Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or any of its characters. I make no money from writing this |
Okay
guys and girls I'm not entirely sure as of yet but this might maybe become
MPreg. Never written anything like that before so when the time comes I’ll see
how comfortable I am with it and go from there. And to any of you who are
reading Admitting the Truth I'm sorry I haven’t put the next chapter up yet, I
never thought writing about sex would be so hard (no pun intended…maybe).
Also in
this fic everyone is about 18ish years old.

Sasuke
had tried to tell himself that he wasn’t nervous, that every step he took
through the forest wasn’t causing his stomach to twist into ever tighter knots
and just as it seemed his denial was winning the gates of Konoha came into view
and all the progress he had made came crashing down around him.
“Our
ANBU escort just increased by seven,” Karin said quietly, using the opportunity
to lean a little closer to the Uchiha, “bringing it to eighteen in total.”
“Not
that any of them are all that worried about us,” Suigetsu snorted with a
pointed look in Sasuke’s direction.
The
raven however, barely registered Suigetsu’s remark as he calculated his chances
of escaping from this situation and cursed himself for not listening to his
urges that had been telling him to kill the eleven members of ANBU surrounding
them and make his escape before the extras showed up.
Still
that didn’t mean he couldn’t still kill the now eighteen strong force, it would
just be a lot harder and he could only imagine the number of reinforcements
stationed inside the village for when they actually got there. No, taking that
factor into account here was no hope of a successful escape now, at least not
with his team intact. The word overkill vaguely came to mind.
“Of
course their only worried about Sasuke,” Karin said as she sneered at Suigetsu,
“we’re nothing compared to him.”
Suigetsu
huffed and shifted his sword, “speak for yourself.”
“That’s enough;”
Sasuke said icily, “this situation is risky enough without the two of you
distracting me with your pointless bickering. If you keep it up it won’t be the
blades of the ANBU you’ll have to worry about, it will be mine.”
Karin
shut up immediately in respect of the Uchiha’s “awesomeness” and Suigetsu
mumbled impudently to himself for a few more minutes before Sasuke shot him
another glare that promised lots of pain, and not the kind that he would enjoy.
Morons, Sasuke thought offhandedly, when will they learn the fact that there is
a time and a place for them to be at one another’s throats and that now
certainly isn’t-
Sasuke
paused in his internal rant as he felt a familiar chakra approach them from the
dense trees to the left and he immediately felt a headache begin to bloom behind
his eyes that only increased as the signature got closer and then it was on top
of them and the Uchiha had to resist the urge to rub his temples.
“I must
admit Sasuke, you’ve grown quite a bit since I last saw you,” that same mask,
same casual tone and same perverted orange book that to Sasuke’s surprise was
actually green. Yep it was Kakashi, “I'm here to take you to the Hokage but first
you’ll have to put these on.”
The
silver haired jonin tossed the group a bundle of cloth each that turned out to
be cloaks so they could hide themselves and move through the village unnoticed.
It would just look like Kakashi was escorting some random people, not an S-rank
criminal and his companions
“Oh and
that sword there,” said Kakashi almost as an afterthought while he poked a slender
gloved finger at Suigetsu, “you’ll have to hand it over before we get into the
village.”
Suigetsu
took a step back and bared his teeth at Kakashi in a vain attempt to be
menacing, “You just want us unarmed and vulnerable.”
“No I
just don’t want Naruto or Sakura to see that weapon and realise what it is and
I'm sure Sasuke here agrees with my decision,” Kakashi gave the shark boy his
own menacing look, “you’ll get it back once we reach the Hokage tower but don’t
act like it belongs to you. I know whose grave you took that from and if it was
up to me I’d have it returned instantly.”
Kakashi
watched as Suigetsu caved and gave up the fight, slowly handing the sword over
to an ANBU who had appeared beside him but he was far from done with belittling
the boy yet, “carrying that blade doesn’t make you a swordsmen it just makes
you a grave robber, a pathetic thief in the eyes of every shinobi who knows
where that blade truly belongs.”
“Suigetsu
has proven himself worthy enough of that sword, at least to me anyway,” Sasuke
said as he pulled up the hood of the cloak Kakashi had given him, “besides he
couldn’t be that bad a swordsman if he is still alive whereas Zabuza is dead.”
Kakashi
quirked an eyebrow as he began moving toward the gates, “you condone him carrying
that weapon?”
“I never
said that,” Sasuke said as he watch Karin try to help Juugo cover himself with
the poultry piece of cloth while she gingerly sniffed at her own covering, “I
would prefer that he carried Kisame’s weapon since he went through all that
trouble of getting it but he seems content to let it rot in a “safe” hole
somewhere in Mist while he continues to nurture the connection he has with this
blade, I believe he has become quite attached.”
“You
know Sasuke, I don’t think I’ve ever heard you talk so much, maybe it’s not
just your height that’s changed,” Kakashi focused his attention to the gates
before them, “I suppose I should tell you now so it’s not so much of a shock
and you don’t end up doing something stupid and hurt his feeling with you
reaction, but there’s something you need to know about Naruto.”
One of
Sasuke’s eyebrows disappeared behind a bang; he certainly hadn’t expected to
hear about the blonde, at least not so early in returning and Kakashi’s words
had him interested, “The dobe? What happened?”
Kakashi
reached up and scratched at his mask as he thought about how to broach the
delicate subject, “Well you see he’s…kind of changed too.”
***
Slender
fingers ran through his hair and Naruto momentarily lost sight of the clouds he
had been watching as his eyelids slipped closed against his will.
Really
he couldn’t fathom as to why he was so tired, he hadn’t even realised the
extent of his exhaustion until he had agreed to watch the clouds with
Shikamaru, but as soon as they had laid back in the grass together his fatigue
had made itself known with a vengeance and the fox had found it increasingly difficult
to keep his eyes open, let alone keep up with the lazy teens slow drawl of a conversation.
Still he
suspected Shikamaru had realised that though so he wasn’t too worried about the
Nara getting upset if he were to fall asleep while they were hanging out, after
all he did it all the time but Shikamaru’s lack of energy was expected where as his was
not.
Naruto
curled into a ball at the brunettes side in an attempt to get more comfortable
and sighed happily when he hand on his head migrated to softly scratch at one
of his large ears.
Peace; that
was what he always managed to find here, atop the Hokage monument. It was his
one of his favourite places in the whole of Konoha, coming a close second to
Ichirakus and it used to be his own personal retreat when all he wanted was to
be left alone. Recently however it had changed when his friends decided he
spent to much time by himself and since then it had become a place for all of
them to escape and he had nicknamed it the “peace and quiet hill” even though
it wasn’t a hill nor was it particularly quiet most of the time, well that was
what Neji always said to him anyway.
A small
crinkle formed in the blonde’s brow as he thought about Neji. Of all of his
friends the beautiful Hyuga had been the most surprising in his reaction to the
situation in the fact that he had become incredibly protective.
It
didn’t really bother him though, all his friends had reacted in their own
different ways and he was just glad that none of them had rejected him like he
had been expecting them to. Plus he had to admit that he kind of liked the
attention, it was nice to always have someone there after being alone all the
time and Neji was never unkind to him, even though his silence became annoying
at some points and the blonde was left wondering if he was really listening
when they spent time together.
Kakashi
had laughed at him when he had first told the jonin that he was afraid of what
his friends might think of his new additions. He had pointed out the fact that
they were all ninja and dealt with strange things on a daily basis, and that
they themselves with their variety of jutsu were not exactly the most normal
people out there.
No, it
wasn’t his friends that were the problem, Naruto reasoned as his thoughts became
darker, it was the shinobi that didn’t know him and the civilian population of
Konoha that were the real problem and one of the founding reasons for the
Hyuga’s new protective side.
Yep that was it, he was just
being paranoid, and today was a great day. He had woken up on time to find that
the milk in in fridge didn’t expire until the next day and then he had, had a
fantastic time training with Sakura who had given him the news that after
extensive- and very annoying- medical testing, Tsunade had finally cleared him
for missions again and they were to leave on a new one sometime during the next
week.
Not only that but it was a
beautiful day too, the blonde realised as he walked down the street staring up
at the sky. Shika’s
love of clouds has rubbed off on me, Naruto
thought gently as he cranked his neck a little more but was still careful to
keep his hood up to hide his ears from the others in the street.
Maybe that was why he didn’t
notice the small group of ninja following him until they were on top of him,
cutting off his exit and surrounding him while people on the street looked on
in vicious amusement and lifted no hand to help him.
“What do you want?” the blonde
questioned warily as he watched a few civilians join the group. That made the
situation difficult as he was a trained shinobi and could not harm a
non-combatant of the village, it was the law and he could never use the excuse
of self-defence due to prejudice.
“Is it true?” One of the older
ninja’s asked. The man was just as tanned as he was and his ninja headband was
wrapped around a thick bicep and his mess shirt did little to hide the raw
power he possessed. Somewhere in the back of his mind the blonde thought that
the man would be attractive if his eyes weren’t so cold but as it were, “Are
you really that thing now?”
Naruto blinked owlishly at the
man for a few moments as he processed the situation. They knew? But How? None
of his friends would ever have let the information slip. Naruto knew that the
general populace would find out gradually but he had expected it to be under
far more controlled circumstances.
There was still so much hate for
him in this place despite everything that he had done for them and he should
have seen that now it was only going to get so much worse.
“I'm as much the Kyuubi as I have
always been, if not less so since his consciousness no longer exists,” Naruto
knew they wouldn’t believe it but it was a start, “if you don’t believe me than
talk to the Hokage, she’ll give you all the information you desire and need, so
please let me pass.”
Naruto moved to push past the
shinobi in front of him but the man stood his ground and reached out to grab
his arm in a bruising grip before shoving him back into the centre of the
circle, “ we all know that the Hokage would say anything to protect you so what
does her opinion really matter. We’ll just deal with you now.”
“You know I can’t harm civilians
but I can harm you,” Naruto growled and his tail twitched annoyingly in the
confines of his pants, “are you sure you want to take that chance with your
bodies.”
“Are you sure you want to chance
a civilian getting in the way?” the man replied. He seemed to be the leader of
the small group of shinobi and Naruto could see the pleasure he took in
cornering him reflected in his dark eyes.
The man seemed to take his silence
as an answer as the next thing he knew pain was blossoming in his jaw and he
was shoved back into the middle of the circle from behind since he had stumbled
from the unexpected blow to his face.
The blonde’s heart broke as he
heard a few cheers go up around him but he crushed the ache in his chest and
focused on the situation at hand. Most of his jutsu were off limits since he
didn’t want to kill anyone and he couldn’t use shadow clones since the
civilians now outnumbered the shinobi and his taijutsu skills were just not
good enough to deal with a group of this size on his own and again the civilian
issue came up.
With all of those things
considered Naruto decided there was only one thing he could do. He would have
to take it, take the beating and hope they didn’t do too much damage. The
option of running never even occurred to him. Running was not in the Uzumaki’s
vocabulary.
The next hit was delivered to his
stomach and his knees buckled as the unhindered blow connected just below his
ribs, thanking his lucky star that it wasn’t higher up because a hit like that
would have shattered ribs, but before he had a chance to hit the dirt someone
grab the hood he wore to cover his ears and yanked it down roughly, eliciting
shocked gasps and outraged cries from the crowd around them.
“See this is what we mean,”
yelled the shinobi that had pulled down his hood as he threw him to the ground,
“you’re not even human anymore, you were always a monster but now it’s out
there for everyone to see.”
Naruto whimpered as the man
advanced and closed his eyes tightly as his large hand came down, preparing for
the blow to strike his face but he soon felt the hand land on one of his ears
and panic raced through his as it was twisted roughly and used to lever him
onto his feet.
The blonde couldn’t help the
pained cry that escaped him as a particularly viscous tug was delivered to his
ear, it felt as if the man were trying to pull it straight off but luckily he
was soon realised but when he reached up to cradle the aching burning cartilage
another blow was delivered and this time his ribs did give way.
He didn’t really know what
happened then after that, all he knew was the feel of the beating. Once he hit
the ground the beating continued and he knew that some of the civilians had joined
in, there were just too many fists for them to have not and he felt a lot of
the blows glance off his body too, unskilled with no real aim, just intent to
injure.
It ended quickly though when the
party saw that he wasn’t going to try and defend himself or fight back, when he
didn’t scream or beg for mercy. What was the point if he wasn’t going to cry
for them and grovel like the beast that he was. It was boring and not what they
wanted, they wanted his pain, wanted to hear it, not just witness it. Without
the sound of screams and tears it was not the same.
The group dissipated, returning
their duties and their lives as if they hadn’t just committed a horrible crime
against him, monsters and demons had no rights and the blonde dragged himself
into a nearby alleyway where he knew people would leave him alone, if only to
give him a chance to heal so they could beat into his perfect body again.
He was only there for a few
minutes that to him felt like hours when someone landed in front of him, tan
sandals interrupting his view of the filthy ground of the alley.
“Naruto what happened to you,”
the voice was light and gentle and he recognised it instantly, “Kiba and I have
been looking for you for some time now, I can’t believe I had to resort to the
Byakugan in order to find you.”
“N-Neji,” Naruto whispered as he
tried to move, feeling pain spear through his body from his broken ribs and
making him stutter his words, “will you come with me to the ho-hosptal. I don’t
want them to-to find me alone again.”
Neji knelt before the blonde and
gently reached a hand up to one of his ears, it was floppy and twisted, missing
some of the dark strawberry blonde fur that covered it and his pale eyes
widened when Naruto flinched away from him and curled back against the wall,
“Naruto who did this to you?” Neji asked as he reactivated his bloodline trait
to see just how badly his friend was injured, “when did this happen?”
“Just before,” Naruto said hiding
his face and the tears that were beginning to sting his eyes as he tried to
hold them back, “I was w-walking home after train-training when-” Naruto felt
the tears spill over then and he reached up to his ear with a sob as he glanced
at the entrance to the alley, “t-they…broke it.”
Neji followed his line of sight
and saw a few people standing at the entrance to the alley, trying to look as if
they weren’t interested or didn’t know what was going on but the Hyuga saw the
malicious glee in their faces as they heard the fox’s sob echo loudly in the
dingy little street.
Neji reached over and carefully
pulled Naruto’s hood back up, settling it around his face while being mindful
of his wounded ear while giving him his best attempt at a smile, “I’ll be right
back Naruto, just wait here and then I’ll take you straight to Tsunade then we’ll
get you to bed.”
He left the blonde then and went
to the entrance of the alley, not bothering to deactivate his Byakugan and
walked up to an older shinobi who didn’t seem the least bit interested in
hiding his joy over the situation, “who did that to his ear?” better to get
straight to the point.
“You aren’t worried about the
rest of his injuries?” the man was smug and the Hyuga could tell he had, had a
significant hand in the beating of his friend.
“The majority of his wounds are
internal and will not cause him pain once they are healed,” Neji said in his
quiet voice, “it is the superficial wounds which often bring the most pain,”
the pale eyed Hyuga resisted the urge to reach up and touch his head band at
that point, knowing all too well how badly superficial hurt when they were left
to fester, “still I know you may not want to give up your comrade in this but
take this into account. I know you had a hand in this. You cannot hope to hide
it from me and if I do not find the one responsible for his ear I will exact
the revenge he deserves but will not seek upon you.”
The tanned ninja paled, clearly
knowing that though he was tall and muscle bound that he was no match for the
young man before him, “his name is Agito Miyomo, I'm sure you don’t need any
more information than that.”
Neji gave a short nod before
turning his back on the man to head back toward the blonde, slightly disgusted
that the shinobi had given u the name of his comrade so easily, the cowardice
of the act making him, wish the man had held out just so he could deliver some
well-deserved punishment.
When he returned to Naruto, Neji
was glad to see that he had calmed down a little even if he was still sobbing
gently and trying to hide it from him. He wrapped his arms around the younger
ninja a gradually helped him to his feet before deciding he was shaking too
much to walk on his own and lifting him onto his back.
The blonde hissed as his broken
bones shifted but he gradually settled into him, “thank you Neji,” Naruto
whispered into the slope of the Hyuga’s neck as he rested his head against this
shoulder when they began to move toward the Hokage tower, “ don’t tell Tsunade
what happened, she’ll get mad and she’s only just cleared me for missions
again.”
“What will you tell her,” the
Hyuga inquired over his shoulder, fully aware that the fifth Hokage would
ground the blond e if she didn’t think he could work with unfamiliar teams or
if he was in danger from other ninja. He would have a constant ANBU escort and
would get no privacy at all, but how did they know that the ANBU were to be
trusted. After all some of them must have lost people they loved to the nine
tailed fox as well.
“I’ll tell her I tripped,” Naruto
laughed dryly, “she’ll know I'm lying but in this case a lie is better than the
truth, don’t you think?”
“And what will you tell her when
it happens again, you aren’t that clumsy,” the Hyuga played along with Naruto’s
attempts to lighten the mood as he noticed them approaching the tower. It would
do no good to have the blonde still sniffling when they talked to Tsunade but
he made no attempt to agree with the teen on his back.
Naruto was silent then,
contemplating that fact that this would probably be one incident in a string of
many to occur and the Hyuga felt slightly guilty about forcing the harsh truth
on his optimistic friend but it couldn’t really be helped. As he saw it, it was
better to be prepared for a situation like this than ignorant of it.
“I’ll think about that when it
happens,” Naruto mumbled into his neck and tightened his hold on the Hyuga,
trying to communicate that he didn’t really want to talk about it and that he
would indeed rather be ignorant.
Little did he know though was
that Neji was already thinking about it and had a solution of his own.
Shikamaru
shifted next to Naruto, awakening him from his little daydream of the past and
he lifted his hand to carefully touch his now permanently bent ear to find that
the Nara’s hand was already there.
Shikamaru
gave the blonde a slightly sad look as he laced their fingers together and
moving them both down to rest in the cool green grass between them, “don’t
think about that, you know you’re safe with me and our friends.”
Naruto
pouted and scooted closer to Shikamaru’s, “I can’t believe Neji told Tsunade
what happened even after I told him not to. I know he only meant well but
having you guys as an almost permanent escort makes me feel weak and I'm taking
up so much of everyone’s time.”
“You’ve
made this pitch to me before Naruto,” Shikamaru said with an exasperated sigh,
“and the answer is always going to be the same as the last time. We protect you
because we want to and you need it. We aren’t going to leave you to be beaten every
time you walk down the street; it’s just not right,” the Nara returned his gaze
to the clouds, “of course we wouldn’t have to follow you around all the time if
you would just fight back.”
Naruto
shook his head defiantly and pulled his hand away from the brunettes, “if I
fought back it would only make it worse. You know the council would only lock
me away and what good would that do? I'm surprised I'm still allowed out of the
village let alone preform missions.”
Shikamaru
took the blondes hand back and gave it a little squeeze, “you know Tsunade will
never allow that, she’ll fight the council with everything she has and so will
the rest of us so unless they want a riot of angry ninja on their hands I think
you’re safe. Also I think you need to consider talking to Neji again considering
you haven’t said a word to him since he told on you.”
Naruto
opened his mouth to tell Shikamaru off but his nose twitched and a familiar
scent assaulted his, causing his yell of protest to come out as a groan as he
threw his spare hand over his eyes.
“Not the
reaction I expected but thanks for giving my ears a break for once.”
Naruto
blinked at Shikamaru, not understanding what he was talking about before
remembering that his friend couldn’t smell things like he could, “I know I have
to talk to Neji I'm just trying to figure out what to say first, I only groaned
because Kiba is coming.”
Shikamaru
mumbled indistinctly before closing his eyes and seemingly drifting off to
sleep, not really in the mood to deal with the Inuzuka that gave Naruto a run
for his money in hyperactivity.
“Thanks
for your sup-”
“Hey Foxy
you are never going to believe what I just smelt,” Kiba’s shout cut Naruto off
and the blonde immediately felt his teeth grind together; he absolutely loathed
it when Kiba called him that.
“Fuck
you, you stupid jerk I told you not to call me that!”
Kiba
came to a halt in front of the blonde as he sat up and drew in a few proper
breaths before reporting what had made him excited enough to run all the way
here, “I'm sorry Naruto but that’s just what you smell like to me now but what
you smell like doesn’t matter, it’s what I just caught a scent of that does,”
Kiba dropped to his knees and poked Shikamaru in the leg until he gave up his
attempt at sleep and sat up to join them.
“So anyway
I was walking back from training with Akamaru when he stats growling and pacing
all of a sudden and I'm all like what’s going on, so we follow this scent that he’s
picked up that I don’t recognise at first because its mingled with all these
other ones but then it gets real close to the village and Kakashi’s scent shows
up,” Kiba paused then to take a breath because he’d been talking so fast that
he had forgotten to, “so I'm sniffing around for a bit with Akamaru trying to
figure out this scent and then it hits me. There is only one person I know that
smells like arrogance and insecurity mixed with blood.”
Kiba
looked at Naruto then to see if he got where he was going but the blonde only
wrinkled his nose at the thought of those scents mixing together, “well don’t
you realise who it was,” Kiba sighed, losing all of his excitement as
irritation took over when Naruto shook his head with a frown marring his
features, “it was fucking Sasuke!! He's in the village!!”
Naruto
blinked…and then blinked again before jumping up and grabbing Kiba’s hand,
“show me.”
***
“So
Sasuke you and your team have agreed to be interrogated by Ibiki and give up
all information you know on anything and everything,” Tsunade stated as she
looked up from the papers on her desk to the group in front of her desk, “we
have of course taken into account the various aspects of your desertion from
the village as well as the fact that you eliminated a sever threats to this
village which also reflects well on your team,” Tsunade couldn’t hide the frown
as she said those words, these people were not Sasuke’s team in her eyes.
“We
however, cannot overlook your various crimes. So as a result you will all have
your chakra temporarily sealed and be confined to the village until we see fit no
release you, however Sasuke you will be pardoned for a brief amount of time
should you decided to fight Danzo,” the fifth Hokage watched the raven standing
calmly in front of her desk, surrounded by ANBU, suddenly tense and she knew
that Danzo would soon be dead, “you will also be stripped of any ninja rank you
poses and will not be allowed to try for any rank until your sentence is up. As
for your teams they will have to sign and declare an oath of allegiance to the
leaf village and the land of fire and as a result if the wish they too can try
for a ninja rank. Any questions?”
“Who
decides when our sentence is served,” Sasuke asked as his dark eyes shifted to
the council members in the room, none of which he recognised.
Tsunade
leaned back in her chair and smiled, “if you’re worried about bias from the
council I can assure you personally that you’re wasting your time. As I'm sure
you know I’ve more than deal with the members who committed the crimes against
you and your clan. If you like I can arrange for you to see them rotting in
their jail cells.”
Sasuke
gave her a rare little smile and Tsunade nearly fell out of her and she
suspected that the only thing that stopped her from doing just that was
Kakashi’s hand on her shoulder from
where he stood behind her, “thank you, I would like that very much.”
“Al-right
then since we’re in agreement I’ll hand you over to Ibiki while I organise a
place for you all to sever your time,” Tsunade steadied herself with her hands
on the desk and wondered whether or not she had anymore sake left stashed in
her desk.
“If it
is okay I would like for us to stay in the Uchiha district,” Sasuke requested
hoping the fifth Hokage wouldn’t refuse him. He intended to rebuild his clan
and he need to start doing that by first re building the place they had once
called home.
The Hokage
nodded in understanding before motioning for one of the ANBU at the door to
summon Ibiki to them but just as he turned the knob it was flung open from the
other side and he stumbled back clutching his mask as the door had smashed
straight into it.
“See Foxy
I told you,” Kiba yelled pointing into the room as he did a small victory dance,
“arrogance, insecurity and blood equals Sasuke Uchiha!”
Needless
to say the shit definitely hit the fan then and the only thing that stopped Sasuke
being attacked by a blob of orange and black was the sheer number of people in
the room, that and the fact that Kakashi was already beside Naruto with a hand
over his mouth in a pre-emptive strike to stop the blondes shouting that they
all knew was coming.
“Naruto this
is a private meeting, how the hell did you get past the guards I put in place?!”
Tsunade roared as he stood and slammed her palms into her desk, making Shizune
wince and write down a note to order a new desk to be made, “Get him out of
here Kakashi before I punch him all the way to Suna.”
“Alrighty
Naruto lets go” said the silver haired jonin as he physically began dragging
the blonde from the room who wasn’t putting as much effort into struggling as
he was into the death glare he was directing toward Sasuke, “I’ll tell you all
about it once you’ve had some time to cool off
at the training grounds.”
Sasuke
watched Naruto being led away, all the while looking for any proof that Kakashi’s
description of the blondes metamorphose was credible or if it was just another
one of his strange ex sensei’s stories and just as he was about to give up and
turn back to the Hokage Naruto gave one final struggle and managed to break
free from Kakashi’s hold, launching himself forward and tackling him onto Tsunade’s
desk.
Sasuke
looked up into the feral blue eyes of his former best friend with a smirk, “you’ve
become very fast Naruto, and these,” Sasuke reached up slowly to touch one of
the blondes ears that had escaped from his hood during the short tussle, “I see
these are new to.”
“Shut
the hell up,” Naruto shouted in his face as he pulled his head away to stop the
raven from touching his ears and he saw confusing pass across Sasuke’s face as
he wondered why he had been so quick to pull away when he clearly didn’t mind
them touching since they were pretty much pressed together meaning the raven
could not only hear but fell the ominous growl that was slowly falling from his
lips.
“Naruto,
Sasuke has returned to the village after quite a lot of negotiation,” Tsunade
said in an attempt to calm the volatile ninja down, “it would be a shame if he
left all because you tried to rip his throat out,” the blonde looked up at that
and he didn’t miss the nervous glances Tsunade was giving the council members
in the room who were muttering quietly to themselves.
Baring
his teeth at Sasuke Naruto wrapped his arms around Sasuke’s neck and delivered
an awkward hug before moving away and turning to the other occupants of the room,
a hand immediately going to the back of his head and that fake sheepish grin
falling in place to cover his elongated canines that the Uchiha was sure were
another permanent addition even though Kakashi hadn’t mentioned them, “sorry everyone,
I guess I was just happy to see him and got a little carried away.”
Naruto was
lying, no one brought it but a little of the tension in the room dissipated and
Sasuke watched shocked as the blonde bowed respectfully to the council members
and elders before affording Tsunade the same treatment and then leaving without
another word, leaving the Uchiha with only one coherent thought.
What the hell just happened?

Okay so
no review responses after this chapter, I'm trying to work out the forum thing
to put them on there, however I will say this.
I’ve
been getting some slack lately about my editing both with this fic and a couple
of times with AtT and I apologized but I just don’t have time to read through
my stuff and if I did I would change a million thing and you guys would never
hear from me again. As for the beta issue I would get one but I am quite an impatient
person and betas have their own lives which means things would most likely not
be edited as fast as I would like and I’d just end up posting the un edited
version anyway so the point is moot. If there are any absolutely major problems
you see let me know and I’ll do what I can to get rid of them.
Anyway
my pretties please review, I’m loving all the comments about cute foxy Naruto, I
wish I could draw you a picture of how see him.
