“I’m taking any images you saw.” Laxus said coldly as electricity twisted around his hand, which was reaching for the man’s neck. It may not be a threat he can keep, but he did electrocute the creep into unconsciousness for seeing Naruko slightly undressed.

Makarov chuckled as he saw his grandson come into the guild with Naruko Minato, who was just a cloud of red vapors and two angry eyes floating with them, glaring at his arm, which was around Naruko’s shoulders, “Have a nice time?” he asked knowing, more or less, what happened.
“No.” Minato’s disembodied voice grumbled and the vapors grouped together to create the scythe, which just hovered threateningly in the air a little too close to Laxus’ neck for the lightening dragon slayer to feel comfortable.
Naruko rolled her eyes at her father’s behavior, “It went well. The murderer turned out to be an ex boyfriend of the hotel owner who was pissed when the chef of the hotel came into the picture. Somehow he found some hidden passages and used them to ruin the hotel to get some revenge.”
Mirajane tilted her head curiously, “So the most romantic hotel was nearly destroyed because of a broken heart. How oddly romantic and very dark. I bet the business will go way up after this!”
“That will depend on how fast the police close things up and there were some theories that imply this was more because of a drug ring than love. ” Lexus said ducking a swipe from the bloody blade.

“Naruko just came back. It’s a bit fast to take a mission now.” Laxus stated with a hint of possessiveness in his tone.
“If you’re worried then let’s all go.” Gajeel said almost daring Laxus to pick a fight. His instincts were like Natsu’s in that he didn’t want to fight with those he could tell were also hers, which he thought Laxus would feel as well seeing that he was a dragon slayer too. However, maybe it was being confused with a protective feeling. A strange sense of dread ...
Naruko nodded almost in a daze,”Yes. I like that idea.” She said feeling like she needed to be near them. It was odd and slightly painful, however, even Sin was tugging at her mind as if trying to get her to go. She wondered if her father felt the almost painful need, but the cranky grumble from the vapors of blood told her Minato was in the dark.
Makarov smiled as he noticed a tinge of red at the tips of Naruko’s blonde locks, “Did you do something with your hair? It’s nice.” The smile faded slightly as the blond we looked confused and laughed, “Could be my old eyes! … oh! There’s a certain king who might like to join you on this mission.”
Naruko raised an eyebrow in confusion, but then beamed when she saw Jellal stand up from one of the chairs in the back. It took the king of Edolas less time than she thought to train his chakra to the necessary level he’d need to activate the hiraishin seals to get here and she couldn’t be happier even with the odd feeling lingering over her ...

“Here.” Jiraiya circled the spot on the map for everyone to see, “in order for this seal network to work the center seal needs to be in this range.”
Hiashi frowned as he viewed the other marks that mapped out the large seal, which was so extensive that multiple maps had to be spread across the floor to display it all, “We aren’t dealing with an amateur … this person is truly skilled to get all this done without anyone seeing.”
Jiraiya nodded, “and in under a year no less … Minato was the only one I knew who could accomplish anything close to this … that adds to my theory …” He muttered.
Shikaku raised an eyebrow, “You mean your theory about someone from Magnolia being involved?” He asked to clarify since he himself found it hard to believe.
Jiraiya may have been too scrambled and guilt ridden to see the flaw in his logic, but he doubted anyone that far away would’ve known about Naruko and yet not help Kushina or her daughter much sooner. It didn’t seem likely that going on the mission to Magnolia set things in motion especially with this advanced seal in the picture. If he had to guess someone in the village actually paid attention, like Orochimaru did, and got the seal ready and simply used the Magnolia mission as a well timed diversion because he knew of her connection. It could be a wild goose chase like how team 7 was murdered and Stone was framed or a trap. Either way it seemed unlikely that Naruko would be there if this person knows her connection to the place since they’d have to assume Kushina told someone about it. It wouldn’t be a good hiding place for her.
What Shikaku didn’t consider is that she’s not trying to hide ..
“Well can any of you think of one person in the Elemental nations who has a reputation with advanced seals besides Minato?” Jiraiya said pointedly and nodded when no one answered. Even Shikaku couldn’t rationalize that logic. “I didn’t think so … we aren’t dealing with a ninja, but we’ll find out who soon.”
Tsume smirked eagerly, “Right! Everyone break up into groups and try to search for the seal as subtly as possible. As soon as we find it we will confront the hokage with the evidence we’ve discovered so use this chance to find a strategic position for the potential battle. Move out!”
During the night the army of rebels searched the small range. No stone or leaf was left unturned. Despite everything they were having trouble finding it. Even with the Aburames’ insects assisting with the hardest places to search nothing was coming up. It was now morning and they had to be alert.
“This guy is something if even you can’t find a seal.” Tsume muttered. She raised an eyebrow as she saw him zone out with a very distant look in his eyes, “where’d you go just now?”
Jiraiya turned as if he didn’t even hear her and raced off, “A place I can’t find … a place I can’t find …” he muttered repeatedly.
There was one person who joked about knowing a spot that no one could find …
Flashback
“Watch It!” Jiraiya snapped as Orochimaru grabbed a mini Minato by the collar and yanked him away before the paper exploded. “Dammit, Minato! I said to be careful and not put chakra in until I checked it!”
“Sorry, Jiraiya-sensei.” Minato pouted as the snake sage pot him down.
Orochimaru chuckled, “Calm down, Jiraiya. I think he understands the danger of seals after that. Right, Minato?” The snake sage said in a far more laid back manner than Jiraiya.
“Yes, sensei.” Minato breathed trying to calm his heart down.
Jiraiya sighed in relief, “I’m starting to understand why sensei looked so old after only a year of training us. You’re giving me gray hair, kid!” He whined making Minato bl8sh sheepishly.
“Now you can’t blame him when you already have gray hair.” Orochimaru commented pointing at the toad sage’s naturally white hair as he sat down on the ground next to Minato.
“Very funny.” Jiraiya huffed Andy plopped down on the ground, “Seals can be hidden anywhere, put on anything and do almost anything, but you have to get the basics down first and that includes not blowing yourself up!”
Minato smiled sheepishly, “I’ll be careful … where is the best place to hide a seal?” He asked trying to change the subject.
“That depends on the size, range and place you’re in-“ Jiraiya pouted as Orochimaru smirked, “what’s so funny?”
“I know the best place.” The sage said.
Jiraiya huffed, “there are way too many options for there to be one!” Jiraiya said childishly.
“But there is a place. It’s a place no one thinks about because ninjas are always into it, decent people won’t think it’d be there, logical people won’t think it’d work well without protection from water and perverts like you will get distracted.” Orochimaru smirked knowingly.
Jiraiya tried to think of what it was his former teammate was talking about, but wasn’t finding the answer, “Fine … what is it?” Jiraiya asked curiously.
Orochimaru smirked, “it’s simple …”
Flashback Over
“If I’m right then this guy is someone we know … it must be … Orochimaru must’ve told someone before he died. Besides Minato he was the only one who knew.” Jiraiya growled as he picked up speed.
Without any of his usual care he jumped into the women’s side of the hot spring. Of course, his was immediately met with glares of pure anger from the naked women who were just relaxing in the hot water until he showed up. Instead of Jiraiya getting the usual beat down, though, the women froze in actual terror at the anger in his eyes.
“Get out!” He snapped harshly not even taking notice of the state of undress the women were in as they scattered. All his focus was on the decorative stones people sit on.
Only seconds later Tsume found Jiraiya ripping the stones out one at a time and inspecting them, “Jiraiya what the hell-“ Tsume’s jaw dropped when she spotted seals on the bottom of the eighth stone, “is that it?”
“Yeah …” Jiraiya murmured as he checked the blood, chakra and style of writing the seals were in. The writing style was very familiar, but not conclusive. The blood and chakra were tested using a scroll, but the results made him pale ad bring out a second scroll. The scroll opened the second it tapped the seal ...
Tsume twitched in annoyance, “Well? Do you know who made this seal?”
“Have everyone ready to fight.” Jiraiya said dully and jumped away before any more could be said.
Each second brought him closer to the hokage tower …

“Who’s Naruko?” Loki asked.
Lucy rolled her eyes, “She’s our new teammate.” She smirked and henged into Naruko causing Loki to pass out from blood loss due to a nosebleed. ”Oops … sorry guys, we’ll have to wait until he wakes up so he can get Naruko.” Lucy said as she changed back, but while Natsu and Gray sulked about not having Naruko in the spirit world with them to enjoy the amazing sights.
As they waited Lucy and Juvia walked together shly through the bookshelves just enjoying each others company. It was peaceful until Lucy spotted an odd book. The title was about blood mages …
With an eager curiosity Lucy took the book and skimmed it. Every page made her pae more, “Wake up, Loki! We need to leave now!” everyone deadpanned as Lucy basically resorted to slapping Loki to try and wake him, but she had a good reason to be in a panic ...
