Bay opened his eye slowly. It was still night time, dark, the stars shining over Suna were beautiful. He took a breath and shifted curling up into a ball. He preferred the outside, even though Naruto and everyone else had tried to let him sleep inside. Indoors was a human thing, he hated inside. It was cramped and if attacked, you could hardly move around. He frowned looking at his missing arm and sighed.
When that demon bitch walked right into the house Bay had followed her. He would have killed her too if he could MOVE, but because she was in her human form and Bay didn’t have a chance before the fight to change to human form… Ok… He really forgot to change into human form. The bitch had the upper hand. She was fast and agile, but she didn’t kill Bay. She wounded him, cut off his arm and left with Naruto.

Bay blamed and hated himself. He would have happily died, but she let him live with the shame of knowing a demon bitch put him in his place, knowing his pack member was taken, knowing he was worthless. Bay had recovered quickly. What could you expect from a god? And everything seemed to cheer up in his world when he found out the bitch had left the blonde Kyuubi vessel alone for two lunatic missing Nin to find… idiot fox.
Bay shifted again looking towards the door when it opened. Yuudai walked outside and sat down beside the large dog leaning into the warm fur. The night was really cold. Bay had a thick layer of fur to protect him but Yuudai was only in a pair of black and red checker print PJ bottoms, and a black tank top. Bay laid his tail over the boy. Yuudai looked at Bay and smiled softly.
“Everyone is asleep…” Bay nodded. He had heard the even breathing of the people inside the house, and he had heard the love making the Kazekage and the ANBU had made. He loved, and yet hated his good hearing
“You should be too.” Yuudai closed his eyes shaking his head.
“I can’t sleep.” Bay looked at the boy and sighed. He closed his eyes changing into a human, wrapping his arm around Yuudai, he felt the smaller boy tense up in his arms. Base smirked resting his head on Yuudai’s shoulder.
“B-Bay! You’re naked! Let go or you’ll freeze to death!” Base shook his head slowly, kissing Yuudai’s cheek softly.
“I am a god, I cannot die.” Yuudai blushed. Bay was warm, even for a human, warm and sexy. Yuudai’s eyes shot open wide. He shook his head covering his face. He did not think Bay was sexy! Not in human form! No never! Base smirked, chuckling.
“I’ll change back if it bothers you so much.” Yuudai blushed beet red shaking his head. He got up, walking towards the house. He opened the door and walked in. Base sighed a bit, running his hand through his hair. He should have just stayed a dog and allowed the boy to just relax. Now he’d just scared Yuudai and was alone.
Base closed his eyes frowning. The door opened again and Yuudai walked out carrying a pair of his father’s pants and a large blanket. Yuudai tossed the pants at Bay while still blushing.
“Put them on,” Yuudai said in a small voice, avoiding eye contact with Bay. Base smirked standing up and slowly pulling the pants on himself. He looked at Yuudai and pulled the boy close kissing his cheek again. Yuudai shifted pulling away, blushing more. He tossed the blanket at Base. The teen caught the blanket and smiled sitting down pulling the material over himself. He lifted the blanket with his arm and smiled beckoning the younger to sit on his lap. Yuudai bit his lip watching Base and sighed walking over and sitting beside him. He blushed feeling the blanket wrap around him as well.
“So what brings you out here master?” Base asked softly, staring at the stars.
“I was... thinking… I don’t know ANYTHING about you…” Base blinked looking down at the boy. He smiled gently shaking his head and laughing softly.
“There is not much to know. I am a wolf god.”
“Where did you come from?” Yuudai glanced at Base and shivered feeling the cold. Even though he was wrapped up it was still chilly outside. He yelped and blushed feeling Base pull him onto his lap. Yuudai closed his eyes listening to the wolf’s heartbeat.
“The mountain… I lived there most of my life with my mom, and all fifty of my siblings.” Yuudai’s eyes went wide. One sibling was bad enough to chase after and play with, but this man had fifty?! Base laughed at Yuudai’s reaction, and continued.
“I left my family. I was on my own for a while, living off of the mountain, when I happened to come across a gang of men. They’d gone to a nearby village and taken a few girls from there and judging by the smell they’d done it before too. The girls were nothing to them but a way to get rid of sexual tension. I chose to ignore it at first, but when of the girls was… was not a girl… He looked like a girl I admit… When they stripped him, I lost it and began to attack the men. I’d killed them before I realized what I was doing.
Your grandfather… He stopped me and took me in. I was a small pup then. Even though I was almost thirteen I was a puppy. He claimed me as a Nin dog and brought me to you…” Yuudai looked at Base and shifted in the older teen’s lap. So Kakashi had stolen the puppy off of the mountain. When Bay was a puppy and was first given to Yuudai, he looked like a shaggy mutt. Now he looked like a wolf, a huge ass fucking wolf.
“Do you miss your family?” Base frowned thinking about it. At first he had missed the forest, the tree’s, and the raw meat he would eat. He missed his mother’s warm touch, her voice, her smell.
“Yes… I miss them VERY much, but you are my family. The second I met eyes with you, Yuudai… I knew…”
“Knew what?” Yuudai asked looking at Base. The teen frowned before standing up and kissing Yuudai softly on the cheek.
“Story time is over Yuudai.” He set Yuudai on the ground before darting off, leaving the brunette standing there wrapped in the blanket. At that second the door to the house opened. Naruto stormed out glaring at the retreating body of the older teen, before he looked at Yuudai his eyes narrowing.
“WHO the HELL was THAT?! “ Yuudai frowned at his mother. Naruto was angry, but why? Yuudai was just with some random stranger Naruto didn’t know, in the middle of the night, outside, alone in the dark, under a blanket, with a half-naked teen. Yuudai blushed beet red. His mother was jumping to conclusions!
“Mom! It’s not what you think! That’s… Base... He’s a friend!” Naruto glared his eye twitching.
“A ‘friend’ huh? Really? How WELL do you know this friend!? And how come I never met him before!? And where is Bay?! Why didn’t he attack him!?” Yuudai sighed, his hand running over his face. His mother was being dramatic. Yuudai looked up hearing the huff of a dogs breathing. Naruto frowned, petting Bay and sighing loudly.
“Mom seriously, Base isn’t a bad guy. I met him… on a mission. He’s really nice… He… He’s the one who saved me back at that snake man’s place.” Naruto tensed looking back at Yuudai.
“You told me… you acted alone.” Yuudai frowned. He lowered his head, shaking.
“I… I couldn’t tell you… I… I’m sorry...”
“Who is he? Tell me Yuudai.” Yuudai bit his lip closing his eyes. He was a smart kid, so lies were easy to come up with.
“He…He’s my boyfriend mom.”

Author notes: Two updates today :3 being sick with a cold and quarantined to my room I end up having a lot of time for updating chapters! lol!
Also for those wondering, While telling the two apart, Bay is only called Bay when he is in wolf form, and Base is always called Base in human form :)
