'Kuso..!'



Someone had spotted them. If they'd seen through their disguises, they would have to kill whomever it was. Much to Sasori and Deidara's relief, they saw a little girl running after them instead of a kunoichi. Even if she were to see through their jutsus, which was highly unlikely, no one would believe a little girl. Especially one with silly pink hair.



"Ohiyo!" Sakura greeted them politely. The Akatsuki duo had to handle this carefully, either way. Who was to say the men they were posing as and this girl were friends? They could despise eachother, and the girl was just joking around with them. "We're very busy right now, ... " Sasori didn't even know the girl's name. "Sakura." Ah, that was it. Sasori and Deidara turned to see what looked like a mini Itachi. That must be Itachi's little brother, Sasuke.



"We have to get moving. The others will get ahead of us." Sasuke suggested, eyeing the two chuunin suspiciously. However, Deidara and Sasori remained calm. What was an Itachi wanna-be going to do? Run and tell the parents he doesn't have? "Oh, ye- yeah.." Sakura looked down for a moment. "Good luck with the paperwork!" She smiled up at them cheerfully before running off to catch up with Sasuke. "Coming, Sasuke-kun!"



Deidara stifled a chuckle, that came out as more of a snort. "Coming, Sasuke-kun!" He mocked, only to be met with a jab in the ribs from Sasori. "Stop screwing around. What exactly did you need to do in here?" There was a very long pause, followed by a shrug of Deidara's shoulders. "I didn't have anything specific in mind, hm. Maybe we could stirr up a bit of trouble.. yeah?" Sasori shook his head. "We should use this situation to out advantage, and observe what Sasuke is capable of." Deidara thought about it for a moment, before hanging his head and sighing. "I guess you're right, yeah."



Fu fu fu..



"They're so boring.. hm."



Sasori and Deidara had been sitting in the same tree for over an hour now. Sasuke hadn't even look in their general direction. "He's obviously a waste of time, Sasori no danna." For once, Sasori agreed with his partner. "That girl.. with pink hair, and green eyes. Her name is Haruno Sakura.." He murmered to himself. Deidara looked up at him. "What's your point?"



"Our sources tell us she will have a close connection with the Fifth Hokage."



"Un, Tsunade-baa-san just adopted her as her second apprentice."



"She could have the potential to surpass even Sasuke-san."



Deidara chuckled quietly. "But she's a girl.. yeah."



Sasori glanced over at his partner with a weary expression. Even he wasn't that sexist. "It's important we do nothing to intrude on her future. She will be a valuable ally of the Akatsuki if we play our cards right." Deidara turned to Sasori, a devious smirk on his face. "But.. what if we do something to bring her closer to the Akatsuki, yeah?" Sasori wasn't an idiot, he knew exactly what he meant. "Come on, when was the last time you had a good lay? It must have been a year. You're always so busy and uptight. " Sasori gave him a glare. But, he had a point.



"For the future of Akatsuki."



"Right, right."
