Juvia’s eyes widened in horror, “I’m sorry! I just-mm!” Juvia was silenced when Lucy leapt up and pressed her lips to Juvia’s lips. When they finally broke apart for air Juvia was left dazed and flushed, “but your … notes.” She panted breathlessly.
“I think there was a spell on that book.” Lucy said seriously getting a look of worry from the blue haired mage. “Yes. I was in a daze since I picked up the book and look at these marks,” she pointed to some tiny blurred marks on the corner of each page of notes. “I don’t even know what they are so why would I write them? Plus something isn’t adding up about the information in the book.”
“I agree that we shouldn’t trust it if it put a spell on you, but Naruko does actually look sick so if we can’t trust what that book said what do we do?” Juvia said and the two women kneeled down next to the deathly pale blood mage.
Lucy frowned in worry as she unsealed a large blanket and covered Naruko before she maneuvered Naruko’s head onto her lap, “I’m not sure-“ she blinked as Sin floated into the room and locked the door. Considering it seemed to be to annoy the naked male mages trapped outside it was safe to assume Minato was in control again. “I wonder …”
For a second Lucy looked around the damp room and spotted a knife. It must’ve washed up out of the kitchen during the flood. She leaned over and grabbed it. As the sharp silver blade was moved over Naruko’s head the soaked males broke down the back door and a wall to get back in. They didn’t look dazed anymore, merely annoyed, but before they could really start yelling blood mage’s eyes opened weakly. Unfortunately, that ruckus caught Lucy’s attention and the slippery knife slipped out of her grip. The cold blade cut her neck slightly making some blood trickle down her pale skin and drip to the floor.
“I’m sorry! Juvia, could you press on the cut?” Lucy asked, concerned about the blood flow, which seemed fast.
As the men looked for bandages Juvia applied pressure to the cut, “Of course, but what are you-“ Juvia gaped as Lucy took the knife again and cut her own wrist. “What are you doing?!”
“If I’m right, helping Naruko.” Lucy said as she placed the bleeding cut to Naruko’s lips.
Gray glared, “What do you mean if?! You were so sure about what the book said-“
Juvia shot the ice mage a deadly glare that shut him up, “We can’t trust the book. It put a trance on Lucy.” She huffed and they noticed Naruko began drinking the blood.
“What book? I’ll check it out.” Loki asked. Lucy told him before he vanished and returned with said book. “There are spells on this.”
Gray looked a little relieved, “So the rituals and seals aren’t needed.”
“Obviously, it seems she applies seals with her own body.” Lucy muttered and smiled as Naruko suddenly seemed less dazed and strong enough to sit up.
Gajeel raised, “What’s going on here?! What are you talking about?”
Natsu winced as he remembered why he was here, “Lucy found a book about blood mages that made her think Naruko was in danger … but that’s not true, right?”
“I know I feel better.” Naruko said gratefully as she used chakra to heal Lucy’s wrist. “How did you know I needed blood? Even I didn’t think I needed any.”
Gray huffed, “and why the hell is the book suddenly wrong?” He asked with good reason, but he unfortunately used a tone that Juvia didn’t like directed towards Lucy and it resulted in another spray of water going into his face.
Lucy looked at Naruko ignoring the ruckus, “It was kind of a guess. You told us you used to drink blood to learn things in Konoha. You looked very pale. Sin actually looks smaller than when we first saw him. I figured you were just low on fluids.” She with a shrug. “As for the book it was wrong about the need for a ritual to bind her mates. It’s pretty obvious unless you guys always had rings of blood around your dicks.”
Natsu blinked, “What ring-“ He and the other male mages, including Loki and Laxus who were examining the book, looked down.
They all realized two things. One, they did indeed have a ring and seal around the base of their cocks. Two, they had no pants.
Naruko chuckled as her men scattered to find some clothes, “I always thought I only needed to drink blood to get information not to sustain me.”
Lucy shrugged, “You had no reason to keep a constant eye on your surroundings after coming here so you didn’t notice until your body started weakening. Now we know!”
“Yeah … I think I knew something was wrong and my body was trying to tell me, but I couldn’t tell over some other feelings.” Naruko smiled as she heard the ‘that’s my pants’ argument going on in the back of the house. “Now what is this book and what did it want you to do?” She asked seriously as she unsealed some clothes and dressed. She wanted to know exactly what danger she was in.
“I need to do some research into the whys, but it was a spell bound book I found in the celestial world. Even under the spell I could see and feel everything. It … the book seemed to want you dead. It seemed to be trying to compel me to perform a ritual where I slit your throat. If you were that weak it would’ve killed you.” Lucy admitted trying to make sense of it.
Loki, with a pair of pants now, came over with said book, “I remember a guy by this name. He had a group that hated certain mages. I think blood mages may have been on their list. There were a lot of traps so this could’ve been one of them.”
Juvia frowned, “That may be why blood mages are so rare but why do that?”
“People don’t need a good reason to hate.” Minato huffed leading to a slightly awkward silence.
Happy and Lily finally poked their heads in and found it safe to fly in, “So who’s doing the Grand Magic Games? We have a month left to train, right?” He said cheerily trying to brighten the mood.
Naruko smiled and opened her mouth, but then Minato cut her off, “No.”
“And why not?” Naruko asked with her hands firmly on her hips.
“The Magic Games are broadcast, right?” Minato asked getting a nod from Laxus. “Then definitely not going to happen.” The bloody wraith said and Naruko’s eyes narrowed.

“We’re here.” Danzo hissed as he guided the blind Hiruzen through the dark streets of the sleeping town of Magnolia. “That’ll do for now.”
“What will?” Hiruzen asked as he focused on where he was stepping so he didn’t trip.
Danzo scowled in annoyance as he helped Hiruzen up a step, “A shelter …” he said as he used chakra to unlock the door so they could walk right in. “We can stay here for a while. Have any issues with green eyes?”
“Not at all.” Hiruzen said with a cruel smirk as he felt his companion move him onto a chair before walking away. Moments later Danzo returned and did something to his empty eye sockets. Hiruzen blinked a few times and slowly his vision returned. The first thing he saw was Danzo getting rid of the body of an old man who was missing his eyes. “Fishing enthusiast huh …it's easy to disappear when out fishing.” He commented as he looked at the photos hanging on the walls.
“My thoughts exactly and now that we have the chance to rest and heal do you be useful and help me dispose of this guy.” Danzo huffed as he cut off the man’s limbs. They stuffed the man into a cooler and sent him adrift on his boat.
From then on they listened and waited. They learned about two guilds in the area called Sabertooth and Fairy Tail and their locations. Apparently, most of the people in those guilds were a competition called the Grand Magic Games.
“So Fairy Tail is in the lead already?! I thought the first round started only two minutes ago!” A civilian exclaimed in shock not realizing Danzo was walking passed him.
The shop owner grinned, “Yep! A new woman named Naruko used an amazing trick with her own blood and it bit all the other competitors getting them the most points! I’ll show you… I recorded it on my lacrima.”
Danzo watched from around the corner as a crystal ball was pulled up from behind the counter. His eyes narrowed as he saw Naruko volunteer for one of Fairy Tail teams to participate in the first round against other guilds. It was basically an amped up version of tag. Touch your opponent and get points, but you’re transported to a new place with every decoy, made to resemble the other opponents. Naruko slit her wrist and hundreds of red balls with sharp teeth and bat wings scattered around. With every decoy the bat creatures were transported everywhere and soon all of her opponents were bitten many times. She ranked up an incredible number of points leading to her team’s victory.
A scowl came to Danzo’s lips before quickly heading back to the house he was staying at with Hiruzen. When he slipped back into the house he smirked.
“Finally. A good sign.” Danzo said upon seeing that 6 more of his ROOT agents have managed to survive and return to him. “We’ll need everyone. It seems the demon has been hiding much more than we thought possible.”
Hiruzen looked up from the papers he was drawing on, “What do you mean?”
“She is taking part in some competition and has a blood based jutsu that I never saw before. The best thing we can do is wait here. The competition is sure to drain her and everyone else as well.” Danzo pondered logically.
“Yes. That will help and I made some seals that should guarantee that we catch her, but we need to be careful. Jiraiya should be here soon too.” Hiruzen commented .
A ROOT agent stepped forward and bowed, “Jiraiya was spotted only moments ago. He and his companions seem to be setting up camp near Fairy Tail and waiting for their return.”
“Damn.” Hiruzen hissed. “It won’t be easy to get my seals on her if he’s watching.”
“We’ll see. I think I can persuade one of the few Fairy Tail members here to help.” Danzo said as he pulled the bandages revealing a red Sharingan. Taking care to not be spotted by anyone from Jiraiya’s group.
The unfortunate person turned out to be Macao’s son, Romeo. The kind teen saw Danzo walking through the streets mere days after the Grand Magic Games finished and suddenly hunch over. He ran over thinking the old man was in need of some help. Unfortunately, the second Romeo got too close he saw a red spinning eye and everything went black ...

“Now stop sulking, Dad. We won the Magic Games and I found three more mates.” Naruko said cheerily at the little set of eyeballs floating alongside her as she packed.
Minato could be heard grumbling, “Yes, but what if any ninjas were in the area and heard a broadcast? They could be waiting and I didn’t set up seals around Magnolia.” He said cursing himself for not taking time to set up some seals.
“You guys shouldn’t worry!” Lucy yelled from the next room over before coming into the room. “I’m sure all your mates won’t let a ninja anywhere near you. Speaking of-“ a blur zipped passed the celestial mage making her smirk when a silver haired mage appeared holding Naruko firmly by the waist. “They’re all here. Good timing too, I found some things when researching and you guys might want to hear this.”
“Of course,” Naruko swiveled her hips against the silvery haired man’s body. “Lyon, you have to let go.”
Lyon blushed, “I … ok!” He yelped slightly and ducked the swipe of Minato’s scythe.
“Don’t be grouchy.” Naruko warned flicking her father’s disembodied eye earning a grumbled.
Lucy chuckled as she sat with Juvia, “While you guys were taking care of the Grand Magic Games I found some things.”
Natsu quickly looked over Lucy’s shoulder when she unsealed some papers, “Seals applied to vag-“
Juvia, who was blushing brightly, hit Natsu right on the head, “Not that page!”
Gray smirked at Lucy, “Had more than one project going huh?”
“Perhaps.” Lucy smiled unashamedly making Juvia blush even more. “Now about that research. I didn’t find too much about blood mages themselves because they actually were persecuted for their need of blood and sex, which I assume is to help them sustain their health. Hateful groups, like the ones who made that book, tried to use cursed traps to instill fear in those who care for a blood mage, which is amplified and controlled with magic.”
“So these traps would trick someone into killing a loved one?” A young dark haired man named Rouge asked in horror as his friend, Sting, scowled at the horrible thought.
“Finding the people who knew about a blood mage was easier than finding an actual blood mage and the people behind it, who were mostly arrested, attempted to cover their tracks. I looked up the little symbols I wrote on my notes on that book and if Juvia didn’t soak them those marks would’ve exploded.” Lucy said with a noticeable flinch. The thought of the notes she carried just exploding was unnerving to say the least.
Laxus frowned, “That does explain why it’s hard to find a blood mage. Most could’ve been killed or they left.”
“Yeah … I did find the name of a group of blood mages who left Fiore completely because of the danger. Their name was Uzumaki.” Lucy said sadly as a bloody Minato formed next to her to see the reports.
Minato looked saddened, “Kushina’s family escaped to the Elemental nations just to obtain a demon and become a target again.” A silence followed that sad comment. It truly seemed unfair. All the Uzumakis wanted was to be safe and happy, but it wasn’t meant to be.
Elfman blushed slightly, “but if sex helps blood mages why did Naruko look so sick that other time?”
“From what I saw,” Lucy said and smirked at the slight blushes from many of the men there. “It takes a fair amount of blood for Naruko to put those on you guys. It may have taken too much blood the first time to be effective especially since she was already weakened. Might be best to mark one new mate at a time.”
Lyon immediately held Naruko close, “Me first-gah!”
Gray kicked Lyon off of Naruko, “Don’t you have your own guild to get back to?!”
“I got permission to stay in Magnolia!” Lyon smirked much to Gray’s irritation.
Sting grinned, “Looks like we’re all going to Magnolia.
All of her mates, including her new mates Sting, Rouge and Lyon, joined the rest of her guild and they began the journey back to Fairy Tail. It was a peaceful trek back, but they knew something was off. Macao was waiting with his son for everyone at the edge of town.
“We thought you should know some ninjas have camped out in the trees next to Fairy Tail. I had everyone pretend to ignore them until you guys returned.” Macao said and couldn’t help but smirk too just like everyone else. Everyone had a bone to pick with those ninjas.
Romeo smiled and pulled out a present with a white ribbon, “I got this for you, Naruko!”
Naruko took the package with a smile, “Thank you-“ She became completely rigid and hundreds of black seals snaked their way up her arms and before anyone could even process what was happening she vanished in a puff of smoke ...

Naruko felt that she was in a different place, but couldn’t move at all. She stood frozen in place as some people walked up behind her.
