Naruto stood in front of Tsunade’s desk, watching her as she read over the report. They’d gotten information from Yuudai explaining how the snake Nin must have used a forbidden jutsu to bring himself back. Now what shocked Naruto was how the hell his son knew this, and how did his son kill Orochimaru, burn the body, and save Naruto and Sasuke without any help!? It was shocking, and very frightening. Yuudai was lying about something. He had to of been lying about something! There was no way… Yuudai was good, but he wasn’t THAT good.
There was no way Yuudai could take on an ANBU member, a Chuunin, and a missing Nin BY HIMSELF. Someone had to of helped, but the only other one there in the room when Naruto came to was Bay and he’s a crippled dog with injuries. So someone else must have helped Yuudai and left. Yuudai was sticking up for the person, almost protecting them, maybe a secret crush? Naruto glared biting his tongue. Yuudai was too young, there was no way he’d let Yuudai have a crush! Never in a million years! Yuudai was going to be an innocent little boy forever if Naruto had anything to say about it.
“You can go Naruto. I have read the report and something is off but… I doubt you would be able to tell me. You were under hypnosis. You don’t even remember attacking your… teammates.” Naruto frowned. He had a vague memory of harming his son. It killed him, but not even his demon could break the hold Orochimaru had on him.
“I will be leaving with Yuudai tonight, to get to Suna by tomorrow morning,” Naruto said before bowing to the woman. He wanted to get to Suna as soon as he could. He wanted to feel safe with his lover and his children. He wasn’t going to come back until he had to. Naruto walked towards the door but stopped hearing Tsunade’s voice.
“I will see you in a few weeks, Naruto… Enjoy yourself,” she said, softly smiling at the blonde. Naruto smiled shaking his head before walking out. She was a bitch and completely evil sometimes, but she was still his granny figure. He smirked at the thought. Naruto walked down the endless staircase towards the entrance of the Hokage tower.

“So, exactly why did you save me?” Yuudai asked softly as he packed his things looking at the large dog in his room. Bay shifted in his spot before leaning over licking Yuudai’s cheek. The boy glared jumping back.
“Stop licking me! It’s gross!” Bay’s tail thumped on the floor, Yuudai rolled his eyes.
“Can you not talk in that form or something?”
“I can, I just prefer kissing you. Your reactions are very cute.” Yuudai’s eyes shot open wide. He’d heard the voice but Bay’s mouth didn’t move. He’d talked to some of Kakashi’s dogs once. The ones that did speak, their mouths moved when they talked, but not Bay’s.
“How come... Your mouth doesn’t move?” Bay blinked at Yuudai then shook his head looking away, going quite again.
“Hey, don’t ignore me!”
“Yuudai…. are you ok?” Naruto walked into the room slowly, a worried look on his face. He was seriously worried his son might have been losing his mind.
“I…. I was telling Bay to get out… He’s ignoring me.” Naruto blinked then chuckled walking over petting Bay’s thick fur, smiling when the dog rested his large head on Naruto’s shoulder. Naruto stumbled at the weight then smiled,
“Mom, when are we leaving to go to Suna?” Naruto smiled softly, petting behind Bay’s ear.
“Soon… I just need to pack a few things. You done packing?” Yuudai nodded watching as his mother walked out of the room. He sighed softly petting Bay.
“Stupid dog”

The trip to Suna took longer than Naruto had hoped. They had left right after Naruto was finished packing and traveled all that night and well into the next day. It was now nightfall and they were still a few hours away because Bay refused to stay home and be watched by Kakashi. The dog had just followed and after two hours of yelling at him to go back, they’d finally given up and walked alongside the limping dog.
Naruto was getting irritated. He wanted to be in Suna already. Naruto looked back at Yuudai and Bay. The dog was limping along slowly watching Yuudai as the smaller boy walked in front of him. Kit sat happily on Naruto’s neck. Naruto frowned. Something was different and very off about Bay. Dogs never stared at their master’s with THAT look. It was as if Bay was falling for Yuudai and upon thinking about it, Yuudai was becoming friendlier to the dog.
Naruto frowned and walked to Yuudai glaring at Bay. He walked alongside the boy. It was nearly two hours before they arrived at the gates of Suna. Naruto took a small breath and looking at the two guards, he smiled waving to them. Watching the gates open, he smiled at Yuudai. Yuudai smiled back at Naruto. It was the first time Naruto had truly smiled in days.
“Mommy!!” Naruto smiled picking Daichi up, holding him close before kissing his head softly. “Dai where is your father?” Daichi giggled holding tightly onto Naruto before placing his head on Naruto’s chest and closing his eyes to hear the faint thumping of Naruto’s heart.
“Workin.’” Naruto sighed looking at Temari as the blonde woman ran up to them panting. So she was the one in charge of taking care of Suna’s tornado.
“Thanks Temari, you can go. I got him.” The blonde woman nodded still panting, her cheeks red and her body shaking. Daichi was an invincible force of energy not to be messed with. It was a full time job for Yuudai and Naruto both to keep up with Daichi. The second he could walk, Daichi was gone- always running off somewhere to meet someone or to see something.
Naruto smiled as he held Daichi then looked back as Bay walked up and sniffed the smaller boy. Daichi squealed grabbing the dogs face and pulling him close. Naruto let out a sighing breath. He smiled shaking his head. Things had gotten easier when Bay came into their lives. The dog could easily keep up with Daichi and even foiled the plans of an assassin Nin who’d tried to kidnap Daichi, to get at Gaara. Bay was part of their family.
