Author's Note Saito-chan-Thanks so much for your review!!Its great to meet a fellow Neji fan..I apologize for it being so long a hiatus…*hands you the cake* Because you are so awesome and reviewed!!!! (I sort of forgot that I had started this story here.Again I apologize to anyone I may have offended with my revisions to the first chapter.*dodges the projectiles* I had a rogue plot bunny that kept nagging and it took the story in a darker direction. Lemons still planned for later chapter with warnings at the beginnings…….Anyway...On to the story.) ********************************************************************************************************************************* ".....-iko...."I groaned ignoring the voice murmuring in my ear. "..........Mamiko. Wake up love." The voice was accompanied by a gentle shake this time. I groaned again, the sudden movement sending my head into a painful spiral. "Ugh....What?"I pressed out, keeping my eyes closed. "Head hurting?" The smile was apparent in his voice. I growled, instantly regretting it, "Yes you ass. It is and you were perfectly aware of that the moment you started calling my name." He tut tutted at my use of profanity and stroked my neck. "Its still dark out…you can open your eyes." I flinched. I had always hated this time of the day and but nobody, especially Neji knew exactly why. But that had never stopped him from trying to break me of my fear of the early morning light. "……….don't wanna. Wake me when the sun comes up...and stays there for a while." Turning my back to him, I pulled the blanket back over my head and curled up into a ball, my head ringing. I shut my eyes waiting for the return to dreamless sleep that I prayed to Gods came quickly. An hour later, I heard Neji's breathing even out again as he resigned himself to the reality that I would not emerge from my cocoon of blankets until after sunrise, which was still a long way off. I was nearly asleep when...."MAMIKO!!!!!MAAAAAAAMIIIIIIIIKOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" Now it was Neji's turn to groan. "Mamiko....I love you to pieces...But if you don't get your cousin I swear to GODS I will paralyze his chakra points and turn him into a drooling invalid. Now do something!!!" I sighed "Alright .Alright...I'll go." I turned and slipped one of Neji's shirts over my head before whipping around and tossing a hidden kunai at his head. He froze. "But don't ever threaten my family like that love….No matter how idiotic and infuriating he is…that’s my job" Neji nodded numbly and drew the blanket back over his head. I on the other hand, was on my way down the stairs muttering obscenities that would make even Tsunade’s jaw drop as I headed to answer the front door. As the door swung open, I was greeted by the sight of my obnoxious red headed cousin, Kinji Osakura. He grinned wide, his grey eyes nearly disappearing into his cheeks. “Ah my sweet darling cousin, Miko-chan! Isn’t it a lovely morning?” His normally soothing tenor was grating on my nerves and I began to massage my forehead. In a calm voice, I spoke to him “Kinji…Darling…If someone isn’t dead or dying……you will be in the next 5 minutes. WHY THE HELL ARE YOU HERE?!?!” He shrugged. “Well I was just in the neighborhood and I wanted to drop in and see my little cousin….Miko-chan” I felt the twitch in my eyebrow. “Kinji..you live on the other side of town…Why the hell would you be in the neighborhood?!” He seemed to ponder the question for a moment. “Well aside from wanting to see my favorite baby cousin..I do have a reason for being here.” Raising an eyebrow, I waited for him to speak. “My girlfriend… I mean fiancée now… She was assigned a mission about 6 months ago. It was only supposed to last 3. The last of the members of her squad of 6 arrived yesterday.” I sighed frustrated. “And just what, praytell, does this have to do with me?” “She’s missing.” Came a new voice from behind me. “Hello Sai.
