What it means to carry a child
Koroshi lay in bed, too tired to get up and eat some breakfast. It had been a couple weeks since she had gotten pregnant, and she was beginning to show just the slightest bit. Not enough for anyone to think of pregnancy, just enough to get someone to think that she had eaten one too many dango. She tossed and turned, unable to sleep. She missed Itachi, and wondered what he was going at that very moment. She also missed Sasuke, and wished that he would also return to the village. She missed the old days. She thought about how her sensei had changed towards her, and how much more distant Anko was now that she was pregnant. She felt like she had done something wrong, but it was just how Anko was, she supposed. She thought about what it meant to carry a baby…a child. It was another human being, another life. It was already rapidly developing, and even if it was a rape baby, she couldn’t bring herself to get an abortion. That would be like murder. There were tiny human babies inside of her. She wondered what they would look like. She wondered how Itachi’s baby would look…and what Orochimaru’s child would look like. She hoped that his child would look more like her, but she didn’t keep her hopes too high. She finally rolled out of her bed, and made her way down the stairs, making herself some breakfast to eat. She had some simple white rice with a sweet dumpling, and some sweet bean paste.
