Hello everyone and if your returning thank you and welcome back! This is the second chapter to my story. Another advance in the plot line and soon to be one very pissed off snake. Either way please I hope you review or read or whatever. Thank you again!

Dance of the fox..

“What in the seven hells are you talking about?!” The irate male before him asked and Gaara sighed a little in frustration. “Exactly what I had said is what I meant.” He spoke so calmly compared to the other male in the room that it irritated him further. “So let me get this right. You were sleeping awoke to a dream and found a clone of Naruto of all people standing beside your bed. He then told you that you needed to find Sasuke for him before vanishing?” The sudden voice of the other in his room made him turn his head to his female companion. “Yes. That is what I am saying.” The kazekage spoke so matter of fact that it kind of faltered the others in the room a little.
Temari sighed a little as she rubbed the bridge of her nose. “Alright then. What is it that we are going to be doing?” Gaara raised his head a little from thought and looked at her. “First I will go talk to lady Tsunadae.” He said in a monotone voice. “Then…” Standing he placed his hands on the table. “Then we find the Uchiha.” It was simple. Go to one then go to the other… then…” Here he took a pause before a slow smile krept onto his face. “Then… its our chance to rescue Naruto.”

Orochimaru sat there with the current scroll set out before him. On it was a map of different hidouts throughout the country of fire. On a couple of them slash marks rested saying that they were no longer there. With each one that he looked at his face grew more and more into a displeased look. “Mi’lord?” He had heard out infront of him. Lifting yellow slit eyes up they rested on reflective lenses of glasses. “Hmmm it seems that my first experiment is running amuck where he can.” The voice was angry as a pale finger tapped on the table before him. “So far six of our outer labs have been taken down. Each head of the clinics have fallen and with them the information that they once held.” This caused the snake to hiss his frustration until out of no where a smile graced pale lips into a smile that sent even shivers down the male before him. “Well Kabuto… what do you say?” He said licking his lips with an oversized tongue. “Shall we send a completed project to that of a destroyed one?” Kabuto raised his head with a smirk matching that of the snake. “A reunion?” The male asked and Orochimaru nodded. Reaching a pale hand out to the map before him he pointed to the next one in line of the slash marks. “He does not pass this point.” That was all that was said before there was a puff and Naruto behind him vanished in a puff of smoke.

The male growled as he stood there. Scarlet dripped from his blade as he stood over the dead. “Pathedic…” Was the only word to fall from pain lips before the sword was wiped clean before being placed once more within a dark black and purple sheath. Turning on his head the figure walked down long hallways turning with the bends so flawlessly giving the appearance that he had been there many times before. Sadly he had. Coming to a room it was a simple hand sign that opened the door with a creak that consumed the whole area. Scrolls and scrolls filled the shelves of the tiny room but he wanted only one of them. Moving into the room he headed right over for one of the cubbies before reaching in. Grabbing a dusty roll he pulled it out before reading over it. The scroll was the one that he wanted. Placing the scroll in his pack he turned and left the room then the base all together before a puff of smoke had him out of the area in a matter of moments.

This would make the fifth base of the snake that he had taken down. After the war and the death of his brother he gave himself a new goal. He would take down any unifaction that still held power over these lands. Sitting silently he looked into the fire that was before him as he sat alone. His minds were just as dark as his eyes were the only color flickering over them was the dance of the flames before him. He had a mission to complete but thoughts lingered in a tired mind as a pale chin raised dull black eyes towards the sky. He only seemed to have one thought on his mind and out of everything he wondered wy a flash of yellow and scared whiskered cheeks was all that he saw before he closed his dark orbs. Sinking his head he sighed as he pushed bangs back “Why…after all these years do you return to me now?” He asked the silence around him not sure if he was even going to get an answer.

Hack. Slash. Gush. Splatter.

Those were his only sounds as he ran through the corridors of the newest hideout. He didn’t blink as he moved through the masses taking down anyone that seemed to stand in his way. That was however until he reached the end of the long wind to get to where the room he wanted ended. Though it was not as simple as entering the room. No instead he was forced to a skidding stop as a figure before him stopped his easy entry. Standing tall black eyes flared red but he kind of stopped midstep at what he saw. There was something about the flow of chakra from the figure before him that almost made him question everything!!!

“Whats the matter…” An all to well known voice spoke but it was also not known at the same time. “Fox got your tongue….” With that the hood was lowered and golden strands fell over a black cloak making red eyes widen. “Your dead.” It was the simple statement that came from the raven haired boy infront of him causing golden locks to fall as a head was tipped to the side. “No. Near dead; yes. Left for dead…” Here he paused for a moment “…yes.” That was what seemed to catch the attention of the male before him. “Yet you know all about things like that don’t you…” now dull dead blue eyes opened to look right into those swirling red ones. “….Sasuke…” The word was said with such intent it almost sounded like the snake bastard said them himself.

Sasuke stood there with an emotionless look on his face. His head was tilted slightly to the side with the thought of what the male was doing here. “You do realise that this is one of Orochimarus labs don’t you?” He said and the blonde gave a nod of his head. “Then why…” but his words stopped as a little defeated sad smile raised corners of tired looking mouth. “I see.” The male said now taking a taller stance as he stood there with his sword dripping blood. Naruto then removed his own blade and let the well known wind chakra take hold of it causing the crackle of many birds take hold of Sasukes as the males blade was covered in lightening. Each gave no signal as to when or what was about to happen . There was no warning only the sound of blade hitting blade as the fight began.

It had continued for hours and hours before one of them even faltered. Sasuke had his curse seal activated. Black eyes and gross wings uncurled from the last attack. He was panting looking at the blonde before him. The blond however stood there with his head tilted. From all of the actions his hair had fallen out of the tie and now rested around him giving him an almost halo effect. There were cuts and stab wounds that covered the smaller frame and yet the male stood breathing calmly as if he had just awoke from a well-rested dream. It was starting to irritate Sasuke. None of this was making sense to him! Naruto had hunted him down many times and this fight would always happen but for some reason this was different and not in a good way. There was no cursing of him to bring him ‘home’ or to ‘save’ him. It was just a fight with a murderous intent. For the first time he felt as though Naruto was trying to kill him.

There was a cold chill that rested in the air around them. Looking the male over before him Sasuke settled onto those eyes and stopped. The normally life filled blue eyes were…dead. So hallow they held no emotion or pain… they held nothing. As if out of nowhere the sudden realization of what was happening hit him. Standing tall red swirling eyes glared towards lifeless blue. “Tell me Naruto.” A slightly panting voice spoke “What exactly is your goal here?” Narutos head turned a little and a small smile that almost sent a shiver down Sasukes spine as he spoke “To kill you.” The words were so simple yet held so much more meaning. Now he had only one more unanswered question. “For whom?” A pale head tilted a little with the question but his heart soon picked up its pace as the smile on Narutos face grew. “You know exactly….” The words slowed as the swirls of black ink crept over a nose coloring an eye and darkening the golden strands ever so slightly. “…from whom.”

“Lord Kazekage!” The sudden shout of his title caused Gaara to turn his head. A flash of pink met his eye before he gave a little nod. “Sakura.” “Mi’lord are you headed for the village?” She asked with a tilt of her head as the rest of her group joined up. Sai, Hinata and Kiba all jumped through the trees behind them as Gaara, Temari and Konkaru now joined by Sakura jumped ahead of them never missing a branch. The kazekage gave a nod but before he could say something there was an explosion ahead that stopped his words. Instantly they all looked to one another and with a slight change of direction headed for the noise.

Sasuke huffed as he stood there bleeding from almost every limb that he had. Naruto before him was the same but instead of pain he showed nothing!! “So tell me Naruto…” Sasuke said as he charged again with a chidori in hand. “How could you let that snake manipulate you!?” The words had more meaning then he knew. For a split moment Naruto faltered and the jutsu went right through a now bare shoulder. However it didn’t last long. In an instant he held the hand there as the sounds of thousands of birds cracked in his ear. The lightening gave a sick glow to a paling whiskered face “If I remember correctly you allowed it once to.” There was a splatter of blood but Naruto didn’t blink as it slid down his face.

When they reached the scene it turned their stomachs. A crater in massive size had incaved a great deal of the forest floor. Trees were scattered and knocked over all around the clearing. A few burnt to almost nothing but it was the two in the middle of this massive crater that made them stop.

Naruto stood with his head to the side looking at the dull face of Sasuke. Chidori through a shoulder and a blade through a chest both stood in a locked embrace that screamed death. “You always said you were better then me. Calling me dead last or moron.” With the last word the blade twisted causing the male before him to cough a splatter of blood on a whiskered cheek. “Was it so wrong of me to crave the same power and hatred?” The words dripped so much ice that Sasuke himself shivered. Never could he even think that something like this would happen! Before another thought could cross his mind he was forced back. The chidori was ripped from the strong shoulder and the blade from his chest causing a slight gasp to fall from his lips.

He didn’t have time to jump back as a scream reached his ears and a flash of pink before he was thrown back with such force he didn’t have time to catch himself. Bracing for the impact he was shocked when he met with a cradle of sand instead. Looking up he was joined by many others but before he could say anything he was pushed to the back and guarded as another explosion rang out and debris came towards them.

Saurka jumped and aimed every kick and punch she had towards her once best friend. “Naruto you have to snap out of it!” Another punch fallowed her words sending the male flying back. Naruto caught himself before his back slammed into the tree behind him. With a deep breath he raised himself though the sudden action made him stumble a little. His mind maybe stronger then anything but the body could only take so much before it forced the mind to shut down. He was reaching his limit and needed to end this now.

Hand signs and hundreds of clones later he scattered. Clones taking off in every direction had the group splitting. Puff after puff the clones began to fade leaving handfuls still fighting and running. “Uchiha where is the real Naruto going?” The question was simple and he knew the male would have an answer though when he got nothing in reply he turned to his sand only to stop when he found nothing there. In the midst of everything he had slipped away, Cursing the kazegae turned back and walked into the tree line.

Sasuke jumped through the trees fallowing the markers he knew were there. “Come on dobe I know you are out there!” He screamed into the darkness. A sudden flash of golden yellow met with midnight black and sparks flew between them. Clangs came and went as the two battled back and fourth. Narutos body was starting to fail and he had to blink out the darkness from his eyes a couple times. “I will bring you back to me!” That was the last thing blonde ears heard before a sudden pain hit the back of his head, chest and stomach all at once. Instantly his world went black.
