Yuudai frowned listening to everything Sasuke was telling him about how to control the Sharingan. Apparently it was a powerful whatever, whatever to protect. Yeah, Yuudai had stopped listening after a while. When he needed to use his eyes to put someone in a something or other, then he’d listen. Yuudai yawned, rubbing his eyes frowning when Bay leaned against him. Yuudai huffed, pulling away glaring at the dog.
“Stop touching me.” He blinked looking up hearing a chirp. Looking over he beamed seeing the fox run to him.
“Kits back! Mom must want us.” Sasuke frowned looking at the fox. He nodded slowly getting up from his seated position.
“Let’s go then.” Yuudai nodded darting off holding kit close as he did, Bay following close behind. Sasuke jumped after the boy frowning. Something was not sitting right. Yuudai stopped a few minutes later and began to sniff the air. He frowned, his face darkening. It smelt horrible, like his moms room after Gaara and his mom had “private time.” Yuudai scanned the area and frowned seeing below his comrades and sensei. Yuudai looked again, but there was no sign of his mom.
“Mom?” He called out in a hushed tone, but nothing. Yuudai frowned looking at Sasuke, a worried expression on his face. Sasuke walked up to the boy frowning as he scanned the area. It was an obvious trap, not something an Uchiha would fall for… but something an idiot would. Sasuke sighed rubbing his eyes. Looking around again, his eyes widened seeing a headband on the tree. Sasuke walked over picking it up, his eyes going wide.
Sound.
Sasuke looked at Yuudai and glared.
“This is it kid. Get back home, get Kakashi and anyone else who can actually do something,” Sasuke said looking at the head band. Why was there a sound headband here?! Orochimaru and Kabuto were both dead! He’d killed them and brought Orochimaru’s head with him!
“What is going on!? Where is mom?!” Sasuke glared at Yuudai growling softly.
“A monster... much worse than any demon, has him. Now go get help. Tell the Hokage… Orochimaru is back somehow.” Yuudai frowned setting the fox down. He jumped down to the ground looking around warily as he freed his teammates. He looked at Asuma and shuddered.
“Asuma-sensei, I need you to pass a message on to Tsunade-Hokage.” Asuma frowned at Yuudai’s serious tone. Something was obviously upsetting the boy, which meant Naruto was in some kind of trouble. Asuma ignored his injuries as he stood, nodding to Yuudai.
“Alright,” Asuma said before carrying Sen and leading an injured Rue back towards Konoha. Yuudai jumped back into the tree’s glaring at Sasuke.
“I am not going to abandon my mom. You’re taking me with you.” Sasuke glared at the smaller brunette growling.
“This isn’t some fucking game kid! This is serious! Orochimaru is a monster! He’s killed countless people for fun!” Yuudai’s facial expression didn’t change. Sasuke glared grabbing the collar of the boy’s shirt, lifting him up a bit.
“You’re going BACK to Konoha and you’re going to deal with it.” Yuudai swatted the man’s hands away glaring, his eyes flashing red for a split second.
“MY mother is in danger. I AM going to go get him, and YOU’RE going to deal with it!” Sasuke glared then frowned sighing. He rubbed his eyes while shaking his head.
“Fine but it’s your own funeral kid.” Sasuke let the boy down then frowned. Tossing the headband to the ground, he darted off.
Yuudai looked at Bay and frowned. “Go home if you’re not able to handle this.” Bay pulled his lips up showing his teeth to the boy, as if grinning. Yuudai rolled his eyes before darting after the Uchiha man, Bay and Kit following close behind.

Yuudai panted softly and landed on a tree looking off towards a field when Sasuke finally stopped running. There was a large fortress sitting there. Yuudai frowned, his eyes narrowing. This was where his mother was being kept? Yuudai stood and stepped forward but stopped when Sasuke pulled him back. Sasuke pulled out a Kunai and tossed it to the ground, watching as the movement of the blade set off a trap.
“This ISN’T training Yuudai. You will get killed if you fuck up.” Yuudai took a breath then shuddered, biting his lip.
“Ok,” was all he could muster out of his tightened throat. He was embarrassed. He’d almost gotten himself in a trap and then it would have been all over. Yuudai watched as the Uchiha scanned the area and smirked. Sasuke stood and looked at Yuudai.
“Keep up kid,” he said before jumping from tree to tree, and then taking a rather large jump, landing on the ledge of the fence surrounding the fortress. Yuudai frowned. Getting up and looking at Bay, he placed the fox in his shirt. He took a breath before following suit after Sasuke. He took a jump out of the tree and shook when he began to fall. He wasn’t going to make it. He closed his eyes waiting for the contact against the ground, but landed safely on a hard furry back. Yuudai frowned at Bay, sighing as the dog didn’t land on the ground, but just barely caught on to the ledge of the fence to pull himself and Yuudai up. Ok, so the dog came in handy this once. Sasuke frowned at Yuudai and sighed rolling his eyes. Sasuke walked along the edge of the fence scanning below- no guards, no servants, nothing, Sasuke jumped down towards the entrance of the fortress and looked around. Nothing much had changed. The place was still well kept, but Orochimaru had been dead for weeks. The place should not be this well-kept..
Sasuke walked to the door, and pushed it open. He looked inside but all was dark, not even one light was on. Sasuke looked at Yuudai waving the boy down. He jumped a bit, feeling the boy right beside him. Yuudai was silent, he would give him that. Sasuke opened the door more before walking inside, Yuudai following. Yuudai looked back to call Bay inside, but the door slammed shut on the dog blocking him outside. They were stuck in darkness. Yuudai tensed, his eyes adjusting to the darkness. He frowned seeing a form in front of them standing there with two kunai. Yuudai jumped back when one of the kunai was swung at him and landed at his feet.
“Yuudai!? Are you ok?!” Sasuke shouted out into the darkness. Yuudai tensed hearing the kunai hit something and a small groan coming from Sasuke. Looking over, his eyes going wide, he saw a figure standing over Sasuke, lifeless blue eyes scanning the brunette’s body, before locking eyes with Yuudai. Yuudai tensed back up.
“M-Mom…. Why?” was all Yuudai could say before the man’s fist collided with his gut.
