Naruto frowned looking at the people in the room, he hated to be woken up after such a wonderful dream, he’d had a dream he was a fox, running freely through the forest without a fucking care in the world, now he was a human teen sitting in the hospital, with the people in his life surrounding him, he glared at Deidara frowning, the blonde man failed, Deidara was so good at keeping people from waking Naruto, so something must have been up, something important, Naruto sighed rubbing his eyes frowning, he was really tired, he just wanted to sleep, he just wanted to go away from everything
“Naruto, we…. Have all been talking….” Iruka fought back a sob, he looked away rubbing his eyes, he couldn’t do it, he couldn’t tell Naruto the boy was leaving to go away for a year!
“Naruto, how would you like to go to japan for a year?” Kakashi asked softly as he held Iruka, Naruto blinked at the silver haired man then frowned, the last time they’d all gone on a family vacation, Iruka got hit on by the hotel clerk and Kakashi almost killed her, Konohamaru almost burned the hotel down, Naruto had made the three swear no more family vacations
“No more family vacations, that was the deal” Kakashi sighed rubbing his eyes
“I mean… With Itachi, Itachi is going to japan tomorrow, he wants you to go there on a business trip, do some work in the hotels” Naruto frowned looking at Iruka and Kakashi, they were serious?
“You’re… going to let me go to japan…. For a year…. Without you?” Iruka held back a sob as he nodded; Naruto smiled at Itachi his eyes sparkling
“I take back everything I thought about you in the last ten hours, you’re awesome!!” Itachi’s eye twitched a bit, but he didn’t say anything; he’d rather NOT know what Naruto thought about him
“So that’s a yes then?” Deidara asked softly petting the blonde, Naruto nodded smiling brightly, he was finally going to go to japan! Get away from everything!

Naruto smiled looking over his bags, he’d packed everything he would need for his trip, some clothes, his books, laptop, iPod, and a few pictures of his family, he was going to miss them dearly, but it was only for a year, and he really couldn’t handle everything happening all at once, he needed this break, Naruto looked up hearing a knock on the door
“Come in” Naruto frowned watching the younger Uchiha walk in, Naruto watched the boy walk to him and sit beside him on the bed, both sat in silence for a moment before Sasuke spoke up
“You know… I wish we had known each other a bit better…” Naruto frowned a bit sighing
“I’m just going for a year I’m not dying”
“A year is a life time for some people…” Naruto looked at Sasuke and sighed, he leaned over kissing the brunette softly on the lips
“Just shut up, I’ll come back, and we can talk every day, phone calls, emails, text messages” Sasuke blushed faintly touching his lips, it was the first kiss he’d gotten from the blonde, that wasn’t over ten years old, or wasn’t forced by the need to feel love, Sasuke shifted then huffed a bit shaking his head
“Fine Come on I’m supposed to take you to the airport to meet Itachi and Deidara” Naruto stood up picking up his bags, he blushed when Sasuke took them from his hand and walked out, Naruto smirked skipping after the brunette.
The drive to the airport was silent; Naruto looked around Sasuke’s car, it was nice, comfy, almost like Itachi’s but it seemed, comfier, Naruto blinked seeing a small pocket book in the back, he picked it up and opened it, the first page held a picture, Naruto frowned, a younger looking Itachi, sixteen maybe, a small Naruto about nine, and a nine year old Sasuke, Naruto frowned staring at the picture
“We knew.. each other as kids?” Sasuke smirked having noticed Naruto’s expression at the corner of his eye as he drove
“Yep, I came for a visit from japan, you claimed me to be your ‘second husband’ since Itachi was your first” Naruto blushed a deep shade of red, he looked away from the younger Uchiha, he shifted a bit in his seat, he’d forgotten about Sasuke at first, but now he vaguely remembered the day he’d met the Uchiha boy, he swore Sasuke was a smaller cloned of Itachi and made the brunette child promise to marry him, Naruto had sworn he was going to have a small harem of men, Naruto looked at Sasuke again then shifted, Sasuke was a cold and closed off child, but now Naruto saw another side, Sasuke was caring –in his own broody way-, and sweet, He’d kept the picture of them so close, for so long
“I won’t break my promise Naruto, If you still want me as your second husband, I will gladly take that title” Naruto frowned at Sasuke and huffed
“Like hell I want you as my second husband” Sasuke frowned feeling his heart tighten, he pulled up to a red light and blushed when Naruto wrapped his arms around him, their lips touching again
“I want you as my first husband, bastard” Sasuke smirked faintly shaking his head, Naruto seriously hadn’t changed one damn bit.

Naruto smiled as he walked into the airport, he looked back at Sasuke as the younger Uchiha carried the bags inside, it was just two small duffle bags, Naruto watched the boy lead him off towards the international part of the airport, Naruto brightened up seeing Itachi and Deidara standing over by one of the ticket booths, he smiled running over hugging Deidara’s arm beaming brightly, Deidara looked at Naruto and smiled hugging him
“You all packed kid?” Naruto nodded his eyes sparkling with excitement
“You said good bye to your parents and Konohamaru?” Naruto nodded smiling softly, it was hard because Konohamaru and Iruka latched onto the blonde and refused to let go, it took Kakashi and his mighty strength to pry the two off, it was rather shocking seeing the silver haired man struggle with the two so hard, it was hilarious, Naruto looked back at Sasuke and smiled when the brunette set the bags down letting the lady scan them in, Naruto checked his pockets making sure he had his iPod, it was going to be a long flight and he was not letting himself get bored, Itachi handed Deidara and Naruto a ticket each, and handed back their passports, Naruto beamed bouncing
“Let’s go” Itachi said as he walked off towards the gates, Deidara close behind him, Naruto began to walk towards them but stopped, he turned to Sasuke kissing him once more on the lips, before he ran off after Itachi and Deidara, Sasuke touched his lips softly and smiled walking off back towards the car, it was going to be an interesting year.
