I'm so glad you thought so. This was a gift fic for a friend of mine (the owner of Shimo) and i was so nervous to write him. Warm and fuzzies were just what i was going for! That little bit with Iruka was a must, you know he'd find some way to celebrate his son's b'day too. ^^
I might do another one-shot with Shimo in it, if i'm allowed. XD

Kita is such a wonderful author, and i'm so glad she lets me play with her characters. ^^ After i wrote this she added the tradition (and story!) to Mission's Gift canon and then write a little drabble about the first time they set free fireflies. Have you read it?
