Relmara: Wow I’m utterly floored. When first posted on my sister's account I had in less than 24 hours had 400 hits on chapter 1. Remember reviews are appreciated, and constructive criticism welcome. As I said before when initially writing this I intended a one shot but as I played with the idea it began to evolve. Now I have a tale in my mind beautifully tragic at some points and powerfully emotional.

Kyuubi: So who’s the hunter, brat?

Relmara: Hush impatient fox I’m getting there and you’ll find out along with everyone else.

Kyuubi: *growls* Little vixen do not make me ask again. *suddenly in a special chakra cage.*

Relmara: It’s not smart to mouth off when I control whether or not your have to stay in Naruto’s body for these little chats…

Chapter 2: The Man Who Hunts

‘There exist, in this world, many kinds of ‘hunters’. Hunters of treasure, hunters of glory, hunters of beasts, hunters of men, hunters of women, hunters of relics, hunters of music, hunters of fine food, hunters of love, hunters of oddities, but the most dangerous of all hunters seek much more alarming prey. The hunters of Demons. These hunters seek beasts of great power in order to steal their power and use it for any number of ends, most begin this quest out desperation and either fail or become addicted to the hunt. The rush that comes from ending a creature so powerful and feared. Many of these offer their services reaping many various reward, from money and property, to fine sake and equally fine women, some even going so far as to hold a whole village responsible for a price. These men are the most dangerous of men, and some make the chore of hunting demon beasts a family event. Take caution when entering a contract, had a price named before the hunter begins lest he rob you of all you hold dear as price for his service.’

- On the Hunters Of Demons, a warning to those seeking employment of demon hunters.

The village was dark as Shibuki and a number of other villagers robbed of family and friends slipped away to the rest stop for weary travelers a few miles down the road. The small shack was inhabited and Shibuki worried that someone had told the elder and he’s gone ahead to apprehend them. Carefully he peered in to find a dark cloaked man sitting in the shack against a wall an enormous fan across his back in his palms he held a fire burning bright before he set the kindling in the center of the shack ablaze.

"Fools. I heard you a mile off. Enter and we shall discuss your little… demon problem." the man snapped causing the villagers to flinch before each entered each sitting near the fire as the frozen wind nipped at the ill prepared villagers.

"Thank you for your prompt response Uchiha-sama." Shibuki said with a bow

"I take it you are Shibuki, the one who contacted me." the man smirked despite himself at the cowardly looking man.

"I am. Please for a long time our village has been in the tradition of sacrificing it’s youth to the Demon Fox Lord K-"

"Speak not, the beasts name, if he looms near his name shall draw attention and the contract between us will be void" the man warned.

"Oh! I… I was unaware. Forgive me. But the beast demands our women as brides and in turn he grants select men great strength and the ability to change shape. Not but days ago another girl was offered up on the day of her eighteenth birthday, to be the beasts latest bride. I followed to attempt rescue but what I witnessed terrified me beyond all. I saw a man of brilliant red seducing her and I was so startled I could not help but look on in horror as he became a giant fox and forced himself upon her. When he was finished I finally regained my senses and moved to try to rescue her but before I could even move he was next to me in human form saying that she now belonged to him." Shibuki recounted shaking in shame and fear

"I see…. So this beast takes women from the village and molests them." the dark haired demon hunter said his eyes still shadowed by his cloak

"Yes please so many of us have lost daughters, sisters, and friends to this beast…" Shibuki said pleadingly

"And which have you lost Shibuki-san?" the man asked raising ruby colored eyes to meet the other man’s gaze.

"My half-sister… my only family that I have left… Please… slay this demon and free the captive women. We beg you, we’ll give you whatever you wish Uchiha-sama" the brown haired man said.

"I see… well in that case… I’ll will defeat your demon and free your women. But… I will take my payment after the job is done… and I will select what I believe to be a suitable price at that time."

"But surely there is something we could offer no.." one villager began

"I take my price in accordance with the length of the job and the difficulty of the demon." The Uchiha said rising. "Lead me to this place where your sister was violated"

Shibuki nodded and dismissed the other villagers. He lead the man out of the shack through the forest heavily impregnated with thick white snow almost a cruel reminder of the beast to the young 24 year old. It was difficult to navigate by the low hanging moon, a curious appearance upon it growing darker with every passing moment. "Even the moon turns it’s back on us…. An ill omen for certain" Shibuki said.

"It’s an eclipse… quite the opposite Shibuki-san. It hides it’s face to say that it shall take no knowledge of my descent into the beast’s realm. This missive will take time. I will have to garner the demon’s faith to find the women and then to defeat him will take time and then we must wait for the moon to darken again before I can remove them. Ideally I will slay the beast on night of new moon and lead the women through then to avoid any possible curses he may have lain upon them." the Uchiha said the dimming moonlight upon the snow just bright enough to illuminate his alarmingly young face.

"May I ask how old you are?" the brunette quiried concerned for the man’s safety and capability.

"I turned 27 this past December 24th" the man said.

"Your not much older than I!" Shibuki said being only 24 himself.

"Return… I can sense the beast’s portal to the demon realm. I’ll continue from here alone.." the man instructed, harshly removing the cloak he wore. Taking hold of the magnificent fan he swung it with tremendous force stirring, lightly settled snow. "Lords whom I have vanquished, obey my commands and open for me the passage to your brethren’s realm. He has taken my kind there and does foul things to them. I seek to vanquish this one who defiles the purity of young women and to return them safely to the realm of their birth. Open the gates of the demon’s world unto me!" the man said his eyes raised to the moon.

A great rumbling came as a great beast appeared. "Madara… you trouble me again?" The creature said, her hissing voice resonating deeply within Madara’s chest.

"Nekohime, we are in the lands of the demon fox. He’s mating young human women and needs to be stopped." he said as rage grew in the feline who’d made contract with him.

"That fool he cares not for human life, he wants to make the women bare his precious kits since the slaying of his mate many hundreds of years ago." Nekohime said

"He’s been bereft of his kin so he fills the emptiness with humans?" Madara asked in surprise.

"Yes… and by the smell of it he’s made a grave error."

"How so?" the Uchiha asked.

"He’s taken one blessed by another demon. She must have been blessed even before the fox knew of her conception." the feline said as Madara mounted her back. "He’s lucky Leviathan hasn’t heard of his transgression, then again she prefers to stay where it’s warm."

"Perhaps the mother was visiting distant family." he replied.

"Likely so." the great black and flame orange feline said in turn, carrying him through to the world of demons they saw the last events that had involved the fox in this place.

Young maiden of silver tresses eagerly pleasing the beast in disguise before he took her. The sight sickened the man nearly a decade older than the beautiful girl, but for an inexplicable reason he couldn’t draw his eyes away from the girl. She was too lovely to be wasted as a mate for the perverse beast. Finally he tore his eyes away in disgust as the fox announced his completion over the unconsious female.

"The girl was near lifeless and yet he refused to release her? She could have died of shock… what a foul loathsome beast." Madara hissed

"It was something she was obviously trained for." the cat said as they exited the passage between worlds and found themselves in a garden of beauty beyond comprehension. "I’ll attack you and leave you for the fox to find, enemy of a cat is a friend to fox." she said before tearing the Uchiha's flesh, relishing the feeling of his skin ripping under the careful claws. Nothing fatal but bad enough to look it. The cries of the great fox rang out and she sped away as not to be caught, leaving her master bloody and in terrible, terrible pain.

The fox was on him in moments sniffing at and inspecting the man. The amount of blood was alarming as he licked the frail looking human, both cleaning and healing him with his saliva. His young wife rushed to his side with a bit of a hobble dressed now in a lavish red kimono, matching the fox’s fur. "Kyuubi-sama! What has happened?!" the woman cried in shock seeing the wounded Madara.

"I found this human gravely wounded by a vicious cat. He must have angered someone of great power because they shifted to our realm while attacking." the fox said appraising the man. He was strong, he’d make a good toy for his older mates that still lived with him. Perhaps even a servant to his beautiful new mate.

Kei’s hand rose to her mouth as she moved from her husband fox’s side and knelt near the wounded one. "Kyuubi-sama, will he live?" she asked looking terribly worried and the fox chuckled. Still a child in so many ways and yet with the concern a mother would have for her kits, her children.

"Yes, Kei-koi. He will live." the fox enjoyed the look of relief that spread across the silverette’s face. "Since I have healed him and saved his life… he is indebted to me. Shall we make him your servant? I have many duties to which I must attend and I think he will make a good companion and servant to you while I am absent."

"I… I suppose so. I… I’ve never had a servant… I was always told to serve you." she blushed crimson as her husband took human form.

"Your such a good girl Kei, he will be weak a while first. Why don’t you tend to him until he is fully healed." the fox man said before kissing the girl. Caring for the man would give her something to distract her in his realm she’d already been with him for two weeks and she was while obedient to a fault she was utterly restless always exploring, always into something, rather reminding him of a when he was a kit himself. Smirking he summoned servants to take the wounded human to a room and finish cleaning him.

Afterwards he turned back to his pretty young wife and found her gazing out over the pond in his garden, which he‘d changed to look like it was spring. He pulled her into his lap, grinning to himself as she squealed in embarrassment, his hands slid in to the fold of the brilliant orange red kimono embroidered with kitsune playing joyously among leave of crimson and gold. His hands found what he sought, and stroked her vaginal opening gently causing the woman to squirm in pleasure.

"Kei-chan…" he said in his deep and seductive voice and felt her shudder against him. Carefully he slipped a clawed digit inside her playing with her opening, tracing his wife’s core with the single finger. She arched trying not to cry out as a second finger joined it’s brother inside her. Leaning forward slightly she braced herself on his legs whimpering as he lightly pinched her clitoris with his strong fingers.

"K-Kyuubi-s-sama!" came the cry moments later as she released for him, his fingers coated in her sticky essence. The fox shifted to his true form and aligned with the silver eyed rectum. When he moved this time it was slow and deliberate, to make love to the kind hearted human below. Pleasured outcries met his ears as he increased his speed. A bit to his astonishment she moved with him, impaling herself on his bestial shaft. The woman made a half choked sound before screaming in pleasure as the fox and she released together.

The dark haired man awoke to the sound of quiet clattering as a person moved near him. Onyx eyes opened slowly catching sight of the silver haired girl from the lingering vision. She was dampening a cloth to wipe his face and to cool his head. Her hands froze in mid labor as she realize his eyes were open. "Your finally awake… I was worried.. You’ve been asleep three days."

‘Three days?!’ Madara snarled in his mind ‘I swear I’ll kill that cat for this…’ he thought trying to sit up.

"No, no! You’ll reopen your wounds. Kyuubi-sama could only heal so much. He would like for you to become my servant when you are well enough… Would you consider that? I have been terribly lonely when he’s had to leave me. And his other wives don’t seem to be fond of me…" she trailed off. "Oh forgive me… I must sound so silly asking that of you when we’ve only just met."

Madara took her hand gently and kissed it "I would be honored, dear lady." he half lied. While he wouldn’t mind serving the woman to gather information, he felt badly for her, being that demon’s consort and then being outcast from the beasts collection of jealous whores. "You are the one who’s nursed me back from the hands of death. How could I refuse you?" he asked before introducing himself "I am Uchiha Madara. Please, my lady only refer to me as Madara" he said

"I’m Kei. Mitsurei Kei" she smiled happily blushing as made himself known to her.

"Kei-hime." the man said causing Kei to flush pure scarlet.

"P-Please, Madara-san. I’m hardly a princess of anything. There is no need to address me like that." Kei squeaked out of shyness.

"I wish to call you that. For you are more beautiful that any other princess I have ever seen." the man flirted, trying to gain the wife’s confidence, which he was doing with ease. A moment passed before the naïve young woman rose.

"You must be starving. I’ll return shortly with something for us to eat." she said leaving the man to his thoughts and plans.

Relmara: Wow that was all written in one go. I can hardly believe that. lol

Kyuubi: YOU MADE HIM THE HUNTER?!?!?!?!

Relmara: Well yeah… I had a few options but it was something I thought to be interesting.

Madara: Do you realize your making your dear OC out to be a Mary Sue?

Relmara: No I’m not. I’m just making her a bit more naïve in this. I haven’t shown much of her personality yet and the fact that this is much different and much newer story than I have done previously and it makes it much more difficult to sound completely non-MS. It is necessary at this point to sound a little MS if it sounds it at all. Does it readers? I do try to avoid MS as much as possible you know. Anyway that all we have time for today. Later!

"You never wanted to be his bride did you?" Madara asked petting the young woman’s head lightly as she wept.

"No… I was raised since I was 13 to be his bride… My brother… he… he just let them take me away… I begged him for help… he refused till the day that I was to marry Kyuubi-sama" she sobbed doubled over with great claw marks down her back from the fox’s over excitement.

Madara pulled the girl, nine years his younger, into his arms to comfort her.

"Shhh Shhh Kei-hime… I’ll find a way to help you… I swear it." he said inwardly smirking as he had already promised her brother that. ‘Shibuki, you didn’t tell me that you’d neglected her so badly… poor girl…’ he thought as he cradled the girl gently before tending her back
