Chapter 2: Kurenai Yūhi
A week has passed since Ayame became Narutos mate. She was still wearing her torn kimono, which gotten much dirtier within the week. She had like Naruto accustomed to walk on all fours. On the clearing stood the new team 8 from Konoha. This team consisted of Hinata Hyuga, Shino Aburame and Kiba Inuzuka. There sensei was Kurenai Yūhi. Hinata wore a blue Anbu pants and a gray-violet jacket. Her headband was around her neck. Kiba was wearing gray pants and a gray leather jacket. On his face were the typical clan markings and around his forehead he wore his headband. Shino was wearing a green hooded jacket, which had a very high collar. Through that his face was hardly seen. You could only see that he was wearing sunglasses and wore his headband on his forehead. Kurenai Yūhi wore a kind of dress made of bandages. Underneath she wore a mesh shirt. She was wearing no pants, but had a pair of bandages wrapped around her waist and thighs. She wore her headband like most Ninja on the forehead. They just came from a mission and made a last little rest in the forest before they returned to Konoha. Normally Kurenai would not choose the path through the forest. However, they were all tired and it was the fastest way.
"Okay team. Let's break up." said Kurenai. Her team nodded and grabbed there things. When they were about to leave, Akamaru, Kibas dog, stopped suddenly and ran to a bush.
"Hey, Akamaru! Stay here," Kiba cried his dog after. The dog quickly jumped into the bush and came a second later back. In its mouth, the group realized, was something blue.
"What are you doing here boy?" Kiba asked his dog. The dog hands the subject to his master, who unfolded the object. He immediately recognized the object as Ayames apron.
"Kurenai-sensei! This belongs to Ayame-chan!" cried Kiba. Kurenai looked surprised to the apron and took it. Of course they had heard of the disappearance of the young girl.
"Akamaru? Show us where you found the skirt." bat the woman the dog friendly. He barked shortly before he tappet back towards the bush. Team 8 followed the dog quickly and finally came to the clearing where Naruto had marked Ayame as his mate a week ago. Kurenai immediately saw the white scraps of Ayames kimono in the clearing and knew that she was close to solving the mystery behind the disappearance of the girl.
"Okay team, change of the plan. You guys go to the Hokage and asked for reinforcements. I'll stay here and investigate the tracks further. If we're lucky, we find the poor girl today."
Her team nodded briefly before they made their way to the Hokage-Tower. Kurenai looked at her team for a while before she watched the scene of crime. Without noticing it, she was observed secretly from Naruto. Kurenai knelt beside the shred and examined the field. Quickly, she recognized the spot where Ayame had lain since the grass was pressed down. She further examined the field, till she found brown and blonde hair.
"Blonde hair? Maybe a Yamanaka." she said to herself. She grabbed the hair in one of her pockets for later investigations. Her eyes fell on a spot in the field, which was pressed down very deep. She scanned the area quickly and found dried blood which has been mixed with a white liquid. Kurenai wrinkled her nose in disgust when she saw the spot.
"If it really was a Yamanaka, who raped her, then the clan will pay." swore she angry.
In the bushes Naruto watched curious the black-haired. She was completely different than his Ayame. He wondered what was the different to his mate. He knew that she would not understand him, he just did not know how he could explain to her the situation with Ayame. Kurenai looked at him in surprise. "Did you find anything?" asked the team leader of the Anbu.
"Hai, Senpai. Our mission here is finished." said the kneeling Anbu. The other four adults nodded, even when Asuma hesitated a little bit. After all, he had feelings for the black-haired women and really wanted to find her. The six Genin, however, were horrified by the statement of the Anbu.
"B-but what about K-Kurenai-sensei?" Hinata asked.
"I agree! We need to find her!" cried Kiba in agreement with Hinata. The other four Genin nodded in agreement. However, when they saw Asumas stern look, they fell silent quickly.
"The decision is not with you Genin. We will now report all the Hokage. He will then decide how to proceed." he tells them with a stern look. He nodded to the Anbu before the group departed to the Hokage. The Genin stayed back for a few moments before they followed the adult.
