With clans like theirs, where yang chakra is used more, the balance is likely to slightly lower the chances of a female being born as some would be infused with slightly more masculine chakra and become futanari. On the other hand, clans like the Yamanaka, whose jutsu are yin based, it is the opposite and a zygote that could be male is altered to a futanari."
