Chapter two!!!!! It’s really, really long, longer than I
wanted and the ending is horrible but read it and hopefully have fun going so.
***
Naruto groaned as he slowly woke up on a hard floor,
wondering why he wasn’t in his bed, and blinked a few times to try and clear
the last piece of sleep from his mind but then freaked out when he realised
that he couldn’t see a damn thing.
Worrying that he could have somehow managed to go blind in his
sleep and how that could have even happened in the first place, Naruto’s hand
flew to his eyes only to relax once he felt the silky material there and
memories came to I'm through his still foggy mind.
Pulling the tie off of his eyes Naruto sat up and looked
around the still dimly lit elevator, hoping that the reason he had woken up was
because someone had come to rescue him, not simply because his body had, had
enough of sleeping.
Looking over to where he had left Sasuke the blonde couldn’t
help the smile that split his face at the sight that greeted him. Sasuke was lying
on his stomach with his head resting on his briefcase and files that he had
been most likely half way through were now crushed beneath his cheek, a small
puddle of drool beginning to smudge the words.
From the looks of it Sasuke had decided to follow Naruto’s
example and try and catch some shut eye, whether he had really wanted to or
not. Most likely not from the way he looked with his glasses hanging
haphazardly off his face and his precious work now a little worse for wear
rather than packed away neatly.
With a smile still on his face Naruto felt around for his
phone for a moment to check the time before remembering that he had forgotten
it. The blonde frowned; being trapped in this elevator was really starting to
mess with his head if he had just started to look for something that he forgot
he had forgotten.
Biting his lip Naruto looked across to Sasuke and the watch
on his pale wrist, wondering if he could somehow manage to check the time
without waking the raven up or perhaps wake him up without Sasuke realising
that it was him that woke him up.
Crawling across the floor as silently as he could Naruto
leaned over the sleeping raven, watching intently for any signs that he might
be about to wake up before gently taking his wrist and turning the watch so he
could see the time.
The blonde groaned as he looked at the time. They had been
stuck in the elevator since about six thirty in the evening and it was now only
four in the morning the next day. They had been trapped for about eight hours
and for most of that they had been asleep. Now they had god knew how many hours
to waste doing nothing.
Naruto sighed unhappily and went to put Sasuke's hand down
but as he did the ravens eyes snapped open and the pale limb wrenched from the
blondes grip and flew through the air, punching him in the face.
Naruto fell back, landing hard on his back and clutching his
now bleeding nose. The blonde looked at Sasuke with watery eyes, about to give
the raven what for but frowned through his pain when he saw that the other man
had simply rolled over and gone back to sleep. Maybe he hadn’t even woken up
after all.
Naruto sat up and glared at the raven, blood pouring out of
his nose and down his face, staining his too expensive to be getting blood on
shirt. Sasuke had woken up; Naruto had seen his eyes open so the bastard had
punched him in the face just for the hell of it, not because he was having a
dream or something like that which the blonde could have excused and forgiven him
for.
Naruto reached out and shook Sasuke's shoulder with his hand
that wasn’t covered with blood, “damn it you jerk wake up.”
Sasuke groaned as he rolled onto his back, bringing up his hands
to rub at his eyes, “what is it, are we being rescued?”
“No you bastard,” Naruto punched Sasuke's arm to try and
wake him up faster so he could yell at him properly. He wasn’t getting any
satisfaction yelling at someone who was barely lucid.
Sasuke cracked open an eyelid and glared at the blonde, “why
are you waking me up if we aren’t being rescued,” opening his other eye Sasuke
took a good look at the blonde as the haze of sleep faded from his mind, “and
why the hell are you bleeding.”
“Because you punched me in the face when I tried to wake you
up damn it,” Naruto glared at Sasuke one last time before getting up and stalking
over to his bag, pulling out a towel and another bottle of water so he could
clean his face.
Sasuke sat up, still rubbing at his eyes, “sorry I punched
you but if it makes you feel any better you’re not the only one I’ve done it
to,” Sasuke paused and yawned, wishing that he could so back to sleep, “I used
to do it to my older brother a lot when we were little and he still says waking
me up is life threatening. It’s an after effect from having really bad
nightmares as a child where I dreamt that my brother killed my entire family
night after night for two years, or so said the professional my parents sent me
to.”
Naruto huffed as he tried to open his water bottle and wet
the towel, all the while trying to keep is head tilted back with a hand over
his nose. He wasn’t good at multitasking at the best of times but now with his
nose gushing blood, his eyes watering and one hell of a headache blossoming in
his skull from where it had hit the floor Naruto was struggling even more.
He had to admit that Sasuke's story sort of radiated with
him, he used to dream about his deceased parents all the time when he was younger
and knew how stressful it could be but to carry the effects from childhood to
adulthood was truly saddening. Still he wouldn’t admit to the raven that he
felt like forgiving him after hearing that story.
Sasuke sighed as the blonde continued to struggle but said
nothing to him in return. He had wanted the blonde to forgive him, it would
make this whole situation worse if he was stuck with someone who was angry at
him the whole time and in such a little room the tension would be sure to mount
before something, most likely of a violent nature, broke it.
With no way to call for help and not knowing when someone
was coming to rescue them they couldn’t afford to get into a fight where either
of them could become seriously injured. Sasuke got up and moved over to where Naruto
was struggling and took the water bottle from him, ignoring the others growl as
he opened the lid and held his hand out for the towel.
With a dramatic sigh Naruto handed over the fluffy orange
towel as if it was the hardest thing he had ever had to do in his life and in a
way it was. Sasuke may be his boss but Naruto thought he was a total jerk even
if he wasn’t as mean as the blonde had thought he would be. Naruto hated to
have Sasuke do this for him because the raven seemed like the kind of person
that would never let him live it down.
Naruto hated people like that, why do something for someone,
why help them out when they need it if you’re just going to rub in the fact
that they needed help at a later date. Why help someone just to use it against
them and to put them down?
Naruto continued to glare at Sasuke as he thought about the raven’s
personality. He was a big believer in not judging a book by its cover and
ignoring first impressions but he just couldn’t seem to give Sasuke the benefit
of the doubt. It kind of annoyed him that he was being so shallow minded but at
the same time Naruto was satisfied with his irrational dislike for the raven,
it made ignoring the fact that he was as ridiculously attractive, as all the girls
in the office had told him he was, so much easier.
So now, being trapped in a small room with a guy who was
perfectly his type with nothing to do, Naruto was willing to let go of his morals
for a moment if that helped him stay away from a line that should never be
crossed with one’s boss, no matter what the circumstances.
Still maybe Sasuke wouldn’t mind a little fun, what happens
in the broken down elevator stays in the broken down elevator right? They could
call it a last hurrah before they plummeted several floors to their death and
thinking back Naruto could have sworn he remembered seeing an article about Sasuke
in some stupid girly magazine where he had said he didn’t have a set sexuality.
He remembered it because, at the time, it had been a massive
scandal and the company had lost a lot of clients. What had saved it from
becoming a complete disaster though was the fact that Sasuke had stuck by what
he said, even going so far to kiss his boyfriend at the time in public.
People high up with a similar secret had then come out of
the woodwork, each of them lending their support to the raven and the way of
life he had chosen. His father Fugaku had then cut all ties with any and all of
his clients who had any problem with the way his youngest son chose to direct
himself and without the backing of the great Uchiha’s many of them had gone
bankrupt and those that hadn’t had some crawling back on their hands and knees.
Naruto couldn’t help the perverted little smile that lit his
features. The thought of him and Sasuke passing the time with a few carnal
pleasures had promise and if they didn’t get out of the elevator soon Naruto
thought that he might just entertain the idea a little more, if only to keep
his mind occupied for a little while.
Naruto blinked as he felt Sasuke reach up and touch his face
and saw that the raven had moved up to his knees so he was just tall enough to
look the blonde in the eyes since he still had his head tilted toward the roof,
“w-what are you doing?”
Sasuke smirked at the way the blonde’s voice sounded; it was
like he had the worst cold in the universe. Without saying a word to answers
the blondes question Sasuke used his hand that was holding the now damp towel
to nudge the blondes hand away from his nose so he could clean up the blonde
and check the damage he had done.
Sasuke frowned as he began his gentle cleaning, stopping
every now and again to find a clean spot on the towel and add more water when
it was needed. Naruto’s eyes were already slightly black looking and the blonde
winced every time he passed the cloth over his tanned skin even though he kept
quiet and didn’t complain.
Sasuke felt bad, he knew he couldn’t control himself when he
slept but that didn’t stop the guilt from growing in his chest, “I'm sorry
Naruto, I really didn’t mean to hurt you. I really wish I didn’t have these
twitches.”
Naruto snorted but immediately regrated it when his nose
crinkled as a result and caused him more pain then he was already in,
“twitches? That’s one hell of a twitch.”
Naruto thought he was funny but when Sasuke said nothing he realised
that the Uchiha really was trying to say sorry and that he did feel bad. Naruto
reached up and stopped Sasuke's movements, gently taking the now soaked towel
from the ravens pale hands and lowered his head, glad that the blood had stop
flowing.
Naruto watched as Sasuke sat back and gave him a smile that
he hoped was reassuring despite the fact that he felt like grimacing, “it’s
alright Sasuke; I know what it’s like to be a heavy sleeper and react badly
when someone wakes me up. Nothing as violent as you though. I also know what
it’s like to have horrible nightmares.”
Sasuke nodded before reaching over and taking the cloth from
Naruto again and cleaning up the last of the blood. When he was done Sasuke
threw the now useless towel in the corner and went back to his work, packing it
away and trying not to grumble too much at the large drool patch that had
soaked through at least ten sheets of paper.
While Sasuke had his back to him putting away his things
Naruto took the opportunity to dig through his bag and pull out the shirt he
had been planning or wearing to the gym. Ripping off his soiled shirt as
quickly as he could Naruto threw on his other shirt, wanting to get dressed
before Sasuke turned around and saw him.
“You’ve put it on inside out.”
Naruto pulled his head free of the thin black fabric to find
Sasuke staring straight at him. Naruto couldn’t help the light blush that
dusted his cheeks as those impossibly dark eyes observed him and a smirk turned
the corners of his mouth upward in the most sinful of ways.
The blonde shook his head as he looked at Sasuke, trying to
clear his thoughts and remove his mind from the gutter that it was so readily
throwing itself into. Looking down at his shirt Naruto saw that the Uchiha was
indeed right but only halfway because not only was it inside out but it was
also backwards.
Naruto hastily grabbed the hem of his shirt, readying to
pull it off to put in on properly but stopped when he saw Sasuke hadn’t moved
to look away, “do you mind?”
Sasuke chuckled as he leaned back against the wall and got comfortable,
“no not at all.”
Naruto glared at Sasuke, hoping he could convince the Uchiha
to look away with his anger but when Sasuke only yawned and grabbed the bottle
of water Naruto had given him before they went to sleep before.
Naruto pouted and let go of his shirt, crossing his arms
over his chest as he to leant against the wall, “you know the least you could
do after punching me in the face is give me so privacy so I can change my
bloody shirt.”
“I did give you privacy,” Sasuke counted matter-of-factly as
he to crossed his arm, mirroring the blonde across from him, “it’s not my fault
that you’re an idiot and don’t know how to dress yourself properly.”
“Bastard,” Naruto growled and shifted uncomfortably. He
didn’t so much mind the fact that his shirt was on inside out but in was really
annoying to have it on backwards. It just felt wrong and he didn’t know how he
hadn’t realised he was putting it on backwards to start off with.
Suddenly Naruto had an epiphany and quickly pulled his bag
into his lap, searching around while he spoke to the raven, “I’ll tell you
what, if you turn around for a minute so I can fix my shirt I will give you,”
Naruto paused for dramatic effect before pulling out his bargaining chip, “this
BLT sandwich with extra tomato. I know it’s your favourite.”
Sasuke started at the mouth watering sandwich, his eyes
following it back and forth like a dog as Naruto waved his around, trying to
tempt him. Would he really give up the chance to see the blonde topless just
for a sandwich?
Sasuke contemplated that. He could have the sandwich or he
could refuse and get a better look at the expanse of tanned skin and muscles
that Naruto had hidden beneath his clothes that he had been lucky enough to
glimpse for a second or two when Naruto had changed before.
Just as Sasuke was about to give up the delicious looking sandwich
in order to see more of Naruto’s equally delicious looking chest his stomach
gave a loud rumble of compliant, causing him to change his mind at the last
minute, “give me the damn sandwich.”
Naruto shook his head as Sasuke reached out for the
sandwich, clucking his tongue disapprovingly, “nah ah privacy first, sandwich
after.”
“Hn,” it wasn’t an affirmation or even a word but Naruto
knew he had won when the Uchiha turned around and faced the wall so that he could
fix his clothes in private.
Deciding that he wasn’t going to give Sasuke the chance to
peek the blonde quickly took his shirt off and fixed as fast as he possibly
could it before putting it on again, double checking that it was going on the
right way first. Naruto sighed happily, finally feeling comfortable before
realising that Sasuke was still facing the wall, not realising that he was done
changing.
Naruto smiled evilly, deciding to take this chance to get
the uptight Uchiha back for making him feel like a shy teenage girl by asking
for his privacy. Picking up the sandwich and being careful not to make its
plastic wrapping make too much noise Naruto threw it at the back of the Uchiha’s
head just hard enough to hurt but not hard enough to damage the food, not
wanting Sasuke to get up him for hurting his precious sandwich.
Sasuke growled as he turned around but didn’t say anything
else, not wanting to give Naruto the pleasure. Snatching up the sandwich the raven
tore into it with barely concealed glee, delighting in the taste of crisp, if slightly
warm, tomatoes against his tongue.
Sasuke swallowed his food and groaned happily, watching as
Naruto fished some ridiculous looking freeze dried protein bar, that was
apparently guaranteed to help add muscle mass, out of his bag.
The Uchiha scoffed as Naruto devoured half the bar in one
bite. In his opinion the blonde didn’t need any more musculature, it was quite
clear to see, even through the fabric of his business shirt, that Naruto was
clearly already quite well off in the area.
“How did you know that tomatoes are my favourite food?” Sasuke
questioned offhandedly, for once not enjoying the silence that seemed far too
thick for even his liking in the tiny space.
Naruto didn’t answer at first but Sasuke watched him chew faster
and was surprised to see that the other man had some manners and wasn’t going
to talk with his mouthful, “I'm Karin’s assistant remember? I do all the stuff
that she doesn’t want to do which means I'm generally in charge of going out
and getting your lunch most days. And you know what, you can tell a lot about
people from the food they eat.”
“Is that so?” Sasuke knew the blonde was going to start
rambling soon and that would fill the silence so the raven encouraged him.
“Well take you for example. I know that you won’t eat
anything unless it’s fresh and doesn’t have too many chemicals or anything in
it so you must be at least a little body conscious since you care about what you’re
putting into it. You always have a big lunch which I’m guessing means you skip
breakfast in the morning and after seeing you wake up it’s probably because you
oversleep or throw your alarm clock at a wall or whatever. Since you oversleep
you don’t have time for breakfast if you want to get to work on time which you
do because you’re a workaholic. Also since you have a big lunch you probably have
a late dinner that’s just as big as your lunch so it lasts you till lunch the
next day.”
“You don’t like sweet things since you never get anything
sweet to have after your lunch and you never take sugar in your coffee or tea.
You don’t like anything to fancy when it comes to flavours and you don’t care
where your lunch comes from either. It could be from a five star restaurant or
a subway, as long as it made the way you like it.”
Sasuke gawked at Naruto once he finally finished talking,
mouth paused in mid chew in awe over the sheer volume of information the blonde
knew about his eating habits and likes and dislikes. Even the things that the
blonde couldn’t possible know like his dinner and breakfast habits were
absolutely correct.
It was a little creepy but then Sasuke remembered that he had
been the one to ask so this was really all his fault, “well aren’t you just a
fountain of information,” Sasuke said once he managed to swallow his food,
“Guess you think you know everything about me then hey?”
Naruto scratched the back of his head sheepishly, “hehe not
really, only about food. I was going to be a chef when I finished university
but I didn’t have enough money at the time to support myself through the apprenticeship
so I used my degree to get a job here. Food is still my hobby though”
Sasuke hummed his understanding then went back to finishing
his sandwich while Naruto downed another protein bar. Tossing his rubbish into
the corner with the towel and Naruto’s shirt Sasuke turned his attention back
to Naruto who was now sitting back and rubbing his stomach as if he had just
eaten a three course meal.
“Since you know so much about me what about you,” Sasuke
asked the blonde, “why the protein bars, you clearly don’t need them.”
Naruto blushed faintly at Sasuke's vague compliment on his
body. Naruto knew that he was attractive, there was never a shortage of people
to tell him how nice he was to look at but no matter how many times he was complimented
the blonde always blushed and didn’t know what to say in return.
“Uh it’s just maintenance I guess,” Naruto answered, glad
that he didn’t stutter because then he would have blushed even more, “I tend to
eat crap most of the time since I don’t have time to cook proper meals anymore
so a protein bar now and then to replace my normal ramen or other junk helps
keep me in shape.”
“Why not just eat healthier, swap junk for like carrot
sticks or something?” Sasuke suggested, “Then you wouldn’t have to stomach
those things.”
Naruto shrugged, “they’re not all bad, I’ve found some
pretty good flavours here and there, even some that are made out of all natural
ingredients. Besides if I ate healthier then I’d have to give up ramen and I couldn’t
do that in a million years. I'm a ramenaholic.”
“Ramenaholic?”
“Yeah,” Naruto beamed, “like a chocaholic only I'm addicted
to ramen, not chocolate,” Naruto shifted around uncomfortably and tried to keep
a smile on his face.
He had a problem, one that had been growing in urgency ever since
he had woken and it got worse still when he didn’t have something to keep his
mind occupied, like their conversation which had just ended.
Desperate for something, for anything to distract himself with Naruto said the first thing that
came to mind, “so that work you were dong before. Need any help?”
Sasuke raised a perfectly manicured eyebrow, “for someone
who seemed so shocked that I was working on Christmas Eve you sure seem keen
now. Strange what with it being Christmas and all today.”
“Oh wow I totally forgot,” Naruto laughed happily, “Merry
Christmas Mr. Uchiha.”
Sasuke couldn’t help the small smile that graced his
features. He hadn’t been expecting to have anyone say that to him today apart
from his parents and bothers whose voices were made heart wrenchingly hollow by
the phone line, “Merry Christmas Naruto. As my gift to you I’ll definitely make
sure you get overtime for this, and then some.”
“Alright,” Naruto resisted the urge to fist pump, just
barely.
Sasuke simply grunted as he got up and went to sit next to
the blonde, bringing his briefcase full of work with him, “I should have
something for you to do in here somewhere,” Sasuke mumbled as he sorted through
the papers before pulling out a stack of sheets and a spare pen, “okay I'm
going to get you to proof read this, it’s a draft of a speech I have to give to
the board of directors in three weeks. It’s long winded and very boring but I
want it flawless, no slacking off and missing things if you get bored. Got it?”
Naruto took the offered pen and papers with determination,
he really wanted to do a good job, “got it.”
Naruto got to work and Sasuke put his glasses on before
getting to his own work, trying to remember where he had been up to before he
had fallen asleep. Finding his place Sasuke began to work, glancing across at
Naruto now and then to make sure that he wasn’t having and problems.
At first everything seemed okay with the blonde, he was
diligently working through the speech and fixing any problems he found but as he
got toward the end he began to fidget and shift about, his face set in and almost
painful looking mask of concentration.
“Naruto what’s wrong with you,” Sasuke asked, finally fed up
with Naruto’s constant distracting movements.
Naruto bit his lip and a blush dusted his nose and cheeks,
“I…well I need- “
“Spit it out Uzumaki.”
Naruto’s face went as red as a lobster, “I need to go to the
bathroom.”
“Okay yeah that’s a problem,” Sasuke mumbled, his brain
already working at a hundred miles an hour trying to think of what to do, “Do
you think you can hold it?”
“I can’t, I’ve been holding it since I woke up,” Naruto was
nearly bopping up and down now, “I don’t have the bladder to deal with this, I
really need to go.”
“Right, okay,” Sasuke looked around their confines quickly,
desperate to find something that could aid the blonde. He really didn’t want
Naruto relieving himself in a corner or something, that would stink out the
whole place for ages.
During his frantic search Sasuke's eyes fell on his half
empty water bottle and he grimaced, an idea popping into his head. It wasn’t
the best idea he had ever had, hell it was downright terrible, but it was the
only one that was remotely plausible in their current situation.
Getting up Sasuke went and got his water bottle of water before
grabbing Naruto’s own and transferring all the water into one and handing the
empty one to Naruto, “here, use this.”
Naruto stared at the empty bottle before he shrieked, “Are
you serious?”
“What else do you want me to do?” Sasuke asked
incredulously, “have you forgotten we’re trapped, this is the best we have.”
“Well…I…no I haven’t forgotten,” Naruto face palmed, “this
is just so embarrassing.”
“Well just go and stand in the corner and pretend you’re in
the bathroom,” Sasuke demanded, “you can’t afford to have your bladder rupture
while we’re in here.”
Naruto nodded meekly, understanding where Sasuke was coming
from and went over to one of the corners to do his business. Before he started
though he glanced over his shoulder at the still watching Uchiha and gave him
his best glare.
Sasuke rolled his eyes and the look Naruto gave him but
turned around and faced the wall as he had silently requested. He had been
hoping the blonde would have been too thrilled to be finally relieving himself
that he wouldn’t notice someone watching him and taking in what was sure to be
a delectable view of his tanned backside.
The Uchiha crinkled his noise as his mind was pulled out of
the gutter it had been straying to by a trickling sound and an unmistakeable
acrid smell. Sasuke hated public urinals more than anything and this right now
was his idea of a nightmare and it killed any thoughts he had been having about
the blonde in compromising situations.
“I have more respect for Karin now,” Naruto said as he
continued to pee, “she does proof reading for you all the time and never
complains about it. If I had to read things like that all the time I’d die of
boredom.”
Sasuke scoffed, “you should try saying them. I can barely
keep my eyes open when I deliver them to the board.”
Naruto laughed, “You know something Sasuke, you’re really
not as stuck up as I always thought you would be.”
Sasuke couldn’t’ help but smile a little. He liked it when people
managed to see through the cold profession mask he wore all the time to see the
real him. People like that came few and far between so when they came Sasuke
couldn’t help but bask in their company, “thanks idiot but hurry up and finish
alright. Why are you even wasting time talking, I thought you were embarrassed.”
“Cause that’s what guys do in the can,” Naruto said as he
fixed himself up and went to work making sure that the bottle was secured as
tightly as he could make it, “or are you more of a stall man?”
“I wouldn’t know, I don’t use public bathrooms,” Sasuke
said, turning when Naruto tapped his shoulder to let him know he was done,
“their disgusting and unsanitary.”
“Yeah forget what I said about you not being stuck up,”
Naruto laughed when Sasuke punched him in the arm when he sat down, “maybe the
real reason you don’t like public restrooms is because you don’t think you have
what it takes downstairs to feel comfortable using them. You don’t have the
confidence.”
“Believe me Naruto; I have no problem when it comes to
confidence in that department,” Sasuke smirked and leaned closer to the blonde,
“and what would you know about having what it takes down there anyway?”
Naruto blanched and pushed Sasuke away from him as hard as
he could, “you pervert, I can believe you peeked!”
“It was a joke idiot,” Sasuke said as he picked himself up
off the floor, “though I have to admit that I was tempted to look for real.”
“w-what?”
“You heard me idiot,” Sasuke said, “now get back to work.”
Naruto sat there in silence for a few moments, just watching
as Sasuke went back to work as if they hadn’t just been discussing the state of
their manhood, as if everything was normal. Naruto sighed and picked up his
papers so he could finish his work. He only had a page and a half to go and he
wanted to get it over and done with before his brain shut down from overexposure
to boredom.
After a while though Naruto got bored with the silence that
working had created. He wanted to continue the playful banter that had been
present before, he wanted to see where it could lead them and decided to dive
right in. Nothing ventured nothing gained right? “You know bastard, if you
wanted to see my arse all you had to do was ask.”
Sasuke chuckled but there wasn’t any mirth behind it, it was
more condescending than anything, “nice joke Uzumaki.”
Naruto put aside his papers and got to his knees, putting
his face inches from the ravens, “who said that I was joking. I’ve read all
about you preferences in almost every magazine there is so you can’t tell me you’re
not at least a little bit interested. I'm exactly your type”
“Even if you were, and I'm not saying you’re not, you are my
employee,” Sasuke tried to rationalise but Naruto reached up and took his
glasses off, ignoring the raven’s attempts to put a little space between them.
“But I'm off the clock right now so why should that matter?”
Naruto smirked when the Uchiha had no answer for him and shifted closer until he
was practically sitting in Sasuke's lap, “and besides, what happens in the
elevator stays in the elevator. No one ever has to know.”
The last part Naruto made sure to whisper into Sasuke's ear
before giving the pale shell a teasing lick. He was willing to bet money on the
fact that the idea of this moment and what may come after would be a dirty
secret between them would turn his boss on.
In an incredibly adorable gesture, or so Naruto thought, Sasuke
bit his lip as he weighed up the pros and cons of the blondes offer. There were a lot of pros, enough to make his
cock twitch in the confines of his pants at the very thought of them, and there
was only one real con that he could think of, even if it was a massive one.
Getting caught having sexual relations with one of his
employees would spell disaster for the company and so Sasuke had every faith
that they would eventually recover from whatever losses they felt the raven
didn’t want to be the cause of such a calamity.
Of course if they were caught he could always buy the
silence of whoever caught them but if they still went to the press that would
make things even worse. Then there was the possibility that whoever found them
would be smart enough to set up some sort of blackmail.
The ramifications of that one con could be earth shattering,
was a couple of hours of pleasure with the blonde in front of him, offering
himself openly, really worth the risk?
He should have said no. As soon as he started having doubts
about it Sasuke knew that he should have pushed the blonde off of him, he
should have listened to his instincts telling him that this was a bad idea.
But he didn’t.
Sasuke shuddered as Naruto dipped his head down to lick and
kiss at the skin of his neck, no doubt trying to help him make up his mind. The
Uchiha didn’t need any help though, his libido had already decided for him.
It had been so long since he had been with someone. It wasn’t
that he had a lack of candidates to choose from to sate his lust and if he ever
needed to he could pay for the best. It was the simple fact that for months he
hadn’t found anyone that remotely interested him.
If the person he was with didn’t interest him, even if the
relationship was casual, then the Uchiha didn’t see the point of wasting time
to start off with. What was the point of putting effort into something and
dealing with a person whose company you couldn’t stand if you knew it wasn’t
ever going to last.
So just like everything else in his life relationships had
fallen to the wayside in favour of focusing on his work until he had forgotten
about them almost all together. Sasuke knew thought that one part of his mind
had always been looking out for something or rather someone that could catch
his interests.
And now here was Naruto. He was beautiful and seemed
dedicated to his job even if he wasn’t exactly the brightest person out there.
The best thing about him though was the fact that, though he had been tentative
when they had first met, he now wasn’t afraid to question the ravens ideas and
opinions, declaring his own with a loud steely determination.
He was so laid back but could become totally hyper and he
had a fire about him that he wasn’t afraid to unleash if someone, even one of
his superiors as he was, challenged him.
Naruto was the total and polar opposite of everything that
he was but instead of finding the blondes personality annoying like he did with
most other similar people he found it oddly refreshing to have someone around
who challenged his every move so brashly.
Sasuke felt as if he had found in the blonde something,
someone to balance him. It was as if Naruto took away some of his cold exterior
and lifted a little of the stress from his shoulders and replaced it with a
little of his warmth and Sasuke may have just been imagining it but he thought
that Naruto seemed far more relaxed and less hyper when taking instruction from
him.
The blonde was an incredible find and Sasuke felt his ire
rise slightly as he realised that Naruto had been right under his nose for
months and he had never known. The Uchiha wouldn’t give up this chance, he
would monopolise this opportunity and take Naruto as his own, if only this one
time.
Sasuke wound his fingers into the hair at Naruto’s nape, marvelling
at the softness of the strands, and pulled the blonde off of his neck, groaning
at the sight of Naruto with his lips already swollen from his task of marking
his neck.
Naruto watched Sasuke with lidded blue eyes, wondering why
the raven had pulled him away from something he had been enjoying and let out a
soft whimper when the raven’s grip on his hair tightened, holding him in place
as Sasuke crashed their lips together.
It was a short hard kiss, used to tell Naruto that Sasuke had
accepted his carnal offer more than anything else. But never the less it had
both men gasping when Sasuke broke their contact, exhilarated by their first kiss.
Just as Sasuke moved forward again with intent to kiss the
blonde in his lap properly there was a horrible screech from the metal
surrounding them and the emergency lights flared sickeningly before blacking
out completely.
Naruto clung to Sasuke's forearms, whipping his head back
and forth frantically as he tried to see through the darkness that had suddenly
engulfed them in an attempt to figure out what had made that sickening metal
against metal grind.
He was panicking again; he could already feel his chest
tightening from the raged breaths that were barely making it out of his body.
Naruto wined quietly in discomfort, his panic and anxiety attacks were bad
enough already without being trapped in the dark in a confined space that
sounded suspiciously like it was about to fall to the earth.
Sasuke wrapped his arms around Naruto upon hearing the
little distressed noise that had managed to make its way around his gasping
breaths, “it’s alright, someone’s probably just trying to restart the elevator
is all.”
Even as the Uchiha said this the elevator gave out another
painful moan and lurched violently, the action pulling a small scream from
Naruto while Sasuke tried to brace both his and Naruto’s body weight against
the wall, not wanting either of them to be thrown should the elevators movements
become any worse.
“It’s alright Naruto don’t worry,” Sasuke said to the now
shaking, panting blonde, “We’ll be out of here soon, I promise.”
Truth be told Sasuke was just as worried as Naruto. He knew
nothing about elevators and was only hopping that the violent movements of
their metal cage was the result of someone finally coming for them and not a
prelude to them plummeting to their death.
He didn’t tell Naruto this though; he tried his hardest to
remain a pillar of strength for the clearly struggling blonde. If he was confident
of their survival, at least outwardly so, then perhaps some of that mentality
would rub off on the Uzumaki.
After that moment the elevator went silent, save for Naruto
ragged breathing, and both men looked around nervously despite the fact that neither
could see anything since the safety lights had yet to come back on.
“Do…do you…is it over?” Naruto gasped out, changing his sentence half
way through when it became too hard for him to say.
At first Sasuke didn’t answer the blonde, to intent on
listening to their surroundings to see if anything else unexpected and
dangerous was going to happen. Everything was silent though and the Uchiha
thought they were finally okay, “I think we’re alright now.”
But he spoke to soon because only seconds later the elevator
shifted again before plummeting three whole floors, the screams of the metal echoed
by the terrified men trapped on the ride of their life.

A/N: OH NO!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for the cliff hanger there but I
couldn’t think of another way to end this chapter, it was just getting way too
long. Seriously it was hitting thirteen pages and I still had so much more to
write but I had to put the break here or it would have just been ridiculous.
