Well here is part 2, only one part left! *dances*
-------
Minato threw his keys on the small table in the hallway. He'd made it in time, with ten minutes to spare. He walked further into the house and headed toward the kitchen, hoping to catch his son and his boyfriend--surmising the youngest Uchiha was present since his car was in the driveway--catching a last minute snack. He peeked around the doorway but the room was empty. He shrugged and turned down the hallway, heading towards the living room. Maybe they were watching television?
He stuck his head around the corner, prepared to surprise to the two unsuspecting teenagers. The room was dim and the television was turned off. He frowned. Where the hell were they? He knew they were home as both of their cars were still in the driveway. Besides, they had to be at the school soon, and he knew Sasuke would have his son dressed and ready to go hours beforehand. He stepped quickly into the game room to see if they were there having one of their crazy competitions.
When he discovered that room was also empty, his stomach dropped. They weren't anywhere downstairs, and that meant one thing. They were upstairs. He swallowed as the only room he knew they were interested in was Naruto's bedroom. He hesitated at the foot of the stairs, waiting for a few moments, hoping that the two would run down the stairs soon.
As precious minutes ticked by, he knew he couldn't wait any longer, otherwise they would be late, and he would be faced with a very young, but oddly effective, Uchiha glare. He groaned as he slowly made his way up the stairs, cursing his luck.
He was still traumatized from catching them a few months before when he walked up into Naruto's room without knocking. There was a lot of wide eyed screeching, high pitched cursing, and naked scrambling.
He shuddered at the memory.
He was finally okay with the whole 'boyfriends' thing, which he found out a few weeks before 'the incident" when he'd been unlucky enough to walk in on his son and his son's best friend kissing on the couch. Though he finally adjusted to the new stage of their relationship, it never occurred to him that they would want to, or even be ready to...
He shuddered again.
After a few days of extreme awkwardness, uncomfortable silences and both Namikazes unable to look each other in the eye, Minato decided that he was not going to let this put a strain on his relationship with his son any longer. Naruto was nearly all he had left.
He caught Naruto, who had taken to going directly to his room when he returned home, one day and sat him down for a long, and unfortunately, detailed talk. Though he was disappointed to find out they had been together for a lot longer than he had thought, they were still fairly new to the "activities" that he'd been unfortunate enough to walk in on. And as luck -- insert eye roll -- would have it, he was the only one who knew about them.
But he was happy that he had his relationship with his son back.
He groaned as he reached Naruto's door. Just because he knew about it, however, didn't mean that he wanted to.
Though, it was better him than Fugaku.
Once he made it to Naruto's door, he leaned in to listen for any... noises. He'd learned to do this the hard way. Long gone were the days when he could burst carefree into his son's room. When he heard nothing, he brought a tentative fist to the door and knocked softly. After a few moments with no answer, his face grew sullen. He knew what he had to do.
One hand reached for the doorknob while the other went to his face and covered his eyes.
He'd learned from past experiences to always enter his son's room in that fashion. Pushing the door open he was able to hear the soft snoring that he knew belonged to Naruto. He cleared his throat and spoke softly.
"Boys, c'mon, get up; we're going to be late."
Sasuke jolted upright, forgetting his state of undress as the prospect of being late sunk into his mind. Shit! He couldn't be late! He was the goddamn valedictorian!
He looked down at Naruto who was still sleep with the sky blue tie hanging limply around his neck. It was all that idiot's fault! He pushed him out of the bed, so that he fell on the floor with a muffled thump.
"Ow, you bastard!" Naruto grumbled as he sat up, sheets pooling around his waist as he rubbed the sore spot on his head. "What the hell?"
He squinted over at Sasuke who was scrambling around, picking up his socks from the floor, before he went over to the desk to hastily pull on his folded clothes.
"Hurry up and get dressed, you idiot! We're going to be late!"
"But my dad--"
"He's the one who woke us up. Now come on!"
Naruto groaned and fell back on to the floor. He really didn't want to go through that again. Why didn't he ask for a lock for his door after the first time? In fact why hadn't his father suggested it? He quickly snapped out of it as Sasuke threw his shirt in his face.
"Okay, okay... geez..." he mumbled as he loosened the tie around his neck so he would be able to slip it over his shirt before shoving his arms into the sleeves. "You're an asshole."
"Hurry up!" Sasuke yelled as he ran out of the room and down the stairs.

"--class valedictorian, Sasuke Uchiha." The principal turned toward the boy who stood up confidently and made his way to the podium.
This was finally his moment. He'd practiced countless times in numerous mirrors. This was what he worked for.
He stacked his note cards neatly and looked into the crowd that contained the hopeful faces of his class. He opened his mouth to speak... and his mind went blank. Every word, every joke, every intricately place anecdote, every well researched inspirational quote flew out the window.
Glancing down at his cards didn't help as every word became an illegible mass of patterned squiggles. He cleared his throat as he scrambled to remember anything, any key syllable that would trigger a word flow that would break the dam.
But he couldn't remember anything.
Although this all happened within a few panic-filled seconds, it felt like an eternity to him. He searched frantically through the faces of the crowd, hoping that no one would notice that he was stalling.
Then there, in the very back row, was a tan hand displayed high in the air, giving him the finger.
That idiot.
He suppressed the scowl that threatened to form, though to his amazement, he relaxed. Suddenly the words started forming coherent sentences in his head, and he began to speak.
Sasuke mentally went through the list of key points to make when making a graduation speech. He had done a lot of research on how to make the perfect speech.
First, The introduction: "Good afternoon, Class of..." As he rattled on a greeting to all the attendees, he thought about the next step.
Then, The body: in which one discusses the past, present, and future. "Many of us met thirteen years ago..."
As he spoke he remembered tearing up Naruto's finger painting picture when they were five because he supposedly got blue paint in Sasuke's hair. He'd really been mad because Naruto had been planning on giving the picture to Sakura. He remembered that they both got a time out for one of the most epic battles in Konoha Elementary kindergarten history. By the end, both had been very messy, their hair and skin splashed in vibrant Technicolor.
That was the first of many times where Naruto would stick his tongue out at him from across the room in school. Of course, now, Naruto just flipped him the bird. He almost smirked as he thought about the many times that action would lead to arguments, fights and then making up.
But they wouldn't be able to do that anymore.
He felt a lump rise in his throat and grow by the second. Tomorrow, he would be off with his family for two months, and when they returned, he would be back just in time to see the blond for two days before Naruto moved.
He squeezed his fist to keep himself focused on his speech.
Finally he had come to the conclusion:summarizing the key points made in the body of the speech. It was now nearly impossible to swallow around the lump in his throat. He told himself to keep moving forward.
He focused on sweeping his eyes through the crowd, looking at his peers who looked on with equal parts of fear, eagerness and anticipation in their eyes. He had to tell them something meaningful, something to give them confidence and to lift their waning spirits. Here he would give them hope and encouragement wrapped in final words of wisdom.
"We grew up together, and now it is time for us to grow up apart. We have become intertwined in one another and as a result, will forever carry pieces of each other. We have made lasting and important friendships here, met people who not only touched our hearts but imprinted themselves into our souls. We have changed and influenced one another, and through our experiences together, we have become stronger. I know that we all carry the skills to learn, to succeed and to make a difference in our society. When we part ways here today, we will not be alone but always together, maybe not physically but with each other, supporting and giving strength. We will be the type of people that can shape a better future..."
His last words needed to act as an anchor. They needed to hold a person in place and give them a feeling of safety and confidence. With that thought in mind, his eyes immediately settled on to one pair as he continued, "We received an education in life from one another and have been through a lot together, but we have become stronger for it. Together, we have helped each other become better, to become complete," he paused to take a breath, "and I love you for that." That certainly caught more attention, everyone's eyes glued to the teen at the podium, but he didn't notice nor care as he kept his eyes on one person.
"This is not the end but a new beginning, and I am confident in our strength, tenacity and grace. We, in this class, were given one short precious life, and I ask, what will you do with yours? In a world thrust in so much turmoil, we, here in this venue, have the ability to go beyond expectations and make the world a better place. We are the class of 2008. Intelligent, tough and ready take on anything the world throws our way."
As he concluded his speech, he ignored the whistles, cheers and applause. Instead, he kept his eyes settled on a pair of wide blue eyes staring straight back at him.

The courtyard was crowded and buzzing with noise. Students clung to each other and cried, and parents clung to their students and cried along with them. There were promises to make plans over the summer and to keep in touch, while others were working out ways to become roommates.
Sasuke rolled his eyes at his mother as she suckered in another teacher to take the millionth picture of him and his family. His eyes wandered over the heads in the crowd, seeking out one tall blond, while his mother sniffled at his side. He caught his blond being sandwiched between a whimpering Sakura and Ino, while he tried his best to comfort them both.
Naruto shot a helpless glance toward a grinning Lee and Chouji as the girls tears began to soak through his dress shirt, and seeing as he left his undershirt at home--his cheeks colored at that thought--he could feel his shirt clinging to his skin. He pouted when he realized that the boys were in no mood to help him. He quickly searched out a way to escape, and, scanning the crowd, he found one.
"Shikamaru!!!" he yelled at the boy who was halfway toward the Sabaku siblings. His eyes darted away from Temari who was straightening her scowling little brother's tie as Kankuro persuaded a passerby to take a picture of them. He saw Naruto being squashed by Ino and Sakura and shook his head, silently asking Naruto to be quiet. He avoided Ino all day, and he didn't want--
"Shika!" Ino wailed as she zeroed her eyes in on her long time friend. She detached herself from Naruto and grabbed her best friend's hand, pulling her along as they headed toward the lazy salutatorian who seemed to be drifting further away from them.
Naruto snickered as he watched the girls stalk, then pounce, on the frowning boy. Hey, better Shikamaru than himself. He jolted forward as someone hit him on the back and pulled him into a tight embrace. After struggling to pull back he noticed the familiar, oddly identical features of his father.
"I'm proud of you, boy." Minato pulled back and smiled at his son.
"By the way, I have an additional graduation gift."
"Oh yeah?"
"You're getting a lock for your door."
"I love you, dad."
They both laughed a bit before he took a moment to really take a look at his only child. He was so proud of Naruto.
"Your mom and grandpa would be proud too." He watched as a sad smile graced Naruto's features.
"Yeah, I hope so," he stated solemnly as he looked to the ground.
Minato placed a heavy hand on Naruto's shoulders and squeezed it firmly. "Of cours--"
"Of course they would, you brat." He was interrupted as Tsunade squeezed her way through and pulled Naruto down into a tight bear hug.
"Ack! Grandma, you're killin' me!" Naruto shrieked, sounding a bit like a little boy as he tugged at Tsunade's arms, which were way too tight around his neck.
She pulled back and cuffed him softly on the head. "Stop being a baby." She smiled gently as she watched him rub at his neck with a pout while mumbling, "I'm not being a baby, ya old hag."
She smacked him in the forehead for that comment and smiled as he screeched, "Ouch!" and began to rub against the abused spot. He picked up too many bad habits from his grandfather.
As Tsunade dragged her two boys together for a family photo, Naruto took a quick scan of the crowd. This was the last time everyone would be together like this. He felt sadness pull at his heart momentarily before he squashed it. They had been friends since he could remember; they would all keep in touch.
He felt a tug at his conscious, and his eyes turned to look into dark brown ones staring back at him. Everything seemed to freeze. Just looking at Sasuke was overwhelming. His cheeks colored as he remembered Sasuke's speech. He couldn't believe that Sasuke had said those words... Maybe he was imagining things, and it was just part of Sasuke's speech... No. He wasn't that dense. Sasuke had been looking straight at him when he said it, and Sasuke always did things with a purpose. He quickly turned his head around when Tsunade poked him in the side and grumbled, "Turn forward, brat."
Sasuke frowned when Naruto finally looked at him only to blush and quickly turn away. He hoped that something didn't change between the two of them because of what he said.

Everyone piled into the back of the large stretch Escalade. The two Namikazes and the four Uchihas chatted amongst themselves like the long time friends they were. There were questions concerning Itachi's business plans, college scholarships, empty nest syndrome and the upcoming trip to Europe.
"I'm going to be so sad when my baby's gone," Mikoto pouted as she scooted over to embrace Sasuke. He sighed as he slung an arm around her and pulled her closer.
"Eh? Miss him?" Minato began as he turned toward his son. "You're not planning on coming back are you, Blondie? Cause I have plans for that room," he ended with a wide grin.
"I already bought a hat and guitar for pandering," Naruto shrugged as his own grin pulled across his face.
"That's my boy," Minato laughed as he ruffled his son's hair.
Everyone got in a good laugh before Mikoto spoke once again. "I'm really going to miss you," she sighed as she squeezed Sasuke tighter.
"I'm not going right now, mother. You're getting so emotional," Sasuke chided softly.
"Speaking of emotional," Itachi's cool smug voice interrupted. "That was an emotional speech you gave little brother. I had not realized you cared so deeply for your... class."
Though he couldn't see the smug bastard, he just knew there was a smirk on his asshole face. Sasuke paled at the thought of his family hearing his thinly veiled love confession and grew a shade lighter at the knowledge that his brother saw it for what it was. He hoped the car was dark enough to hide his face.
"Oh, it was so beautiful; I couldn't hold back my tears," his mother cooed, her voce wavering.
"Yes, son, that was quite an interesting speech. Very different from when Itachi gave his..."
Sasuke tuned out the rest of his father's sentence, whether it was good or bad, he didn't care. He wanted to kill his damn brother.
Unable to stop himself, his eyes shot to Naruto whose own gaze was transfixed on the scenery whipping past the vehicle's window, his face unreadable.
Sasuke frowned. Naruto was usually like an open book. But now he couldn't tell what the blond was thinking. The rest of the ride was a blur as Sasuke kept stealing quick glances at Naruto whose eyes never left the window.

Dinner was an intimate and celebratory affair. Half of the restaurant was closed off to accommodate the VIPs, giving the politician's and army general's families' privacy and security.
Chatter around the table consisted of many fond memories and high expectations for the future. There was the occasional wince, awkward silence, strained smile and uncomfortable cough from Minato, Naruto, or Sasuke every time Fugaku would mention Sasuke's future family. Other than that, everything was picture perfect, except for the fact that Naruto had yet to acknowledge Sasuke. Of course there was superficial conversation between them here and there, but he didn't really look at Sasuke. At least not how he usually looked at Sasuke, and it was pissing the brunet off.
Sasuke sat with his hands under the table, clutching his black linen napkin. Why was Naruto acting so weird? Was it because he finally said he loved him? Naruto had to know that he did. Although... When he thought about it, Naruto hadn't said it lately. His stomach dropped at the thought. He used to say it all the time. In fact, Naruto's love confession had prompted their first real kiss.
They had been playing Halo 2 that day... Well, Sasuke was playing; he didn't know what Naruto was doing. The blond seemed to be in his own world, staring off into space, making Sasuke work twice as hard as he not only had to make sure he didn't die, but his teammate stayed alive as well.
Sasuke elbowed Naruto in the side. "Hey, dumbass, what's wrong with you? Pay attention to the fricken game! I don't want to keep saving your stupid ass!"
Naruto nodded absently as he refocused on the screen, his grip tightening around the controller.
Sasuke stared at him in shock. That had been...easy. He had expected a bit of a fight and was already prepared for a blow or at least some yelling. He gave Naruto one more skeptical look before he shrugged and got back into the game. If there was something wrong, Naruto would tell him.
Not a moment later, Naruto was shot.
"Damn it, Naruto! What the hell?" Sasuke asked, annoyed.
Naruto turned unreadable eyes toward Sasuke, making him stop mid-tirade. He raised an eyebrow at Naruto's odd behavior.
"Sasuke...we're best friends right? We can tell each other everything?"
"Yes, we're practically related. Yes, we can tell each other everything, though I usually advise against it," he smirked, trying to lighten the mood.
"Well...I gotta tell you something that you might not like." Naruto took a deep breath. "And-and you might not want to be friends with me anymore, but I gotta say something."
Something he might not like? No longer friends? Externally, Sasuke was cool, but internally, panic seized every part of his body. Had Naruto figured out that Sasuke had a crush on him and was now too weirded out? He wasn't sure what life would be like without the blond, but he knew he didn't want to find out.
"Naruto" he began cautiously, trying to keep the fear from his voice, "maybe you don't have to tell-"
"Sasuke, you are my best friend, even better than Kiba." He stopped to swallow and steel his nerves, deciding to blurt everything out in one go. "And I love you, but not in like a best friend/brother way like I thought but in a I'm in love you with you sort of way. 'Cause when we wrestle and fight and stuff, I can't help but think about how I want to, " his cheeks turned a vibrant red, "touch you and stuff. Not hurt you or anything...okay, well, sometimes, but I wanna know what it feels like to touch your skin or your hair or-" The rest of the words were cut off when Sasuke dropped his game controller and pressed his lips tightly against Naruto's slightly chapped ones.
Ever since then, Naruto had told him that he loved him almost every time they were together. Maybe he was so used to Sasuke saying "I know" and "Hn" that he just gave up and no longer felt the same way. Maybe now he was just with Sasuke because of the sex.
It would be easier for Sasuke to tell if Naruto hadn't been avoiding him all damn night. He growled when Naruto laughed at something Itachi said. Gods, that laugh was so fake. The smile was fake; everything was fake. What the hell was wrong with Naruto?
Just when his frustration reached a boiling point, and he felt that he either twisted his napkin into an unrecognized crumpled mass or an elaborate origami masterpiece, Sasuke threw the napkin to the floor and abruptly shot up from the table.
Three pairs of rich dark and one pair of brilliant blue darted toward the teen at his sudden movement. Sasuke at least had the decency to look embarrassed.
"Excuse me," he began in a tight voice. "I have to go to the restroom." After he threw a covert, yet extremely nasty glance to the only person whose eyes weren't trained on his standing figure--which only served to infuriate him more--he turned sharply on his heel and headed to the bathroom.
---------------------------------------------------@-----------------------------------------------
He threw the door open in a definite not-tantrum and quickly scanned the room for any other occupants. When he found he was alone, he took his pent up anger out on one of the stall doors with a well aimed punch, causing it to swing violently and squeak on the hinges. There was a small 'eep' as a short, middle-aged bald man standing in the bathroom entrance quickly turned around and scuttled back out, opting to hold it in until he returned home.
Sasuke glared at the restroom door, daring someone else to walk in before his attention was drawn to his throbbing knuckles. He frowned as he stalked over to the sink and turned on the cold water full blast. He cursed bathrooms, bathroom stalls and bathroom stall doors. And on top of it all, he cursed idiotic blonds.
He wished he could take it all back and tell the blond that he hadn't meant any of it, but that would be a lie. He had felt something for the idiot ever since he could remember, all the way back since they were three years old...
Naruto's bright blue eyes were peeking out from behind the long red curtain of his mother's hair. Sasuke, very uninterested at the moment, was about to turn around and look for his brother when the small blond smiled at him as he stepped forward slowly. He was so bright. Sasuke felt as if he was blinded by the sun.
"Hi," the mini sun began. "My name's Na'to!" He stuck out a plump hand and smiled so happily that Sasuke wanted to squint his eyes.
He stepped forward cautiously with the help of his mother's gentle hand. A small pale arm reached out and poked the slightly shorter child in the nose.
"Ow!" the younger boy whined as he covered his nose and pouted at the new, weird boy. "Why you poke me in a nose?" the blond questioned nasally through chubby fingers. Kushina smiled softly and placed a gentle hand on Naruto's soft hair.
"How'd you do that?" Sasuke questioned, immensely fascinated with the little boy who just seemed to glow.
"What?" Naruto asked as he decided to grab on to his mother's pant leg, prepared to tug at any other sign of assault from the strange brunet.
"How'd you bring the outside to the inside?" Mikoto and Kushina looked at each other and smiled, desperately trying not to squeal and coo at their sons.
Naruto stared at the yet to be identified brunet, confusion clearly plaguing his features. "What?" His brows crumbled as he tried to understand what the other boy was talking about. He did no such thing. "No I di'n't." His large clear eyes searched the room, looking for a speck of dirt. It was true that he'd been playing outside a little while ago, but his mommy made sure he had a bath before he came. He wasn't dirty, and he didn't bring the mess from outside into the house.
Sasuke frowned. That kid was lying; he made it just as bright and sunny inside as it was outside. "Uh-huh!" he defended vehemently. Obviously this new kid was not as smart as he was.
"No!" Naruto shouted before he stuck out his tongue and buried his face into his mother's leg. That boy was obviously mistaken. Why would he tell such a story about him while his mommy was there? He turned wide blue eyes and a jutted bottom lip up to his mother's smiling face. "I no bring outside inside, mommy. I wanna go now." He reached his hands up indicating that this meeting was over, and he was ready to leave.
Kushina bent down, hoisted him up and set him on her hip, her long hair swinging to the side as she settled him into position. Naruto wrapped his arms around his mother's neck as she began talking to a dark haired woman who was stroking the little liar's hair. Naruto narrowed his eyes at the dark ones that stared back at him before they narrowed in return. He retaliated by sticking his tongue out as his mom moved past to leave the room. The dark hair boy crumpled his eyebrows in an attempt to intensify his glare--a rookie mistake, but he had years of preening ahead of him to perfect his Uchiha glare.
Sasuke watched as his little sunshine left the room, making everything around him seem to dim. Though he should have been happy that the stupid boy who brought the outside inside was gone, he couldn't help feeling like he was about to cry. But he wouldn't...
His lip trembled as he buried his face into his mother's leg, wetting the fabric of her skirt as tears leaked silently from his eyes.
It wasn't until he was twelve that he realized that he could possibly label his feelings for the blond with the infamous L-word. The doofus was running late for class and was barreling down the hall at lightening speed. Of course, he had to leave his book in his locker, and of course, Sasuke, who had a pass, was just closing his. Unable to temper his momentum in time, Naruto tripped on his loose shoelace and fell right on top of his best friend, their lips smashed together milliseconds before their foreheads banged harshly.
The throbbing nauseous pain in Sasuke's head greatly paled in comparison to the incessant pleasant tingling in his busted lips.
He was jolted from his thoughts as he heard the door squeak timidly while he tenderly stroked his knuckles under the water. He glared at his reddened skin and frowned when he heard the soft shuffle of footsteps continuing further into the bathroom. If it was that man again, he was going to kick his ass!
He jerked his head up and looked in the mirror to see behind him, fully intent on giving the man a reflected, yet effective glare. His heart stopped momentarily when his eyes stared straight into clear deep blue staring right back at him. He faltered, if only for a moment, as he was caught in the intensity of those eyes.
He frowned as he pulled his hand out of the water shaking off the excess drops and balling it into a ready fist. Screw the pain; he was going to kill the teen standing behind him.
He turned around quickly, hand cocked and ready to strike. "You assho-" the rest of his sentence was promptly cut off when he felt soft warm lips press into his own.
Naruto stepped closer and placed gentle hands on either side of Sasuke's face as he pressed their lips together a little harder.
Sasuke opened his mouth to yell at the idiot but Naruto took that chance to slip his tongue into the brunet's mouth. Sasuke fought the moan that so desperately fought to escape when their tongues touched before he brought his hands up to broad shoulders and pushed Naruto away roughly.
"The hell, Naruto?" he yelled incredulously as he stared at the blond who was just looking at him. Really looking at him. The way he had wanted him to look at him all night.
But now he wanted to fidget. He changed his mind about wanting Naruto to look at him. He had forgotten those eyes could see right through him, could strip him bare. His defenses, no matter how hard he tried to prevent it, crumbled like brittle ancient parchment in the hands of a rambunctious three year old.
"I love you, Sasuke," Naruto whispered in a voice so completely serious that it made Sasuke take an unconscious step back, his ass softly bumping into the edge of the counter.
Naruto stepped impossibly close, blue eyes roving all over Sasuke's face. The brunet felt the need to cover himself up as he felt entirely naked and raw. He wanted to hurt Naruto so badly and tell him what a gigantic idiot he was. All he needed to do was to reach forward and smash his face in. But he couldn't move. He couldn't speak. All he could do was stare at Naruto while he listened to the erratic beating of his own heart pounding furiously in his ears.
"I love you so much," Naruto whispered as he brought his hand up to tuck a dark strand of hair behind a pale ear. He leaned in slowly and softly placed his lips over Sasuke's, barely touching, just waiting for a reaction. When all he received was a hitch in breath, he gently pressed forward, applying a small amount of pressure, again waiting to see what Sasuke would do. When Sasuke finally pressed back, he lost all control and pushed his fingers into silky black, tilted Sasuke's head to the side and slipped his tongue into the warm inviting mouth.
Sasuke moaned uninhibitedly into the kiss as they languidly tasted one another. He always loved kissing Naruto, but there was something about this kiss that turned his usual fluttering butterflies into raging pterodactyls. His fisted his sore hand--hissing a bit as a result--into the bottom of Naruto's shirt and pulled him even closer. He leaned his weight onto the edge of the countertop and spread his legs so Naruto could mold snuggly to him.
When they pulled apart for air, Sasuke released the fabric from his tightly clenched fist, shook his hand loose and stretched his fingers. Naruto looked down and noticed the red swelling knuckles and carefully brought the hand to his lips.
"You moron," he mumbled softly, before placing a tender kiss on the bruised flesh. "You're gonna need ice for that." He kissed him again.
Sasuke was definitely not blushing even in the slightest because of Naruto's gentle treatment. And it most certainly did not numb the pain. And the only reason he didn't wrench his hand away immediately was because he was in shock... yeah.
Sasuke finally snatched his hand away and scowled as best he could while fighting down the heat in his cheeks. "That's your fault anyway, idiot."
"Eh?!" Naruto questioned eloquently as his hands settled on Sasuke's hips. "How is it my fault that you attacked--whatever you attacked--and got hurt?!"
"It was the stall door," Sasuke mumbled as he jerked his head toward the slightly mangled door.
Naruto turned his head to look at the dented aluminum and shook his head. "Ooo, Sasuke. You broke the potty."
"Moron."
"I still don't see how this is my fault."
"If you didn't act like a damn, mute zombie all night..." Sasuke trailed off as he realized that he was going to admit that Naruto's lack of a favorable reaction to his confession affected him so much.
"Well, what do you expect Sasuke? You said you loved me... in front of the entire class no less," Naruto finished with a sly grin as his thumbs began to rub slow circles onto Sasuke's hipbones.
If there was one thing he learned from a lifetime of Uchiha exposure was that Uchihas weren't prone to love confessions. Especially confessions made in front of hundreds of people--via microphone-- with the help of speakers. In fact, he believed the only time they used the word love was in the sentence: "I would love to close that deal with you as soon as possible."
Incidentally, he believed that was the exact sentence Sasuke used earlier that year when he proposed they take their relationship to the next level. Though Naruto knew he felt it, it was the first time that Sasuke came close to saying it.
"Hell, I was in shock. I'm always saying it and you never have."
"Not recently."
Naruto raised a questioning eyebrow. "Not recently what?"
Sasuke glared. Gods, Naruto was a fricken... He couldn't believe he was actually going to say it. He was glad they were alone.
"You haven't said...you know." Naruto continued to stare at him blankly. Sasuke rolled his eyes and gesticulated with his hands, hoping to get the point across more clearly. "You know... the love thing."
Naruto furrowed his eyes. "The love thing? Wha-oh! Oh..." He grinned sheepishly and scratched the back of his neck. "Well I don't know, I mean after a while it kinda sucked saying it to someone who didn't say it back. I knew you felt it, but it would've been nice to hear once and a while. I guess I thought that's how we would be. It just kinda bothered me a little after a while, it didn't hurt so bad if I didn't say it out loud and just thought it in my head." He cheeks colored at the end of his statement. Damn it, he wasn't good with words and expressing feelings and stuff. "But now that you said it out loud, we can tell each other all the time," he finished with a teasing grin.
Sasuke paled a bit at the thought as he crossed his arms and snorted. "What are you talking about? Didn't you hear Itachi? I don't love you, I care deeply for our class." Try as he might he couldn't keep the small smile off his face.
Naruto hummed absently as he nodded his head and leaned forward.
Sasuke let out a contented sigh as Naruto latched on to his neck. "Hey, just because you said it before me doesn't mean you felt it before me." Sasuke quickly shut his mouth as he realized what he just admitted.
Naruto pulled back from the pale neck and looked into cold--well they would be if they weren't so busy trying to hide the bubbling embarrassment--dark eyes as a small playful smirk tilted his lips.
"What are you saying, Sasuke?"
Sasuke turned his head to the side to glare at the beige tile that covered the wall by the sinks, trying to contain his embarrassment.
Naruto leaned forward until his forehead rested against Sasuke's temple, his warm breath washing over Sasuke's pale cheek. "Have you loved me forever?" Naruto asked slightly teasing, slightly hopeful.
Sasuke's eyes locked on to his and he gave Naruto a look that said 'I'm not explaining anything to an idiot like you.'
"I hate you."
Naruto smirked before he pressed his lips to Sasuke's. "Mmm, nope," he mumbled. "You love me."
"Yeah, but I don't know why," he smirked as he tangled his hand into silky blond hair and pressed forward.

Minato cursed all Uchihas and his luck as he made his way toward the back of the restaurant to the restrooms. He found it rather convenient that he was the one who drew the short straw-- well, lost at 'rock-paper-scissors' twice and 'eeny-meeny-miney-moe' once and was the last to say 'not it'.
He scoffed as he thought back to the recent bit of conversation.
"I hope they aren't fighting in there," Mikoto said before she nibbled her lip nervously and glanced worriedly at her husband.
"Let them work it out, dear. They've been best friends for years and had plenty of scrapes throughout, some of which you had to patch up yourself. They still get along just fine."
Itachi coughed into his glass of water while Minato stared at his plate. The food presentation was really interesting.
"Yes, but what if someone gets hurt?"
"They have enough common sense not to do anything physical in a public place."
Fugaku turned perplexed eyes over to Itachi who seemed to be having trouble drinking a simple glass of water.
"Is everything okay, son? You seem to be having difficulties." He made a mental note to have Itachi tested for narcotics.
Itachi straightened up and gave his father a blank stare while bringing his napkin up to dab at the corners of his mouth. "Yes, father, I'm fine."
Mikoto shot one last worried glace toward her eldest before imploring eyes darted in between Fugaku and Minato.
"They are taking a while," she started softly. "Do you remember that time I took them to see the Konoha Philharmonic? They'd been gone for fifteen minutes before security came to inform me that they had been escorted from the building. They were fighting in the restroom and damaged some property as well as assaulted a security guard."
Everyone shot a pointed glance to Minato who flushed an embarrassed pink and glanced back down at his plate. He grinned sheepishly. "Well, in his defense, he said it was an accident..." He shrugged. It was a lame excuse, he knew, but Naruto assured him that the elbow to the security guard's nose... and gut... and kick to the knees were all purely accidental. He cursed. That boy was going to be his downfall.
"I just want to avoid another... incident," Mikoto said softly, the last word coming out as a hushed hissed.
"Alright. Minato, go get them."
Startled blue eyes shot from his plate to Mikoto's anxious face and then to Fugaku's stern one.
"Me?" he asked, not bothering to hide the incredulity.
Fugaku just stared back, uncaring, and nodded his head solemnly.
"I don't see why it has to be me."
"Minato, your boy is pretty... wild. It's best if you..." His hands gestured in the air, waving around the unsaid part of the sentence, which Minato knew was 'Go in and get hurt instead of one of us.' He loved his longtime friends but they were damned bastards.
Minato had to admit that he was a bit worried. They very well could be fighting right now; they were both acting pretty strange all night. But damn it, why did he have to be a sacrifice?
"But your son is in there too, this should at least be fair."
As he drew nearer to the door, he grumbled under his breath. Everyone owed him. Fugaku and Mikoto didn't know how much, but they did. How he wished for the days when he thought they were best friends with an unhealthy does of rivalry.
Itachi... well he had a feeling Itachi would have gotten some perverse joy of walking in on them in the bathroom, no matter what they happened to be doing... kids. He had a feeling that Itachi knew about them. He didn't know how, didn't want to know how, but the eldest Uchiha heir was not labeled a genius for nothing.
Sasuke better get him a damn nice birthday gift. And as for Naruto... this had better be the best Father's Day ever. Like, "I got you a speed boat, dad" type of Father's Day.
He sighed as he finally reached the wooden door with the picture of a dark blue beret and a mustache floating underneath labeled 'Garcons'.

Naruto's hand slid underneath Sasuke's newly un-tucked shirt; running along hard abdominal muscles, while his mouth busily sucked on his favorite spot on Sasuke's neck. Sasuke, meanwhile, had one hand buried in thick blond hair while the other was celebrating its recent triumph of unbuckling Naruto's belt by undoing his pants and slipping inside to rub against the soft cotton of his underwear.
Both didn't hear the soft tentative knock at the door as they were too occupied with more important things. It wasn't until the soft tapping became bold and turned into a loud pounding that they abruptly pulled away from each other, shooting twin glares to the restroom door.
"Boys," came Minato's calm yet stern voice, "Is everything okay in there? You guys are taking a bit of time in the restroom... a restroom in a public restaurant... a restaurant which contains patrons who could walk in and use the restroom at any moment..."
Naruto snickered at his father's not so subtle warning as he and Sasuke rearranged their clothing. After he was certain he was presentable, he headed toward the entrance but stopped to turn back to look at Sasuke. "You're spending the night, right?"
Sasuke looked up from trying to arrange his pants in a fashion that would mask his newly acquired problem and smirked. "Hn."
