“Baki, Kakashi,” Naruto barked. “Leave them alone.” He looked at Hinata and Sasuke who were both in their third trimesters. “Baki you are 8 years old, you know better than to climb all over mommy right now. And Kakashi, you are 7 and daddy's had a very hard time with his pregnancy. Grandpa Minato only let him come today because you promised what?”
Kakashi shuffled around and scuffed his feet against the floor. “I promised Grandpa I'd be good and not climb on Daddy and be quiet and gentle.”
Naruto knelt down in front of his son and took him in his arms. “I know you love him and you are trying your best.” He kissed Kakashi's jet black hair. “I'm not trying to be mean, but we don't want to make daddy sick and make him go back inside.”
Itachi had come beside Baki and was having a similar conversation, although Hinata's pregnancy was not as hard on her body as Sasuke's was on his. When his brother and Naruto had chosen to give Kakashi a sibling, everyone was overjoyed. When Sasuke said he was going to be the one carrying the child, they had been a little skeptical about his mood swings. Sasuke's mood, however, had actually been much improved. Being pregnant agreed with his brother, but his body did not handle the procedure as well as Naruto's and he'd been told by Minato that he had to cut back on just about all of his normal activities. He had to take a break from tattooing because his body couldn't handle the strain of sitting over someone all day long. He had also been banned from picking up Kakashi because the boy was too heavy.
The boys went back to playing as Naruto and Itachi both took their seats next to their spouses. Sasuke frowned. “I miss playing with him.”
Naruto nuzzled his neck. “I know love.”
“Soon, though,” Hinata said. She smiled at Sasuke. Sasuke was due to have his daughter just a few weeks before she would have her son. It was sheer dumb luck as she and Itachi had given up that they would be lucky enough to have a second child after having tried for four years with no luck. A week after Sasuke announced he would be undergoing the male pregnancy procedure, she had found out she was pregnant. “When are Obito, Kisame, and Deidara supposed to get here with Kiba and Ten-Ten?”
Sasuke sighed and rubbed his stretched, sore stomach. He smiled as their little girl kicked his hand. “Their flight is supposed to land in about half an hour, so roughly an hour.”
Itachi smiled at Minato as he dropped off fresh glasses of juice for the kids, Sasuke, and Hinata and handed him and Naruto a beer. “We're glad you're back, Minato.”
Minato smiled. It had been a while since he'd been back as he hadn't been able to leave the practice as often for Sasuke's pregnancy. Although when Sasuke started having scares with his blood pressure, he had taken over as primary care physician. “At least for the next three months.” He chuckled. “I don't know if Naruto and Sasuke are big fans of that, although at least with the renovations 'Kashi and I don't have to hear headboards.”
Naruto spluttered. “I think we're better than we used to be.”
Sasuke snorted. “You bent me over in the janitor's closet of the school after 'Kashi's end of school program.” He smiled at Naruto's blush and kissed his cheek. “I never knew that a grade school was one of your kinks.”
Naruto shook his head. “My kink is you.”
Hinata blushed and stammered. “Uh, um, guys. Can you not try to give the whole table a nosebleed?” She dropped her head to her hands. “You're terrible.”
“Who's terrible?” Obito asked as he came through the kitchen doors into the backyard.
“My guess would be the horn dogs that can't go more than 3 days without f-” Kisame was cut off by a sharp elbow to the side as Baki and Kakashi came running up. “Oh look, it's the minis!” He took off running after the boys as they squealed.
Sasuke snorted as the rest of the group came through. “I'm glad you guys could all make it. Baki's birthday wouldn't be complete without all the family. The rest of the guys should be here just after 5. I wanted some time for us to all catch up first.”
After a round of hugs, everyone settled down into their conversations. Deidara and Naruto were chatting about Deidara's hair, which was back to his long, beautiful blond hair. Itachi, Minato, and Obito were watching Kisame running around with the boys. Hinata and Sasuke were smiling at their children and talking about their pregnancies.
“Who ordered presents?” Temari called out as she made her way into the backyard. Baki ran up to Temari and wrapped his arms around her waist. “Hey little man.”
Baki glared at her. “I'm not little no more Auntie Temari,” he said. “I'm turning 9 today. That's not little.”
Temari ruffled his hair. “Guess it's not. Well then, I'm going to have to call you Baki and no more nicknames.”
Baki frowned. “You can call me Thor!”
Temari's eyes sparkled as Shino came through the door and sent their daughter out to play with the boys. “Okay, Thor. Do you think you can play with Ruby and keep her safe?”
Baki nodded. “Ruby needs me to protect her like my cousin Tsume is going to.”
Kiba smiled as Baki spoke and gave Naruto a hug. “You know my mom is losing her mind that the baby is being named after her.”
Naruto shrugged. “We talked about it. We'd originally decided Tsume Kushina while we were pregnant with Kakashi because we wanted to honor my side of the family.”
Obito smiled at the boys. “You guys are touring again soon, right?”
Kiba nodded. “Shortly after Hinata and Sasuke deliver, actually.” He frowned as Sasuke's face tightened. “It's a short one though. Naruto doesn't want to be away from the family. We just needed to get a little bit of advertising out for the new album.”
Sasuke frowned. “I'm sorry, Nar,” he sighed. “I'm not trying to be difficult.” He smiled when Naruto leaned over and gave him a kiss. “I'm just hoping I'm feeling okay. Kakashi can be a handful and I remember how little we got to sleep after having him. I hope Tsume isn't as hard since we'll be alone for a couple weeks.”
Minato smiled at his boys. “I'll stick around if you want Sasuke. I can wait a couple weeks to go back. You're as much my son as Naruto at this point, and I definitely won't complain about getting to spend more time with my granddaughter.”
Sasuke smiled as he nodded. “I'd like that.”
Baki ran back up to the table. “Are you done with grown up talk now? Can Uncle Naruto bring out my presents and then I'll open them and then we can have cake?”
Naruto chuckled and shook his head. “Food first, then presents, then cake.” He smiled when Baki ran inside to help carry the food out. Both Baki and Kakashi excelled at school. Naruto's touring schedule had become a bit hectic for a while, but with Sasuke essentially on bed rest, he'd told Yamato they had to take a break. And while he wasn't keen on leaving Sasuke so shortly after having their daughter Kiba was right and they needed to do the tour for the new album, even if it was a limited engagement date tour.
Kakashi climbed quietly up next to Sasuke and rested his head on his dad's belly, listening for his sister. “Love you, Tsume,” he said and kissed his daddy's tummy. “Love you too, Daddy.”
Sasuke smiled. “I love you too, buddy. I love you too.”
