Lawful Courtship
An audible thump reverberated through the isolated walls of the secretary office as a woman let loose her frustrations from the week beforehand. Her employer and supervisor were set to return that day, after a week-long vacation and honeymoon in a remote location far from the public eye. In the aftermath of a particular event, the brown haired secretary that acted in the place of her supervisor had shifted gears, changing from an apprentice to an independent worker while handling everything from her paperwork to the scheduling of several meetings and future contracts.
Sifting through the small pile of papers that remained, what would hopefully be the last pile of papers from the development departments due to the changes she had suggested, Tenten could only pull her head up from the ornate desk that stood beside her mentor’s workspace. What frustrated her was not the impending company after a week of overtime on overtime, but rather, the singular meeting of the day with a particular lawyer.
Another groan spilled forth through half pursed lips, followed by an audible thump as her head once more crashed down against the hardened wooden plate that made up the majority of her desk.
Within the deepest reaches of her mind, the brunette could practically imagine the mockery she surely endured in secret, knowing full well that her behavior at their date had been anything but proper. From her attire to the way her hips would instinctively sway whenever she walked ahead of her date, the very thoughts that raged throughout her mind made her cheeks burn bright.
Their date had, by all intents and purposes, gone alright. After being picked up by the lawyer, the duo wandered around for a bit, taking the long route towards a local restaurant serving sushi in a conveyor belt style. All around them, Tenten could vividly recall the amount of people that made their way to and from the area, some of which having already eaten, while others were out on the very same errand that the duo were on; a handful of people acting far more flirtatious than the brunette could even begin to imagine while at work.
What made her tense up however, had been the final message sent her way by the girl she could only imagine to be the illustrious Hyuga heiress that her old college friend had somehow managed to meet. Her date was hung, or so she had been told before the man had come to pick her up.
Whether she wanted to or not, the moment Neji Hyuga appeared at her doorstep, Tenten’s eyes had instinctively swiveled down along his torso, approaching his groin at mach speed. Of course, under the guise of checking him out without his suit jacket on, the gesture had been overlooked with a polite smile, and a proclamation that seemed oddly suitable for a serious businessman; not so much for a man out on a date.
Down the hallway to her left, past the office space outside of the CEO’s office, a soft chime echoed throughout the top floor just loudly enough for Tenten’s ears to pick it up, causing her head to fly up off of the desk at a speed so great that her office chair rocked in response. With a frightened, almost panicked gaze, Tenten threw her eyes down upon her desk…
… only to realize that, in her frustrated embarrassment, her hands had flown through the motions of sorting through the remaining paperwork upon her desk.
When the realization that her hands were more experienced than any other part of her body settled in, a set of faint clicks began to reverberate down the length of the hallway. The first one that came into view was, without a doubt, the white haired secretary that had been present for each and every one of Tenten’s own interviews with the company.
Rising up from her chair, Tenten nodded her head in greeting, offering the older woman a wholehearted smile along with the luxury of not coming back to any stray paperwork. “Welcome back, Mabui!” It hadn’t been meant to be a full blown shout, but nonetheless, the brunette was happy to see her colleague again.
The only reply she received from the secretary herself however, was a brief smile. “You did well to tackle the work by yourself.” Instead, a much deeper, gruff voice reverberated throughout the hallway, so deep and harsh in its tone of voice that it took Tenten aback for the briefest moment.
A, the CEO of their company, followed along behind his primary secretary, clad in a white silk suit that served to contrast his darker skin tone. For as long as she had worked there, no one at the company, not even Mabui, called their boss by his first name; granted, having a single letter as a name did make it a nuisance at times, but Tenten would never admit to that openly.
Strolling past the workplace of his two secretaries, A continued on towards his office, slinging both hands up to push a set of ornate oak doors aside, lacquered in a way to make them gleam from the simplest reflection of the light. The entire top floor was decorated in a similar manner, simplistic, but with rich, deep colors, dark wood, oak, and onyx door handles.
From where she stood, Tenten’s eyes zeroed in on the CEO himself, taking in his slicked back sandy blonde hair, the intensity of his eyes that resembled someone with a permanent coffee high, and of course, the muscled frame that bulged out his suit no matter what size he bought it in. The question hadn’t so much as been asked, but nonetheless, Mabui took it upon herself to explain what visibly played out across Tenten’s face.
“He has had a lot of coffee today,” waving a hand in the direction of their boss, the white haired woman gingerly placed a folder down upon her desk, flashing Tenten another generous smile in regards to its cleanliness. “Something about not wanting to leave the bed. Why, no one knows~”
Blinking her eyes rapidly for a bit, Tenten could have sworn to have seen the faintest trace of a blush across Mabui’s darker cheeks, though by the time her eyes cleared, it was all but gone.
Asking about the honeymoon of your employers was generally considered impolite, unless one had a sterling relationship with them from the very first day. Considering herself as a more normal coworker, the brunette held her tongue on the matter, but somewhere in the back of her head, the thought of what had made her coworker gleam so brightly sent a shudder down the length of her spine.
“Did anyone enter my office while we were away?” In the flash of an eye, A had returned, a letter in hand and a somewhat serious look upon his face. Had it not been for her experience of dealing with excessively intense and energetic guys, then Tenten herself might have flinched back.
Plopping a slender finger against her chin, the brunette allowed her eyelids to flutter shut, recounting everything that had gone down during her supervisors’ vacation. Aside from the occasional department head, no one had appeared by her side, nor had the elevator seen an abundance of use. However…
“A lawyer, going by the name of Neji Hyuga, stopped by on the first day of your leave.” The only one that had slipped her by was, without a doubt, the stiff and proper Hyuga lawyer, in the sense that he had found her in the midst of a nap. Whether or not he had entered the CEO’s office, Tenten had never bothered to ask. Although, the one thing that had come to mind was the date the two had headed out on; a thought she tried to suppress, immediately.
“I… see.” A moment of silence stretched out between the three of them, with the rambunctious CEO being awfully quiet for once. “Did he mention anything in particular, why he came here, for instance?” Again, the question caught her off guard, if only because she already had the answer on hand.
“Yes, actually. He claimed to have an appointment with you on Monday, but you canceled it at the last minute.” Nodding his head at the sound of Tenten’s soft spoken voice, A’s borderline bloodshot eyes had never left his secretary’s side, though why, Tenten did not know.
“Additionally, Neji did pause by my desk to talk, claiming that he would not charge you a cancelation fee so long as you contacted him again at your next convenience.” Finishing up her summary in a matter of factly tone of voice, the brown haired secretary allowed herself the briefest moment to smile; her thighs rubbing themselves together beneath the desk at another memory that rang through her head.
Ever since the final message had been sent her way, by the woman she still had a topless selfie of on her phone, the thought of a particularly hung Neji Hyuga would not leave her head. How hung was hung? Why would the woman that was the man’s sister know about his endowments? How had she managed to go the entire week without hearing from him again?
Biting down upon her bottom lip, whatever transpired between A and Mabui thereafter was none of her concern.
Their date had gone by without a hitch, in its own way. Sushi as a food was something she had longed to have for quite some time, but going to a restaurant on her own was out of the question. With a majority of her friends still in college, at work, or in the midst of creating families of their own, the number of people she could invite out was rather limited, leaving her first with a hyper energetic man whose wardrobe was practically all green and all latex, as well as the bigger player in the city they occupied. Neji though…
Somewhere throughout the night, either to be considerate or polite, Neji Hyuga had ordered a bit of alcohol for himself as well; only a single glass, stating that excessive amounts of alcohol would negatively affect his hands, making them shake on their own. Another thing she had been told was that no one among the Hyuga household could handle liquor, which she had initially thought of as a joke. Everyone had some resistance to alcohol, regardless of how little they drank…
When Neji Hyuga’s head hit the table however, Tenten could distinctly remember her eyes widening in disbelief. One sip had been enough to make him tipsy, half a glass had made him somewhat drunk, and the entire glass? How much of the evening the lawyer remembered, she honestly did not know.
It had not been her intent to flirt, it never was when it came to men. In Tenten’s eyes, she had always qualified as a bisexual, with a heavy preference for women, but nonetheless, seated across from her date of the night, the words had just rolled off the tip of her tongue.
Flirtatious remarks, a leg that couldn’t halt itself from roaming up along his legs, and the reveal that undoubtedly left the Hyuga speechless, if he remembered it in acute detail. She had foregone her panties for the night, a fact her tipsy self had been more than eager to prove by spreading her legs underneath the table.
Heaving out a sigh however, the end of their date had been far more lackluster-
“You’re on a first name basis with the lawyer?” The question was as abrupt as the speed with which her eyes snapped wide awake, and with an audible yelp that couldn’t be suppressed, Tenten shot upright, out of her chair with her hands flying up, tossing a pen across the room in an instant.
Turning her eyes around the entirety of the room, Tenten noticed a series of things, though chief amongst them was the lack of their CEO’s blatantly visible form. By her understanding, A had wandered back inside of his office, though the lacquered double doors were still left wide agape, likely to air it out after a week of being shut tightly. The second and most prominent thing that came to mind however, was the darkly tanned woman seated no more than a foot to her right; both hands pressed up against the underside of her chin, with a wide, knowing smile adorning the secretary’s plump lips.
Heaving out a breath of air that she hadn’t realized she had been holding, Tenten’s shoulders slumped, her heart thumping away within her chest to appease herself once more. “You scared me…” the brunette mumbled out, unsure whether or not her supervisor had watched her for long.
“So it seems, but very, very few people refer to our primary lawyer by his first name. Not even A does, despite their long standing partnership.” Mabui spoke up, eyes trailing after Tenten as she crouched down to pick up the pen she had flung across their office space. “Were you acquainted with him beforehand?” Quirking a trimmed silvery eyebrow up at her own question, the primary secretary undoubtedly knew that that couldn’t be the case.
Rather than risk lying to her supervisor, Tenten heaved out another sigh, this time furrowing her chocolate colored eyebrows as she made her way back towards the desk reserved for her and Mabui. “We just sort of hit it off?” Raising her shoulders up into a shrug, Tenten returned to her chair; legs pressed tightly together whilst her hands ran down to smoothen out her somewhat wrinkled onyx skirt.
“You hit it off? With the least sociable person in town?” Again, Mabui’s voice arose from the side, though this time, Tenten made the mistake of glancing her way. Despite Mabui’s curiosity on a subject Tenten herself had never expected to debate, the smile that crossed her lips only made the brunette frown where she sat.
“He-” Before she could so much as stutter out another word, a set of heavy stomps once again arose from the office to their right, through the double doors that had long stood open. Through them, A crossed the threshold, a serious look on his ever wrinkled forehead as his perpetually wide eyes practically glared down upon the two of them.
“The Hyuga is coming by today, to discuss a few matters of importance. You two are attending, to document everything on our side.” Turning his gaze upon Tenten herself, the brunette instinctively quivered in her seat. “Can you do it?” What he asked, despite the gruffness of his voice, was not at all what she had come to expect.
Somewhere in the back of her head, the mere thought of him coming to the office had cheered her up dramatically, only to send her spiraling down into social awkwardness mode. For the briefest moment, her mind was taken back a week, back to the evening after their date… back to her, standing in the doorway leading up into her apartment, inviting her date inside for a cup of coffee to help sober him up. At the time of asking, the implications had been lost on her and him alike, but nonetheless, Neji Hyuga had solemnly declined her invitation.
---
“You wish to extend it.” Another sentence was dropped in response to A’s thoughts, followed by two sets of eyes shifting away from the suit-clad CEO, over to the equally well dressed man whose back was pressed up into the back of the chair. “Capitalizing on the shift in alloy pricing can be fortuitous, but buying out a manufacturer can be viewed as a power play by your competitors. Unless, of course…”
“We claim it for ourselves, but share the bounty with our contractors.” A concluded, finishing up the sentence spoken by Neji Hyuga, in the midst of their enclosed office space.
When the brunette had been asked to join their meeting, as a second set of eyes and as a witness to the goings on within the office, she had been hesitant for the briefest moment. College had prepared her for a great many things, and taught her even more, but no amount of classes could ever prepare her for the tedium that was the task of keeping track of every minute detail that was exchanged in a meeting such as that.
Neither A nor Neji were fast paced, but nonetheless, the nuances of what they discussed flew beyond Tenten’s own head, landing safely within the calm and composed lap of Mabui. The gist was scribbled down, along with an ever present need to hone herself; to go beyond the expectations of her peers and work herself into a stable financial position.
Yet, from the very beginning of the meeting, a silence had stretched on between the two of them; between her and the Hyuga. Mabui had pressed for details beforehand, but even she had quieted down, observing the duo from the sidelines while preparing refreshments for her boss and their guest. From the moment his polished black shoes had carried him through the gleaming metal doors of the elevator, his gaze had been upon her, sizing her up, analyzing her every move, all the while being gracious and genuine towards the tall, muscular man that was their CEO.
“It might take some time, but we should be able to finalize the details of such an undertaking before long.” Neji finished, snapping Tenten out of her stupor. How much of their conversation she had missed out on, the brunette did not know, nor was it her place to excuse herself, however…
… the moment their conversation ended, the Hyuga’s eyes were upon her anew. Pale and inquisitive, but curious and cautious all at once. It lasted only a moment, but nonetheless, the intensity that was his gaze more than made up for the lack of contact the two had shared the previous week.
“Would it be alright for me to look through your secretaries’ notes?” The question caught the other members within the room by surprise, even the ever steadfast A seemed taken aback by the sudden request.
“I… do not see why not?” Exchanging a brief glance with Mabui, the silver haired secretary nodded her head, rising from her position with slow, practiced steps. It took her no time at all to carry the handwritten notes towards the Hyuga, nor did it take Tenten long to follow suit.
Arising from her chair, the brunette gently bit down into her bottom lip, blatantly aware that everyone’s eyes were on her in one way or another. Neji himself had turned his attention towards the documents now in his lap, flipping back towards the first page before going over the notes, quickly flipping through the pages of neatly written text. When she stood no more than a foot away however, his eyes did not rise.
Right as she was about to lower the notebook down towards the lawyer’s lap, his right hand reached up, accepting the notebook from Tenten’s grasp as easily as anyone else would, save for the fact that his eyes were pointed everywhere but towards her.
“Thank you.” His soft, hushed tone of voice was the only thing that arose, washing out across the room as his white, pupil-less eyes took in the contents of the pages; a pen in hand to add notes of his own wherever there was room.
With his pen in hand, the lawyer’s pale eyes descended down the length that was Mabui’s key notes, scouring them for any deviations in his own memory, while spinning the pen around atop the knuckle of his index finger. One page flew by, becoming another, then another, all without so much as tapping the ink filled canister down against the notebook itself; all until the end, where a motion akin to writing down a signature met Tenten’s eyes.
It was a formality, she realized, something to be gone through for inspection in case either one had dozed off or forgotten to add a vital point. While Mabui’s notebook was handled with little distraction, Tenten’s own book was viewed with a plain look, similar to indifference in its own ways. There, the pen was put to use, adding a side note, then an additional comment that went on for far too long, until at last, Tenten herself was but a nervous mess upon her chair.
Neither book was meant for A to go through, so much as it was the secretaries' own point of reference in the future. Whenever another deal was proposed, or another undertaking was about to begin, one such book would be dedicated solely to the thoughts and the overview of those that documented the event.
When at last the Hyuga had reached the final page of her notes, his eyes arose from the book, slowly easing himself up onto his feet with slow, meticulous steps; first towards Mabui, then towards Tenten.
“I added a few numbers to your statistics,” Neji began, speaking directly to Mabui with a tone of utmost propriety. “Your grasp of the specifics is impressive, frighteningly so.” A compliment, shrewd though it might have been, which Mabui herself received with a subtle nod of her head.
When his gaze settled upon her however, goosebumps broke out across the entirety of Tenten’s form, from her bra clad breasts, hidden beneath a silk blouse and a jacket, to the bottom of her feet. Steely and cold, calculating along his approach, it took the Hyuga lawyer but a moment to reach her side, a notebook in hand and a thin, practically nonexistent smile stretched out across his lips. However…
“You’ve found a woman of impeccable observational skills, A.” That was the comment that escaped his lips, breaking through the cold facade that had undoubtedly broken many a woman’s heart. Handing the book back to her, Neji offered but a curt nod of his head, eventually returning to one of the couches within A’s office.
From the very edges of her vision, Tenten briefly saw A and Mabui exchanging a subtle glance, one eyebrow raised on Mabui’s side, while A’s eyebrows furrowed themselves together. Yet, her gaze was solely fastened upon the notebook in her hands, or more specifically, upon the very first page of her would-be report. The lawyer had been thorough, adding notes of his own, pointers, and statistics to the void that had been left behind from the point in which she zoned out. All of which was focused around her view of the meeting, all until, as the brunette flipped through the pages, her eyes fell down upon a slip of paper that slid down towards her lap; free of any constraints, with a signature she now knew all too well upon its front.
In the midst of her focus, the brown haired secretary overlooked the goings on within the room after that point, glancing down upon the slip of paper as subtly as she possibly could. It was signed, formally at that, making her assume that it was a card or something of the sort from the office he worked at. However, contrary to the typical business cards, it had no address, no phone number, and most important of all, it had a custom message directed at her on the back.
‘Dear Tenten, I write this due to our circumstances, but also out of necessity. If you would be so kind as to offer me the time of day, I propose a meeting between the two of us tonight. Sincerely, Neji.’
No more than halfway through the message, Tenten’s lips were stretched so wide into a grin that she undoubtedly looked like a Cheshire cat, cheeks ablaze with a mirthful sigh wanting to spill forth from her lips. How a man at their age could be so formal and roundabout was beyond her, but as her eyes trailed up to look at the suit-clad man that was now prepared to take his leave, she could practically imagine him speaking to her in the very same manner.
When he turned his head aside to regard the gathered group of people once more, Tenten’s eyes locked onto the pale, pupil-less orbs of Neji Hyuga, offering him a curt nod of her head in the hopes that no one else noticed. Despite his gaze being fastened upon A and Mabui, a slight smile spread across his lips, and with that very motion, the man whose pristine silk suit adorned his form made his way out; quick, confident strides carrying him out through the ornate double doors leading into A’s office.
Pulling the note away for her own safe keeping, Tenten at long last closed her notes, feeling her head swim from the sensations that were the two things delivered onto her lap. First were the notes, which in comparison to the ones dedicated to Mabui, were undoubtedly lacking. However, on the other hand, she had the note whose contents were still undigested.
Across the room however, unbeknownst to Tenten, a separate set of eyes were upon her; eyes that were, in fact, joined by a subtle smile, and a look of satisfaction. With their meeting adjourned, and a few managers being on their way to speak with A directly, the CEO lazily waved a hand to relinquish his secretaries of their duty, followed by Mabui arising from her chair with her free hand running down to smoothen out the wrinkles of her skirt.
On Tenten’s side, her body responded, though her mind was everywhere else. Her legs pushed her up into a standing position, and when Mabui made her exit, the brunette followed suit; eyes glazed over in contemplation.
“Praise from our primary lawyer~” The moment the duo were out of earshot, through the ornate oak doors that separated their ventilated office from A’s personal space, Mabui’s voice came out as a song would, a cheerful, chipper tone of voice that caught Tenten entirely off guard.
Snapping back into reality, the brunette almost dropped her notebook where she stood, expertly weaving around the now grinning silver haired woman to put it aside. “Coffee?” Was her only response, her back turned towards Mabui to hide the increasingly furious flush that adorned her cheeks. Mabui, for one, was aware of her colleague’s flustered state.
“Yes please,” whether she decided to let Tenten off the hook or not, the brunette was unaware of, but nonetheless, the silver haired woman did not press further. “Did you find our presence in the meeting redundant?”
Pausing in front of a set of coffee cans, the brunette threw a glance back towards her silver haired colleague, pondering the question for a moment before returning her gaze to the task at hand. “A bit. Neji- er, the Hyuga seemed perfectly capable of keeping track of everything himself, negating the need for our presence.” Adding a splash of cream to Mabui’s cup, Tenten unhurriedly brought it back towards their desks.
Stretching out a hand to accept the cup that was offered to her, Mabui allowed herself a moment’s reprieve; her eyelids fluttering shut whilsts both of her hands cupped the edges of the cup.
“Today was mostly meant to be your introduction to this particular style of meetings. Aside from board meetings with our corporate partners, the ones you’ll document the most will be the managers’ meetings. A himself rarely attends in-house meetings.” Smiling softly up at where the brunette stood, Mabui’s soft lips brushed down against the rim of the cup, sipping it gently in the aftermath of their conversation.
Fixing up another cup of coffee for herself, the brunette gave herself a soft, confident nod, both in regards to the proposal she had received no more than a few minutes beforehand, along with the satisfaction of actually being able to make a coffee that her supervisor enjoyed. She herself went heavy on everything but the coffee, to the point where her pitch black beverage appeared caramel colored from the copious amounts of cream she put in.
Returning to the chair before her own workstation, the brown haired secretary in training resumed her work of the day; eyes glazing over as the dozens of files belonging to the various departments below poured into their separate folders. With a click of the mouse, she found her way into the folder belonging to the technical department, scouring through document upon document of industrial acquisitions, along with a few interning contracts.
From the sidelines, Mabui did something akin to Tenten, though her focus was put upon the meeting schedule of the days to come. Due to their little honeymoon rendezvous, a lot of meetings had been put on hold, some had to be canceled and rescheduled altogether. While a great deal of their business partners were local, from the same area as they themselves were, the ones that came from further away were less than pleased about their cancellation. However, anyone that dared to get mouthy with Mabui about such matters were redirected to A; an action that was often followed by deafening silence.
In the back of her head, the brunette playfully contemplated whatever Neji’s proposal might be about, smiling to herself whenever something asinine was brought up by herself. Had it been any other man, Tenten might have had an ounce of worry about going to his apartment after work, but alas… it was not. In the aftermath of their date, the person she had now learned to be Neji’s sister started messaging her directly, though surprisingly, it was about a subject that baffled even her.
Cosplaying.
Whatever information Shikamaru had conveyed to Hinata, Tenten was unaware, but nonetheless, she was all but pleasantly surprised when a member of the Hyuga clan began to question her about commissioned work. Kunai were of particular interest to the woman, and throughout the week, Tenten’s mind had begun to whirl with plans of what to do or how to make it appear the most authentic to the series that Hinata Hyuga adored.
Alas, regardless of how business focused the brunette attempted to be, the question had come at long last. What had she thought about her date with Neji?
The question hadn’t surprised her in the least, nor had it come as a surprise for Neji’s sister to be curious, however, what had caught her off guard was the question that followed. Hinata Hyuga began to poke and prod at whether or not the two had slept together, most notably, if Tenten herself had been able to walk after the fact.
Puffing out her chest where she sat, Tenten’s expression remained neutral, diligently working away with Mabui at her side while her internal monologue continued. Whether it had been the correct move or not, the brunette had taken it upon herself to safeguard the lawyer’s reputation, dismissing any such questions with a carefree reply; a reply that, at the time, had come naturally, almost akin to her defending the pale eyed lawyer for something he hadn’t done. In hindsight though, Hinata’s prying had left her unsure, pondering whether or not they would have done so if he had accepted her late night invitation.
In the blink of an eye, the rods of an analog clock hanging atop the wall to their right had practically spun all around, landing them at a point beyond the time where she herself was meant to leave work. Four o’clock was the general time stamp for most employees to head home, with the exception of some managers. Yet, when she cast her gaze upon the wall, her expression sank.
Six pm, two hours into overtime. That was how long it had taken her to finish up her work, but where she still sat, it had hardly even felt like a minute had passed. Gazing left and right, the brunette’s eyes eventually swiveled back towards the screen of her computer, landing upon the now completely empty folder wherein freshly scanned documents landed.
From the right, a set of soft clicks emanated from A’s office, accompanied soon thereafter by Mabui’s sleek figure. “Would you like to stay with us for dinner?” The silver haired woman began, a warm smile upon her plump lips, even while her eyes twinkled with a mischievous glint. “Or were you going out with someone tonight?”
Tempted as she was to join her employers, the thought of eating beside the newly wed couple was… less than comfortable, in her mind. Shaking her head out of instinct alone, Tenten cheerfully declined the offer, smiling back at the prime secretary as she checked herself out of work on her personal computer.
“See you tomorrow!” With a wave of her hand, the brown haired woman, clad in her uniform, all but dashed towards the elevator as quickly as her short heels would permit. As the elevator doors opened, and as she stepped inside to quietly press the button that would take her to the ground level, she could practically see the devilish smirk that adorned Mabui’s lips from afar.
Dinner was the last thing on the primary secretary’s mind, of that, Tenten had no doubt.

In the far off horizon, casting its final rays of glimmering, radiant light upon the bustling streets of a city that never slept, the scorching sun had begun its descent down into the chasm that was the horizon, beyond a tall mountain set aside for the sake of stone carvings in the future. Men and women alike made their way down the streets, some like her, dressed up for work, making their way home after what could only be described as a long day in the office, while others were far more casual.
Whenever her work day ended, Tenten had always made it a habit to avoid the busier streets, sticking to side roads whenever time allowed it. Her apartment was further outside of the bustling metropolis that was the city they lived in, in a much, much quieter part of town, far away from the nightclubs and bars that a great deal of her former classmates inhabited whenever their throats were parched. However, that day, she had practically rushed down the streets in the opposite direction.
Deeper and deeper into the metropolis she ran, jogging at a permitted speed, heels considered, all the while attempting to pull her hair up into what had become her signature buns. Neji Hyuga lived deeper into the city itself, owning an apartment within a complex there, likely much closer to his office as well.
Peering down at the address scribbled down upon the note she had received however, Tenten’s brown eyes widened, swiveling up at the building she now stood beside, panting ever so slightly from the ten minute jog she had endured. The address matched, as far as the map on her phone was concerned, but at the same time…
Reaching high into the sky, the apartment complex before her was unlike any she had seen before. Tall, perhaps thirty stories or more, with windows lining the walls here and there. From what little she could see from down on the street, what could only be a penthouse apartment was at the very top.
Shifting her gaze back down to the main entrance before her, Tenten heaved in a deep breath of air, steeling her nerves for what would potentially be an incredibly stiff meeting with a very formal lawyer. A set of glass sliding doors were the first things to greet her eyes, accompanied soon thereafter by something akin to a reception desk, with a rather cheerful man standing behind it.
“Tenten, is it?” He spoke up, greeting the brunette with a warm smile, along with a gesture towards the elevators on his left. “Mister Hyuga told me to expect a visitor, and to direct them to him.” Nodding his head politely, the man stepped out from behind the counter, motioning for Tenten to follow closely behind.
With a soft tap against the elevator button going upward, the sheet metal of the doors eventually slid aside, presenting Tenten with a wide variety of buttons, each of which were labeled with a set of initials.
“Wait, each floor is one apartment?” She all but blurted out, only to receive a chuckle in reply.
“We hear that a lot. Every floor is a house unto itself, but despite constructing it themselves, the Hyuga wished not to take the penthouse for themselves.” Stowing that little nugget of information away in the back of her head, Tenten continued to gawk, unable to so much as correct her expression whilst the receptionist merely chuckled once more.
Before she so much as realized what he had done, the elevator doors began to glide shut, and with one final wave and a vote of confidence by the man at the front desk, the brunette was left to her solitude once more. Only then, within the spacious confines of the elevator, was she able to snap herself out of her daze. On both flanks and behind her back, there were mirrors, most likely to serve some grander aesthetic goal, but then and there, they were practically invaluable.
By the time her fingers reached the top of her head however, to try to comb out the stray strands of hair that had escaped her buns, the resounding, deafening ping of an elevator reaching its destination echoed throughout the tiny chamber she hid inside of. With her face turned away, all but pressing up against the mirror on the back wall, Tenten beheld the sight that was the metallic doors sliding apart…
… only to be caught off guard altogether.
Whatever she had come to expect, it was not the sight that met her eyes directly outside of the elevator doors. While she herself had expected a hallway of sorts, perhaps a waiting area for the rich, what met her eyes instead was a vast, wide room, dimly lit save for the glimmering moonlight that shone through a set of windows as tall and wide as the entire far wall. There were drapes, but they had yet to be pulled aside, and a few feet away from the windows itself, the brunette could very vaguely see what appeared to be a more comfortable setup. A large flatscreen TV, a set of couches formed into an L-shape, with a higher than normal coffee table split up into two heights; a second compartment underneath it, to act as day to day storage.
The soft clink of a glass echoed from her right, and with a turn of her head, the brunette found herself face to side with the man whose apartment she had entered. Despite his lack of alcoholic resistance, Neji’s silhouette was seen beside what could only be described as a home bar, housing more than a dozen different liquor bottles, along with the occasional oddity that one normally wouldn’t see at any club downtown.
“Good evening, miss,” his voice arose, unwavering as his nimble hands conjured forth a crystalline carafe filled with a golden brown liquid, along with two tumbler glasses. “I was unsure if you would come tonight.”
At last, the normally suit clad man known as Neji Hyuga turned to the side; a faint curl to his lips, along with a glint in his pale, pupil-less eyes that sent a cold shiver down the length of Tenten’s spine. “Were my directions sufficient?” Nodding his head in the direction of the couches further in, the duo made their way towards it together, though on her end, her steps were tentative and cautious.
“I found my way pretty easily,” she began, one hand already moving up to undo the button of her navy blue blazer. “I have lived here all my life, believe it or not.” With a start, the man before her froze, slowly setting the glasses down upon the surface of his table, before turning to regard her with an apologetic look.
“Why, of course, miss. Do pardon my lack of finesse.” Frowning where she stood, Tenten shrugged her shoulders, jerking the blazer off of her form to reveal the white silk blouse beneath; a blouse whose top buttons had long since been undone.
“You’re not too used to talking to people like this, are you?” The frown that had once adorned her features morphed quickly thereafter, recalling their date for what felt like the millionth time that day. To call him stiff was perhaps the greatest understatement of the millennium.
Freezing up again where he stood, Neji at long last turned to face her completely; an awkward expression upon his face, even as the softest little chuckle escaped through his lips. For the briefest moment, their eyes locked together, staring straight ahead, unblinkingly, but only for that singular moment.
“That would be,” pausing, the Hyuga lawyer motioned for Tenten to take a seat within the couch, taking a step aside to sit down as well. “Accurate. You are my first guest here.” Nodding his head solemnly, Tenten couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at that prospect.
Although, another quick scan throughout the main area of his apartment told her more than what the moonlit first look ever could have. Aside from the wall sized windows behind his back, there was little in the way of decor. In the midst of the room, a marble colored piano stood, atop a monotone colored carpet, though whether or not the lawyer used it often was beyond her. To their left, through an open archway in what appeared to be a stone wall, the barest hint of a mattress reached her eyes; his bedroom, in all likelihood.
Otherwise, the singular theme that stood out no matter where she looked, was an abundance of folders.
Papers were strewn about the place, a dozen or more different folders were neatly stored away in the second compartment of the coffee table; likely to make room for his potential guest, among other things. Case files, she realized, though why the Hyuga had them strewn about his home was a separate matter altogether.
The soft clink of a glass sliding towards her was what drew her out from her stupor, and as her eyes swiveled down, the peculiar scent of apples wafted out across her nose. “Juice?” Lifting the glass with both hands, the brunette brought it up towards her lips tentatively.
Apple juice, but with a hint of something more. Her first sip alone was hardly enough to figure out what that second flavor was, but a second one did more than highlight the distinctive flavor of cognac. Not her preference by any means, but to see Neji drinking at all was as much of a surprise as his invitation that night.
“A part of me regrets not joining you for coffee that night,” Neji’s voice broke through her thoughts once more, a smooth tone, followed by a dry laugh. “Perhaps, if you would permit, we could try for a cup sometime?”
Blinking her eyes rapidly, it took her brain a moment to process the information put out before her. If coffee was what she wanted, the two could have gone to a coffee shop for that…
For the briefest moment, the temptation to ask whether the lawyer knew of its insinuation came to mind, but even before her luscious lips parted ways, the brunette held herself back. Socially awkward or not, even someone like him had to know some insinuations? How this man was related to the curvaceous and playful cosplayer she had come to know was beyond her, in and off of itself.
Heaving out a heavy sigh, the brown haired secretary put her tumbler glass aside, rising from her place within the couch to stretch out her arms. Although her blouse was partially unbuttoned, her chest was by no means large enough to draw too much attention to it, but nonetheless, the brunette angled her breasts towards the lawyer by her side. In response, he averted his gaze, which in turn allowed her to step up by his side; plopping down on the couch once more, no more than a few inches away.
“Why don’t we correct that right now?~” Twirling a finger up along the toned stomach that hid beneath a silk shirt, Tenten lightly clicked her tongue, her eyes rolling up to take in the sight of his own. Cognac or not, diluted as it was, even the handful of alcohol he had gulped down had already begun to make his cheeks burn bright. That, coupled with their proximity, was something that made even Neji Hyuga flinch back.
“Miss, we really shouldn’t-” Before he could so much as pull his head away, Tenten’s right hand made its way up along his neck, carefully cupping his cheek to angle his head to the side. It wasn’t much, but from where she sat, Tenten’s lips at last grazed up against his hairless chin.
“I like you, Neji.” Blushing where she sat, that singular kiss was followed up by something that even she hadn’t planned to admit. “One date never does it, but you… you’re special, different from every other guy I’ve met.” Absent-mindedly, the image of a certain playboy came to mind, only to be washed aside as her mouth hovered dangerously close to Neji’s own lips.
Hovering in place, Tenten’s eyelids fluttered shut, holding her position to allow him a chance to pull back. To her infinite surprise however, sitting no more than an inch away, the warmth of an arm wrapping itself around her waist was all the incentive she required. Leaning forward, Tenten pressed her lips to Neji’s, kissing the man whose company she had only shared for a few hours at most.
On his end, the spontaneous action was as off putting, as it was reassuring. Oblivious though he might be, even he had been hit on by an immeasurably large amount of women. Either for his family name, personal wealth, or some other status that might follow in lieu of dating a lawyer, their reasons had been meaningless and easy to spot over time. Yet, even knowing that, he couldn’t help but pull her closer, deepening their kiss while slowly, carefully opening his mouth for more.
How long the two remained like that, mouths open, tongues dancing, neither one could so much as hope to remember. What little the pale eyed lawyer did recall, was that somewhere along the line, his right hand had begun to search for the clasp that held Tenten’s skirt in place, while she herself had scoured his shirt in search of the buttons that held it in place.
At long last, Tenten finally broke away, heaving for air with a flustered look upon her moonlit features. Before her, her partner was as stoic as the day they had met, but somehow, the faintest dusting of pink had begun to adorn his cheeks, accompanied by a breathless look and wide, unblinking eyes. Gazing up into them, the brunette began to lean forward once more, wanting nothing more than to return to the moment with him…
… only for the sound of a button being undone to snap their gazes down, followed by the faint snap of a clasp being released, setting Tenten’s own cheeks ablaze.
“Bedroom…?” Neji managed to heave out between deep breaths of air, motioning towards the open archway with his eyes alone.
From her place beside him, a devious little smile began to stretch across her lips, aligning with the common conception of what a succubus might be, save for a lack of horns atop her head. Arising from her place in the couch, the brown haired secretary allowed her skirt to fall down towards the ground, stepping out of it with as little ceremony as possible while all but straddling the Hyuga’s lap.
“Right here works too~” Purring out her reply, the brunette ground her hips down against his lap, pressing her scantily clothed groin against the swelling of a bulge within his trousers. While she had no doubt that Mabui’s undergarments were highly proper, she herself had chosen something more indecent. Lace, shaped into a thong that did nothing to hide the moisture of her pussy.
To her immeasurable surprise however, the hands that surged down to clamp themselves atop her bubbly butt drew a soft moan out of her mouth, and with it, a show of force that did nothing to stave off her arousal followed.
With his hands locked atop her rear, the still modestly clad Neji Hyuga arose, carrying Tenten along with him, even as her arms flew up to latch themselves around his neck. In the few seconds it had taken him to arise, her long, smooth legs wrapped themselves around his thighs, and as the world began to shift around them, so too did the alcohol course through her veins.
---
“Haah~ fuck meeee~” A woman’s voice rang out, accompanied by a long, outdrawn moan that would have told anyone what they needed to know, had it not been for the clapping of hips crashing against a woman’s behind as well.
Rough, rhythmic thrusts all but drove her deeper into the mattress of a luxurious, spacious bed, slamming her deeper and harder down with every thrust of his powerful hips. A set of hands roamed along her form, up along the subtle curves of her sides, past the small swell of her breasts, before at long last settling down atop her shoulders; holding the brown haired secretary in place, even as her body ached for more of his touches.
“Certainly.” Neji Hyuga grunted out, a particularly rough thrust, angled to perfection, causing his partner’s back to arch as much as the iron grip upon her shoulders would allow.
Biting down upon the pillowy fortress that surrounded her head, Tenten’s eyes rolled up into the back of her head just in time for her lover’s swollen cockhead to hammer down against her g-spot, bringing her over the edge for what felt like the fiftieth time in the span of half an hour. Her pussy quivered around the bulbous length of his cock, clenching down against his girth in a vain attempt to halt his thrusts, but nonetheless, Neji Hyuga’s metronome precision never faltered.
“Cumming~” Was the only word she could fit in between the cacophony of moans that practically spilled forth from her luscious, parted lips, muffled in its entirety by the heavenly pillows on her left and right.
Based solely on the information she had received from the man’s sister, Tenten had suggested the couch, to give her some control. It had to be Neji’s first time with a woman, of that much, she had been inconceivably certain. However, no more than a few minutes thereafter, her suspicions had been crushed, along with the sensation of a broad, very swollen cockhead being squished inside of her wet, womanly folds.
Pressed down on her hands and knees, her back arched, her breath came out as ragged gasps, and for the first time of her life, Tenten truly regretted the fact that she had spoken and befriended the indigo haired Hyuga heiress. Had she not done so, her body might have been prepared enough to take the pounding of a lifetime.
Alas, as quickly as that regret came to mind, Neji’s hands shifted away from her hips anew, slithering down towards her chest with slow, yet concise movements. In a manner of moments, his hands, strong and calloused in ways that paperwork shouldn’t do, found their targets; the soft swell of her breasts, not at all large, but easily a handful for the greedily rough digits that made up his hands.
“I’m getting closer.” Neji spoke, almost matter of factly despite their current predicament, and only then did it strike the brunette that he hadn’t climaxed once yet. Leaning his head down however, the entirety of his naked, chiseled chest pressed itself down against Tenten’s back, bringing his lips that much closer to her ears. “I’ll finish inside tonight.”
The whispered threat that hid behind her words sent a cold shiver up along the lengths of Tenten’s spine, and without knowing it herself, her pussy clamped down around the cock within her cunt. With a ragged breath and a wheezing moan, Tenten came again, though this time, her juices practically sprayed out around the cork that was the Hyuga’s cock. His thrusting slowed, his hands continued their assault of her rounded breasts and pink nipples, and with his lips so dangerously close to her vulnerable neck, the final thrust rocked through the brunette’s form with enough force to knock the air out of her lungs.
Hammering away at her twat from behind, Neji Hyuga came, erupting deep within his lover’s slit with enough force to truly knock her an inch down. However, the inch was made up a moment thereafter, as his hips began to move on their own accord once more. Between the slow, almost gentle rocking of his hips, Tenten’s body slumped down against the mattress, submitting herself to the fate that was to be impregnated by the Hyuga lawyer.
Once, twice, three heavy gushes of his sperm splashed up against the insides of her slit, dousing the entrance to her womb in its delightful warmth, all the while dripping deeper. Lubricated and spurred on by the benevolent amount of lube within her cunt, Neji’s hips sunk deeper, tapping the very tip of his dick against Tenten’s cervix, before at long last, his spasming and thrusting came to its end. His orgasm however, did not stop there.
Seconds slowly trickled away, becoming minutes, though how much time had truly passed, the brunette did not know. Beyond the third gush, a fourth, fifth and sixth followed suit, equally powerful and potent, assaulting her womb with the scalding warmth that was his load. A seventh spray followed suit, crashing up against her cervix with enough force to allow her to distinctly feel the amount of cum that splattered throughout her womb. Yet, after that, his orgasm had at least died down.
Suppressed by the weight and mass that was his much larger body, held down in place like the cheapest of whores that could be found, Tenten at last let loose a soft, breathless moan. Had it not been for the swollen cock within her cunt, then the abundance of cum within would have undoubtedly trickled out to stain the bed sheets eternally, yet somehow, she had stumbled upon a man whose cock was abnormally thick.
Right as her eyelids began to flutter shut, drained of what little energy remained after a full day at work and then some, the soft creaking of the bed drew her attention to the slowly shifting form behind her back. With his spare hand, the Hyuga lawyer pulled a blanket over the two of them, coating her in a warmth not unlike that of her lover’s awkward affection, all the while rolling over so that the two were on their sides; his dick still lodged so deep inside of her slit that Tenten almost worried whether it would slide out or not.
“Try to get some rest,” Neji’s voice, deep and deceptively soothing, washed out across the brunette’s weary mind, lulling her deeper into the safety that was his embrace. “May you have the sweetest of dreams~”
Tilting his head down the tiniest bit, Neji’s lips at long last found their mark, pressing down against Tenten’s forehead to kiss her goodnight. Locked up in his embrace, with a broad, pussy gapingly large cock lodged inside of her cunt, the brown haired secretary allowed herself to fall deeper into the darkness that was exhaustion; a faint smile adorning her lips all the while.
“G’night~” She mumbled out, already half asleep by the time her lover’s voice could so much as register within her ears.
