Yuudai opened his eyes slowly. He shook, coughing softly as he sat up. Looking down he closed his eyes, he was naked but he didn’t feel sore. He had agreed to the snake man’s terms to do unspeakable acts to the man so his mother could be free.

Yuudai shook, eyes going wide scanning the room. No snake man. A large fire was built in the center of the room, his mother and Sasuke lay asleep in the corner of the room. Yuudai tensed feeling a hand placed on his arm. Looking over his eyes filled with tears. The black haired, yellow eyed teen from earlier sat beside him. Those yellow eyes were soft with understanding. Yuudai shook, hugging the boy and sobbing into his chest. He would never admit it, but he had been scared. Scared he would be dead, or his mother would die. He was scared to lose his virginity in such a way.

Base held the boy close letting him sob, wrapping a blanket around the small nude boy. Base took a breath closing his eyes waiting for the boy to compose himself.

“W-where is he?” Base knew who Yuudai meant by ‘he.’ Slowly the yellow eyed boy lifted his hand pointing to the fire in the center of the room. Yuudai’s eyes went wide, the man was dead? How?

“He touched you… I will never let him touch you… no one can touch you.” Yuudai shook, closing his eyes relaxing into the older boy’s arms and feeling relaxed enough to do so. Base growled at the fire, his eyes flashing red. No one touched HIS Yuudai.

Base leaned against the wall holding the small brunette close letting his mind slip off and wander. What if he had been ten minutes later? What if he didn’t have the power to kill the beast Orochimaru?

~Flash back~

Base growled jumping back when the door slammed shut on him. His eyes narrowed as he scanned the area. He wasn’t going to let his master out of his sight! Base looked down at the small frantic fox growling.

“Find me a way in, or you’re dinner.” Kit startled darting off to find a way in for the large dog. Base growled following after the fox watching her every move. She was hurrying to find a way in, either for her own skin, or she really cared for her master. Base pulled at the wall of a small opening, cracking it open wider. He looked down at the fox and smirked.

“You did well; you could be of use to me yet.”

“Didn’t do it for you dog breath. Yuudai is MY master too!” Base rolled his eyes. Running off inside the palace, he changed into his human form grabbing some pants from one of the darkened bedrooms. Taking a breath he walked back out into the hall, his eyes adjusting to the darkness. His night vision was much better than any Nin. He was the son of the great Okami, god of the mountain. He would be a laughing stock if a Nin could out do him!

Base tensed, his ears perking up hearing the scream from Yuudai. Growling, his eyes going red, he bolted down the hall following the smell of Yuudai- Yuudai’s fear, Yuudai’s shame, Yuudai’s sweat. Base growled, kicking down the door to the room. Without thinking he pushed the two men by the door away, his mind on one thing, ‘protect his master.’

Base ran over to the pale man, grabbing him by the neck crushing his wind pipe. This man smelt of death. He’d used a forbidden jutsu at one point, but his body was still decaying. Base growled seeing nothing but red. When it was over, nothing was left but scraps of the man’s decaying flesh in his hands. Base started a fire and burned the body. He would NEVER let Yuudai see such carnage. He would never let the boy face such nightmares. Yuudai was Base’s master, his owner, his… family.

~End~

Base looked down at Yuudai and frowned, his ears picking up the sounds of Naruto groaning awake. Base kissed Yuudai’s cheek softly before changing back into a dog before the blonde noticed him. Base would keep his identity a secret. He didn’t want to be banished because he was thought of as a ‘demon wolf’.

“Y-Yuudai!?” Naruto screamed as he ran over to the boy picking up his naked son. Naruto glared at Sasuke who by now was beginning to stand.

“We need to get back to Konoha! Yuudai… Yuudai…”

“I-I’m fine mama… Bay… He saved me” Yuudai said faintly, his hand dropping down to the dog’s nose scratching under his chin. Naruto sobbed as he held Yuudai rocking his son back and forth. Bay stood to his feet, his tail wagging as he began to lead the group out. He’d leave it up to Yuudai to come up with some cock-a-bullshit story on where Orochimaru had gone and how that fire was started.

“OW! Mom that hurts!!” Yuudai shouted to the blonde holding his bruised, blistered, and cut neck, as he curled up. He would be a baby, he deserved it. After all he’d gone through Yuudai wanted to be babied and he wanted to be treated like a kid.

“I’m sorry but I got to clean it Yuudai. It hurts a lot because it’s working. I don’t want you getting an infection…” Naruto said softly, cleaning Yuudai’s neck and again gaining another cry of protest. Sasuke growled, his eye twitching as he watched the two. They were a day away from Konoha but they’d stopped traveling so Naruto could play nurse and mommy for a while.

“OH give it up already Yuudai. You’re a Nin! Stop acting like a child!” Sasuke said in a harsh uncaring tone, but within a second he regretted it.

“I am SORRY Sasuke, are you talking to MY son like that?” Sasuke tensed suppressing a shudder. Naruto was scary, REALLY scary right now. The blonde looked about ready to stab something VERY important to the Uchiha, but Sasuke was an Uchiha! And Uchiha’s never backed down from a fight.

“No, I am talking to MY son like that Naruto.” Yuudai watched as his mother threw five Kunai at the Uchiha, before both darted off into the forest fighting. Yuudai sighed leaning against Bay’s large body.

“Thank you Bay… I… thank you.” Yuudai shuddered closing his eyes feeling the dogs tongue run up his face.

“Ugh! Gross! Bay! Damn it! Go away! No! Bad boy!” Bay smirked a little at the boy before placing his tail on top of him, Bay lightly rubbed his nose against the boy’s arm. I’ll protect you Yuudai, until the end of our existence. Yuudai blushed looking at Bay and frowned. He honestly had no idea what the dog was thinking, but he was glad Bay was there to help save him and his mom. He’d keep Bay being a demon a secret for a while. It could help him a lot of missions. Yuudai smiled petting kit as she snuggled up in his lap falling asleep. Yuudai yawned, his eyes drooping as sleep finally took him.
