Talking with Sensei
Koroshi woke, and Anko was sitting in a chair beside her. She noticed when Koroshi woke up. “How are you feeling?” Anko asked, though her voice sounded strange, like she was on guard. “I am a bit sore. How are you feeling, Anko-sensei? You seem…in a bad mood.” “I…guess I am, Koroshi. Orochimaru wanted you…when he threw me away…even after everything we went through together. I loved him.” Koroshi didn’t know what to say. “I am not really angry, but….well, he didn’t even want me, and now he goes and impregnates my student? Is he trying to torture me? Accepting another female, this time one who is so close to me, instead of choosing me, his former student? Why would he…?” “Anko-sensei….” “I know it isn’t your fault, Koroshi, but…Orochimaru isn’t the kind of person who just stops when he has started. He will come back for you. And even though I am angry with him, he saved me from my loneliness. He saved me from being an orphan. He took me into his home, and raised me, cared for me, helped me. He was my friend, my sensei, my….the love of my life…and he wants you….my student…” “Anko-sensei…” “I just…I can’t think right now. I need to go. I am going to leave for a while. I don’t know when I will see or talk to you again, Koroshi. I am sorry.” Anko left, leaving Koroshi feeling defeated and hurt, saddened by Anko’s heart-brokenness.
