After disappearing Naruto was jumping from roof to roof in no specific direction. He didn’t know why but something in the air made him weird. It was heavy and smelled dirty like the alleyways in those big cities he would go to sometimes for missions. But in this place it was everywhere!

He let his senses expand and caught the heavy scent of the sea and blurred away only appear at the beaches edge and sighed.

The smell is slightly the same back in his world but here…everything just seems to be so…polluted and corrupted in one way or another.

He looked around and saw massive ocean liners and his jaw dropped. What the hell!?

‘Hey hey Kyuu! What is that over there?’ he asked pointing to the ship his deep cerulean eyes wide in awe at the ship.

Kyuubi looked to where the blond was pointing and snorted nothing new to him.

“That would be called an ocean liner, their sometimes party boats that have bars, rooms for people to stay at, restaurants and other stuff that you probably haven’t ever seen before on them. You need to pay big money to stay on one of those.” The fox yawned still upset with the blond for healing Gaara before.

He knew the red haired teen was probably in a gang or something if the group ganging up on him was anything to go by.

“Wow that’s so cool…” the blond whispered. He looked around and saw no one else at the beach around him and raced onto the water to get a closer look at the boat. At the ship he could hear the laughter of people talking and music playing in different sections of the boat.

Multicolored lights lit the deck and party decorations were hung in places that the blond was able to see.

‘I’m gonna go onto the deck to see what it’s like.’ He told the fox only to feel the demons chakra flare in warning.

“If you are kit now would be the right time to use genjutsu to make yourself invisible to these humans so nothing problematic occurs got it?” the fox growled glaring at his vessel making him laugh.

‘Yeah yeah I got it, no worries.’ He chuckled and placed a low level genjutsu over himself to keep from being seen. He then began walking up the side of the massive boat till he was standing on the railings looking in childish awe at the neat things he saw.

“Man this is so cool!” Kyuubi chuckled at his vessels childishness and told him that money around this time should be different and had Naruto change his money to be the same as how the fox described it as with a simple transformation jutsu and jumped away from the ledge and into a shadowed area of the boat, releasing the genjutsu so people can see him after being hidden away in the dark.

A thought suddenly hit him as he looked around and noticed how different clothes were in this dimension compared to his. Looking around he noticed a clothing store and grinned. Time to do some shopping.

Kyuubi had forced him to get something other than orange again making the blond pout but still happy with the clothing bought anyway.

He wore a tight black t-shirt with low ridding, hip hugging dark blue jeans that hugged him in all the right places and black sneakers with crimson stripes on the side. He wore a black leather choker around his neck with the necklace from Tsunade still around it as well but kept the fingerless gloves with the plated back.

At Kyuubi’s and some female store clerk’s urgings he got his ear pierced with one silver whoop and left with a large grin on his face. That wasn’t so bad as he thought it would be! And his new look turned more heads than back home.

That thought immediately brought a frown to his face. No one ever did look his way aside from his friends since he was the ‘demon brat’ as everyone liked to call him. But even then his friends sometimes didn’t even pay close attention to him like the way he would for them to make sure nothing was ever wrong with them.

He chuckled in a hallow voice devoid of all emotions. Yeah, they were probably glad that he was gone. Well...except his friends at least which made him grin childishly again and decided to stop moping and look around and maybe play around some.

Since Naruto’s head was so filled with taking in all these new things he was completely oblivious to all the stares he got as he passed by. No one from the village ever saw his body, not even his friends most of the time got to see it that well, since he had his baggy jump suit on most of the time.

Today was the only time he changed because his jumpsuits had ‘magically’ got ripped to shreds.

But now with these from fitting clothes he definably turned everyones head. The tight shirt he wore showed his toned body that came from being a ninja without and spec of fat anywhere and the jeans he wore, which looked like they were painted on him, fit his legs well and showed his perfectly round ass that many people ogled at openly.

He felt the stares but since he never had that happen before he just ignored it the best he could subconsciously thinking it was out of anger and spite. People also noticed his rare brilliant blue sapphire eyes, which were what caught people’s attention mostly, golden hair and sun-kissed skin as he walked passed.

Kyuubi snickered at Naruto’s obliviousness and was actually starting to be thankful to that idiot ninja that sent them here. They could actually start a new life and, seemingly, less stressful life here without the abuse of the villagers and the threat of Akatsuki and enemy-nin.

And since Kyuubi knew all sorts of jutsu the blond had never learned or possibly heard of before they had all the time in the world, basically to practice them without having to go on missions and such as a disturbance.

Naruto was beginning to think the same as well and smiled, making some people have nosebleeds from the utter brilliance that was shown as he flashed his perfect teeth.

Walking over to where some stands were, he looked at the games trying to decide about what to do. There was a game that had guns attached to the edge and some targets on the back wall surrounded by prizes of all shapes and sizes.

An old man that was sitting at the side noticed Naruto and smiled as he watched Naruto’s eyes widen and look around at all the neat stuff.

“Would you like to play young man?” he asked, Naruto nod frantically making him chuckle. The teen was just so childish for his age. It felt good to see someone not conceded enough to not wanna act like a kid again in their older age.

“So how do I win old man?” Naruto ask picking up the gun after Kyuubi’s carefully instructions on how to use one and hit the designated targets with steady accuracy.

Surprisingly Kyuubi knew lots about things in this world which was slightly shocking to Naruto since he thought the fox would only be around in worlds like his own. But he guessed not after a loud and very annoying rant from the fox and quickly ignored him turning his attention back to the old man as he explained the rules.

“Well you get ten shots per round and for as many shots that you get the larger and grander the prize.” The man informed with a nod, taking no offence to the ‘old man’ comment while loading up the gun for Naruto and moving to the side.

Naruto raised the gun with and expert grace that came with being a ninja and guidance from Kyuubi and closed one eyes as he aimed. Some people had come over to watch and see how well he’d do to see if they’d wanna try while others just wanted to watch the cutie try his luck.

And coincidentally luck was always at the blond’s side. After finally getting steady with little to no movement only a ninja could have he fired all ten shots, hitting ten of the fifteen sheets directly on the bull’s eye with precise accuracy.

Everyone gaped at Naruto and he leaned back placing the gun down, smiling. That was pretty fun! The old man gathered himself and smiled to Naruto.

“That’s some pretty good shootin’! What’s your name kid?” he asked and Naruto gave him the nice Gai pose.

“Uzumaki Naruto at your service!” he laughed and suddenly people began clapping him on the back congratulating him and asking him how he did that. Naruto smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck nervously, not used to people talking openly like that to him.

Looking around the stall he looked for what to choose as a prize when suddenly something caught his eye. A rather large medium sized crimson fox plushie with beady black eyes sat in the corner with a crimson and black crystal necklace, slightly similar to Naruto’s but the long crystal had a sharp curve to the side at the bottom, wrapped around its neck.

Noticing Naruto’s gaze towards the doll the man went over and plucked the doll up from its spot and handed it to the blond.

“You want this one?” he asked chuckling at the blond’s embarrassed blush and nervous movement who nodded taking the fox and looking at it closely.

Kyuubi looked eagerly at the plush and told the blond he chose the right prize making the blond chuckle. Some people who were by the blond raised a brow at his sudden laughter but he ignored them.

Thanking the man he walked on, plushie in arm that he now named as chibi-Kyuu, making the fox growl, secretly happy with the plushie being named after him, in search of more games to play.

Walking around and exploring a bit Naruto suddenly saw a sign that looked interesting and went over to read it. Eyes widened before an ecstatic look crept into them and he raced off in the direction it directed all to.

After being seated in a good row away from the stage Naruto watched as the lights dimmed and spotlights shone down everywhere and then onto the stage where a man stood in a tuxedo.

“Hello ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the Amazing Burlou Brother’s Show of amazing acts!” the man spoke into the microphone and waited to let everyone clapping and cheering stop so he could continue.

“Today’s events shall take place under the moon and stars!” and just like that the top of the tent pulled apart to reveal the night sky with the moon shining above making Naruto look in slight awe. Much prettier back home but still shone brightly here.

And soon people came out to perform all sorts of tricks and dances making Naruto smile and practically jump up and down in his seat if it weren’t for Kyuubi’s training for him to control his excitement. They all moved with grace that reminded Naruto of the Hyuuga clan when they practice their family jutsus on water.

“Now how was that ladies and gentlemen? Pretty neat huh?” he asked chuckling “Now I’d like someone from the crowd to come up and be my assistant for a moment. Anyone?” he asked. Many people raised their hands, including Naruto who was waving it around like a kid mouthing ‘ooh pick me!’ like a mantra.

Much to Naruto’s dismay the man chose a small child instead that had been sitting in the row in front of him making him pout. The child rushed up to the stage and was soon told what he would need to do. Watching the kid on stage Naruto smiled softly at seeing the happy expression on the boys face reminding him of Konohamaru and all the other kid he used to play with all the time.

Sadly the show came to an end after a few more minutes after the child was brought up and left the tent.

‘So what should we do now Kyuu? Theres so much here that I don’t know where to begin.’ Naruto asked looking around.

“Well since we’re going to be here for a really long time why not go to the casino and gamble.” The fox told him confusing the blond.

‘What’s a casino? Is it like what Obaa-Chan does all the time?’ Naruto inquired walking towards the map showing where everything is and moving to the stairs leading to the lower regions of the boat.

“Yes kit but slightly different. I’ll explain to you on how to do things when we get there.” Naruto nodded and worked his way past the crowd to the large area that had the words Casino in bright lights flashing above it.

Naruto looked around taking in all the things that were similar or entirely different from back home when Tsunade would take him with her, gambling, since she always won when he was by her since he always told her the numbers or things that she should do to win.

He guessed it was all because of fuzz butt’s influence and his own ridiculously good luck that he always tends to be very good at these things.

Walking over to one of the many slot machines that Kyuubi told him to go to he read the instructions that were printed on the front beneath the slot screen and inserted a coin he had gotten before in exchange for some money.

Pulling the arm down he waited for a few turns and let Kyuubi tell him when to press the buttons with precise timing. Pressing the last two buttons the light above him blinked rapidly and said winner startling Naruto. That thing was damn loud!

“Kit you won!” the fox cheered making Naruto laugh at him.

‘Really?! I couldn’t tell even with the flashing lights and speakers yelling ‘winner!’ over and over again.’ The blond chuckled making the fox pout. That was actually sort of exciting for once without the threat of getting hurt from fighting.

Suddenly he felt an all too familiar presence that threatened to bring tears to his eyes. Soon a strong feminine voice spoke out making Naruto turn almost in disbelief.

“You have pretty good luck kid. What’s your name?”

If someone were to look at the blond at that moment they would see a calm, cool and collect Naruto sitting there staring at the elder blond woman. But if they looked carefully they could see the slight shaking of the hands and the wide eyes as blue clashed with hazel eyes.

He controlled the urge to go over and give her a hug but knew better, since they were in another dimension and this Tsunade has never met him before, Naruto just smiled in greeting to her.

“Naruto Uzumaki” he said introducing himself, “And you are?” even though he knew who she was he had to act like he didn’t. Different dimension or not Baa-Chan still looked no older than thirty. Kyuubi guessed it was probably from different operations and beauty products to make her seem younger by reducing wrinkles and the grey hair.

“Senju Tsunade and my assistant Shizune.” She said while pointing to the woman next to her making Naruto smile inwardly and shook her hand in greeting. “Now what’s a kid your age doing alone on a cruise ship like this with no adult supervision huh?” she asked sitting next to him while handing him a bucket to put all his coins in that he won.

Thinking fast Naruto just rubbed the back of his head nervously turning back towards his own slot putting some coins in again while pulling the arm down.

“Oh you know, just needed a break from life and decided to chill and do what I want for a while. And besides I’m almost eighteen anyway.” He lied smoothly, except for his age, as he got all lemons again, winning. Tsunade frowned at her machine and look to his.

“I swear either your machine is rigged or you just have one hell of a lucky streak.” She sighed leaning back from her slot after losing five times straight making Naruto laugh.

“You remind me of someone I know. She was known as the Legendary Sucker because of how she always tends to lose when she gambles or does stuff like this.” He laughed making Tsunade look at him funny.

“Well that’s the title I’ve unofficially acquired myself. Odd…” she said trailing off making Naruto wince inwardly. Maybe he shouldn’t have said that.

After getting a good look at this world’s Tsunade he noticed that, minus the outfit and chakra, they were exactly the same. She wore a grey sleeveless shirt that had a very low v neckline that showed off her cleavage and flared off right below her chest down a little past her hips with straight black dress pants and sandals similar to the ones she wore back in his Konoha.

Shizune wore a simple dark blue dress that cut off an inch or two below her knee and elegant black shoes with no heels. Surprisingly she had Ton Ton just minus the accessories he normally wore.

“Well it’s a big world…” he began trailing off hoping she would get the meaning behind his words instead of questioning him. She turned narrowed and suspicious eyes towards him making him gulp. He knew there would be some suspicion he just hoped that-

“KYAAA!! HENTAI!!” a slap resounded almost inaudible from the loud noise in the room. But everyone within distance heard the scream and turned to see a woman walking off from a group of people, surrounding someone, with a huff and a bright blush covering her pale cheeks.

Naruto blinked owlishly in the group’s direction not really believing it. First Gaara then Tsunade and now-

“JIRAIYA!!” Tsunade yelled stomping over to the man only to punch him up-side the head making him go flying and Naruto pale. Oh yeah he was right. And even in this world Tsunade had a monstrous strength not to be reckoned with.

“You pervert! What have I told you before? Are you trying to get us kicked out?” she yelled making Naruto and Shizune flinch. Jiraiya was not getting off easy this time around.

Shizune turned to Naruto with a sigh and gave him a small smile which he returned and motioned towards the bar. With a nod they both moved over towards it and sat down on the cushioned seats to wait for Tsunade to finish beating Jiraiya up for probably groping some young woman again.

Shizune ordered water since she needed to stay focus and watch the two adults who fight like children and because she never like drinking unless for a very good reason. Naruto just ordered some soda since he was still seventeen, turning eighteen in a month and wasn’t allowed to drink until he was older which made him sulk.

The sat in a comfortable silence despite the loud chatter and noise coming from behind them that was dulled due to the fact they were a ways off from the gamblers and slot machine players.

Shizune then began explaining to the blond, after he asked, about how to get your money from the coins won from the game from the nearby stations until Tsunade came walking over calmly with a eyebrow twitching every so often with a beat up Jiraiya in tow.

“Haha, you got beat old man!” Naruto teased making Jiraiya huff in annoyance.

“Oh yeah gaki? I’m sure you would be too if you went against monster fists over here.” He said pointing to a twitching Tsunade while openly checking out her breast only to get a fist in the face again.

Naruto mouth a quiet ‘ouch’ and mock twitch before turning back around to the bar to sip some of his drink while chuckling at Jiraiya just as Tsunade began ordering her alcohol.

‘Wow I can’t believe I found them already. I wonder who else I’ll meet soon…’ Naruto mused to himself when suddenly something hit him. What if Oji-san was alive still?! He could be able to see the old man again even if the one here doesn’t know him.

A grin broke out onto Naruto’s face at the thought when suddenly it was turned into a frown just as fast. What if his father were alive too? Just because he wasn’t born here doesn’t mean his parents aren’t either.

Shaking his head of the quickly darkening thoughts he thought back to the problem at hand he had forgotten with all the new things he was discovering. How was he going to be able to get in contact with Konoha or get back at all even if that were possible?!

Suddenly he was drawn out of his thoughts when a sharp pain suddenly shot through his head.

“Ouch! What the hell was that for obaa-chan?!” he yelled pointing an accusing finger at Tsunade who sputtered and Jiraiya choke on his drink and start laughing.

“What was that gaki?!” she shot back standing up, drinks forgotten. Naruto stood as well and huffed crossing his arms in front of his chest.

“There are nicer ways to get people’s attention you know.” He grumbled, watching as Tsunade glared at the chuckling Jiraiya who was clutching the bar for support lest he fall over onto the floor from laughing so hard.

“BRAT!” she yelled and smacked him again making him cry out in pain, clutching his head and whimpering. After moping for a few moments he turned back to the blond with questioning eyes.

“So what was it that you needed to tell me so badly that you ended up hitting my poor head?” he whimpered sitting back down finishing his drink in the process followed by Tsunade who muttered a irritated ‘gaki…’ under her breath making Shizune chuckle.

“I was just asking you before if you’d like to join us later for some more gambling.” She said with a devious glint in her eyes that Naruto had seen many times before. Back home, whenever she got that glint, it ended up with him being dragged along to help her win whenever she played and not when it turns out to be a bad omen or whatever.

Naruto inwardly groaned. It was going to be a long night…wait! He didn’t even have a place to sleep yet! Not that he was tired or anything but he needed to find a place to sleep while he stayed here.

“Uhh sorry Baa-Chan I need to go do something so maybe some other time!” he explained and was about to rush off when she called out for him to wait.

Looking back he noticed her pull out a weird looking device Kyuubi said was called a ‘cell phone’ or whatever and flipped it open.

“At least give me your number so I can get in touch with you so we can make a date to go spend some ‘quality’ time together.” She grinned.

“Sorry I don’t have one…” he said only to get a curious look from the three.

“How can a kid your age not have one?” Jiraiya asked before getting up and slinging an arm around the blond, pulling him away.

“Wha- wait! Where the hell are we going?”

“To get you a cell of course!” Jiraiya chuckled, Tsunade and Shizune following alongside them, “I already have a feeling I’m gonna like you kid so let’s get you a way to keep in touch.”

Pulling Naruto into the nearby electronics store they helped pick out the blond a phone that had all the latest features with a small, fat, smiling frog attached at the top as an accessory before bringing it up.

After purchasing the phone Tsunade quickly added her number along with Shizune’s and, reluctantly, Jiraiya’s as they explained to him about how to use it and contact them.

“Wow thanks Obaa-Chan, Ero-Sannin and Shizune-San!” He exclaimed clutching his new phone, looking at it, before putting it in his pants pocket. They smiled, totally missing the way Naruto called Jiraiya ero-sannin.

They wave good-bye to the blond and quickly went their separate ways. Naruto was beaming with joy. He found some of his precious people here! Wondering when he’ll find the others he made it his goal to find them all again and befriend them and if no other way back home is found...maybe start a new life here like hes always wanted.

“HE’S WHAT!?” Tsunade yelled standing straight up behind her desk with her chair knock over from jumping up so fast. Team 7 stood in front of her, each with different emotions flickering across their faces after giving their report of what happened before.

“Like I said before Hokage-Sama…Naruto has disappeared.” Kakashi spoke with saddened eyes. He was their sensei for crying out loud! He should have been the one protecting them and not just Naruto.

Tsunade’s face fell as the information finally latched itself onto her brain. Her gaki, her little brother/son was missing thanks to one of Konoha’s own shinobi…what would his father and past hokages think about this village now knowing that it has fallen to such a degree of ignorant and corrupted fools who are too blind to see that they have just made Konoha’s biggest asset and true hero disappear.

She wanted to cry…

They watched as their hokage literally fell to pieces right in front of them and there was nothing they could do to help. Sakura took a step forward exhaling a deep breath facing Tsunade and held determined eyes.

“Why would they do that Hokage-Sama? How could they honestly attack Naruto like that? They called him a demon for kami’s sake!” she cried balling her fists up with tears in her eyes. She didn’t understand why a village would honestly attack one of their own that wasn’t traitor or missing-nin who would never harm their village ever!

Sasuke nodded in a silent agreement wonder why the hell those villagers and shinobi would do something like that.

Kakashi’s visible eye looked away from his students with regretful eyes. If only they knew the truth and he wondered even if they did if they would accept Naruto still even after gaining that knowledge.

The two chuunin watched as Tsunade’s eyes fell to the table and sat back down in her seat that she righted back up and sigh.

“That is something you’re not allowed to know about…”

“Bullshit!” Everyone looked wide eyed at Sasuke who had that outburst. Hazel eyes narrowed.

“Excuse me Uchiha?” she spoke threateningly to the raven. Sasuke just shook his head and walked right up to her desk placing both hands on it looking her dead in the eyes, glaring.

“You know that’s bullshit. We’re his teammates and if something happens to one of us for a reason I think we should be ‘allowed’ to know why the fuck it happened for that reason!” he growled, not backing down from this argument.

Tsunade’s eyes softened almost painfully and she motioned for them to sit and placed a jutsu around the room so no one could eavesdrop onto their conversation. Looking the two who don’t know the blond’s secret she spoke in a commanding voice that left no room for interruptions or a painful punishment would occur.

“What I’m about to tell you is an SS-Class secret that was ordered by the third to have anyone who speaks of it killed.” She began and watched as their faces pale slightly and all these thoughts going on through their head about what it could be that involved the blond dobe.

“You both know about what happened seventeen, now almost eighteen years ago to our village correct?” she asked and got simultaneous nods.

“That was when the Kyuubi no Kitsune attacked the village. He was killed by yondaime by sacrificing his own life in the process of course.” Sakura spoke up with questioning eyes, “What does that have anything to do with Naruto?”

“What you said was only the half truth of what really happened Sakura…” Tsunade corrected making Sakura and Sasuke’s eyes widen, “The truth about the Kyuubi attacking is true but he wasn’t killed…he was sealed since his power was too great to simple get rid of. The Kyuubi was basically immortal if you think about it that way.” She chuckled humorlessly.

“But wait how could you seal something like Kyuubi?” Sakura asked again, Sasuke sitting by, letting her do all the talking until he deemed fit to say what he needed to. Tsunade sighed and gave them a hardened look that made them both flinch, Sakura more so than Sasuke, slightly from the intensity she looked at them with.

“These Bijuus, as we like to call them” she started “are demons of immense power and strength that can only be sealed within a human baby that was newly born…” Sakura gasped.

“That’s horrible! Having those things sealed in you when you can’t object to it!”

“But wait you spoke as if there were more of them than just Kyuubi…are there?” Sasuke asked his question shocking Sakura. There were more of those things? Looking to Tsunade she caught the subtle nod.

“There are nine bijuu in our whole world. Each nation has at least one bijuu while only one or two are free and in hiding after escaping from their village’s clutches.” These people who were used to seal these beings are called Jinchuuriki…a human sacrifice if you will. Sadly everyone just sees these people as the demons and not just a vessel that contains the beasts. Do you get what I’m saying?” she asked and got uncertain nods making her frown.

“Let’s take a take a bowl for example and put ramen into it. Does that make the bowl ramen as well?” They shook their heads no and she nodded, “That’s right it doesn’t. But sadly most people are too blind by their rage of the beast those humans contain that they begin thinking that those humans are the beast just in human form and tend to abuse them for most of their lives.” She said sadly, a picture of Naruto smiling like he had not a care in the world flashed within her mind.

Kakashi looked down at his feet as he stood against the wall, as though deep in thought. Suddenly Sasuke remembered something that clicked in his mind making perfect sense.

“No way…” he whispered with disbelief. Sakura turned to him with confused emerald eyes.

“What?”

“So you mean to say…that Naruto is-“

“Yes…exactly what you’re thinking Sasuke.” Kakashi spoke up cutting him off as he watched realization dawn to Sasuke and Sakura still slightly clueless.

“Wait, ‘Naruto is-‘what?” she asked looking between the three.

“Naruto is the Jinchuuriki holding the nine tailed fox.” Sasuke enlightened her with wide onyx eyes looking at nothing in particular.

‘So that’s what that mysterious red chakra was at the Valley of End…it was the Kyuubi’s.’ he remembered, memories of the red chakra appearing during their battle flashing through his mind.

Sakura looked at Tsunade with tears in her eyes. Her surrogate brother…a Jinchuuriki? Then that means the reason behind the attack was because the stupid village thought that Naruto, who was the kindest soul she knew, held a demon that was sealed away by the yondaime?

Did they not trust yondaime’s seal to keep the Kyuubi from being released?! Just how blind and ignorant were the villagers the strove to protect…how could Naruto even begin to want to protect these kinds of people who harm and mistreat him in the first place for his whole life?!

Choked sobs came out from Sakura as these thoughts ran through her mind at a rapid pace. How could they? An arm wrapped around Sakura, awkwardly, and without realizing who it was she turned into their arms and cried her heart out for Naruto.

She felt as though she had let him down by not noticing the abuse in the first place.

Raven locks of hair mixed with pink as Sasuke held Sakura within his arms knowing she needed the physical comfort and someone to cry against.

Kakashi and Tsunade were kind of shock to see the raven do that when he didn’t seem to care about the girl at all but they guessed he needed the physical contact as well after knowing what has happened to the blond and the duty forced upon him.

Kakashi moved over to them both and rubbed a calloused hand through their hair in a comforting manner with Sakura’s sobs the only thing being heard in the room.

Tsunade leaned back in her chair and brought out a cup and her sake. It was going to be a long day ahead and she was going to damn well enjoy letting Ibiki, and if Kakashi wanted to, interrogate and punish those villagers and shinobi that were caught when they attacked team 7, very much.

Finally after cashing in his coins and getting a hell of a lot of money from winning Naruto wandered about wondering what he should do next.

‘What do you think I should do Kyuu? I don’t have a room here and it’s too late to even find a place even…’ he asked with a rather large and audible sigh.

“Hmm I have a good idea of what you can do. After you’re done playing around head to the outskirts of Konoha and into the forest that surrounds the city away from any highways and most popular roads but not where it’ll be anything suspicious.”

‘Okay then but what should I do now before then?’ the blond asked. Kyuubi hummed a little as Naruto wandered on aimlessly until he caught the scent of some weird type of smelling water, ‘Ugh what’s that? It’s so strong and is all over the place here.’ Holding a hand over his nose he followed the smell to a pair of doors and opened them to a wondrous sight…in Naruto’s opinion.

A large pool with little hot tubs here and there, surrounded by a glass dome that looked out into the water and the glittering city with the moon and stars up above. The whole place looked like something out of a jungle with grasses, trees and all sorts of plants hanging about the waters.

And lucky Naruto it was all to himself with no one around!

“Wow this is amazing! Good things no one around.” He spoke happily to himself. Checking his surroundings carefully to make sure there was indeed no one he moved to a heavily dense and covered part of the forested pool room at the back and slowly walked onto the water.

A giggle escaped his lips as he spun around like a child and looking up into the sparkling night sky. He thanked kami for his chakra still being usable and not taken away from him or else he didn’t know what he’d do…and Kyuubi of course.

“Having fun kit?” the fox laughed with a teasing voice making Naruto pout which was quickly replaced with a grin.

“Of course! This place rules! Just wish everyone could see this place for themselves…” he trailed off looking down into the clear pool water below. Kyuubi sighed softly but smiled at his kit when suddenly an idea hit him.

“Have you ever thought to try and summon one of those frogs of yours to send a message back and forth to Konoha?” he asked. It was worth a try and those frogs can technically be summoned from anywhere. Naruto looked thoughtful for a moment before he broke out into a huge blinding grin.

“That’s an awesome idea! Why didn’t I think of that before?” he wondered aloud.

Kyuubi snorted, “Because you’re an insignificant human while I am the all powerful Kyuubi no Kitsune! Muwahahaha!” the fox laughed sarcastically making Naruto chuckled.

“Sure you are Kyuubi-Sama.” Naruto mocked spinning around on the water, kicking it up here and there playfully.

Kyuubi growled, “Watch it kit! Just because I can’t beat you to a near death physically I can sure as hell give you one monstrous migraine for a week that’ll feel like your head is splitting.” He threatened making Naruto gulp audibly.

“Uhh no thanks I like my head feeling normal thank you very much!” he hurried as he walked off the water to leave the area since he was starting to sweat from the humidity.

“Since when is your head normal?” Kyuubi asked innocently making the blond scowl.

“Stupid, fuzz butt, fox that actually looks like a giant bunny...” he grumbled lowly to himself, but sadly for him Kyuubi caught it and a twitch developed above Kyuubi’s eye at the comment and began to slowly form a migraine causing the blond to yelp out loud as punishment.

“OW, okay, okay! Sorry you’re not a stupid, fuzz butt, fox that actually looks like a giant bunny!” he apologized quickly making the fox snort in response, making the migraine slowly slip away much to the blond’s relief.

Taking to the deck in a shady part of it Naruto looked towards the city looking for the forest that lay just left to him of the city making him grin.

‘Time to head out!’ he cheered within his mind. Leaping off, he headed towards the murky waters below only to land in a graceful crouch and running off as a dark, blond blur to the forest.

Taking no time at all Naruto soon arrived at the forest, bordering on the city’s outskirts, and walked into the less than dense forest making himself familiar with his surroundings. After a good distance in Kyuubi had Naruto stop so he could teach Naruto the proper hand signs to make for what he was about to do in a large clearing ahead of them.

Just like Yamato’s wood jutsus Kyuubi showed Naruto how to make a house with a wood technique.

“Mokuton: Shichūka no Jutsu!” (Wood Release: Four Pillars House Technique!) Naruto yelled out releasing a fair amount of chakra. Suddenly a grand house with two floors rose from the earth similar to the ones back home in his Konoha.

Panting slightly Naruto smiled a sad smile knowing it was going to be like this for a long time. Seeing things that will remind him of his Konoha making him homesick like he is already…almost.

The building had a large kitchen, dining room, a large dojo for Naruto to train in that led to the outside garden, came with the jutsu, a living room, a meditation room, a storage room that was sealed so only Naruto could enter, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, connected to two of the five bedrooms, a outdoor bath, and some other rooms that are changeable to fit the blond’s needs.

With a satisfactory nod he moved into the house after placing a weak genjutsu on it in case someone wanders upon the area by accident and set up chakra barriers that will flare, telling the blond if theres an intruder in the area.

Moving to the master bedroom he fell down onto his bed (A/N: yes the house comes with all the furniture you could get in the old Konoha.) and sighed.

Curling up under the covers without even changing he snuggled deeper into the soft blankets slowly succumbing to a quiet slumber after today’s excitement and exhaustion finally taking its toll on him.

As he fell deeply asleep he never noticed the way Kyuubi started to start gasping quietly within the seal and fell in his human form sweating greatly. His crimson eyes glazed over and watched as the seal glow and slowly begin to change its form…soaking into the walls around it.

‘Shit…’

As morning came Naruto awoke probably around four or five and began planning his day ahead. Stretching lazily, Naruto yawned and rubbed his balled fist at his eyes. He felt Kyuubi sleeping within his mind and decided to let the fox sleep.

With nothing really planned till the fox woke up Naruto decided to go out into the city to look around and get some more clothes since all he had were his jumpsuit still and the outfit he bought the other day on the ship and some extra clothing in a scroll in case he was out on a mission and his clothing were destroyed.

Getting up he walked over to the bathroom and started up the shower. He undressed and stepped in, shivering from the sudden change in temperature, and leaned his forehead against the wall, letting the warm water rain down over his tense shoulders, slowly relaxing them making him moan softly in appreciation.

After showering and cleaning up he dressed in a plain black t-shirt and putting on the jeans from yesterday since they weren’t dirty still and sneakers. He still had on the necklace from Tsunade and choker just minus the fingerless gloves this time.

After setting up special precautions out of habit around the house and locking it and bringing his frog purse that was a little bit bigger than normal and the rest sealed in a carefully hidden scroll stored on his persona and the cell phone he had just gotten he made his way towards the city, grinning like a mad man.

Day 2 after being sent to the modern, ninja free Konoha commence!

Somewhere deep within the boundaries of the city Konoha a familiar red head sighed loudly within the confines of a large building. Looking over the stacks of files in front of him teal eyes eyed the ever present files of all blond haired, blue eyed civilians living within Konoha borders.

He had gotten through a quarter of the files yet it seemed just as big as it was when he had just started. He growled and threw another file onto the other growing pile of dismissed folders after looking at the people shown within.

‘Damnit!’ he had been going through all these files since last night after heading back to headquarters and still no findings on that mysterious blond haired man who saved him. Releasing another sigh for what seemed like the hundredth time, which it probably was, he moved from his seat to go get some coffee to ease his tired state and maybe get some help with this dilemma.

Supposedly, to everyone who saw or heard about him, he never had to ask for help or needed to for that matter which was slightly true. But this was something he would need maybe a whole team to check into since it would take forever by himself.

Heading outside and toward the café a couple blocks away he pulled out his cell and flipped it open calling someone he knew could find basically anyone he wanted to. Listening to the continual ring through the ear piece he walked through the doorway and into café ordering a regular cup of coffee just as a muffled ‘Hello?’ was heard turning the red head’s attention back to the phone.

“Hey it’s me” he greeted and heard an irritated sigh on the other line.

“What do I owe the pleasure of having you call so early in the fucking morning Shukaku?” the voice growled the last part sounding more harsh and different from the beginning voice. Gaara almost smirked at that and grabbed his coffee taking a sip and headed towards the door again.

“I need you to find someone. Can you do that for me Zetsu? And besides it’s almost noon anyway not morning.” he asked.

Zetsu was one of the best they had at finding information on almost everything and people. He had a weird combination of skin tones, one half was almost a pale, pale white and the other was a dark almost like a blackish color with odd yellow eyes. He had dyed his hair for some odd reason and had a split personality and tended to argue with himself.

“Fine! But you owe us big when this is over, got it?” Zetsu demanded. Gaara agreed and heard the sound of a computer starting up, “So what does he look like? Anything that’ll make him easily identifiable to find?”

Gaara thought back to their meeting trying to remember every small detail about that teen. He started with the basic and most obvious seen on him like the blond hair, rare cerulean blue orbs that sparkled, Zetsu laughed hard at Gaara when he said that making the red head blush, and just as he was about to speak again he heard a loud voice yelling in the distance distracting him.

Looking towards the moderately large crowed he noticed a familiar blond with, instead of warm sparkling blue eyes, cold icy blue eyes and whisker like marks on each cheek stood in the middle blocking a yelling and irate man from getting to a frail woman.

“Shukaku? Hey you there?” Zetsu questioned wondering why the man suddenly stopped talking. Gaara smirked and put the phone back to his ear and spoke in an amused voice shocking Zetsu who never heard the man talk like that.

“Never mind Zetsu…I found the target.”

After entering the city Naruto had been looking in and out of stores taking in all the new sites, sounds and smells. He felt like a kid getting a new toy or going on an adventure when he realized he technically was on an adventure in this new place making him grin.

Kyuubi was still asleep which worried the blond since the fox was normally up around this time but dismissed the thought of it being from sent here.

He was so distracted by everything he almost didn’t see the woman passing him only to trip suddenly. His arm reached out behind him on reflex and caught her pulling her up and into his chest to help steady her.

“Are you okay?” he asked looking down and stiffened. The woman’s head turned up and black with a bluish tinted bangs moved to reveal soft lilac eyes that made her look like she was blind.

“I- I’m sor- sorry! I sho- should h- have been w- watching where I- I was g- going!” she stuttered making Naruto smile. She blushed at seeing the brilliant smile on his face and turned her head away quickly and backed away slightly playing with her fingers.

“It’s alright. You should be more careful next time, ne?” he grinned watching her stutter and mumble things, “Well see ya!” he said almost about to turn and leave when a hand caught his wrist making him stop and look to see Hinata clutching it tightly blushing but looking him in the eyes with gratitude.

“Please l- let m- me at least th- thank you by b- buying you lunch o- or something a- at least.” She pleaded wanting to thank him properly and maybe get to know him better. Naruto smiled and took her hand in his, the one Hinata was holding, turning to face her.

“I’ll be honored to have lunch with someone as fine as you.” He joked pulling her hand up to his lips and kissed the back of her slender hand keeping eye contact and chuckled seeing her blush intensify.

She led the way to a small restaurant that she told him served the best pancakes in the world, in her opinion, and was stunned to know Naruto had never heard of pancakes before. As they walked to their destination Hinata slowly began warming up to Naruto and started to get out of stuttering around him which Naruto was glad for.

They were right in front of the place when a man suddenly bumped into Hinata roughly almost shoving her to the ground had Naruto not catch her in time. She was going to thank him again when she saw the intense look in his eyes as he looked at the man.

“Na- Naruto-Kun?”

“Hey you bastard! Apologize to Hinata-Chan for shoving her like that!” he yelled gaining the man’s attention who simply sneered.

“Why should I brat? In fact, she should be the one for not looking at where she was going.” He spoke looking very haughty at the moment thinking they were nothing. Naruto glared at the man before turning away with Hinata before speaking out loud, deliberately for the man to hear.

“That’s right I forgot pompous idiots don’t know proper manners.” He sighed, “Such a sad thing. So many ignorant and foolish people living here.” Naruto spoke with a mockingly depressed voice. The man was red faced from being humiliated like that as he heard some people passing by giggling and agreeing with the blond.

“What was that you brat!?” he yelled drawing more attention to them than necessary making the blond look around worried that this could quickly turn ugly.

“Come on Hinata-Chan we don’t need to deal with idiots like him.” He told her and began pulling her away.

The man growled and threw a punch in the blond’s direction directed for the back of his skull when suddenly a hand grabbed his fist and his brown eyes widened at seeing blue eyes glaring at him with such ferocious intensity that he suddenly felt fear creep into his veins making his blood run cold.

He waited for the blond to retaliate and hit him back but was shocked to see his hand released and the pair leave into the restaurant leaving him behind. A single question kept ringing through his head as he walked away from the spot in a dazed confusion.

“That kid…his eyes seemed to turn red for a moment…”

Gaara smirked as he watched the man walked away after getting humiliated like that. The blond was good he had to give him that. Waiting outside on the other side of the road for his target he watched as the blond and that girl he was with laughed in a booth by the window where he had a good view of them.

Inside Naruto and Hinata were chatting up a storm laughing and joking around. Hinata had arranged for them to meet up again sometime after a while to come meet her friends. Naruto was surprised by her offer and had agreed with a huge smile wondering if she meant the rest of rookie nine.

Now that he thought about it he wondered if her family was different from the Hyuuga clan in the other Konoha.

“Hey Hinata what’s your family like?” he wondered and noticed how her body stiffened and frowned. Her family probably was the same as it was in his world, “Sorry you don’t need to answer that. I was just being nosey. Sorry…” he trailed off looking down at his plate.

“I- It’s alright Naruto-Kun…their just…not the warmest people in the world. You know?” she chuckled. He smiled softly and nodded.

“Yeah I guess…” looking at the time he frowned. Kyuubi was still asleep what’s going on? Hinata looked at Naruto and watched as he glanced at the clock worriedly. She chuckled softly.

“Naruto-Kun” he turned back to her and she smiled softly, “If you have something you need to go to I don’t mind you leaving.” She motioned to him as though to get going and stood. Naruto stood as well and gave her a thankful smile and a light hug making her blush before pulling away.

“Thanks Hinata-Chan.” And rushed off hoping to find a vacant area to try and talk to Kyuubi peacefully. Too worried about his furry friend he never noticed the watchful teal eyes following after him as he left the restaurant.

Entering a large park Naruto headed for the forest to the side finally noticing someone following him.

The person was doing quite well for not being trained in the way of shinobi but they weren’t that quiet and even though everyone in the world aside from him had basically no chakra they were still easily detectable after getting used to focusing on them.

Leaping into a large tree Naruto quickly hid in the shadows of the branches above and waited for the person following after him. To his surprise Gaara showed up but stayed put in the trees and waited for him to leave.

After making sure he was gone he relaxed against the tree and hid with a genjutsu and as his blue eyes closed he opened his inner eyes within his mind and searched for Kyuubi.

Entering through the hallway that led to Kyuubi he felt a grave disturbance and raced in. It was a long time since the scenery had been changed from a dumpy sewer to an open and beautiful field with a forest on the borders.

At the center of the field filled with an assortment of flowers and plants was a large tree taller than all the other and wider. It was almost like a willow tree by how the branches sort of hanged down and at the base Naruto spotted a patch of red recognizing it as Kyuubi in his humanoid form.

“Kyuubi!” he yelled out rushing toward the demon and kneeled at his side with wide blue eyes.

Kyuubi was sweating greatly and was pale. He gasped in pain every so often turning from side to side in slow motions. He watched as pained crimson eyes opened and observed him through the haze of discomfort.

“Kyuu” Naruto began not knowing what to say and swallowed the lump in his throat as he looked at the great demon who was literally withering away it seemed like.

“Kit” Kyuubi whispered watching as confusion swept through deep sapphire orbs.

“What’s going on? How come you’re in so much pain?” Naruto asked wondering what was causing the red head so much anguish. Kyuubi chuckled a pain filled laugh and sighed looking back up at the branches high above them.

“Kit…somehow since the jutsu that sent us here something has been causing my chakra and essence become absorbed by your own” the fox answered and watched as Naruto look down at him with worry.

“You mean…we’re merging?” the blond asked incredulously. There was no way that was possible! Was it? Kyuubi moved carefully to a sitting position and looked Naruto in the eyes and lifted a hand to cup a tanned cheek.

“Yes and the process will become very painful.” The fox informed, “You’ll probably only start feeling the effects in a few moments so I suggest you get your butt home quickly before you pass out for a couple days, got it?” Naruto nodded and left his mindscape.

Opening his eyes he started feeling hotter than normal and his limbs starting to feel heavier than usual and gasped as a small wave of pain washed over him.

Jumping down he began running a few feet before black spots started corrupting his vision and he stopped abruptly and fell to a knee holding a hand to his head panting.

His eyes began to glaze over and heard the snap of a twig and noticed someone was standing in front of him but didn’t have enough energy to look up and blacked out.
