrollably from the cold and blood loss. Kiba removed his coat and put it over Neji’s shoulders to try and keep him from shivering too much.

“Yes you are a very strong Ninja I agree, I fought with you and you proved that. I think right now I need to take you to the hospital you have lost way to much blood.” Kiba told Neji who would have protested but he fainted into Kiba’s arms. Kiba then pulled on Neji’s shorts to cover his behind so it would be protected .

Kiba then scooped Neji up bridle style and went out the back window and walked to the wall and walked up it then slid across the cable cord. Neji didn’t seem to be a burden to the very strong dog boy.

He got Neji to the hospital Kiba told the doctor that the wounds came from some evil men who attacked Neji . Who had done bad things to him. Kiba didn’t say he found him in the Hyuuga Clan’s property so that Neji’s uncle wouldn’t get too pissed off. He wondered if this was a good idea anyways at the moment the caring mate inside didn’t give a shit and told the doctor that his uncle told him to bring Neji in since he was too busy with other matters.

Now Kiba sat next to Neji’s bed where he lay sleeping with his head cap still on Kiba asked for it to remain. Out of respect for Neji’s pride, since most of it had been raped away as it was. Kiba thought he’d at least do this much for the young dark haired beauty.

Kiba ran a hand over Neji’s that was resting up next to his pillow he leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. Then brushed a strand of hair out of Neji’s face he kissed him again, Akamaru gave a warning moan and Kiba sat up in his chair.

Kiba had stayed with Neji the entire night, the hospital door was flung open with rage and there stood Mr. Hyuuga. Akamaru growled from the end of Neji’s bed his little hairs on his shoulders stood up and he bared his teeth.

Kiba stood up quickly and turned around looking at the tall Hyuuga male who strode into the room and grasped Kiba by his coat and hauled him off the ground. “What right do you have coming into our property and kidnapping Neji!?” Mr. Hyuuga yelled and shook Kiba back and forth.

Guy Sensei had rushed into the scene as well when he had heard word that Neji was in the hospital his worst fear coming true. “Mr. Hyuuga unhand Kiba right now.” He demanded of the leader of the Hyuuga clan.

Mr. Hyuuga looked over at Guy who seemed to be very firm in what he was saying. He didn’t really feel like beating up a kid in front of another adult. Just as Guy entered into the room so did Kiba’s Sensei Kurenai. The Hogake had given her a mission to come and make sure that Kiba was alright.

“Why are you strangle holding my student by his coat?” Kurenai wondered crossing her arms and tapping her foot. “Shouldn’t you be relived that your nephew is safe in the hospital and it is thanks to Kiba for bring him here?” She wondered.

Mr. Hyuuga scowled and set Kiba down, “well what he has done was none of the villages concern it is a Clan Matter.”

“Is the Hyuuga clan no longer part of the Leaf Village is that what you saying Mr. Hyuuga!?” Guy wondered cocking a brow. “Last I knew you were still a part of this village correct me if I am wrong?”

Mr. Hyuuga was stoned faced to the Senseis, “I will not discuss this with the likes of you. If this must be such a great issue we can take it up with the Hogake. Then you can see that you shouldn’t mettle in other Clan’s affairs.” Mr. Hyuuga said glaring down at Kiba then looked over at Neji with so much hate as if this was all his fault. “I have every right to do with my lower branch of the family as I see fit! In fact I should just kill him right here for being such a….”

Before Mr. Hyuuga could finish his words Kiba leapt up and kicked him square in the middle of his back. Making the tall man fall face first to the ground. Both Guy and Kurenai where a bit surprised by Kiba’s swift actions against Mr. Hyuuga. “I will never let you do that!” Kiba growled in his ear dark and lowly before Mr. Hyuuga stood up and reached behind him and threw Kiba toward the Senseis.

“You little brat!” Mr. Hyuuga fumed and just to spite them even more he turned again to Neji. “I can do with him what I will and you can’t stop me!” Mr. Hyuuga snapped his eyes focused on Neji’s forehead even if it was covered.

Neji laying in his peaceful slumber was awaken it seemed by his world being caught on green fire it felt like his brain was being scrambled. He reeled around in his bed as his body was being tormented and his brain was seeming to be squeezed. Neji sat up on his knees and grabbed his temples and screamed blood started to ooze from his ears.

Guy Sensei this time was able to move swift enough since Mr. Hyuuga was to distracted. He karate chopped Mr. Hyuuga on his neck, making the man’s knees buckle and he fainted causing the mind fucking to come to a halt swiftly.

Though Neji’s body was still twitching and his brain was tingling he had some blood oozing from his nose. Kiba rushed over in time to catch Neji before he fell off the bed. The nurses and the Doctor ran in to see that there patient was being tormented right in there hospital. “Get that man out of here!” The doctor order Guy who was gladly obliging with the help of Kurenai.

The Doctor and nurse lay Neji back down. Though they had to do a heart reading test to make sure that it was still beating healthy and gratefully enough it still was. They would keep Neji on the heart monitor for now. Also they put mind scanners on either side of Neji’s temples under his cap to watch his levels of activity so they could make sure there wasn’t going to be any long lasting damage done from his evil uncle.

Once the doctor and nurse were happy they left. Kiba scooted his chair up and took hold of Neji’s hand. Neji lay there staring at the ceiling now on his back. “I won’t let him kill you Neji,” Kiba said firmly, “I’ll guard you and I’ll keep you safe.”

Neji gripped hold of Kiba’s hand he was still feeling a bit clammy from the mind fucking, he refused to take medication that would be mind altering. Neji would focus on how to heal his own wounds with will power over medication. It hurt so much though his ears were still ringing and his head was tingling from the top of his forehead down to the end of his chin.

“Thank you Kiba,” Neji managed to speak finally it took him a few tries to form words after having his brain scrambled like that it was kind of hard to make his brain say what he was thinking.

Kiba leaned in and nuzzled Neji on his cheek and kissed him on his neck. Kiba gave him a licking that made Neji press his neck into the warm wet tongue. Neji’s body was already responding nicely now to Kiba’s affections. After all he did save his life, Neji always showed much respect for those who were stronger then him. Though Kiba was stronger than him, he knew Kiba would never hurt him. The licking on his neck seemed to distract from the pains running through his mind.

Kiba sat up, enjoying Neji’s taste on his tongue a moment before speaking. “I don’t want you living with the Hyuuga Clan anymore I want you to come live with me where I can watch over you.” Kiba said crossing his arms. “I’ll ask my sister but I am sure she’ll say ok.” Kiba nodded and gave him a sexy smirk that made Neji feel good.

“Hmn well I don’t think it will be that simple,” Neji felt the fuzz in his head relenting like the tide falling back into the ocean. “I am still under my Uncles Rule even if you took me to the hospital I highly doubt I will be aloud to move in with you that easily. I am sure it will all come down to what the Hogake decides. I am sure he’ll side with my Uncle, as My Uncle has a lot of power in this village. It is a written rule that clans members may make up their own laws so long as it deals strictly with our clan and no one else.” Neji sighed as Kiba put his palm on Neji’s face and rubbed Neji on his cheek.

“Damn this is so fucked up,” Kiba sighed and he leaned in and kissed Neji on the lips this time he was happy to feel Neji kiss him back. Neji reached up and gripped hold of Kiba’s jacket. Kiba slipped his tongue into Neji’s mouth. Neji moaned pleasantly. Kiba gave a cute little needy whimper. “I want to save you so badly.” Kiba whispered over Neji’s lips as Neji leaned in and kissed Kiba lightly he found he enjoyed the dog boy’s lips against his.

“Kiba I don’t want you to get hurt,” Neji tells Kiba “also you saw what happens when people try to help me. My uncle he’ll only torment me.” Neji sighed sadly as Kiba gave Neji a chaste kiss on the lips. It seemed now that they started kissing they couldn’t stop or didn’t want to.

“I know it pisses me off, what can we do Neji?” Kiba wondered running his thumb softly over Neji’s cheek.

“I have to become stronger in my mind, much stronger then my uncle, then I’ll have to kill him then only then will I truly be free. There is nothing the Hogake can do for me this is a Hyuuga clan matter I am afraid this is my destiny. No one stopped my uncle from killing my father. No one will stop my uncle from killing me. The only one who can truly stop him is me or someone could murder him. Though either way I want to be the one to watch his last breath go from his lips.” Neji said with a very firm determined look in his eyes. “This also I know is my path and I will fallow it or die in the processes.”

“Well then I’ll do what I can to help your mind become stronger. Perhaps the Hogake can allow you some kind of enlightenment mission where you will become stronger in the mind?” Kiba wondered and kept petting Neji on his face minding his bruises. Though he didn’t want Neji to die in the processes so he’d do what he could to make it so Neji would win though of course he didn’t know what that would be.

“Hmn perhaps that is if my uncle won’t lock me up in jail, and refuse to allow me to be a ninja anymore. Since I am under age he still has control over me. Actually no matter how old I get and as long as he lives there will be no escape for me.” Neji said feeling so frustrated at this endless loop they were going on.

“I understand all of that with your uncle,” Kiba growled frustrated as well. “But he can’t stop you from being a Ninja no one can. You already were sworn into it and I don’t think the Hogake would allow that at least?”

“Hmn I think we shall see once my uncle talks with him Kiba,” Neji sighed and closed his eyes he could hold them open any longer. “For now I need to rest I feel so worn out from that last mind fucking he did to me.” Neji said a bit breathlessly before he nodded off to sleep without another word.

Kiba remained by his side like a good watch dog.
