Okay so I got a couple of good reviews for the first chapter
of this new fic and a fair few hits so I�ve decided to continue it. It won�t be
updated as regularly as Admitting the Truth coz right
now that�s my main priority but when that�s done this piece will have my full
attention. Also I'm looking for someone to be my go to person for this fic
since my other muse has decided to leave me to my own devices *tear*

�Damn it Sakura I look like Shino!� Naruto wailed and threw
a mini tantrum as he stared at himself in the full length mirror in the
dressing room, �why do you keep choosing outfits like this, this is the fifth
one so far!�
Sakura threw open the curtain to the dressing room with another
pile of clothes in her hand, �it�s the forth,� she corrected him as she strode
into the small space and dumped the clothes down before looking turning to
Naruto and the command she had about to issue him of trying on said pile died
in her throat.
Naruto was plastered to the wall opposite her as if he were
trying to get it to swallow him and he looked at her in horror with one arm wrapped
around his chest and the other covering his lower regions.
�W-what are you doing?� Sakura quirked an immaculate eyebrow
as she realised that her blonde teammate looked totally scandalised.
Naruto could feel the blood rushing to his face and he
looked at Sakura like she was mentally handicapped, �this is a change room Sakura.�
�So, it�s not like your naked.�
�But I could have been!!!� It was almost a scream and he
regretted it as soon as he did it because he heard a familiar snicker come from
somewhere in the otherwise quiet shop.
�What are you worried about Naruto,� the blonde could
imagine the creepy smile plastered on Sai�s pale face as clear as day even though
he couldn�t see him, �it�s not like you have much to look at, what with your
tiny penis and all.�
Naruto, as eager to defend his manliness as always stormed
out of the change room, all previous concerns about Sakura�s presence
completely forgotten and went to stand before his dark haired teammate who was
regarding him quietly, waiting for what insult would be thrown in his face this
time.
�Alright Sai I�ve had it up to here with your tiny penis
comments, honestly since the day we met you haven�t shut up about it,� Naruto
vaguely heard the small cough issued by the shop keeper who was fretting that
the conversation would turn into an argument, �if you�re so bloody interested
take me out to dinner a couple of times and then maybe we�ll get to a point
where I can show you just how wrong you are about it but until then just shut
the hell up!!!�
�It looks good on you,� Naruto blinked a few times as his
mind registered what Sai had just said, it had thrown him off his train of
thought and he was having trouble getting back on it, �but the black pants are
a bit to emo for you I think,� Sai pulled a garment off a rack and showed it to
Naruto, �I found them when we first came in here but Sakura made me hide them.
It makes one assume that she is not a fan of orange.�
Sakura groaned inwardly as Naruto took the new pants from Sai�s
hands before rushing back into the dressing room and shoving her out before
closing the curtain excitedly, �Sai honestly I'm trying to broaden his horizons
when it comes to fashion,� the curtain billowed and a small curse was issued
followed by a louder thud and Sakura suspected that the blonde had gotten tangled
in the legs of the pants in his excitement to get the garment on and fallen.
�I think Naruto�s horizons are broad enough don�t you,� Sai
became a little sad, �besides if he�s going to have to wear clothes that he
isn�t comfortable in or doesn�t like from now on shouldn�t we at least do what
we can to make him feel slightly better about them, I mean we are his friends
after all.�
Sakura smiled quietly at Sai, it always made her happy to
hear that the emotionally stunted youth before her regarded Naruto and even
sometimes herself as a friend, �your right Sai. Naruto�s having enough trouble
dealing with his new additions without me trying to change his style.�
�Sakura,� Naruto poked his head out from behind the curtain,
interrupting their conversation, �you won�t be mad at me if I get these pant
with you, I really like them and they even match some of the jumpers and vests
you picked out for me.�
�No Naruto I won�t mind,� the green eyes konoichi gave him
an affectionate smile, �come on out here so we can have a look at you,� she
encouraged.
Naruto warily stepped out of the dressing room, fidgeting
with one of the zippers on his jacket before he held his arms out from his body
and gave an awkward little spin, �So?�
The pants Sai had supplied him with were just as orange as
his old clothes had been and were just baggy enough for the blonde to hide his
tail in when he was walking around town. The jacket was one that Sakura had
picked out for him. True it was a similar style to the ones Shino wore but the
hood was a little bigger to hide the ears and the collar wasn�t as high. Silver
zippers ran across the material but only some of the led to pockets, most just
there for decoration.
Sakura moved forward to fuss with the garments and gave an
appreciative nod, �I actually like the pants, and they look good with the black
jacket. What do you think Sai?�
�Its summer, he�s going to die of heat in that thing,� was Sai�s
only observation.
�Umm wait a sec,� Sakura bit her lip as she began to test
several zippers before she found the one she wanted before unzipping it and
removing one of the sleeves with a triumphant smile, �I thought of that to.
With his newly elevated body heat I thought it would be best to go with
something multipurpose so he won�t have to waste time changing all the time.�
�Not as dumb as you look,� Sai said with a smile, testing the
limits of Sakura�s patients in a public place which he came to realise quite quickly
were not very high as her fist connected with his head.
�Alright Naruto let�s get these two and we�ll see what else
for you we can find once we�ve had lunch,� Sakura usher him back into the
dressing room to change back into his old things while Sai picked himself up
off the ground with a barely supressed groan, he really had deserved that one.

�I got a visit from a summons today,� said Tsunade as she
watched Kakashi settle against the far wall of her office, putting as much
space between himself and the two council members as possible while still being
in the room, �the summons had a message for me, from Sasuke Uchiha.�
The silver haired jonin stiffened but the council members
remained unmoved by what would normally be startling information and Kakashi
realised that they had already been made privy to this information and he was
just here now to be told what they were going to do about it.
�He has decided of his own accord to return to the village
now that he has completed what he set out to do and wishes to bring Team Taka
with him,� Tsunade informed, �he knows he will be punished for his actions and
asks that we send him a message once we decide what they are to be.�
Kakashi chuckled and folded his arms over his chest, �he�s
nothing if not cautious, what you decide will depend on his return. He won�t set
another foot in this village if you place an official death sentence on his
head.�
�We have considered that,� said the wrinkly old female, �but
in light of the fact that he eliminated a great threat to Konoha in the form of
Orochimaru and has caused some conflict in Akatsuki�s future plans with the
murder of his brother it is clear that we cannot treat the young Uchiha as just
another S rank criminal.�
�So what will you do, as council members you must be worried
that perhaps his intentions are to eliminate those remaining few who ordered
the destruction of his clan,� Kakashi regarded the two members with a calm eye,
watching for signs that either of them had ever had anything to do with that incident.
�Kakashi stop trying to cross reference them,� Tsunade scolded,
�I believe we have dealt with those that were involved in the murder of the Uchiha
clan, or have you forgotten the fact that our prison cells are unusually full
of late?�
Hatake smiled beneath his mask, Konoha�s Hokage was really quite
a sight to behold. Once she had been made aware of the council�s actions all those
years ago after Sasuke�s very unhappy attack on the Kage summit after he had
killed his brother Tsunade had jumped into action.
She didn�t care if they were council members or elders, she
had them all arrested and stripped of any titles they held. She didn�t care if
they thought they had a reason for what they did; in her mind nothing at all
justified the merciless execution of so many lives that included young children
who couldn�t even say the word Uchiha yet.
�How could I forget,� Kakashi gave a silent nod of respect
to the powerful woman, �so what is to be his punishment then if you won�t kill
him?�
�He will have to serve some jail time, there is no avoiding
that but maybe it can be done under house arrest depending on his attitude when�if
he decided to return. If he wants to perform the duties of a shinobi for the
village then he�s going to have to start from the bottom again. He�ll work his
way up quickly but that�s not the point-�
�It�s the humiliation that counts,� Kakashi interrupted
anticipating her.
�We are treating this situation carefully,� supplied the old
man, �after all what better place to have ones enemy than right by under our
noses so we can keep an eye on him.�
�I suppose it makes sense but I have just one more question,�
Kakashi straightened as he became serious again, �what about Danzo?�
�Against the councils wishes I'm granting Sasuke the right
to fight Danzo for the honour of his clan. As for Danzo�s view on this he can
either defend himself or he can be cut down,� Tsunade reasoned with an elegant
shrug of her shoulders, �so Kakashi, you think he�ll agree to that?�
�Of course.�
�Why so certain?�
�He's not finished with his gaols yet, how is he supposed to
revive his clan and its name when he can�t enter the village where they
originated. Besides, if Sasuke were to consider bringing children into this
world he would never do it unless he knew they would be safe. Running from ANBU
is most certainly not safe, not for him and most certainly not for a child.�
Tsunade smiled down at the dark oak of her current desk, she
had gone through three in the last week, �That�s what I thought to. Who would
have thought Uchiha would grow up be so paternal.�
�I blame Iruka,� Kakashi�s eye curved up in a smile at the
thought of his lover, �though he�s more maternal than anything.�
With her own little smile Tsunade dismissed the jonin with
one more instruction, �you are not to tell Naruto, got it?�
Kakashi saluted her over his shoulder as he headed out the
door, perverted book already clutched in his hand, �and deal with him jumping
around like a little kid until he gets here. What do you think I am?�
Once the door was closed Tsunade�s hands blurred through
various seals with practiced ease as she summoned a small purple slug to take
her answer back to the rouge ninja that she hoped would prove to be a great
distraction for the annoying blonde shinobi whom she had un officially adopted
as her little brother. He really needed something to take his mind off what was
happening to him.
�Alright,� said Tsunade to the little slug making a sticky
mess on the carpet of her office, �Uchiha, these are the conditions of your
return��

A/N: Right so I'm not exactly sure what happens with the
whole Sasuke finally killing Itachi thing and finding out what really went down
when it came to his clan because I haven�t watched it but I do know that there
is a fight with Danzo and Madara does something and Sasuke wants Itachi�s eyes
transplanted or whatever so I kinda just made up my own little story so Sasuke will
return to Konoha without trying to murder everyone like a crazy person.

wanted to make Sasuke seem more mature because if he�s serious about reviving
his clan thinking about the future is something he�s going to have to start
doing more of.
