The Eagle and the Kitten
Chapter one Scared
"Hello you must be Suki one of our new students please follow me." I had been met by this strange jonin upon my arrival in the Konoha Village, now I trailed him a few meters behind as he led me through the village to the academy. "Here you are the academy go on in." The jonin said giving me a hard shove. A light sweat broke on my forehead as I entered the classroom, everyone in the room turned their eyes on me. Trying hard to keep knees from knocking together I approached the Sensei's desk and spoke in a trembling voice "erm sorry to bother you Sensei…." The Sensei stood, glanced at me and spoke, "ahh Suki hello there are three free seats take your pick." I turned and glanced around looking for my only true friend. Knowing him, he could be dodging his fans at this time. My eyes scanned the curios crowd, easily catching every boy's eye in the classroom. Sighing I pulled my midnight black hair from it's tie, rolled my shoulders and causally conjured up a brush and began brushing my hair out as I walked to the back of the class and lay down. Stretching myself out I closed my eyes trying to relax. "Erm Suzi maybe you would feel better in a chair." "No thank you Sensei I am perfectly fine as I am." The ninja shrugged and scanned the room seeming to look for something; I let my eyes close again, falling asleep easily. I dozed for a bit until l I sensed him coming and as my classmates watched, I rose, stretched and walked to the middle of the classroom. I spoke to them as I shook myself out, "brace yourselves guys!" As if on cue I heard it, the stampede that always surrounded him, trailed him like dogs and readied myself, eyes locked on the door.
Chapter two friends reunite
I heard and felt them before I could react; the girls were a lot faster than I remembered them to be. I had to put all my strength into my legs as I fought them off. When I was done I knew my cover was blown sky high so I stopped playing around and used my special move on the head fangirls, Ino and Sakura. The move smashed both their faces in and smashed a couple of their ribs. I fell to my knees, panting hard, sweat dripping from my forehead. "Need a hand kitten?" I smiled and took my friend's extended hand and placed most of my weight on my friend's shoulders. "Welcome back to the village kitten, oh and happy 16th!" I looked around at my classmates and smiled, "hey Naruto get down here mate!" I hollered at the half asleep blonde ninja in the back row. I watched as the kid woke up, saw me and charged at me knocking me and the kid holding me up flat, "SUZI IT'S YOU!" Naruto screeched at the top of his lungs. I laughed as my two best mates pinned me to the floor, chattering and asking questions of me. "Now now boys let her up I'm sure she's exhausted from her journey." I heard a calm voice command from behind me. The boys obeyed letting me sit up. "hello Kakashi nice to hear your voice again." The man knelt down to my face and chuckled, "hello Suzi how've you been?" I smirked and coughed slightly, "not bad." "Sasuke's been so excited to see you come back." My old Sensei commented out of the blue. I laughed happily, "well he is my best mate Kakashi!" the man grinned and pulled me up to my feet, hugging me, "nice to see you again wolf pup!" As Kakashi released me my cell phone rang, glancing at it I sighed, flipped it open and answered it, "what is it Itachi-Sensei?" I listened intently to his calm collected voice. "HE DID WHAT? Damn him!" I struggled to hold my knees steady as well as my voice as I spoke, "Itachi Sensei please retrieve it before he blows my deepest secret, it involves your clan is all you need to know, just please retrieve my diary." I sighed as the call ended, finally letting myself lose control of my knees allowing the youngest Uchiha to catch me in his arms. I closed my eyes begging silently, "Itachi please please please get my diary back please!" I felt strong arms lift me up, carry me out and take me all the way to the Forest of Death before laying me down gently.
Chapter three special treatment
I must have fallen asleep because when I opened my eyes again, it was sunset. Groaning from soreness I sat up and was hit by a wave of nausea and dizziness which made me retch out my guts. I doubled over sweating with a burning pain in my abdomen; I knew then and there that something was wrong, very wrong. I felt my body gently searching for problems throughout it. I gasped as I felt my ribs and abdomen. "damn!" I muttered, I had a fever with some broken ribs. "Suzi thank goodness you're awake!" the raven boy dashed up to me, I gasped in surprise at the way the Uchiha looked. I had forgotten how good he looked. Sasuke had grown tall, lanky. He now had muscles that ripped when he moved, his raven bangs fell limply across his forehead. Sasuke grinned and twirled as I admired his looks kneeling by my side when I had had my fill of him. He was still the same Sasuke I had known all those years back yet older and more mature now. I lay back letting my best mate make a gentle but through examination of me. I gritted my teeth when he probed my tender parts, not allowing him to see my pained face. Sasuke frowned when I did this which made me smile and chuckle in response. He was obviously remembering our younger days when we were best mates with one difference, I had a crush on his older brother then which was not the case now I was his student. Sasuke wore the clothing of his clan; I wore the same with a black leather jacket covering his family symbol. "Suzi you have five cracked ribs." My friend murmured quietly catching and holding my gaze and attention in his liquid onyx eyes. Sasuke slipped my jacket off my shoulders gently. I lay my head on his stomach closing his eyes, "Sasuke I'm sorry I caused you so much pain." I murmured. My best mate relaxed the muscles in his gut and stroked my hair, "it's fine Suzi I'm over it" Sasuke picked me up and carried me to his place where I slept on his bed for days. Sasuke watched me sleep un a chair beside his bed. I awoke on the seventh day to his handsome face. I stayed with Sasuke Uchiha to the fangirl's dismay until I was well again. On this fine day the sun was shining over me and I felt great. Sasuke was whistling as he came through the door with breakfast. "good morning kitten how are you?" Sasuke asked as he set the breakfast on my lap. "good Sasuke very good." My friend laughed and stroked my cheek, "good kitten good." My friend's hand never left my face and he was very insistant I eat every bite. When I was done Sasuke placed the breakfast tray on the bedside table and asked, "Suzi will you move in with me?"
Chapter four roommates
I stared at that perfect face, speechless. This had been my dream since I was six years old, to be with an Uchiha. Smirking Sasuke gently closed my mouth which had dropped open involuntarily when he had posed the question. I blinked my amber chocolate eyes a couple of times as the boy of my dreams awaited quietly for my reply. When I finally found my voice again, my throat was desert dry. I desperately needed a drink so sliently I slid from the bed and bolted for the bathroom. I heard Sasuke's light bare footsteps not far behind. I could feel his eyes and that devious smirk of his boring into the back of my skull as I stuck my head under the tap, turned the knob and gulped down the cool refreshing water, wetting my fringe and neck as I did so. When I was done I twisted the knob to the off position and brought my head up before facing the smirking Uchiha. I took a deep breath, "Uchiha I would love to move in with you." With that I said I ran to the boy and threw my arms around his neck. It took Sasuke a second or two to respond for he was not used to this treatment but when he did, his arms came around my waist I felt his hot voice murmer against my ear, "you are very welcome Suzi." We stood there awhile holding each other close before breaking apart. Sasuke took my hand and led me back to his bedroom. Sasuke sat me down on his bed, and rummaged through his closet, the bottom of it. I watched the boy in the closet on his knees. Sasuke came up from the closet with a bundle. He motioned to me with one finger. Curious I followed him into the bathroom where he closed the door, "Suzi if you're gonna be my roommate you have to look the part now please change into these." Sasuke handed me the clothes and left holding the door firmly shut. I shrugged and changed into the clothes thinking nothing of it. I was doing my hair in a plait with a sliver tie when I heard a pop and the voice I knew so well chuckle. I turned around grinning, " you like?" Sasuke's older brother, Itachi appraised me with sparkling dark onyx blue eyes, "very nice Suzi the look suits you." He strode over to me and handed me my bright blue duffel bag, "here your things including your diary." I kissed his jaw line lightly, "thank you Sensei." Itachi looked away, a light rose climbing up his neck. I smiled and ruffled the elder one's hair, "Suzi take care of yourself and my baby brother." I laughed, "Itachi he is hardly a baby anymore." Itachi smirked, "you're right he is a man now." with a ruffle of my hair, Itachi was gone. Shouldering my duffel I opened the door and tried to sidestep my new roommate who sturbbornly blocked my way. " what's in the bag Suzi?" I answered him without looking up, ' my stuff, diary book writing stuff notebooks." Shrugging my mate let me pass to my room.
Chapter five dating
A few days later Sasuke and I were walking up the street in Konoha. It seemed now that everyone in the village had coupled up for a date, everyone except me and my best mates. Sakura and Naruto had never taken to each other although Naruto was smitten with her. This was why I was surprised when Naruto came striding down the street holding Sakura's hand. Sasuke had gone to get us some ice cream so I was alone at the time. "hey Naruto how're you doing?" I asked my friend who was bouncing happily on the balls of his feet. " great Suzi!" I laughed heartily at Sakura who grinned in response. I had never liked the pink-haired konichi, she hung around Sasuke too much, but I was glad Naruto was happy. The poor boy had had misery plaguing him all his life. I was glad there was finally some good in the blonde's life. Sasuke appeared then tripping over Naruto's outstretched leg. Glaring at Naruto I quickly flipped into a somersault and caught the ice cream in midair which had gone flying. Sasuke rolled as he hit the ground after a triple flip. " sorry Suzi the dope tripped me." I handed my mate his frozen treat and smiled, "no sweat Sasuke." Sakura shifted uneasily, "erm guys we have news, big news!" As Sasuke rolled his eyes making me smile we turned our attention on the young girl, "yes Sakura what is it?" we asked at the same time. "Naruto and I are dating now!" Sasuke clapped Naruto on the back, "congrats man you finally did it!" I laughed as our blonde mate blushed tomato red, "thanks you two!" I hugged both Naruto and Sakura and growled in a low tone at the pink haired girl, "you hurt Naruto and you deal with me!" frightened slightly and going pale Sakura backed off. Naruto seemed confused as we turned and walked away from the couple.
Chapter six new friends
The next day Sasuke led me to his room before I was dressed. "Suzi I have a surprise for you." I lazed around on his bed yawning and half-asleep. I nodded my consent for him to continue. Laughing Sasuke continued, "so anyway my twin brother Kisuke and his girl are coming back home today after a yearlong misson." Hearing this I sat bolt upright. " you have a twin brother Sasuke?" seeing my panicked look Sasuke draped his arm round my shoulders, "don't worry Suzi he isn't anything like Itachi, he's kinda a replica of me." I sighed with relief and sagged against him, "don't scare me like that Uchiha." Sasuke stroked my neck gently, "Suzi I'm sorry, now get dressed and take a shower not in that order of course." I chuckled lightly at my friend's light joke and coaxing and followed his advice. Once we were dressed, me in my Uchiha clothing borrowed from Sasuke. Sasuke in his normal cute attire doing my hair and making me laugh as we went. Not far from the village gates I tackled Sasuke playfully knocking him to the ground where we wrestled roughly until a smooth voice interrupted us, "erm excuse me can you get off my brother please?" startled I leapt up dusted myself off and retreated some. I kept back as the brothers embraced waiting to introduce myself. Sasuke let go chuckling, "Suzi this is Kisuke my twin brother." I looked the boy in front of me up and down. He was certainly Sasuke's twin brother, he had on a navy blue shirt with his family symbol of the Uchiha on his stomach. Kisuke's black raven hair went straight down ending just above the shoulders. He had on white pants and his shirt had white sleeves. I shook Kisuke's hand, "nice to meet you, my name is Suzi, I am your brother's mate and roommate." Nodding, Kisuke replied, "Suzi this is my girl, Akari." He said gesturing to the redhead who stood beside him. Akari had medium red hair that fell slightly below her shoulders and wore khaki capris belted with a kunai pack. She wore a light burgundy shirt, her eyes were a sapphire that sparkled. They both wore standard ninja sandals on their feet. "Hi Akari my name is Suzi I hope we can be great friends." Akari smiled, "me too Suzi are you and Sasuke?" I shook my head, "no roommates and best mates." Akari nodded, smiling. Just at that moment I felt the ground shake and tremble, Sasuke acted quickly and shoved Akari along with himself and his brother into the bushes. So I stood alone and faced the onslaught I could hear coming. The ground shook harder as the crowd skidded to a halt in front of me. "what can I do for you girls?" "tell us where Kisuke went!" one demanded. I saw Leiko and Azula stride up to me . I smiled, "well hello you two, long time no see." Two pairs of eyes, one emerald green and one sky blue locked onto their target, me. Leiko smirked and snapped her fingers sending the crowd of fangirls at me. I dispensed the crowd fast, panting hard with sweat dripping off me. I knew I had to perform the forbidden technique. I did the handsigns and yelled, "Amaterasu Black Flames Dragon!" swirling power surrounded me and erupted into black chakra transforming into a huge black dragon that hovered above my head. The girls were pale white with fear and shook at the sight of my conjured dragon. I cackled sadistically and sent my dragon after them. I could feel my strength draining from me as the jutsu took it's toll but as I fainted I smiled at myself, "at I chased them off." This was my last thought before I blacked out.
Chapter Seven The Dance
I woke up four days later and Itachi-Sensei , Naruto, Sakura, Kisuke Akari and Sasuke were all watching me closely, concerned. "Itachi-Sensei what are you doing here?" "Suzi that jutsu alerts me every time you use it remember?" I blinked once and laughed, "oh yeah I forgot." I sat up, yelping slightly. "guys back off me please!" I gasped in pain. They all obeyed but I motioned to Sasuke who came closer on cue. I smiled, "Sasuke thank you." my best mate was puzzled, "for what?" I laughed, "for giving me a home and trusting me again." Sasuke smirked in reply. "now everyone out! I have to shower and change." Everyone but Sakura and Akari left. When they had closed the door I cast a jutsu that would make sure no one would hear us, " you know?" I asked. Sakura squealed, " you're kidding right? It's all over both your faces!" Akari was puzzled, " um am I missing something important here?" Sakura screamed louder, "SUZI HAS A CRUSH ON SASUKE!" embarrassed, I flushed a deep crimson and my head went down so I stared at the bedcovers. Akari wrapped her arms around me and squeezed tight, "oh Suzi I'm so happy for you!" as she drew back I coughed a little blood, "whoops sorry Suzi I forgot are you ok?" Akari asked, apology and concern clear on her face. I nodded, smiling, "yeah Akari I'm fine don't worry." Akari sighed, relieved. I looked over to Sakura, "both?" I questioned her skeptically eyeing her. Sakura sat on the edge of my bed fixing me with an intense emerald green stare. "Suzi I've been mates with Sasuke forever, he seriously really does like you." "ok so what do I do about it?" I asked her truthfully. "ask him to the dance this Friday as your date." Sakura replied. "Thanks Sakura!" I said throwing my arms around her neck, hugging her. Sakura smiled, "hey I owe you for getting me and Naru together, you're welcome and now shower and get dressed." And with that she broke the seal of the jutsu and and walked out closing the door behind her. I showered, got dressed, brushed and plaited my hair with his favorite tie and barrettes. Once I was ready I opened the door and headed for the living room where the noise was coming from. I pushed open the door to the living room smiling as Naruto burst out, " "SUZI YOU LOOK REALLY BEATIFUL!" "Thanks where's Mr. Raven?" Itachi smirked "showering man I haven't seen those barrettes since we met." I chuckled, "your brother's favorite Sasuke's anyway." I stretched out lazily on the sofa over Naruto and waited. Sasuke came in looking as handsome of ever with damp hair. When he saw me his jaw dropped speechless. Itachi walked over and nudged his little brother gently whispering something in his ear. Sasuke strode forward and asked, " Suzi will you go to the dance this Friday?" "what as your date you mean? " I asked. Sasuke blushed a little then nodded. Smirking and winking at Sakura I stood walked up to him and whispered in his ear, "I would be honored to to go with you Sasuke." Sasuke hugged me hard, "thanks" I chuckled, "Itachi can you?" "Suzi my student it's already done , just enjoy the dance with my bro." I laughed and nodded. On the night of the dance I wore black jeans with high heels with a sliver tank top. Sasuke wore my favorite shirt I loved on him, a black shirt with his family symbol embroided in sliver on his back, his pants were black. I had my bangs clipped in sliver barrettes to keep it out of my eyes. Once we were both ready we held hands and went to the dance. When we started to dance Sasuke spoke, "Suzi I love you will you be mine?" I kissed him on the lips, "oh Sasuke Uchiha of course I will."
