  Far away in another world, a young man with blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyes sat staring at the cards held in his hand. His face screwed into a look of deep concentration.
  “Oh, come on Naruto how long do you have to take here?” a pretty pink haired girl said in obvious irritation.
  “Ok Ok . Geez keep your panties on. Hhhhmmmm……do you have any sixes?” said Naruto with a look of hope on his face.
  “No, go fish.”
  Naruto threw his cards down with a sigh. “ Ugh, I don’t want to play this game anymore lets do something else.”
  Naruto Uzumaki looked up at the few friends seated around his table. It was a rare sight to see all of them at the same time but today was a special occasion. Today they were celebrating his 19^th birthday.
   
  It made him happy to know he had someone to celebrate with. His family having all abandoned him when he was born and none of the foster families he had growing up cared enough to even learn when his birthday was. It was lucky that he knew when his birthday was himself.
  Sitting straight across from him was Sakura. She was beautiful with pink hair and emerald green eyes. She was the first friend he ever had. She had lived next door to the man who had finally adopted him at age 10. He was so happy he finally had a play mate. The brown haired boy sitting next to her was her boyfriend Jeremy. He hasn’t been part of the group but for the last year or so but he was a pretty cool guy. He would come over every week to make sure that Naruto’s car was still running smoothly (he had a really crappy car). Naruto was happy that Sakura had found someone to make her happy.
  On the other side of the table sat his two best friends Roger and his lover Michael. They all met in high school four years ago becoming fast friends. They always did everything together. And standing at the sink washing dishes was Martin, the man who had adopted him and raised him. He wasn’t the best father in the world but he did his best to provide Naruto with everything he needed.
  He couldn’t be happier than he was right then at that very moment. A wide grin spread across his face.
  “Michael, challenge you to wwe12.”
  “Your on.”
  They raced to the living room and sat up the ps3. Each grabbed a controller while the others ordered pizza, turned on some music, and gathered around to watch.
  　
  　
  Several hours later………….
  　
  “Bye guys thanks for coming.”
  “Happy birthday Naruto.” Roger and Michael both said. They each gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek ( they were very friendly).
  Jeremy wished him a happy birthday as well and shook his hand. Letting Sakura know he’d be waiting out in the car he turned and walked out the door. Sakura nodded and shut the door behind him. She turned to Naruto’s confused look. She smiled and grabbed his arm and dragged him to his bedroom.
  After pushing him inside she closed the door and walked over to his closet.
  “I hid this here earlier so you wouldn’t find it.” she laughed.
  She pulled out a small box from the top shelf of his closet. He tried to look around her to see what it was but he couldn’t see until she turned around and held the nicely wrapped box out for him to take.
  “ I found this in a small little shop on the other side of town. The woman who owns the shop said that if you make a wish on the night of your birthday then the wish comes true. I thought you might like it. Happy birthday Naruto.”
  Naruto took the box and opened it. Inside was a small little box in the shape of a dream catcher. It was beautiful. He looked up at Sakura and smiled giving her a big hug and kiss on the cheek.
  “Thanks Sakura. I love it.”
  “I’m glad you do hehe. I should probably get out there its kind of cold tonight. Don’t forget to make your wish ok. Happy Birthday.” and with that she left.
  Naruto held the box in his hands. He couldn’t help but think that he had everything he wanted. A great family and wonderful friends. There was only one thing missing. One thing he didn’t he’d ever find. What could be the worst that happens he wondered.
  So he closed his eyes and he made his wish. Setting the box down on the night stand next to his bed he called good night to his dad and climbed into his bed falling asleep instantly. Dreams of a strange land and a handsome king plaguing his unconscious mind.
