A/N: Alright everyone thanks for the reviews so far. I'm trying to go with pairings that aren't that common or haven't been seen in a while for this story otherwise I would typically do Naruto with Hinata and Sakura. Voting will end the two weeks after the fifth chapter of the story is posted.
Rise Of The Namikaze

Chapter 2

Tayuya wasn't surprised like everyone else that Naruto had beat Neji so easily but then no one really knew what she knew either. As she watched the rest of the match's she started to think about the things that had happened to her in the past couple weeks.

Flash Back
Twelve days before the chunin finals
Tayuya smiled as she sat at the ramen stand enjoying a bowl of ramen and thinking about the coming date she and Naruto had when a ANBU with a cat mask walked up behind her.
"Excuse me Tayuya." Said Yugao as the red haired girl looked up from her ramen at the ANBU captain.
"Is there something you need?" Tayuya asked as Yugao nodded.
"Your presence is requested at the Hokage Tower." She said as Tayuya got a sinking feeling in her stomach while she nodded before getting up and heading to the tower with Yugao.
When Tayuya arrived she noticed Naruto was standing in the room as well his arms crossed while he looked at her his normal warm smile had been replaced with a look of indifference.
"Here she is Lord Kage." Said Yugao closing the doors behind her before the entire room erupted in glowing seals.
"Now that we have our privacy is there something you would like to discuss with us Tayuya?" Asked Hiruzen as Tayuya fidgeted in her spot while her heart began to race.
"Tayuya now's the time to come clean you won't get another chance." Said Yugao as Tayuya clenched her fist some how she had been caught and she knew it. She looked at Naruto who just stared back his eyes unwavering showing no sign of warmth but also not showing any coldness or hate toward her but she still hated that look it made her feel depressed it made her heart ach it made her feel like she was alone again.
"I'm really a kunoichi for Oto and was ordered by Orochimaru to kill Naruto." She said hanging her head as Hiruzen and Yugao nodded while Tayuya felt her eyes begin to tear up while Naruto shoved his hands in his pocket and turned away from her as she looked up at him. "Naruto please listen to me, that may have been my mission and that's how I approached it but I found that I enjoy being with you and I was going to drag this mission out till the last possible moment." She said as everyone listened.
"So how did you plan to kill me?" Naruto asked.
"The night before the finals I planned on giving myself to you then after you fell asleep I was going to slit your throat, after that I was going to do the same thing to myself." She replied as tears began to roll down her face. "Because I don't want to go back to Orochimaru I can't bear being alone like that anymore I don't want to die in misery when I die I want it to be during the happiest part of my life and the happiest part of my life has been the time I've spent with you." She said as Hiruzen lit his pipe while Yugao placed Tayuya's hands behind her back and put some shackles on her wrists then placing a seal on her neck making her fall to her knees as she felt her chakra start to leave her. "I really do love you Naruto." She said as Yugao looked as Hiruzen all three of them could easily tell when someone was lying and Tayuya wasn't lying to them.
"I see so if you love him so much then why continue with your mission and then kill yourself when you could've just come to me and told me everything." Said Hiruzen as Tayuya shook her head.
"I also bear Orochimaru's curse mark if he found out I betrayed him then he would kill me on the spot through it and he probably will since he'll probably find out I was brought here." She said as Yugao shook her head.
"My team took out anyone who was following us." She said as Tayuya sighed.
"It won't matter I'm as good as dead either way." She muttered. Yugao again looked at Hiruzen who nodded before she removed the seal she placed on Tayuya's neck then the shackles while Tayuya looked at her then Hiruzen confusion on her tear stained face as Hiruzen smiled.
"I swear Naruto you and your father both have an annoying talent for changing the hearts and minds of people in away that makes things troublesome." Said Hiruzen pulling his hat down as Naruto smiled while Tayuya looked at him confused.
"This was a test Tayuya-chan." He said. "You see I found your curse seal a week ago on one of our picnics at first I thought about calling the ANBU but then I realized I had left you plenty of openings for you to take advantage of if you met to harm me." He continued. "So I talked it over Saurutobi-jiji and came up with this little test." He finished as Tayuya stood.
"This test was to see if you would come clean about who you really are and what purpose you were sent here for or if you were going to lie to very end before trying to foolishly escape." Said Hiruzen. "You passed our test and since you've been so honest with us I am willing to offer you a place in Konoha's shinobi forces on probation under Naruto of course, and on the condition that you tell me all of Orochimau's plans for the invasion." He continued placing a Konoha bandanna on his desk as Tayuya looked at it before walking toward it.
"Are you serious?" She asked as Hiruzen nodded.
"I could always have Cat here take you to jail if you like." He said as Tayuya quickly snatched the bandanna.
"If it means being with Naruto then I'll gladly take your offer." She said as Hiruzen nodded.
"I think your father and mother would've approved of how you went about doing this Naruto." Said Yugao patting his head making him grumble about not being a little kid anymore.
"Who was your dad anyway?" Asked Tayuya as Naruto chuckled before turning her around.
"Take a look at the portraits of the previous Kage's and tell me who you see." He said as Tayuya looked at the pictures before her eyes landed on the Yondaime's picture her eye's widening.
"You're the Yondaime's son?" She asked as Hiruzen laughed.
"She's one of the few people who actually can see the resemblance." He laughed as Naruto grinned.
"Orochimau told me about Kyuubi but didn't mention you were the Yondaimes son but why doesn't he have whisker marks like you?" Said Tayuya as Naruto looked at her.
"Orochimaru told you about Kyuubi?" He asked as she nodded.
"I don't really care about it I mean you're not the Kyuubi it's self otherwise you probably would've wasted this village by now." She said as Naruto laughed while everyone else just smiled.
"The reason why I have whisker marks and he doesn't is because I was born with them you see my mother was the previous jinchuriki for the Kyuubi. On the night of my birth it some how escaped but no one could find her body when she was brought to the hospital after the sealing." He said as Tayuya looked at him sadly. "Her name was Uzumaki Kushina." He said as Tayuya's eye's widened.
"Uzumaki Kushina?" She asked as Naruto nodded. "I know where she is." She said as everyone perked up hearing that. "There's a woman in Orochimaru's lab with long red hair and she has a round face the name on her bed chart was Uzumaki Kushina." She said as everyone's eye's widened.
"She's alive?" Hiruzen asked as Tayuya nodded.
"In a coma but she's alive." She said as Hiruzen nodded.
"I want you to show us where Orochimaru's base is." Said Hiruzen as Tayuya nodded while he pulled out a map. "Cat I want you to find Jiraiya and get your team and Tenzo's team together." He continued as Yugao nodded vanishing in a swirl of leaves. Tayuya looked through the gathered maps of Oto that Hiruzen had gotten a hold of.
"Here." She said pulling out a map then taking a pen and circling a wooded area on it. "That's the base she's being kept in." She said as Hiruzen nodded. "It's under ground but the entrance is located near the river." She continued.
"Excellent you're both dismissed then." He said as both Naruto and Tayuya nodded.
"Oh Sarutobi-jiji don't forget to send that request to the land of Demons." Said Naruto as Hiruzen nodded.
Six days later tower in the center of training ground forty four
A woman with long hair wearing a shrine maidens outfit stood in the middle of a large room with Tayuya sitting in front of her gritting her teeth as a spot on the back of her neck glowed.
"Such foul chakra." Thought the woman as she continued before Tayuya cried out in pain while gripping her chair tightly.
"How's it going Miroku-sama?" Asked Hiruzen as the woman grunted a little.
"The chakra your former student uses is incredibly dark I'm slowly destroying it but it will take a little more time." She said as Hiruzen nodded. "What about Anko then?" He asked as Miroko shook her head.
"This is taking everything I have I'll have to rest for awhile after I'm done after that I will return to do the same with her." She said as Hiruzen nodded.
One hour later
Tayuya sat in her chair panting as she groaned while leaning back.
"It is done the tainted chakra has been removed now I must return and rest." Said Miroku as Hiruzen nodded.
"Thank you for coming all this way Miroku-sama if you need anything of me just ask." He said as Miroku looked at him.
"I wish to speak to Naruto." She said as Hiruzen nodded while leaving as Naruto entered.
"Thanks for helping Tayuya Miroku." He said as she smiled.
"I wish to make a request Naruto, you can consider it payment for me helping your friend." She said as Naruto nodded. "I ask that when the time comes to please take care of my daughter Shion the life that is a head of her will be rough and she will need your help." She said as Naruto looked at her confused.
"How will I know when to fulfill this request?" He asked as Miroku smiled.
"You will know...son." She said bending down and kissing his forehead making him blush before she left the room.
"What the fuck was that about?" Tayuya asked tiredly.
"Hell if I know." Naruto replied lifting her up like he would a bride while she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"You spoil me to much." She muttered leaning her head against his chest as they left the tower.
Present time
Tayuya was soon shaken from her thoughts as feathers began to fall from the sky making her frown as she raised her hand up dispelling the feathers around her and then noticing Orochimaru and Hiruzen battling on the roof of the nearby building her former teammates already taking there positions. Tayuya quickly jumped up onto the building taking her own position as a barrier was raised around the roof. She watched as a boy with red hair ran through the hole in the stadium wall with Naruto in pursuit.
"Nice to see you Tayuya we have a great deal to talk about." Said Orochimaru never taking his eyes off Hiruzen as Tayuya didn't bother to look at him.
Outskirts of Konoha
Naruto looked at a boy with red hair carrying a large gourd on his back.
"Mother want's your blood." The boy said as Naruto just looked on.
"You're more then welcome to try and take it." He said as sand erupted from the gourd rushing toward him. Naruto quickly flipped through hand signs. "Water release: Water Dragon jutsu." He thought as a dragon of water appeared and launched at the boy who quickly dodged it.
"You are very interesting Namikaze Naruto." said the boy as his smile turned deranged while more sand poured from the gourd and began to cover his body.
"Shukaku is starting to take over." Came a voice in Naruto's mind.
"I know that Kurama." Naruto thought. "Going to have to end this before it gets too out of hand." He thought as a blue sphere appeared in his hand. "RASENGAN!" He roared rushing forward and thrusting the sphere into the boy sending him through a couple trees before imbedding him in another tree. He leapt back watching Gaara hold his chest then he held up his blood soaked hand his eyes widening.
"Blood." He said. "My blood...this is... MY BLOOD!." He yelled as his whole body began to shake while his sand started to enveloped him.
"Do it now Ero-sensei!" Yelled Naruto as a man with long spiky white hair appeared wearing a spiked headband dropped from a nearby tree and stuck a seal on Gaara's forehead making the sand stop and the boy pass out.
"We got to work fast that seal won't hold for long." Said Jiraiya as Naruto nodded.
With Hiruzen and Orochimaru
"Tayuya we're in position now's the time." Said Yugao through her transmitter as Tayuya nodded dropping her hands making the barrier drop as Orochimau's eye's widened.
"Tayuya what are you doing!?" Yelled a big guy with a orange Mohawk as Orochimaru turned anger in his eyes as he looked at Tayuya while she removed her skullcap to reveal a Konoha bandana wrapped around her head.
"You traitorous little bitch!" Yelled Orochimaru as Tayuya jumped off the roof while three ANBU unites swarmed the group as he quickly leapt away his three body guards following.
Orochimaru looked out over the fighting going on in the village and found that his allies from Suna had turned against him and were in fact killing the invading Oto shinobi, he watched on as his giant snake summons were taken down by giant toads and the worst part his ace in the hole which was suppose to be Suna's Jinchuriki was no where to be found which in his mind met that the boy was intercepted before he could fully do anything.
"Damn her she told Hiruzen my plans." He growled. "I swear I'll make that girl suffer I'll make her suffer to the point that she'll beg me to kill her but I won't oh no I'm going to make her suffer until her mind breaks and she's nothing more then a vegetable and then I'll let all of Oto use her for there own satisfaction!" Orochimaru seethed before he and his followers vanished while what little of the Oto troops that were left tried to make there escape from the village.
"Hokage-sama the Oto forces are retreating." Said a bear masked ANBU as Hiruzen nodded.
"Very good Bear were Naruto and Jiraiya successful in there mission?" He asked.
"Yes, Suna's Jinchuriki was subdued and they were both able to stabilize and fix the seal that was used on him." Bear replied as Hiruzen nodded.
"Round up any Oto stragglers and tighten up village security until repairs have been made." He said as Bear nodded before vanishing. "I think it's time to find a successor." He muttered to himself before smiling.
Hospital
"Wh...where am I?" Moaned Kushina as she sat up in her bed. "I actually survived Kyuubi's attack?" She asked surprised while placing her hand on the spot where the giant fox's claw had impaled her. "Naruto I must find my baby please Kami let him be alright I don't know if I could go on if I lost him." She thought getting up shakily while pulling the tubes connected to her arm out and started to hobble toward the door as it opened.
"Oh my Lady Kushina you're awake." Said the nurse rushing to her side. "You must return to your bed you haven't recovered from your ordeal yet." She continued as Kushina shoved her away.
"My baby I must find my baby I must make sure Naruto is alright." She said making it to the door only for the nurse to stop her again.
"Lady Kushina please you must return to bed." She said trying to force Kushina back into the room only to find herself being hoisted up by a vise like grip around her throat. She looked down and tried to gasp as Kushina looked at her. Her eye's had turned red with a black ring and a slit pupil inside it.
"I want my baby." She said firmly as the nurse nodded before Kushina set her down.
"I'll inform Naruto-sama and Hokage-sama that you're awake." She said rubbing her throat. "But please understand you need to continue to rest so please get back into your bed." She said as Kushina looked at her narrowing her eyes as they changed back to there normal blue color.
"Fine she muttered." As she went back into her room.
Hokage Tower
"I apologize for the loss of your father and your villages Kage Temari." Said Hiruzen looking at a girl with blond hair tied into four pig tails and wearing a white dress with a battle fan strapped to her back.
"I apologize on behalf of our village for the part we almost played in this invasion attempt by Orochimaru and hope you understand the position we were placed in." She said as Hiruzen nodded.
"I will send word to the wind daimyo that Konoha will not be accepting anymore mission requests from him unless they are a joint mission with your village." He said as Temari nodded.
"I will inform my council." She said standing as Hiruzen also stood before handing her a scroll.
"This is the money that was paid to us for the missions we have taken from you daimyo it should've went to your village instead of us I hope your council will accept it." He said as Temari took it.
"They're greedy so I doubt they'll turn it away." She said as she paused for a moment. "I would also like to make a request for a political marriage." She said catching Hiruzen off guard.
"That is something to be taken up with your council first." He replied as Temari clenched the scroll tighter.
"Please hear me out she's a friend of mine and with my father gone there's no one on the council to protect her." She said as Hiruzen looked at her before lighting his pipe.
"So this is a personal request for a friend." He said as Temari blushed slightly before nodding.
"I'm sure you're aware of the Scorch bloodline in our village." She said as Hiruzen nodded. "Well there is only one person left in our village with this bloodline and the council constantly brings up placing her in the CRA to rebuild the clan, my father would always put an end to these requests because he respects her as she is one of our best kunoichi." Temari said as Hiruzen listened. "I'm afraid with my father gone she will be placed under the CRA so to prevent this I wish for you to consider her for a political marriage as a way of showing there are no hard feelings between our villages and to strengthen our alliance." Temari finished as Hiruzen took the pipe from his mouth letting out a stream of smoke.
"I see I will think about your request what is the name of your friend?" He asked as Temari had a small look of relief on her face.
"Pakura." She said as Hiruzen nodded.
"Discuss this decision with her tonight and I will have an answer for you tomorrow." He said as Temari nodded before leaving as Hiruzen's secretary came in.
"Excuse me Hokage-sama I received a message from the hospital that Lady Kushina has woken up and is looking for Naruto." She said as Hiruzen nodded sighing.
"When it rains it pours." He mutters getting up flaring his chakra as Yugao appeared. "Please bring Naruto to the hospital Kushina has awakened." He said as she nodded vanishing.
Hospital
"I don't want food I want my baby!" Kushina yelled throwing the tray of food out the door at the nurse.
"Please Lady Kushina he's on his way I assure you but you must eat something." Pleaded the nurse.
"Then bring me four bowls of salt ramen from Ichiraku ramen stand!" She continued to yell as the nurse quickly closed the door before sighing.
Twenty minutes later
"Oh thank Kami your here." Said the nurse as Naruto and Hiruzen approached with Tayuya and Cat following behind them.
"How is she?" Hiruzen asked as the nurse sighed.
"Fully awake and very impatient I've had to stop her from leaving several times, all she wants is to see Naruto." She said as Hiruzen nodded looking at Naruto.
"Well go on then Naruto you're the one she wants to see." He said as he nodded putting his hand on the door handle before taking a ragged breath while Tayuya placed a hand on his.
"I'll go with you." She said as he nodded smiling.
"Thanks." He said opening the door then walking in making Kushina look up.
"Naruto?" She asked as he nodded before being tackled to the ground in a hug. "Oh Naruto look how much you've grown." She said standing back up and pulling him to his feet. "You're looking more and more like your father I bet you must have a lot of girls chasing you." She said noticing Tayuya standing in the door. "Oh hello." She said.
"Mom this is Tayuya she's my girlfriend." He said as Kushina also hugged Tayuya which also surprised her.
"I remember telling you to find someone like me but I didn't know you would find someone with red hair like mine to." Said Kushina happily.
"Um nice to meet you." Said Tayua nervously.
"Uh mom I brought my shinobi file with me for you to look through but there are other people here to see you to." Said Naruto handing her his file as Hiruzen walked in followed by Cat.
"Hello Hiruzen decided to take up the mantel again I see." She said looking at him before looking at Cat confused as Hiruzen closed the door before she removed her mask.
"Hello Kushina-sensei." Said Yugao as tears welled up in Kushina's eyes.
"Look at you Yugao all grown up and an ANBU captain I'm so proud of you." Said Kushina hugging Yugao who smiled before hugging her back.
"Yugao here has been the one training Naruto in secret along with Jiraiya before and after Naruto started the academy." Said Hiruzen as Kushina smiled.
"I can see that you've had a couple of good teachers then Naruto." She replied as Naruto nodded as he suddenly felt the room grow cold. "Now then I hope that pervert didn't corrupt my little boy or there will be consequences." She said as everyone shivered at the tone in her voice.
"Anyway Kushina there is a matter I need to discuss with you." Said Hiruzen as she looked at him. "As you know when I first determined my successor I had a choice between you and Minato." He said as she nodded. "As you know Minato just barely squeaked by you." He continued as everyone listened to him. " Right now I need to find a new replacement and I want that person to be you." He finished as Kushina just blinked at him.
"Are you serious?" She asked as Hiruzen nodded.
"You know Konoha's laws just as well as Minato not to mention you attended all the meeting's with him and have even taken over for him on a few occasions." He said as Kushina nodded before closing her eye's in thought. "The council could really use someone like you in the lead I've also let the civilians have a little more power then they should have." He said as Kushina nodded.
"I see so you want me to clean up your mess." She said as Hiruzen sighed before nodding. "Alright then I'll do it." She said smiling as Hiruzen sighed with relief. "The doctors say I should be fine by tomorrow so I should be able to go then." She said as he nodded. "As much as I would like to talk to you and Yugao some more I would really like to talk with Naruto and Tayuya." She said as Hiruzen chuckled and nodded while he and Yugao left. "Now then Naruto I want to hear everything that's happened to you while I've been in my coma." Said Kushina smiling as Naruto gulped before looking down sadly.
"You're not going to like what you hear." He said as she looked at him concerned as he sat down on the bed with her doing the same.
Next morning
Kushina marched up the stairs of the Hokage tower her eyes nearly on fire as she kicked in the doors to Hiruzens office.
"I'm calling an emergency council meeting right now all members need to be here in thirty minutes or there will be consequences." She said as Hiruzen quickly nodded his head.
"Shit's about to hit the fan." Said Naruto as Tayuya smirked.
"Like they say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." She said as Hiruzen paled as his pipe fell from his mouth.
"Kami help me." He prayed
Thirty Minutes Later
The entire council chamber was filled while the Shinobi side were fine with being woken up and asked to come to a meeting this early in the morning the civilians were less then pleased about it. Hiruzen entered without his Hokage robes and took a seat next to the chair that he would normally sit in making the elder council and shinobi council raise an eyebrow.
"Hokage-sama what was so important that it couldn't wait till later this afternoon?" Asked a man with a thick mustache and wearing a business suit.
"First I would like to say that as of last night I named my successor and stepped down as the current Hokage and will now act as her advisor." He said as everyone gasped and began to talk amongst themselves as the door to the chamber opened.
Kushina walked through the doors making everyone breath catch in there throat as she made her way to the Hokage's chair. She wore a red corset top that had mesh on top that fitted over her shoulders and she wore her version of Minato's coat over it with the Hokage's hat sitting firmly in place on her head.
"Hiruzen explain yourself." Said an elderly woman as Hiruzen looked at her.
"I had received information that Kushina was alive and where she was currently being held several weeks ago I sent Jiraiya and two of my most trusted ANBU teams to go bring her back and as you can see they were successful. It was found that she'd been in a coma for the past twelve years since she was my second pick when I was originally choosing a successor I asked her to take over for me." He said as everyone looked at him. "I've also already sent word to the fire daimyo who has supported my picking either Minato or Kushina in the first place." He finished shutting up any protests.
"Now then as the new Hokage I would like to address several issues within this council and lay down the ground rules." Kushina started. "First all military matters and matters dealing with shinobi will be dealt with by the shinobi council and myself with the advice given by the elder council." She said as the civilians began to yell in protest. "SILENCE!" She yelled leaking out killing intent making the civilians shut up. "The civilian council only has say in the matter of trade and commerce for the village and nothing more." She continued. "Also the Elder councils role is to advise the Hokage not make the decisions." She said shooting the three elders a serious look as they nodded understanding. "Now that we have the ground rules set is there any immediate business that needs to be taken care of?" She asked but none said anything. "Well I have some business to address with the civilian council." She said as they all looked at her confused. "It has come to my attention that you have saw fit to over charge or sell poor quality goods to one Namikaze Naruto formally known as Uzumaki Naruto." She said as the shinobi council smirked.
"With all do respect Lady Hokage that little demon should be executed for the crimes it committed twelve years ago." Said an older gentlemen who was wearing an expensive looking suit and had multiple jewel incrusted rings on his fingers. Kushina looked at him before a kunai shot out from the shadows killing the man and making the civilians scream.
"Let me make one thing clear my son is not the Kyuubi and how dare all of you have such little faith in my former husbands sealing abilities especially when one of the seals required him to give his life and was made by the Shinigami itself." She continued as the civilians hung there heads in shame. "Every store that is responsible for this type of treatment will give the highest quality product to him at seventy-five percent off for the next three years to make up for there transgressions." She finished as many of the civilians began cry at the money they were about to loose. "My next order of business is with you Danzo." She said looking at man covered in bandages holding a cane. "As we speak I had Cat mobilize a elite unit of her making to clear out all your NE members and your program is here by disbanded because I will not tolerate a separate shinobi force running around in my village especially one that is only loyal to you and not the Hokage." She said as Danzo clenched his fist.
"I understand Lady Hokage." He said through gritted teeth.
"Now then that is all for now so you're all dismissed." She said standing then leaving followed by Hiruzen.
"I say you laid down the law." He said as Kushina nodded while they entered what was now her office to be met by a waiting Temari and another girl. The girl had a slight muscular build and wore a black backless double slit battle dress with short purple form fitting pants underneath it, a white obi around her waist, and two purple arm warmers that went up to her shoulders, she had green hair that was tied into a bun and held in place by a senbon needle while two long orange bangs framed her face her brown pupiless eyes looking at Kushina as she sat.
"Hello Hokage-sama." Said Temari as Hiruzen smiled.
"I have just one more piece of business to attend to before I give you full control Kushina." He said as she nodded.
"Hokage-sama this is Pakura." Said Temari as the black haired girl stepped forward and bowed to him.
"Well what was the decision you made?" He asked.
"If you'll allow it I would prefer a political marriage over the possibility of the CRA." She said as Kushina's eyes widened.
"I see well after some thought I will accept your offer and I believe Namikaze Naruto would be most suitable for this union." He said as Kushina narrowed her eyes at him.
"I think I should have some say in what kind of arranged marriages my son is placed in." She said as Hiruzen sighed while Temari's eyes widened as she looked at her.
"Temari this is Namikaze Kushina my successor." He said as she bowed to her.
"I think if you are going to force my son into a marriage he should get to know his future wife first." She said as Sarutobi nodded. "I would like to get to know her as well and I'm sure things have to be cleared with Suna's council first." She continued as Sarutobi nodded again. "Well then as we were discussing before the council meeting we'll send Naruto and Jiraiya to bring Tsunade back but I think sending Pakura with them will give the two an excellent chance to get to know one another before anything is finalized." She said as Pakura nodded seeming to relax a little as Kushina smiled. Well then I'll have one of my ANBU go retrieve Naruto and Jiriaya for there mission briefing then you'll be able to get started she said sitting in her chair as she smiled while Pakura did the same.
"Thing's are about to get interesting." Thought Hiruzen leaving the office.

A/N: I hoped you enjoyed this chapter I know I cut the invasion short but then when you have someone tell you the enemies plans the battle can tend to be short. Any way Pakura's marriage as you read will be more of a political arrangement but it doesn't mean that they wont get to know each other very well, and as you can guess Shion won't come into the picture until after the time skip.
