This is an AU fic: In this fic Sasuke did not go to Orochimaru, because Itachi didn't kill the Clan. Itachi is an ANBU and is very fond of his little brother. The Fourth isn't dead and is the current Hokage. And people that live in Shinobi villages and a few non-shinobi villages only hate the Kyuubi along with the other Demons. But some villages see them as gods.

Warning: This fic contains Yaoi, Yuri, Het, language, violence, alcohol, possible lemon and possible mpreg. And some to most characters will most likely be OOC.

Chapter 3 - Feelings and Awakenings!

Haku and Zabuza were walking along the temple wall when they came across a body of one of the temple guards. Haku knelt down and put his fingers to the guard's neck. He removed his fingers when he felt no pulse and looked over the man's body. He turned the body over and noticed the guards back had been slashed open. He examined the slashes on the man's skin.

"Zabuza-san, these wounds look familiar. I believe that Naruto-kun is in danger." Haku said with fear in his voice. Zabuza peered down at the corpse, then looked around the area. He noticed some scratches on the trees.

"Let's go Haku. The intruders went that way!" Haku stood up then looked over at Zabuza and followed his gaze towards the scratched trees. Zabuza jumped into the trees with Haku following behind.

Naruto was running as fast as he could. His chest felt constricted from the lack of oxygen and his throat dry from screaming. His whole body felt like lead. His breathes where ragged and harsh. Every breath made his throat hurt and lungs burn for more oxygen. He continued running and was aware that the two men were catching up to him. He saw a glimpse of the river and a basket full of laundry on the river bank.

"The laundry spot! I'm so close! Just a little farther." Naruto thought as he pushed himself harder to get to the river. He felt a little relieved that he was getting closer to the temples.

Naruto smiled but his smile quickly left as he tripped over his own foot and fell forward. The impact with the ground knocked the air out of his lungs. He could feel the palms of his hands were scrapped, his bottom lip was busted, and he could taste blood in his mouth. He lifted his head as he struggled to regain his breath and felt a trickle of blood flow down the side of his face. He started to push himself up with his hands and turned to look over his shoulder. His eyes widened as he noticed the two men weren't there and suddenly stilled when he felt a presence behind him. He turned his head slowly and saw the two men standing in front of him. One leaned down then reached out his hand and picked the blonde up by the front of his shirt.

"Well he wasn't very fun to play with. Here I thought this demon was supposed to be strong, but he's just a wimp." The man spat out; boredom evident in his voice. Naruto was dropped to the ground. He quickly turned around, got up, and started run away again. He felt fevered and was running away again when he heard the two behind him laugh.

"Your right brother. He's a wimp. Let's just grab him and go." The other said amused. The two took off after the blonde again and Naruto could feel them practically on his heels. The men moved away from each other to reveal a long chain linking them together. They came up on both sides of the blonde. Naruto was so scared, he was running as fast as he could; yet these two easily caught up and were running along side him. Then they began to speed up and Naruto felt the chain linking them touch his back. They started to cross each other's path. Naruto suddenly heard a whizzing sound and felt something fly past him. He ran past the two that seemed to be frozen in shock. When he was just barely past them he noticed something blurry jump over his head. The blonde stopped and turned to look at what it was. His eyes widened as he realized who it was.

"Sasuke!" Naruto said in shock. The blonde felt the heat of his body grow stronger and the pain from all the running grew more intense as he looked at the raven-haired teen in front of him. The blonde noticed the chain linking the two was stuck in a tree by some strange weapon. He watched wide-eyed as Sasuke landed on the two men's arms and placed his hands on them to hold him while he kicked them in the face. The chain snapped that held the two together as they fell to the ground. Sasuke landed on his feet and quickly turned around.

"Don't just stand there dobe! Run, get out of here now!" Sasuke said with panic, fear, and anger in his voice. Naruto was frozen in his place from the pain and the wave of heat that washed over him. The pale teen growled and quickly grabbed another kunai from his holster. One of the two quickly got up and started running towards the blonde. Sasuke saw this and quickly ran past the other and stood protectively in front of the blonde. Naruto was amazed at the speed of the raven-haired teen. He couldn't believe how fast he was. Sasuke held the kunai out in front of him as the man came up to attack. He used the kunai to block the attack and delivered a kick to the man's stomach causing him to fly backwards. Forgetting his orders Sasuke's hands quickly went through a series of hand seals.

"Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu!" Naruto fell backwards when he saw Sasuke breath fire. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"That's amazing!" The blonde looked and sounded dumbfounded, the pain and heat he was feeling forgotten, but his look became one of shock when he saw the other man charging at him from his side. "Sasuke!" The black-eyed teen stopped breathing fire and quickly turned his head to the blonde. He saw the man coming towards the blonde and quickly ran forward. Naruto closed his eyes tightly as the man came closer with his claw like hand forward. Sasuke stepped in front of the man just in time. He didn't have time to block as he felt claws stab into his stomach. Using his left hand he grabbed the clawed hand and removed it from his stomach while he pulled his right hand back and landed a hard punch in the man's face sending him backwards.

Naruto waited for the pain to come from being stabbed but none came. He slowly opened his eyes at first and noticed Sasuke standing in front of him. Naruto smiled and felt relieved until he noticed the blood dripping into a small puddle on the ground. He felt a strong wave of pain and heat shoot through him. He spoke slowly and his voice sounded scared. "Sasuke...are you ok?" Sasuke turned his head slowly to face the blonde.

"Dobe!" His voice sounded weak even to himself. "Damn! There must have been poison on his claws! This sucks! I can't believe I was so careless!" Naruto stared at the raven-haired teen and felt all the pain and heat begin to get even worse. It felt like he was on fire and was being stabbed with needles all over his body. Sasuke noticed the blonde looked sick again, but he also seemed to be sad. "What's wrong dobe? You look like your going to cry." Sasuke said with sarcasm in his voice. The blonde felt tears began to form in his eyes and slide down his cheeks as he stared at the pale teen before him.

"He can't die! He was just trying to protect me! I don't want him to die!" The tears came quickly now as Naruto began to sob. The two men just watched amusedly, waiting for the poison to take effect before taking the blonde. Sasuke saw the blonde's tears and felt his heart clench. He didn't like seeing the blonde cry. It made him feel sad and guilty when he saw him crying. Sasuke didn't know what to say or do to make him feel better. He felt his body growing tired as his eyes closed and he started to fall backwards. Naruto saw the raven-haired teen falling and quickly rushed to catch him before he hit the ground. Sasuke felt the blonde catch him before he could hit the ground. Naruto's body was relieved from its pain and heat as he held Sasuke close. His tears fell on the ravens pale face.

"Please don't die! I don't want you to die! You're supposed to protect me! How can you protect me if you die? So you can't die. You have to live! Please! Please don't die!" Naruto pleaded as he gripped the fabric of Sasuke's shirt in his hands tightly. Sasuke opened his eyes while listening to the blonde. The tears that hit his face felt warm to his cooling skin.

"He looks so beautiful even when he's crying. But it's a sad beauty. I prefer to see him smiling." Sasuke brought his hand up and wiped away the tears on Naruto's face before he gently cupped his cheek and let his thumb caress the tear stained skin. Naruto brought his hand up and covered the raven-haired teens hand. He began to nuzzle his face into the teen's hand as he cried harder. Sasuke weakly smiled at the blonde's action. Darkness was starting to overtake him and he could barely make out the crying blue eyes. "So cute!" Sasuke gasped out, then everything went dark. Naruto felt the teen's hand slip away from his and watched as it fell.

"Sasuke! Sasuke please open your eyes!" The blonde began to shake the teen rapidly, but the pale teen didn't respond. The blonde's body tensed as he stared at the raven-haired teen. "He's dead." The two men watching began to laugh.

"It's about time the poison took effect. I was getting tired of waiting." Naruto didn't move when he heard the other man. He felt enraged by them. He wanted them to pay for what they did. He wanted them to die.

The creature behind a pair of large golden gates was twitching and jerking about as if it was having a nightmare. The only sounds were the dripping of the pipes. But in the distance small cries could be heard begging for some one to stay alive. Then they stopped and it was quiet for a moment before a loud echo of "He's dead" was heard. The creature stopped all movement. It could feel the rage and the hate coming from the other. The area began to flood with a red aura before the creatures eyes suddenly snapped open.

Naruto felt his body begin to burn from the inside out. The two men started coming towards him and talking to him. But he couldn't understand them, he felt like he was losing control of his body. One of the two stopped in front of him and kicked the blonde in the chest. Naruto flew back a few feet and quickly sat up. His eyes widened as he saw the man who just kicked him start to stomp on the Sasuke’s chest.

"Stupid punk thought he could defeat us!" The man stomped down harder on the raven-haired teens chest. The blonde's anger turned into fury as he watched the man push down harder on the teen's chest. He clenched his hands into fist as darkness began to enter his vision until it completely took over.

Naruto suddenly felt like he was falling in the darkness that consumed his vision, but he wasn't scared of it. He felt relaxed with it and then he landed on what he thought was a cloud. He began to move his hand to feel this cloud. He then realized this cloud was furry. He turned his head to face his hand and slowly opened his eyes as he began to pet the soft red fur he saw.

"This is so nice. I wonder if I fainted and this is a dream?" Naruto turned his head to the other side and tensed as he stared into red eyes that were narrowed into slits. He took in the creature's appearance and realized it was a fox. He suddenly believed that he must have fainted and this must be a dream. He sat up and smiled at the fox. "Your a fox, and a big fox at that. So I must be dreaming." The fox snorted at the blonde.

"I'm the Nine Tailed Fox! You may call me Kyuubi and you are not dreaming. I live inside you." Naruto stared wide-eyed at the fox, but quickly his look became one of confusion.

"Kyuubi? As in THE Kyuubi? If so then why do you live inside me and how come I've never known about it or talked to you before?" The fox rolled its eyes.

"I'm the only Kyuubi that I know of, so yes I'm THE Kyuubi, as you put it. The answer to your stupid question is that I've been sleeping inside you until now. You've been having some strong emotions lately, that have been disturbing me, but just now your strong feelings of rage and sorrow woke me up. These feelings that were brought on by the death of some one important to you." Naruto's expression was full of rage as he remembered what those men did to Sasuke.

"They killed him! I hate them! I want them to die for what they did!" Naruto began to cry as he clenched his fist tightly. He face was full of sadness and sorrow. "They killed him! He died protecting me! He died protecting me, but I didn't want him to! I didn't ask him to die for me. I wanted him to live. He seemed so different from every one else. He didn't treat me like I was some object to keep hidden or like I was special or different from him. He treated me like I was normal or even a friend! I want him back!" The fox watched as the blonde cried and brought one of it's tails up to wrap around the blonde and pushed him to lay down. The fox brought its face close to the blonde and nuzzled him with its nose.

"Sleep little one. Dream of things that bring you joy. I'll take care of everything else. I will make them pay for causing you so much pain." The blonde stared into the fox's red eyes for a minute then shut his eyes and let sleep overtake him. The fox watched as the blonde fell asleep.

"Sleep well little one." Kyuubi said before growling.

The brothers stared at the blonde when he suddenly just fell forward like he was dead. The one that was stomping on Sasuke's chest stopped when he noticed. He walked over to the blonde and rolled him onto his back. "I think he fainted!" The other just laughed and started to walk over to the fainted blonde.

"Come on brother, we need to hurry. We've wasted to much time already." The other nodded and walked back over to the raven-haired teen.

"I'll dispose of this one." He knelt down to pick up the teen, but stopped when he heard a strange growl come from the blonde. Both men looked at the blonde as he began to stand up.

"You won't touch that boy!" The brother's eyes widened as red chakra began to pour out of the blonde's body. The man next to Sasuke began to back away from him. The blonde's eyes opened to reveal vibrant red eyes with slit pupils. The brothers began to back away. The blonde noticed and quickly leapt towards them. "You'll never get away from me humans!"

Zabuza and Haku quickly stopped on a tree limb when they felt an extremely powerful chakra. Haku bit his bottom lip and turned to look at Zabuza. "Zabuza-san, do you think that's the intruders chakra or something else?" Zabuza looked at Haku from the corner of his eye.

"I don't know Haku, but I don't think it's the intruders. Let's go!" Haku nodded his head and followed Zabuza through the trees.

Neji and Shikamaru quickly stood up when they felt a powerful chakra. Shikamaru looked over at Neji questioningly. "Use your Byakugan to find the source." Neji frowned at Shikamaru.

"We were ordered not to use our abilities and that includes bloodlines." Shikamaru rolled his eyes and then stared lazily at the white-eyed male.

" How troublesome. Only when around Naruto are we not supposed to. There was nothing said about using them when he wasn't around. Anyways Naruto could be where that chakra's coming from, and if that's true then he's most likely in danger." Neji thought about what the lazy teen said then nodded his head and activated his bloodline.

"BYAKUGAN!" Neji searched for a few minutes before he found Naruto. What he saw shocked him and he quickly deactivated his bloodline and turned to Shikamaru. "We need to hurry! I'll explain on the way!" Shikamaru arched his eyebrow but followed the white-eyed teen when he took off.

Kakashi was following a crazed Iruka who was diving around in the river. Iruka thought that Naruto probably tripped and fell into the river, then got knocked out by hitting his head on the bottom of the river. So Kakashi sat and watched his dolphin dive around in the deep part of the river to make sure he didn't drown. Iruka broke the waters surface and swam over to rivers edge. He climbed out of the river and stared at the silver haired man.

"Why aren't you helping me?" Iruka asked questioningly. Kakashi stared at the wet form of the teacher and began to drool as he watched the water slid down his skin. Iruka was getting furious and was about to smack that perverted look off the silver haired perverts face when he felt a powerful chakra. Kakashi's look became one of seriousness when he felt it too.

"Is that what I think it is or is it something else?" Kakashi asked with uncertainty. Iruka looked at the jounin and nodded his head.

"It's Kyuubi! But I don't know why! We have to hurry!" Kakashi nodded his head and stood up. The two males quickly ran in the direction they felt the chakra come from.

Sakura and Sai were sitting in Sakura's room playing poker (1) waiting for the others to return. Sakura peered over her cards at Sai. She watched his face closely. Sai noticed she was staring at him and smiled at her. "Are you ready Sakura-chan?" The pink haired girl kept a stern look on her face.

"I raise my bet." Sakura put two more chocolate chip cookies in the pile of cookies in between the two of them. Sai continued to smile at her.

"I call your bet." The black haired teen added two of his own sugar cookies to the pile. "Show your cards." Sakura grinned then slammed her cards down on the floor!

"Full House!" Sakura said happily. Sai began to frown. The pink haired girl began to laugh and grab for the cookies thinking she was the winner, but suddenly stopped when the black haired boy smiled again then laid his cards down!

"I have a Royal Flush! So I win again!" Sakura gaped at the black haired boy in front of her and pointed an accusing finger at him while he started grabbing the cookies.

"You're cheating! You've won every round! You cheater!" Sai just laughed at his pink haired friend while putting the cookies in his cookie bag. He started to zip up his bag but froze in place.

"Sakura-chan, do you feel that?" The pink haired girl was also frozen in place and just nodded to her friend. "Naruto-kun might be in danger. We should check it out." Sai stood up and held his hand out to his pink haired friend. Sakura took his hand and pulled herself up. The two quickly left the room.

Zabuza and Haku felt the chakra quickly disappear. They jumped down from the trees to the ground and began to run. A clearing came into view and they could see a few figures lying on the ground. As they got closer they realized the figures were Sasuke and Naruto lying beside each other. Haku sped up and passed Zabuza. He stopped when he reached the two boys and quickly fell to his knees and began to check them over. The blonde was covered in blood so he decided to check him first. He placed his fingers on the blonde's neck and sighed in relief. Then checked for wounds. "Naruto-kun is fine! He has no wounds so the blood isn't his own."

Zabuza stopped behind Haku and looked around the clearing. Haku then brought his attention to Sasuke and saw the wound on his stomach. He placed his fingers on the boy's neck. "I don't feel a pulse." He dropped his head onto the black haired boys chest and listened closely. After a minute he sat up. "He has a heartbeat, but it's very weak. He must have been poisoned. We have to hurry and take them back to the temple. Zabuza-san, could you carry the Uchiha boy? He's to heavy for me." Haku started to pick up the blonde. After he had the blonde over his shoulder he noticed Zabuza hadn't said anything or made a move to pick up the raven-haired teen. He turned his head to Zabuza and his eyes widened at what he saw. Zabuza turned to look at Haku then walked over to the raven-haired teen.

"I believe the Kyuubi has woke up." Zabuza stated. Zabuza then picked up the raven-haired teen bridal style so that he didn't put any pressure on the stomach wound. Haku stared at the limbs that were thrown about all over the clearing. There was blood on the trees and the ground. Zabuza watched Haku for a minute then began to run towards the temple as he called out to Haku. "Come on Haku. This boy needs help. There's no time to gawk at the scene." Haku nodded his head then took off after the other.

Naruto was happily dreaming of pranking Zabuza and getting away with it when he felt a nudge to his side. He slowly opened his eyes to see the fox staring at him. He blinked his eyes a few times. "Why did you wake me?" The fox stared at the boy for a minute before pushing him off her back. Naruto landed face first on the cold floor. He quickly jumped up and pointed at the fox while rubbing his sore face. "Damn it you bastard! Why did you do that?" The fox snorted then started to stretch its stiff muscles.

"I did it because I can. And by the way, I'm a female. So I can't be a bastard. I would have to be a bitch." Naruto's eyes widened as he stared at the fox.

"Your a female! I thought you were a dude! Wow, you're just as confusing as Haku is!" Kyuubi just stared at the blonde for a minute then laid down. Naruto watched as the fox lay down and moved around to get comfy. "What are you doing?" Kyuubi yawned then sleepily looked over at the blonde.

"I'm going back to sleep." Naruto's mouth fell open. He couldn't believe the fox wanted to go back to sleep already, it pissed him off.

"Hey you can't go back to sleep just yet! You just woke up and I have a few questions for you!" Kyuubi looked over at the boy telling him to continue. Naruto crossed his arms over his chest. "Well for one, how do I get out of here? And for two what's wrong with me? I mean, why do I get sick and start hurting? It's weird, I've never been sick before. That is until recently I've been getting fevers and my body won't stop hurting and I think you know why! After all you've been living inside me my whole life, so you should know what the hells going on." Kyuubi closed her eyes and turned her head away from the fuming blonde.

"If you want to leave then just think about it hard enough and you will. It's the same for wanting to come here. Think about it and you'll be here. As for what's wrong with you. Figure it out yourself. I'm tired, so goodbye." Naruto was pissed. He clenched his fist and started to walk over to the fox when suddenly he felt like he was being pulled away.

"Hey! What's going on? Hey stupid fox answer me!" Kyuubi turned to look at the blonde.

"I'm forcing you to leave." Naruto stared at the fox in shock. He was about to say more but suddenly the fox was gone and everything was dark.

Naruto opened his eyes and realized he was back in his room. He looked around for a minute thinking. "I'm back in my room. How did I get back though? What happened? Was it all just dream? Did I really meet the Kyuubi? I'm so confused! I'll ask Iruka-sensei about it later." The blonde shook his head and thought back to earlier. "I remember getting chased by two strange men, then Sasuke came along and did some magic or something. Hmm...Then one of them tried to attack me and Sasuke he..." Naruto's face became depressed looking as he remembered that Sasuke died. He rolled over on his side and brought his knees up to his chest. He wrapped his arms around his legs and buried his face in his knees as he started to cry.

Iruka, Kakashi, Neji, Sai, Sakura, Shikamaru, and Zabuza were all sitting in Iruka's room. Kakashi was sitting next to Iruka on his futon. Sai was sitting next to the door holding Sakura to his chest while she cried. Shikamaru sat beside them trying to help comfort the pink haired girl. Neji leaned against the wall beside them with his eyes closed and a sullen look on his face. Zabuza was looking through Iruka's herbs for something to help slow down the poison. Iruka cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention. "I know your all probably wondering what did that to those two men." Everyone turned their attention to Iruka. Sakura wiped her eyes and turned to look at the man as well. Zabuza found what he was looking for and stood up. He walked to the door then stopped.

"I've identified the two as the Demon Brothers of the Mist. I used to know them. So I know how they fight. This herb should help slow down the poison, but it won't get rid of it. I hope the boy can hang on till Tsunade arrives." Zabuza said, then opened the door and walked out closing the door behind him. Sakura looked over at Iruka questioningly.

"Who's this Tsunade? How can she help?" Iruka looked at the girl and was about to reply, but Kakashi spoke before he could.

"Tsunade is one of the three legendary sannin. She specializes in medicinal and healing jutsus. She also has tremendous strength and power. She'll be able to heal Sasuke." Sakura began to smile. Sai couldn't help but wonder though as he looked at the silver haired man confusedly.

"Has she been sent for already? Did you send for her when we got back? If so, then will she be here in time to help Sasuke?" Sakura's smile faltered at Sai's questions. Iruka saw this and smiled at the girl.

"I sent for her early this morning." Everyone gave the teacher a look that asked 'Why? Did you know something was going to happen?'. Iruka noticed this and shook his head. "No, I didn't know anything was going to happen. I wanted her to look at Naruto-kun. He's been acting strange lately." Shikamaru looked at the tanned man sternly.

"You mean he's been getting feverish." Iruka nodded his head at the statement. Everyone turned to look at the lazy teen. "I know it has something to do with that object he's got and apparently he used it to kill those two ninja's. So why don't you tell us what it is." Iruka gasped, he couldn't believe how smart the boy was. Everyone except Kakashi looked at the teacher waiting for an answer from him. Kakashi looked at Shikamaru while smiling. He couldn't believe how smart the boy was either. Iruka noticed every one looking at him and tried hard to think up an excuse. He elbowed Kakashi and the silver haired man looked at him funny before finally saying something for him.

"Actually we don't know what did that two those two. We were going to see if any of you had any idea's about that." Iruka couldn't believe the lame excuse the man came up with. But he was relieved when the others just nodded. Iruka decided he had enough of this for a little while and stood up. Kakashi looked at him. "Where are you going?" Iruka walked over to the door then turned to look at the silver haired man.

"I'm going to see if Naruto-kun is awake yet." Kakashi nodded in understanding. Iruka opened the door and walked out closing the door behind him. When the door was shut he let out a sigh of relief. He walked over to Naruto's room and opened the door a little to peek inside. He saw the blonde curled up into himself. He was about to close the door cause he thought the boy was still asleep when heard the sound of sniffling. He opened the door all the way and went in. He closed the door behind which caused the blonde to look up at him. Iruka rushed to his side when he saw that the blonde was crying. He kneeled down next to the blonde.

"Naruto-kun what's wrong?" Naruto stared at Iruka for a minute before throwing himself at his sensei. He buried his face in the brown haired mans shirt and gripped his shirt in his hands while he cried. Iruka wrapped his arms around the crying boy. "It's ok Naruto. Tell me what's wrong." Naruto calmed himself a little and looked up at his sensei before he spoke.

"Sasuke's dead! He died protecting me!" The blonde then started crying heavily and shoved his face back into Iruka's chest. Iruka was shocked that the Uchiha had this much effect on the blonde. He grabbed the teens shoulders and pushed him away from him a little so that he could look at the boy's face then smiled a little.

"Naruto, Sasuke isn't dead. He's just been poisoned. He's in his room and is unconscious right now. Haku is looking after him until Tsunade arrives." Naruto stared at his sensei for a minute before jumping out of his arms and running out the door. Iruka smiled sadly at the boys retreating back. "Poor boy doesn't even know it, but he's falling in love. It's sad he's not allowed such happiness." Iruka stood up and left the room. He was about to enter his room again when a bird landed on his shoulder. He looked at the bird and noticed it was a messenger bird from Konoha. He gently grabbed the bird from his shoulder and walked into the room. He walked over to Kakashi and handed the bird to him. Kakashi stared at the bird then at him before taking the bird and taking the message off the bird's leg. He looked over at the others then at Iruka and smiled under his mask at him.

"Could you bring me a piece of paper and something to write with Iruka-chan?" Iruka blushed then walked over to his shelves and found what he asked for. He walked back over to the silver haired man and handed him the pen and paper. "Thank you. Could you hold this bird for me for a minute?" Iruka nodded his head and took the bird from the silver haired male. Kakashi then started to write something on the paper. When he was finished he grabbed the bird and attached the message. He stood up and opened the door. He whispered to the bird then let it go. Kakashi then closed the door and turned towards the others. "Shikamaru, Neji, we need to talk."

Haku was wetting a small towel when the door suddenly flew open and Naruto ran in the room. The blonde felt the heat and pain shoot through his body as he stared at the raven-haired teen laying on a futon. The blonde thought he looked like he was sleeping. Haku stared Naruto for a minute and noticed he looked flushed. He was about to ask if he was ok, but the blonde quickly ran to the raven haired teens side then dropped to his knees before putting his head on the teens chest. Haku was confused, but then realized what the teen was doing. Naruto smiled and he sat up to look at Haku.

"He's alive! He's alive Haku! He didn't die and granny Tsunade will make him better again when she gets here!" Haku saw tears begin to form in the blonde's eyes and noticed how the other swayed a little.

"Naruto-kun are you feeling ok?" Naruto nodded his head then looked down at the raven-haired teen.

"I'm fine Haku. Just a little dizzy, but I'm fine." Haku was still worried but nodded his head. He brought the wet towel over and placed it on the raven-haired teens fore head. This confused Naruto. The boy felt so cold. "Haku, he feels cold, why does he need a wet towel put on him if he's cold?" Haku was a little shocked. He brought his hand up and placed it on the blonde's fore head and frowned.

"Naruto-kun, Sasuke isn't cold, he has a fever, and so do you. But your fever is higher than his, so he feels cold to you." Naruto nodded his head. He knew he felt hot, but he didn't think he was that hot. He didn't know how long he could stand the heat and pain, but he didn't want to leave Sasuke's side until he was fine. He brought a hand to the raven-haired teens face to move some of his bangs that was under the wet cloth. He bit his bottom lip when he touched the other, he could feel the pain and the heat turn into those pleasurable tingles. He took his hand away then felt the pain and heat come back. Haku watched all this closely. He didn't understand what was going, but he could tell that Naruto looked better when he was touching the raven-haired teen. He remembered seeing it happen before, but he wasn't sure what it all meant. Naruto started to stand up but suddenly fell backwards as the pain and heat became too much for him and caused him to faint.

Haku noticed the blonde faint and rushed to his side. He looked over the blonde to make sure he didn't get hurt when he fell. Zabuza came in with a pitcher filled with cold water and arched an eyebrow. "What happened while I was gone?" Haku looked at him then stood up and walked over to him to take the pitcher of cold water.

"Naruto-kun came bursting through the door about two minutes after you left to get some cold water. He looked feverish, but when he was touching Sasuke he looked fine. He was trying to stand up when he suddenly fainted." Zabuza laughed and walked over to the blonde. "What are you doing?" Haku asked confusedly. Zabuza picked the blonde up bridal style then looked at Haku.

"I'm going to put him next to the Uchiha. So do me a favor and pull the sheet back and move him over so there's enough room for both to fit on the futon." Haku looked at him questioningly. Zabuza rolled his eyes. "It would be easier for Tsunade, if both her patients were in the same room." Haku didn't look like he believed him but did what he was told anyway. He pulled the sheet back and moved the raven-haired teen over so that there was some room for Naruto to fit on the futon. Zabuza put the blonde down on the raven-haired teens left. He then situated it to where the blonde had his head on the raven's chest. Haku looked at him oddly and Zabuza just laughed. "He pulls pranks all the time on every one else. So what's wrong with doing something to him in return." Haku sighed and looked away from his lover.

Minato stared at the black haired male in front of him. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat before talking. "Itachi-san, I'm sorry for everything that's happened. I knew Shisui-san's parents had an arranged marriage set up and that he wasn't happy with it. I also knew his parents detested you. They told me they didn't want him to be assigned to missions that you were assigned to. I didn't understand at first, but then I heard that some of the families in the Uchiha clan were having a dispute. I didn't know over what, but I learned from reports that your parents and Shisui-san's parents were the ones having the dispute." Minato paused and scratched the back of his head nervously. "After I read your report, I think I know what the dispute was about." Itachi stared down at the floor letting all the information process in his mind.

"Thank you Hokage-sama. I didn't know about any of this, but now that I do, I think I will talk with my parents about it. Can I leave now?" Minato watched Itachi's face for any kind of emotion, but found none. He let out a sigh and was about to dismiss him when he remembered something about the report.

"Itachi-san, you said your Sharingan has evolved. What did you mean?" Itachi closed his eyes and then opened them.

"Do you want me to show you Hokage-sama?" Minato didn't miss the coldness in Itachi's voice, but he nodded his head anyway. Itachi closed his eyes again then opened them to reveal the Sharingan. "Now watch closely Hokage-sama." Minato stared at Itachi's red eyes and watched as the little coma's thickened and stretched to look like what kind of reminded him of a pinwheel.

"Do you know anything about this evolved form yet?" Itachi shook his head then closed his eyes. He opened them to reveal the normal coal blackness. The blonde sighed, and then leaned back into his chair. "Maybe your parents might know something about it or there could be something about in your family history. Go to your clan's library if your parents don't know anything about it and search some of the old scrolls there." Itachi nodded his head. Minato looked at him for a moment then sighed. "Itachi-san, I know your hurt and if you need anything just let me know. I will help you in any way I can. You may leave now." Itachi nodded then bowed.

"Thank you Minato-san. If I need anything I'll let you know." Minato smiled at the black haired male. Itachi saw this and gave a little smile back before poofing out of the room. Minato turned his chair around to face the window that overlooked the village.

"The poor boy. He killed the one he loved. I hope it doesn't break him. I've noticed that he's been on edge lately. Maybe I should have given the mission to some one else, but would that of made any difference? Maybe I should..." Minato was brought out of his thoughts by a bird landing on his head. He scowled at the bird before gently grabbing it. "Why do you damn birds always land on my head. It's not nest or anything!" Minato looked the bird over and noticed it was the bird he sent out earlier to Kakashi. "That was fast." He removed the message from the bird's leg and began to read it. The bird hopped back up on top of his head and sat down. The blonde's eyes widened as he read the message. He quickly turned his chair around and grabbed a pen and some paper. He started hurriedly writing down a message. After he was done he quickly grabbed the bird from his head and attached the message to it. He walked over to the window and whispered something to the bird before letting it go.

Minato walked over to his chair and sat down. He thought about the message and clenched his teeth. "That old man better not try to go against me or I'll go there personally." The blonde angrily slammed his fist on his desk causing many of the items to fall off onto the floor.

A busty blonde woman, a black haired woman holding a pig, and a spiky white haired man stood outside the gates of Kyuubi temple. The blonde woman looked up to the top of the wall and yelled at the guard standing there. "HEY YOU! IF YOU DON'T HURRY AND OPEN THE GATE THEN I'LL BREAK IT DOWN!" The guard eeped and signaled for the gates to be opened causing the blonde haired woman's two companions to sweat drop. Sometimes the woman had no patience. The gates opened and the blonde haired woman turned to the two. "Let's hurry! Iruka's message said the brat was sick." The dark haired woman sighed and the white haired male got mad.

"Damn it Tsunade! You made us run all the way here because you were worried about the brat! I think that Iruka's just over reacting. You know how much of a mother-hen that man is!" Tsunade glared at the white haired man while cracking her knuckles.

"Jiraiya, if you want to keep writing that shit you call art then you'll do as I say!" Jiraiya threw his hands up and stepped back. He looked over to the dark haired girl for help.

"Shizune-chan, calm your teacher down. You know I didn't mean any harm." Shizune's eyebrow twitched.

"Don't call me Shizune-chan you old pervert." The dark haired girl sighed. "Come on! Naruto-kun might actually be sick. I highly doubt it cause, well you know, but if he is then there's something seriously wrong." The two nodded then began to walk through the gates.

Iruka was pacing back and forth in the hall in front of Sasuke's door. He received word that Tsunade had arrived and so he decided to wait for her. He was extremely nervous. Haku told him that Naruto had looked feverish again a while ago and then he fainted. He wanted to move Naruto back to his room, but Zabuza said it would be easier if Tsunade had them in the same room. So of course, being the logical man he was, he agreed, but didn't understand why Zabuza insisted on letting Naruto keep his head on the others chest. Iruka was still contemplating this when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He jumped and turned around quickly. "Tsunade-sama! Your here! And so is Shizune-san and Jiraiya-sama!" Tsunade smiled at the brown haired male.

"Is Naruto-kun in his room?" Iruka shook his head and pointed to the Uchiha's door.

"He's in there with Sasuke-san!" Tsunade looked at the teacher confusedly, but before she could ask who that was Iruka started talking again. "Sasuke-san is one of Naruto-kun's new bodyguards. He was protecting Naruto-kun and got poisoned." Tsunade nodded her head then walked past the teacher to the door. She opened the door and started to walk in with Shizune and Jiraiya following behind her. Haku saw her walk in and felt relieved.

"I'm happy you’re here Tsunade-sama!" Tsunade nodded at Haku then looked over at the boys and just stared at them for minute, before shrugging it off. Shizune did the same, but couldn't stop staring. Haku giggled at the older man and stood up. He walked over to him and started to push him out of the room. Once he was out he closed the door and went back to where he was sitting before. Tsunade walked over to the boys and moved Naruto off the one she guessed was Sasuke. As soon as she had Naruto off the boy she felt his body instantly heat up. She frowned at this but continued to move him away from the other.

"Shizune, I want you to look over Naruto-kun while I take care of this one." Shizune nodded her head and went over to Naruto. Tsunade then looked at Haku. "Do you know what kind of poison this is?" Haku nodded his head and told Tsunade all he knew about it. Tsunade bit her bottom lip while she listened. The poison was a fairly new kind, but she knew how to cure it. "I know how to cure it. Do you know how long the poison's been in his system?" Haku shrugged, unsure of how long for sure.

"It's been in his system for about six hours. Maybe a little longer." Tsunade frowned.

"This poison takes about seven hours to kill its victim." Haku stared at the blonde woman worriedly. Tsunade noticed this and smiled reassuringly at him. "Don't worry Haku-kun. You know I won't let this boy die." Haku weakly smiled at the woman. Tsunade turned to look at Shizune. Shizune looked back at her.

"I can't figure out what's wrong with him!" Tsunade frowned but waved the girl over to her.

"Let's take care of this boy first then. I'll look at Naruto-kun when were done." Shizune nodded and walked over to help Tsunade.
