Raido stared at the pair set up at the end of the bar. Something wasn't right. One silver head and one brown one were bent over a pair of glasses, both faces looking completely miserable. It was still a little odd to be able to actually see one of those faces, but about a month ago, with no explanation whatsoever, the mask had come down and never gone back.
They both took a drink at the same time and it was a little odd how in sync they always seemed to be. It was really creepy sometimes when the three of them were together and they started finishing each others' sentences. A person could get dizzy watching them talk.
And that was the really odd part of it. It was extremely rare these days to not see all three together. Where was Ruka?
He took up a stool next to them and signaled to Aio for a drink. "Sake, please." After the disastrous night of drunken conversation with Genma, he'd sworn off whiskey forever. He turned to Kakashi and Yamato and tilted his head, considering them. "Something wrong?"
They both looked up at him with truly miserable expressions on their faces. "We're in the doghouse," Yamato said, pouting.
"Ruka mad at you?" Raido asked, raising his eyebrows.
Both heads bobbed in nods.
"Uh oh. What did you do?" He turned to Aio. "Thanks," he said, taking a sip of his sake.
"What didn't we do?" Kakashi asked, frowning into his glass.
"Um, well, let's see. First, Pakkun stole Iruka's favorite shirt and curled up on it."
"That wouldn't have been too bad, because Pakkun really likes Iruka and vice versa. Well, he did like the dog. Not sure anymore. Anyway, then he drooled all over it." Kakashi sighed.
"It got worse. Then the pug stole some of the pork from the dinner Iruka was working on." Yamato took another drink out of his sake bottle.
"And ate it."
"On the shirt. Leaving grease all over it." Yamato finished his bottle and signaled for another.
"Then Bisuke stole his slipper and chewed it all up." Kakashi said.
"But the real kicker was when he came out of the kitchen with some tea set up on a tray to put on the coffee table while he was grading papers."
"His favorite tea pot and cup set." Kakashi said, mournfully.
"And Bull decided to stop right in front of him." Yamato waved at Aio when he brought the new bottle and he drank a good deal of it.
"So, Ruka tripped over him," Kakashi looked almost ready to cry. Which was a truly frightening sight.
"Spilling the tea all over his students' papers and covering himself in it."
"And breaking his favorite tea set."
"Wow. I get why you're in trouble." Raido said, pointing at Kakashi. "They're your dogs, after all." He turned to Yamato. "But why are you in trouble?"
Yamato flushed. "I… um…"
"Oh no, you didn't." Raido said, his eyes closing.
Yamato nodded, a tear actually slipping down his face. "I…" Raido thought he heard an actual whimper. "…laughed."
"Oh man." Raido shook his head. "You guys are fucked."
"We've been kicked out. He told us he didn't care where we slept, didn't care who we slept with, but that we weren't ever coming back and that we'd be lucky if he let us have our uniforms and our clothes."
Raido's eyes widened. "Wow. I didn't even get that."
"He didn't really mean it quite that bad," Kakashi said, draining his bottle.
"After we begged."
"And pleaded."
"He unlocked the door and backed up on that part right away. We're allowed to sleep on the floor in the living room." Yamato pouted.
"But he's moved the couch into the bedroom, refusing to let us have even that much comfort."
"He told us we'd just end up fighting over it, anyway."
Raido stared at them for another moment. "You know, about six months ago, I would have laughed my ass off at you two, then hurried over to comfort him." They looked up and he nearly ran screaming. Raido Namiashi, jounin, nearly ran screaming from the bar. He thought there was a tear in Kakashi's eye. No way, not possible, he couldn't believe that, so he simply refused to see it. He took a deep breath and said, "but instead, I'm going to help you."
The hopeful looks on their faces was almost scarier than the one time he'd seen Yamato's 'scary face.' "Okay. First off, get a piece of paper."
Kakashi pulled a blank scroll out of his vest and handed it to Yamato, who already had a pen in hand. They sat up straight, looking like the kiss-ass students on the first day of school. Raido shook his head. "Okay. Number one. Grovel."
They blinked at him. "Write it down," he said, pointing at the scroll and Yamato did. "Okay, this will only work once for him. Start to give him an honest-to-God formal apology. Down on your knees, forehead to the floor, apology." They were both nodding. "He won't let you finish and he'll forgive you. But it will only work once. Okay?"
"Number two: buy him a new tea set. Replace everything, but don't let him know you did it. Just have it show back up in the cabinet or closet or whatever. He can't argue with it by then, and it'll mean a lot that you did and go a long way toward being fully forgiven." Yamato was scribbling things down and Raido realized that Kakashi had opened his sharingan eye. He was recording it. Good grief. "I broke more than one of his tea cups," Raido said, finishing his sake and signaling for another one. "And that's what I did. He seemed to appreciate it."
"Number three. Cook his ramen for him. Not you," he said, pointing at Yamato, "you'd get brownie points for trying, but you really want back in his bed, so you don't want to make more of a mess than necessary, even if you normally clean up." He paused when he the fresh bottle was delivered. "Instead, you're going to clean up for him. He'll want to help, but I'm sure by now you've figured out how to work around that." Two heads bobbed in agreement.
"Number four. Dango and whiskey. He likes both a lot, though he usually doesn't get the whiskey unless it's at the bar. And you're going to have to do all of this while he's at school or he'll never let you get it all done."
"Lastly, do not forget his birthday. It's in two weeks. Take him to the hot spring spa. Or better yet," he turned to Yamato. "Build him one in the backyard. I know you can do it."
He shook his head at them. "I have a lot of experience trying to apologize to him. If you try, he'll forgive you. But I'd highly suggest having a talk with the nin-pack."
"What do you want?" Kakashi asked.
Raido considered him for a moment. "I want Iruka to be happy. He loves you guys, for reasons beyond comprehension," he said with a smirk. "But he does. You seem, for the most part, to make it work among the three of you. And I'd hate to see something like that fall apart." He sighed. "He'll forgive you eventually one way or the other, but this should help speed things along." He finished his sake and signaled for another from Aio. "Now, go home and try the apology first. He might even let you sleep with him tonight."
Both of them stood up and Kakashi offered his hand. Raido looked up at him briefly, then shook it and the one that Yamato offered. "Good luck."
"Thank you. We owe you one." Yamato said, but Raido shook his head.
"It's enough if you make him happy."
They both stared at him for another moment before they left.
Raido stared into his sake bottle once he was alone. He still missed him. He'd been right, he hadn't loved Ruka like he deserved, but he did care about him and he did care about his happiness. He sighed and took another drink.
"You know, if someone had asked me if I'd ever see Raido Namiashi give advice to Iruka's new boyfriends, I'd have told them they were crazy. My best friend wouldn't do that." Aoba said from next to him.
Raido nodded. "So, you heard the conversation?"
Aoba nodded. "Yup." He signalled to Aio for a drink, then turned to look at Raido again.
"Well, I did. They… seem to be happy for the most part, so I thought I'd help them. 'Sides, I told the truth. I want Ruka to be happy."
"You sure you don't love him?"
Raido shook his head. "I'm sure." He glanced at the other man. "So, what happened with Anko?"
"We split a couple of weeks ago, right before my last mission. Apparently, she has a problem with me ogling men with her." Aoba shrugged. "It wasn't there, anyway. It was fun, while it lasted, but, well, while I don't mind some of her fetishes, she tends to get a little carried away with them, anyway."
"She had a problem with you being bi?" Raido asked, raising his eyebrows.
Aoba nodded. "Yeah. And I kind of figured something else out while I was with her."
"What's that?"
"I think I do prefer guys more." He shrugged. "At least I figured it out."
Raido nodded. "Yeah. Well, um, sorry?"
Aoba shook his head. "Not really. Nothing to be sorry for." He glanced over at his friend and Raido saw him take his glasses off. He looked up at him and Raido couldn't miss the look in his eye.
"Aoba?" Raido downed the rest of his bottle and turned in his seat.
"Hmm?" He drank his own sake, then looked up.
He took a deep breath. "Would you…want to go out with me? Dinner… or something?"
Aobo's smile spread slowly. "Yeah. I would."
"Okay." Raido grinned, then turned back to the bar. He took another breath, reached over and put a hand on Aoba's shoulder. When he did, Raido felt a jolt go through him. Holy shit. That's what Iruka had been talking about. Well, hell. How did he never notice that before? He shook his head to himself. He'd figure that out later. He put his hand back on the bar, swallowed and, to cover up his surprise, he asked, "so, um, then did Anko find someone?"
"Yeah, apparently there's someone here in town that gets off on having that shit done to him. And he is, very much, not gay." Aoba chuckled. He glanced over at his friend, then put his arm around him and Raido had to force himself to concentrate on the conversation.
"Oh really? Who?" Raido asked.
Anko stalked forward to toward the figure on the floor, her four inch spike heeled boots making very little sound on the padded carpet. She admired her handiwork with a wicked grin, tapping the cat 'o nine tails against her thigh.
He wasn't gagged, it was probably the only thing she didn't really like, at least with him. He never failed to give her the best sounds when she worked him over. But his arms were tied behind his back, his ass was already a beautiful shade of red and the butt plug was a firmly in place.
She paced around him to enjoy the lovely look of distress on his face. His legs had been tied up and his cock was currently straining in its little steel cage. His jaw was clenched in his effort to keep from making noise until she gave him permission to.
He had little silver clamps on his nipples, pinching them tightly. He always moaned when she put them on and it invariably made her wetter just doing that. He was sweating with the exertion of holding it all in, and he had beautiful tears running down his face.
She stepped up to him and squatted down, laying a soft kiss on his cheek. "Soon, my dear, soon," she said soothingly, then ran her fingers over his caged cock making him moan quietly, despite his attempts.
She squeezed his balls for his impertinence and he strained further to hold in the whimper. "Very good. Very good. You're pleasing your Mistress."
He bent his head in acknowledgement of the praise.
She stood up and ran the cat o' nine tails across his sore butt gently. He strained further to hold it in. She pulled her hand back, then said with a purr, "you may make noise on the third stroke."
He nodded again. She let it fall with a sharp crack over his butt. He held it in, just barely. She pulled back and brought it down again and she watched the tears fall faster. She was practically dripping, she couldn't wait much longer. She lifted it again, brought it down once more, and came when she heard it.
"BEHOLD THE POWER OF YOUTH, MY YOUTHFUL BEAUTIFUL ANKO! GIVE ME MORE!"
