Enty says: Hello Sweeties. So, this is the second edited chapter. I hope you guys enjoy the present tense and more descriptions. I want to make sure you guys know that any characters who would normally be female, are male in this. Only males. That's just how this story is.
Chapter 2: Meet and Greet
It takes a while for Sasuke and Kiba to realize that Shikamaru is already in the club and asleep with his head on a table.
Shikamaru is a lazy wolf with rather plain features. Brown hair pulled into a high ponytail. Brown ears that are very relaxed at the moment, but otherwise nothing really special about them. His tail though is rather interesting. It's brown up until the very tip, which is actually silver.
Sasuke simply takes a sip of his drink but Kiba, being the troublemaker that he is, walks up to Shikamaru. He plans on scaring him awake.
Except that the sleeping wolf isn’t sleeping and he freaks Kiba out when he speaks. “Don’t bother. I’m not asleep.”
Kiba pouts. “You take the fun out of everything Nara.” This gets a shrug from Shikamaru and an eye roll from Sasuke.
Sasuke frowns when Sai comes over and sits right next to him. He doesn’t like this guy. He isn’t sure why, but he figures as an Uchiha he doesn’t need a reason. Maybe it’s because he is just so seemingly emotionless. Maybe it’s because Sai has no brain-to-mouth filter. It's probably a combination of them
“Hello Uchiha. I see you had a productive break. So, who is your mate?” He looks down at Sasuke’s wrists. Sai has black colored hair with gray ears and tail. He’s even plainer than Shikamaru.
Sasuke raises a brow. “None of your business.” He looks at Sai’s bare wrists. “I see you and Haku still aren’t official.”
Sai blinks. “Haku says he wants to get to know me before making it official.”
Kiba laughs. “You’re actually doing what the cat says?!”
Sai looks to him, facial features never changing. “Of course. If we will forever be together, we must like each other. Otherwise, it will be unpleasant.”
Kiba just smirks. “Didn’t you learn anything in school? Sensei said that Mother Moon makes the choice. So even if the Omega doesn’t like it they still gotta be mated to their Alpha.”
Shikamaru raises his head for a rare comment. “You’re only saying that because your omega punched you in response to you asking him out.”
Kiba frowns as the group laughs, his ears going back. “Shut up Nara! I like that the raccoon has spirit. Makes it a challenge. Right Sasuke?”
The raven shrugs. “Guess so. It does make things interesting at least.”
Sai is still looking at Kiba. “I don’t understand. You say you agree with sensei and yet you want a raccoon who does not want you. Isn’t that a contradiction?”
The shaggy wolf's eye twitches. “Well yes…You know what? Fuck you Sai!” He stands to attack Sai.
Sai looks merely confused at all of this. He doesn't get why his observation made Kiba upset.
Luckily before Kiba attacks, Jiraiya who is the manager of the club walks in from the back rooms. “I appreciate the gesture Kiba, but you don’t need to stand at my arrival.” The large wolf has long thick white hair and grey wolf features. And he’s a complete pervert.
Kiba scowls and sits back down. “Yeah, well he started it.”
Sai frowns. “I do not understand. I was merely making an observation and answering a question. How is that an attack?”
Shikamaru fully sits up. “Because Kiba doesn't want to admit his logic makes no sense. Therefore he decided to take it out on you.”
Kiba scowls. “Not true.” That receives an eye roll from Shika and a smirk from Sasuke.
Jiraiya smiles at them, glad there's no actual fight going on. It happens sometimes with a bunch of alphas in one place. Every now and then a wolf will feel the need to dominate. In those instances, Jiraiya comes to break up the party. “Okay so you guys just chat and have fun and I’ll be in my office doing very important manager stuff.”
Kiba laughs at that nonsense. “You’re only going back there to read porn.”
The old pervert shrugs. “That’s just an added bonus of having your own office.”

Across town in the Omega Club, another friend joins the group. His name is Neji Hyuuga and he's a feline. He has beautiful lavender eyes, long brown hair that’s currently pulled back, and white ears with a matching tail. His body isn’t very omega-like but usually his eyes and cat features are the main things talked about. Oh...and of course he’s an absolute genius. If it wasn't against the law he definitely would be in college and flying through it.
Haku turns to Naruto. “So, tell us about this wolf that is trying to claim you.”
The blonde sighs. “I’ll admit he is hot. He’s got black hair, black eyes, and from what I could see it looks like he has a nice body.”
Neji raises a brow. “Then why fight him?”
Gaara surprises everyone by saying, “Because apparently he’s an asshole. Just like the one who tried to get me.”
Haku smiles with a soft musical laugh. “You two should get to know the wolves. Sai and I are becoming closer and soon we will be ready to make it official.”
Neji rolls his eyes. “You two are only going slow because Sai is oblivious to how the world works.”
Naruto laughs. “And you’re any better? You’ve been flirting with that lazy wolf for like ever. He’s the oblivious one.”
That makes Neji pout which then makes most of the others giggle. Gaara goes back to simply observing everyone, but Naruto can see the very small smirk of amusement. Naruto loves having the ability to make anyone laugh and be happy. He looks at his wrists and frowns. He may be able to make people happy...but he refuses to be owned by an egotistical wolf!

The park for the socializing sessions is rather large. Naruto usually just hangs with his group of friends under a big tree, but a grin appears when a familiar shaggy brown wolf waves to him. “Kiba! Hey man. Haven’t seen you for a while.”
Kiba grins as he walks over to his friend. “I know. I finally decided to come out and see the babes.”
Naruto snorts. “Your mind is always on that.”
The wolf shrugs before looking at Naruto’s wrists. “Cool! You got claimed!”
He frowns. “According to that jackass of a wolf I am.”
Kiba tilts his head. “What’s his name? Maybe I know him.”
Naruto rolls his eyes, but realizes it might be true. Maybe he can learn some more of the creeper. “It’s Sasuke Uchiha. He thinks he’s all high and mighty because he’s kinda cute.”
Kiba’s eyes widen. “You’re with Uchiha? Oh my god how did I not realize when he described you! Oh, this is so cool. My two best friends mated to-”
Naruto growls, effectively cutting him off. “You’re best friends with Uchiha?”
Kiba’s ears go back as he laughs nervously. “Uh...yeah? I mean, we both go to the Alpha Club and uh...why?”
Naruto glares at him, his tail and ears showing how pissed off he is. “Because I hate him! He’s a self-absorbed asshole that deserves to have his balls cut off and shoved down his throat.”
Kiba blinks, a bit scared of his friend. “O-Oh...well I thought you two would be good together. I mean, he has already claimed you right?”
The fox snarls, eyes bleeding into a crimson-orange color. “I am NOT claimed by ANYONE!!!” He tears off the wrist bands, throws them on the ground, and storms out of the park. He’s tired of people telling him how he should live his life and that the only destiny he has is to be the incubator of a wolf’s sperm!

Kiba gulps. Oh, Sasuke is going to kill him for this. He looks around, not really surprised to see everyone staring at him. “I really need to find Sasuke.”
He runs over to the usual area that the raven can be found and quickly gets Sasuke’s attention. “Sasuke. There’s something you should know and it involves Naruto.” At the questionable look he’s receiving he explains. “Naruto is a close friend of mine but I might have set him off by saying I was your best friend and that you two will be good as a mated pair. He took off his wrist bands and I’m pretty sure he’s left the park area.”
Sasuke stands up and leaves in search of his fox. “That moron. I can’t believe he upset Naruto that badly.” He lifts his nose to the air and breathes in. After a few seconds he locks onto that sweet scent. Like oranges and a hint of something that's completely Naruto. Sasuke will never forget his mate's scent. And now to save the dobe.

Naruto is currently storming through the city and it’s only when he feels rain does he realize something; he has no clue as to where he is. He was so focused on his rage that now he's lost. He curses and quickly goes to the closest building to gain shelter from the rain. As soon as he goes inside though he begins to question his ability to stay out of trouble. He has apparently walked into a rather seedy bar and every wolf in there is staring at him hungrily. He gives a nervous laugh before he bolts out the door and runs as fast as he can. When he decides he is far enough away and safe, he pauses in order to catch his breath. He yelps when he’s suddenly pressed up against a wall. His eyes widen as he sees THREE wolves.
“What’s an unclaimed fox like yourself doing in a place like this?” one of them asks.
Naruto groans as he remembers taking off the wrist bands. Of course, this is the reason that he needs them and he doesn’t have them. No wolf will DARE touch a claimed omega. Not even assholes like these.
Another one of the wolves smirks. “Apparently he’s looking for a bit of fun.”
The last one laughs. “Well, we better give him it shouldn’t we?”
They move closer and Naruto shuts his eyes as he tries to block out what is about to happen to him. When nothing happens though, he slowly opens his eyes. The three wolves are facing the entrance of the alley they are in, their ears back and tails between their legs. Naruto looks to the entrance and his eyes once again widen.
Standing there is a VERY pissed off Uchiha, a low growl emanating from his throat. “That is MY fox. Back off.”
One of the wolves seems to gain some courage. Bad idea. “Bullshit. He’s unclaimed and we saw him first.”
Sasuke approaches them, an aura of death surrounding him. Naruto’s eyes widen even more as he sees three black spirals spinning in his now red eyes. The Uchiha mark of power.
The wolves let out whimpers. “Oh shit! It’s an Uchiha!” They look to Naruto and then themselves before running for it.
Sasuke would love to chase them but he won’t dare to leave Naruto alone again. He takes a few deep breaths and once he is calm, he turns to the blonde. He approaches him slowly, as if not wanting to scare the male even further. He soon stands in front of him and gently moves the hair from his face. “If you truly are friends with Kiba then you should know not to take what he says seriously.”
Naruto is so shaken up that he feels tears fall from his eyes. He then finds himself clinging to the wolf like his life depends on it. He has never been so scared in his life.
The raven is a bit shocked at first but gives a rare smile and holds the blonde close. They stay like that until Naruto begins to shiver. “Let’s get you out of the rain.” He puts his jacket on the fox's shoulders and leads the boy out of the alley into a nicer part of town.
As soon as they get out of that filthy place Sasuke picks him up. He allows his natural body heat to warm the shivering omega. Wolves run hot for exactly these instances. When he feels Naruto nuzzle into him, he allows a rumble to flow through his chest. “I will carry you home. Will anyone be home?” He feels Naruto nod. “Do you want them to know?” A whimper is his reply. “Okay. Allow yourself to calm down on the walk there, okay?”
While Sasuke is infuriated by what those wolves tried to do, he is grateful that Naruto seems to trust him now. When they get to the blonde's house, Naruto has stopped shivering and is calmer. Sasuke sets him down and gives him a soft kiss. “May I have the honor of your company tomorrow in the park?”
Naruto blushes a bit before he looks away. “Sure...I guess that’s the least I owe you.” He moves to take off the jacket but is stopped by Sasuke's hand.
“Keep it. I have another one.”
Uzumaki turns his blue eyes back to lock with dark orbs. “Whatever…” A blush fills his cheeks, but his hands grip the jacket tight. “But no funny business tomorrow. And stop kissing me!” He quickly goes inside the house, closing the door in the Uchiha’s face.
Sasuke laughs softly as he heads home. “Naruto Uzumaki. You are definitely a prize worth working towards.”

Kiba sighs as he stares out his window. He is so bored! He got a text from Sasuke earlier saying Naruto is alright. When he asked what happened he was told not to worry about it. He’s really glad about Naruto being safe, but now he’s bored. “Ugh...” His mind slowly begins to wander. And to where does it wander you might ask? Well to that redheaded raccoon babe of course. His ears twitch as he remembers the feisty attitude and those piercing green eyes. “I want him as my mate so bad.”
“Aniki! Why aren’t you paying attention to me?” A very annoyed voice accompanies a harsh punch to Kiba’s leg.
Kiba groans and looks down at the small wolf that is pouting up at him. “Akamaru. There’s nothing to pay attention to when all you do is babble on.” He’s smiling though to show he isn’t really mad.
His little brother Akamaru has white wolf features just like Kiba, except part of his ears are brown. The two are very close, always have been. Akamaru climbs up on the window bench and sits in Kiba’s lap. “Did you find a special friend today?”
Kiba chuckles. “Not today but I’m going to find him again. I’m sure of it. All I have to do is figure out where he is and how to get him to like me.”
Akamaru makes a cute face as he thinks of how to help his brother. “I know! Give him a present!”
Kiba is about to refuse it but then truly considers the thought. “Hm. I think I’ll try that. I wonder what raccoons like.”
The younger shrugs. “I dunno. Can we play now?” He is immediately disappointed when Kiba sets him on the ground and stands up.
“Not right now kid. I have to go out.” He ruffles his brother’s hair and leaves. He stands outside and takes a deep breath. The Inuzukas are known for their extreme talent in picking up scents. When he picks up a very faint yet familiar scent his eyes open. “Gotcha.”

Meanwhile Gaara is on the other side of town in the apartment with his uncle. Sasori is his mother's brother, or something like that. His mother died giving birth to Gaara and his wolf father made it known that he hates the boy for it. When Gaara turned sixteen he was kicked out, along with his siblings who tried to defend him. Sasori was notified and agreed to look after them.
So, they are now stuck with their ‘artistic’ uncle who spends his days either teaching at the college or in his workshop with his puppets.
Gaara frowns as he stares out of the window. “There is nothing to do in this town. The only upside to moving here is being able to see Naruto more often.” He hears his siblings downstairs, fighting for some reason or another.
The redhead stands before heading downstairs. He doesn’t speak to anyone as he leaves the house. It’s not like anyone will care if he left the house. He can take care of himself. Unlike other omegas, he isn’t useless. His ears twitch as he decides to just look around. He goes to the busy part of the town where all the shops are.
“Things are unnecessarily loud here. Can’t people shop more quietly?” He ignores the looks that people are giving him and goes into a simple ramen hut. Naruto had told him about this place and according to the blonde it is ‘the best in the world’. He has his doubts.
He goes in and sits down, waiting for someone to come take his order. After a few minutes he is about to just leave when he suddenly tenses. He feels a predator. His eyes narrow and his ears twitch back a bit. He glances around and locks on the white wolf that had pissed him off during the mating ceremony.
Without invitation the wolf strolls up to where Gaara is sitting and sits across from him.

Kiba can’t believe his luck. He decided to take a pause in his search for some food and here is the delicious omega he was looking for! “Hey. I never got your name.”
Gaara just stares at him. Well, more like glares. He is really tempted to beat this guy up. Screw the rules of society.
After not getting an answer Kiba shrugs. “Well, I’m Kiba Inuzuka. You got a nice punch by the way. Not sure I’ve seen another omega bold enough to do it.” He chuckles. “Okay, maybe one.” Naruto definitely is able to.
The redhead stays silent.
Kiba raises a brow. “You’re not much of a talker huh?” Silence. “Look, I apologize for how I approached you earlier. How can I make it up to you?”
Gaara stands and says one word. “Die.” And then leaves Kiba looking very confused.
The wolf slowly smirks, fangs showing a bit. He loves a challenge. He stands and follows the raccoon out. “Hey. That’s pretty harsh. I did apologize.” He puts his hands in his pockets. “So, you gonna tell me your name or do I have to make one up?”
Silence is the continued answer as the redhead keeps on walking.
Kiba chuckles. “Guess I’ll make one up. How about chibi-chan?” He hums in thought, totally not noticing the tense form in front of him. “Nah, that doesn’t sound right for a feisty guy like you. Maybe Kasayu? My mom had a cat with that name.” He shakes his head. “No. You’re not a cat.” He grins, eyes lighting up. “I know! Coon-chan!! That’s what I’ll call you.” He chuckles as a small growl falls on his ears. “Oh, come on Coon-chan. Don’t be so grumpy. You know it’ll only make you-”
He doesn’t get to finish that sentence since he is now slammed up against a wall with a hand around his throat. The redhead may be shorter than him, but he makes up for it with strength. “Stop. Following. Me.” Eyes that show so much emotion are locked on him.
True the emotion is currently anger but still. Kiba wants those eyes on him all the time. He grins and tries to respond but the grip on his throat tightens, cutting off air. Damn this guy is pissed.
Another growl leaves Gaara. “You may be a wolf, but I will not hesitate to rip your balls off and shove them down your throat while I watch you choke on them.” He releases the wolf and walks away.
Kiba coughs as he tries to get air back into his lungs. He knows he should be terrified that the guy will carry out his threat, because he doesn’t seem like someone who makes empty threats. But he can only think one thing.
“Those eyes...” The eyes that had seemed emotionless at first are like an electrocution now. He wants those eyes on him and he doesn’t care what emotion was showing. He just wants those eyes on him. He slowly grins before his thoughts take a sharp turn. “I wonder what those eyes would look like when full of lust. I wonder if he’ll continue to curse me as I plow into him and make him cry out. I hope so.” He knows that he will never give up on this omega. Cause now that he’s had a taste, he is addicted to the fire hidden behind the mask.

Gaara snarls as he storms through the town. He is so pissed!! He somehow finds his way to Naruto’s house. He rings the bell, hands clenched so hard that his nails are digging into his skin.
The door soon opens to show Iruka. The man blinks before a grin appears. “Gaara! I was wondering when we’d get to see you again.”
Gaara frowns. “Is Naruto home?”
The man notices the tense posture as well as the tone of his voice, hints that he's forcing himself to stay calm. “Yeah. He’s in his room. I’ll show you.” He steps aside so the redhead can come in before leading the way up the stairs and to the orange door. He gives a knock. “Naruto. Gaara is here.”
The door is thrown open as the blonde rushes out to hug his friend. Gaara snarls and Naruto quickly lets go, laughing nervously. “Sorry. Come in.” He waves to Iruka and follows Gaara into the room. “Hey. I wasn’t expecting to see you here. Something up?”
Gaara looks out the window, trying to get his temper together. “...I saw that wolf again...”
Naruto’s smile slips. He can tell something is wrong. Gaara’s voice is off. His posture extremely tense. Not many can recognize it, but Naruto is not ‘just anybody’. “Really? Where?”
Gaara refuses to look at his friend. “I went to that ramen hut...while I was waiting for somebody to serve me, he showed up. He then just sat down in front of me and began mouthing off. When I tried to leave, he followed me and began coming up with names for me.” Gaara suddenly punches the wall, making Naruto jump in surprise. “He only stopped when I pinned him by his throat and threatened to cut his balls off.”
Naruto hesitated as he thought about what he was going to say. “You...attacked him?” Now, he knows Gaara has a temper, but he has never seen the raccoon so worked up over one person. He is good at ignoring people and the fact that this wolf has gotten him so worked up means that...
Gaara runs a hand through his hair. “Yes. I just couldn’t stand his voice anymore.” He looks to his friend. “...why him?”
The blonde sits down on his bed. “Do you know his name?”
A frown. “Kiba Inuzuka.”
Naruto tenses, eyes widening. Shit! No wonder Gaara is pissed. Kiba has a talent of pushing people to the breaking point. He personally knows. He quickly looks away. He can’t let Gaara know that he knows Kiba. That’ll just be asking for it. “Oh...”
Gaara, luckily, didn't see Naruto’s reaction. “What about you and your problem?” By problem he means Sasuke.
Naruto laughs softly and rubs the back of his head. “Uh well...he kinda saved me today so I guess I owe him or something. I said I would hang with him at the park tomorrow.”
Gaara looks at him. “So, you like him?”
Naruto blushes and stands up. “No, of course not! I just want to return the favor. I would never fall for that cocky bastard, believe it!”
Gaara sighs and walks over to the bed. “Of course not.”
The blonde smiles, glad to see his friend calming down. “Wanna see if Iruka will make us some ramen? It sounds like you didn’t get to eat.”
Gaara nods. “Sure.” He silently follows him downstairs, his mind on the irritating wolf and why he got worked up so easily. It has to be because his cycle is coming up. That’s it. He is simply getting annoyed because his first Heat will soon be here.
There is no way that he likes someone like Kiba Inuzuka.

Naruto grins as he eats his breakfast. Gaara spent the night and is now sitting across from him. The raccoon got to discover firsthand the Naruto Sleep Over Experience. He isn't sure if he wants to experience it ever again. The fox is cute and definitely fun but at the same time he just won't shut up! Gaara runs a hand through his hair, trying to keep himself from yawning.
Naruto glances up and looks at him. "Hey...you okay?"
Gaara's green eyes lock with blue. "Yes. I just wasn't able to sleep while you were singing Lady Gaga last night." The fox turns bright red at that which makes Gaara's lips twitch up a bit.
"Well you're just jealous that I can sing awesomely." He sticks his tongue out as his fox ears twitch.
Gaara rolls his eyes. "Why would I want to sing like that?" He drinks the last of his tea.
“Hmph…” Naruto finished up his ramen. "Okay. Let's go." He stands and puts his bowl in the kitchen. He then grabs Gaara's hand and pulls him to the front door. He is about to say something when he opens the door...and freezes.
A certain raven-haired wolf is waiting on the other side. Naruto's ears go back and he frowns. He completely forgot about the deal with Sasuke. "Oh right...you..."
Sasuke raises a brow. "Well that's not a polite greeting."
The blonde shrugs. "Well it's good enough. Anyway, let's go."
"Is this the wolf who claimed you, Naruto?" Two pairs of eyes land on the redhead.
Sasuke smirks as he recognizes the omega that’s Kiba's target. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha. And yes, I claimed him." As if to prove it he pulls Naruto against him and locks their lips.
Completely in shock, Naruto can't do anything but just stand there with his eyes wide. He finally gets his senses back and pushes the wolf away. "Dammit stop that!" He scrubs at his lips and sends a glare to the arrogant black-haired bastard. "Why did you have to go and be an asshole in front of my friend?"
Sasuke shrugs. "Well I figured with the way you've been talking about me that he probably already assumed that I was an asshole, so there was no risk there. Also, I like kissing you."
Naruto growls, his fur on end. This guy is so annoying!
Sasuke turns to look at the silent male there. "Your name is?" What does Kiba see in a brooding omega like this? He looks like he can star in a serial killer movie or something.
Gaara eyes the other with thought. "Gaara." He respects the boldness Sasuke has but at the same time he still doesn’t like him. Of course, there are very few people that Gaara does like so it is really a moot case. He puts his hands in his pockets and begins walking.
Naruto goes to follow but is stopped by a hand on his wrist. He turns to order Sasuke to release him but stops when he feels the wristbands being placed. He blushes. "Oh...right..."
Sasuke sighs. "We don't want an episode like before. Come on." This will definitely be an interesting day.

When they get close to the park Naruto realizes something. They will most likely run into Kiba. Then Gaara will find out that Naruto and Kiba are friends. He bites his lip in thought. "Hey Sasuke. I need to talk to Gaara alone."
Sasuke shrugs. "Whatever." He walks ahead of them for privacy.
After he walks off Naruto turns to the redhead. "Hey. So, I have something to confess."
Gaara looks at him. "What?"
The blonde fox takes a deep breath. "I'm actually friends with Kiba. I didn't want to mention it earlier because I thought you'd be mad at me." He realizes the irony of his words since Kiba had said that about Sasuke the day before.
There is a silence for a few minutes before Gaara speaks. "You're friends with the asshole that has been bothering me and pissing me off?"
Naruto nods slowly, completely ready to be punched. What he wasn't ready for is the smirk that is sent his way.
Gaara shrugs. "Considering your tastes in Sasuke I guess it makes sense that you would like the Inuzuka as well."
Naruto's eyes widen. "You're not mad?" His ears suddenly go back and he scowls. "And I don't have a taste for Sasuke! He has a taste for me!" And then he blushes at how that sounds.
Sasuke chuckles and Naruto's eyes shoot to him. Obviously the wolf had been close enough to hear the comment. The fox's eyes narrow at the smug smirk. Sasuke walks closer to them again. "Well your lips are indeed delicious, but I haven't had a chance to 'taste' the rest of you." The wolf smirks even more at the angry face. It is rather funny because despite the fact that Naruto’s obviously trying to be scary, it’s simply just adorable to the wolf.
They manage to get to the park without any casualties.
When they get there Kiba runs over after he sees Sasuke and Naruto. When he sees Gaara though, his face splits into a wide grin. "Coon-chan! Hey man. I didn't realize you knew Sasuke and Naruto."
Gaara growls and without commenting he walks away. Naruto curses and follows Gaara after a quick wave to Kiba.
Kiba blinks before looking at Sasuke. "You know Coon-chan?"
Sasuke shakes his head. "Not really. I just met him today. He was staying with Naruto." He raises a brow. "I don't understand why you like him. Also, why do you call him 'Coon-chan'?"
"Well, he won't tell me his real name, so I had to come up with one." Kiba smirks. "As for why I like him, it's his eyes."
Sasuke smirks right back. "He told me his name after the first time I asked." He chuckles at the whine. "It's Gaara. Don't know his last name though."
Kiba looks thoughtful. "Gaara...nice name." He grins wide. "But I think I like 'Coon-chan' better."

Meanwhile Naruto manages to catch up with Gaara. "Let's go see the others." When he gets a nod, he leads the silent raccoon over to the group of omegas. The blonde pauses though when he realizes a wolf is amongst their normal group. "Sai?"
Haku smiles as he clasps hands with the wolf. "We made it official."
Blue eyes travel down to the wrist bands on them. The fox grins. "Finally! I'm so happy for you two!" He runs forward and hugs Haku tightly.
A grunt comes from Neji. "It's about time. We were all wondering if you guys would ever make it official."
Gaara's green eyes slide to the cat. "And you?"
Naruto looks over and laughs. "Yeah Neji. You need to actually ask Shikamaru out. You can't just flirt with him."
Neji frowns and looks away. "If destiny wants us to be together than it will happen on its own." This causes almost the entire group to roll their eyes.
Naruto, deciding that he is tired of seeing his friend unhappy, turns towards the wolves. "Well if you won't make contact then I guess I will." Before anybody can stop him he walks over to the small group now formed around Sasuke and Kiba. He shoves his way through and makes eye contact with the laziest of all the wolves. "Shikamaru. Neji is in love with you so please go ask him out."
Sasuke blinks at the sudden outburst. "Um...Naruto? Is this really any of your business?"
Kiba snorts. "It doesn't matter if it's Naruto's business or not. He'll still interfere. That's just how Naruto is."
Naruto pouts and ignores the others. "Please Shika!"
Shikamaru frowns at him. "First off. Don't call me that. Second, I already know that Neji likes me. It'd be pretty pathetic if I didn't know." At the fox's confused face he sighs. "I know that he likes me, but I want HIM to make the first move. If he actually wants to be with me then he needs to prove it." When it looks as if Naruto is about to comment he holds up a hand. "No more talking. Nap time." He then lays down and closes his eyes.
Naruto whines. "It's not fair!" He turns and is about to make his way back to his group to tell Neji about it, when he is stopped by a hand on his wrist. He looks back to see Sasuke. His ears go back, and let out another whine. "I have to tell Neji. He needs to-"
"Figure this out on his own." Sasuke hates seeing his fox upset but it isn't anyone's place to interfere with someone's relationships.
Blue eyes fill with frustrated tears. "But Neji's always going on and on about 'destiny' and stuff and he'll never make the first move." A pout appears on his lips.
Sasuke groans and immediately kisses those plump lips. "Look. One of them will make the move when the time is right."
Naruto sniffles and glares at the sleeping Nara. "Neji is going to be alone forever." He sighs and decides to go back to his group. "Fine. I won't tell him." When he gets there, he puts on a smile and goes over to Haku and Sai.
Sai takes in Naruto's upset features and calmly states, "Are you upset because you found out that Sasuke is dickless?"
Haku's ears perk and his eyes widen in shock. "Sai! You can't say things like that!"
Sai looks at his mate. "Why not? I was simply curious as to why Naruto was upset."
"Then ask it like a normal person you asshole!" Naruto was over the initial shock and is now being held back by Gaara and Neji so he doesn't attack the annoying wolf.
Sai simply shrugs before being pulled away by Haku who has an apologetic look.

Sasuke returns from the park in a good mood. During the day he got in a few more kisses and even a grope. Kiba has not yet been killed by Gaara and mating season is starting soon. He walks through the door, his tail wagging softly behind him. He goes into the living room and sees his brother-in-law.
"Seems being mated has made you less grumpy, un." Deidara smiles at him from the couch.
Sasuke shrugs. "It's definitely been more amusing. That's for sure."
The blonde nods. "I bet it does. So, tell me about your fox?"
Sasuke smirks. "It seems that Itachi and I have similar tastes. Mine is blonde with beautiful eyes as well."
A gasp leaves the pregnant male before a watery smile appears. "You think my eyes are beautiful?! Oh Sasuke!"
Sasuke quickly finds himself trapped in a big happy hug. When he looks to the side as he struggles, he sees Itachi just watching with a smirk on his lips. "Itachi! Help!"
The older wolf shakes his head. "No. I dare not upset my mate by ruining his happiness." He raises a brow. "Do you wish to cause him unhappiness by not accepting his gratitude?"
Sasuke whines but stops fighting, which only causes the hug to increase. He blames Naruto.
