In a bar in the center of Kumo, four women were looking at each other with shocked expressions, two pale blondes, a dark-skinned redhead, and a light brown white-haired woman.
- What did you say Mabui? I think I didn't hear you well – Said the short-haired blonde woman.
- You heard me Samui… Naruto's going back to Konoha, in a month from now the Hokage will visit us and take him back home, that's all – Confessed the white-haired woman.
The rest of the women didn't know what else to say.
- Fuck – That's all the blonde woman with a braid managed to say after hearing that.
- Well… It's up to him then – Said the redhead and the rest of the women looked at her weirdly – If he wants to come back with them after they got rid of him in his worst moments and now they want him back, now that he's better… If he's dumb enough to accept them, then let him leave – The dark-skinned girl tried to act tough.
- Are you serious Karui? – Asked Mabui not believing what the redhead was saying.
- I knew that you were a coward but at least I thought that you were going to fight! – The blonde with a braid took her shirt and pulled her close to her.
- Let me go Yugito! – Complained Karui trying to suppress her urges to punch the blonde.
Mabui tried to stop them, Samui just looked at the ceiling wondering about Naruto.
- All of you sit! – Said in a stern tone the short-haired woman.
- Samui-sensei… - Mumbled Karui before the older woman sent her an angry glare.
The women got back to their seats and waited for Samui to speak again, after all, she was the wisest one in the group.
- We only have one month left to win his heart and you both are wasting your time fighting each other! – Samui said in a cold way, which made Yugito and Karui shiver.
Karui and Yugito didn't know what else to say, so, they looked at each other and apologized.
- I'm sorry… I just lost control of my emotions – Said Yugito and Karui nodded.
- Don't worry… It's all fine – Said Karui not really believing the blonde's apology.
Samui looked at the pair for a few moments before she sighed.
- Let's be honest… All of us – The women gulped after hearing Samui's words – We're all in love with the same man – They nodded – The thing here is… We don't know if said man feels some kind of attraction to one of us – They felt sad hearing that – Trust me, if Naruto told me today that he wanted to be with me but he's worried about me staying at Kumo… I'll gladly give up my position to be with him – She told them and their eyes widened after hearing that.
They looked at Samui for some seconds, they admired the older woman, she was a stone-cold killer, good at her job but also did things that weren't good but were necessary, and now she was demonstrating she was one of the top shinobi of the village, she was willing to take risks that most of them would be worried to take.
- So, what's your plan Samui? – Asked Mabui, trying to figure out what her friend was planning.
- He has four weeks and we're four… Do the math – They nodded – Each one of us will have a chance to win his heart, we'll work on it for a week – They looked at each other hopefully – Let's just make a deal… It doesn't matter who wins, we will respect Naruto's choice – They nodded, the idea sounded great.
Yugito started to think about the possibilities, she spent a lot of time with the young jinchuriki as they trained together with her master.
- So, how are we going to decide the order? – Asked Yugito a little worried about that.
- Well, we can fight or something… - Mabui suggested.
- But our power levels are too different, some of us will be at a huge disadvantage – The redhead said not so confident about her fighting skills.
Samui thought for a few seconds, and suddenly an idea came into her head, she took a napkin that was on the table and got a pen out of her breasts, and broke the napkin into four parts, on each of one she wrote a number, she fondled them so no one could see the number.
- Okay… Let's do this, each one of us will take a piece of paper, and just so you don't think that I'm taking some kind of advantage… I'll be the last one to take one – The short-haired blonde said with a soft smile on her face.
- Okay… But I'm sure that I will be the last one - Confessed Karui worried.
The other women smirked and took their turns to take a piece of paper, in a matter of seconds, each one of them already had their own.
- Yeah, I'm the number one! – Said Karui surprising the other women.
- Two – Mabui sighed but still smiled.
- Three – Yugito wasn't so happy but it could be worse.
- I think that I don't need to say that I will be the last – Samui said emotionless as usual – One week for each one… Use your time well! – Samui told them and they nodded.
All the women started to think about their plans to seduce the young blonde who right now rested on his flat unaware that something was about to happen, something that not even in his wildest dreams imagined could happen to him.
The young blonde was dressed in black shorts and a white shirt, he was staring at the night sky while he thought about a lot of things.
- I must admit that I don't want to leave this village… But I miss mom – Naruto smiled remembering his beautiful mother – Dad… Well, I don't hate him but I'm not looking forward to seeing him again I just hope that Minari is already back home… She hadn't written to me for a long time I hope Tsunade didn't corrupt her, more than she already was – Naruto laughed nervously remembering his older sister's antics.
Naruto was about to sleep when he heard someone knocking on his door, he ran fast to look at the peephole, it was weird for someone to search for him at this hour unless something bad happened but he smiled when he looked at the person that was behind the door.
- Karui! What are you doing here? Not that I'm complaining though! – Naruto smiled as he let the redhead enter into his flat.
- I've heard the news and knowing you I knew that you were thinking about it and I'm pretty sure that you haven't eaten yet – She told him and Naruto's eyes widened.
She already knew about his situation, it was going to be a little uncomfortable talking about it, there was a lot of tension in the air until Naruto's stomach started to grumble.
Naruto blushed as he felt a little embarrassed and looked closely at Karui who brought some food.
- You're right, I've been thinking about many things that I forgot about eating – He confessed and sighed.
- That's why I came… What would you do without me Naruto? – Asked Karui before sighing – Come on, let's eat it before it gets cold! – She told him and Naruto quickly run to help her.
They sat on a table in the middle of Naruto's flat, Karui had brought his favorite food, ramen, two bowls, it wasn't the one from Ichiraku's but he never denied himself some ramen, as he always says "there's no such thing as a bad ramen just a bad cook"
- Look at that chashu! – Naruto smiled looking at the many pieces or pork.
- I asked for some extra for you, come on, dig into it! – She encouraged him and he nodded.
Naruto focused on eating the dish and it didn't take him too long to finish it, but then, he saw that Karui wasn't eating, she was just looking at him interested.
- Hey Karui, why aren't you eating? – Asked the blonde and she smiled.
- I have already eaten Naruto… I went out with the girls early, I ate something with them, I bought all that ramen just for you, I know It's not the usual quantity that you usually eat but… It's already late so you need to eat something light – She smiled at him and he nodded.
- Thanks Karui, you're the best! – Naruto smiled at her.
The redhead couldn't help but blush after he sent her that smile, that damn smile that charmed many women around the village, and she was no exception to it, some minutes later and Naruto already finished with his second bowl.
- Oh… That was good – He said with a smile on his face.
- I'm glad you liked it Naruto, I know that you're quite obnoxious when we talk about ramen, so, it makes me feel good knowing that you liked it – Naruto smiled after hearing that.
- Trust me Karui, it's not Kumo's chef's fault it's just that I have tasted the best ramen in the world in… Konoha – Naruto suddenly remembered why he was down a little earlier.
Naruto gulped, worried about his future, his thoughts were interrupted by the dark-skinned woman who placed a hand on his own trying to comfort him.
- Don't worry Naruto… I already know about your current situation – Naruto didn't know what to say – You're coming back to Konoha right? – Asked the redhead.
Naruto didn't want to answer, but he did it, he needed to talk to someone about it, so, he just nodded.
- How did you know? – Naruto tried to ease the tension with that question as the Raikage hadn't told anyone, not even his brother.
- Well, let's just say that Mabui heard some things – The redhead tried to explain and the blonde just laughed.
The tension that was before calmed for a while.
- Yes, you're right, my father is visiting the village in a month to take me back to Konoha – Confessed the blonde and Karui nodded.
- And how do you feel about it? – She asked him.
- Well, a part of me is happy that I will be able to see my old friends, my parents, I hope that my sister is already back in Konoha and also, I want to taste that delicious ramen again – Confessed the blonde and Karui just laughed.
- That sounds great… But? – She asked him and looked at him expectantly.
It took some time for Naruto to get it, but he finally did it.
- Yes… But I'm really going to miss you guys, Omoi, Darui, C, master Bee, the Raikage – Naruto sighed – And especially Samui-sensei, Mabui, Yugito and you – he confessed a little embarrassed getting a blush on his face.
Karui looked at the blonde for some seconds and she smiled.
- Too cute – She thought – You don't have a choice on it Naruto? Why don't you stay here and travel back to your village, I'm sure that I've heard about a teleporting jutsu that required a lot of chakra – Karui told him and he sighed.
- It's not that easy Karui… If I'm here at Kumo, it's not because I wanted to – he confessed feeling a little embarrassed about that – It's because our villages made a deal, they promised us to train me until I get control of my tailed beast, I'm already on that point so, staying here it could end up in a war between the thunder and fire nations – Karui was surprised to hear that – Even Raikage-sama tried to make me change my mind to stay here at Kumo, he maybe thinks that Konoha's government is like Kumo's where the Raikage takes the decisions but in Konoha things are different, everything is regulated by a council, the Hokage can take any decision before it's reviewed by the elder's council – Karui nodded.
Naruto just stood in silence for some seconds before the redhead got close to him.
- I want peace Karui… A lot of people had suffered from the wars on which the shinobi had engaged, that's something I've been dreaming about for a long time – Naruto confessed, Karui just smiled at him.
- Who knows Naruto? Maybe you could be the one who makes the rivalry between Konoha and Kumo end – Karui told him and he smiled.
- That would be good – Naruto calmed.
The blonde stopped thinking about everything as he analyzed Karui, her beautiful redhead reminded her of someone special for him, his mother, he always loved her hair, he couldn't stop staring at Karui's one, he didn't know what possessed him but he made an unusual move for him, he touched Karui's hair and she looked at him surprised by his actions.
- I'm sorry Karui, I don't know what happened – he confessed and the redhead just laughed.
- Don't worry Naruto, it's okay – She told him, not even a small sign of anger on her face – Do you like my hair? – She asked shyly.
Naruto looked at her confused, he didn't know what to say, so, he just answered in all honesty.
- Yes… I like your hair… It's pretty – He confessed while blushing.
Karui smiled, not just because Naruto complimented her, it made her smile because she was making him distracted from his thoughts, even if she had to embarrass him to make him forget for a while about his problems she would do it gladly.
- What else you like about me? – Asked the young redhead.
Naruto was surprised about that question, he started to think about her characteristics, to be honest, Karui reminded her a little about Sakura, with the only difference that she didn't look at him as if he was disgusting.
- Well, I like the way you work Karui – She raised a brow – Even if you seem angry most of the time you always do your part on our missions and that's great – She nodded – You're honest… I like that – Naruto tried to think about more interesting things about her – Your eyes are beautiful – He confessed.
He realized what he had just said and felt embarrassed again, Karui just smiled at him.
- Naruto… I have some tickets for a movie that someone gave me… It's a trashy indie movie, but, it would be a waste and I was wondering… - Naruto looked at her expectantly.
- Woudlyouliketocomewithme? – She said so fast.
- What? – Naruto didn't understand what she meant.
- Would come with me to watch that movie? – She finally said, totally embarrassed.
Naruto thought for a moment before he smiled at her.
- Of course Karui… I'd be glad to go with you – Naruto told her with a smile on his face.
Karui couldn't believe what just happened, the girls would never believe her, she finally invited Naruto to go out and he accepted, things were finally getting the way she wanted, the girls will be delighted to hear about her progress, she already felt as if she was going to win Naruto's heart.
