Undecided Fate

I'll try my best spell the words right! Some of these attack and/or jutsu will be made up. This is the first chapter, its sort of boring, but as it get on, it will get better.

-Open Field; 8:30 am-

"That's it Sakura! Come at me again!" Tsunade blocked Sakura's attack, and pulled out shurikans. Sakura did the same thing and threw it at Tsunade. She quick hit all the shurikans, and threw kunais at Sakura instead. Sakura gasped, and she turned into a log. Sakura had used substitution jutsu. 'Ah, very clever of her.' Tsunade thought.

Tsunade knew Sakura was doing, she gave a smirk. Tsunade backed away from Sakura, giving enough space for her to use her jutsu. Before she could even do one hand sign, she felt Sakura chakra behind her. She stood there, doing nothing, ready to suprise her apprentice. 'Here she comes.'

Tsunade turned around to attack the Sakura coming from behind her, but nothing was there. "What the-" Sakura appeared right in front Tsunade, with a kunai knife at her neck. "Never let your guard down." Sakura said, Tsunade froze. "Well done Sakura, but not good enough." The Hokage quick did her hand signs. Sakura's eyes widen. She was in complete darkness.

'This must be Kenkis Jutsu.' She thought. Sakura concentrated on her chakra. She remember what the Hokage said. 'To escape the Kenkis Jutsu, you either must have power, or stamina.'

Sakura used stamina, and part power. The jutsu was not an easy jutsu to escape, not even the top ninjas could escape without the proper points to attack.

Sakura put her power and chakra on her hand. But it was not powerful enough to see. She brought her right hand towards her left, she pulled back, and blew a hole in the barrier. She hit all the areas needed to be hit and escaped.

Sakura fell out, panting. 'I must of exerted too much chakra.' Sakura stood up and rubbed her behind. Tsunade walked to her. "That's enough training today Sakura." Sakura was relieved. "Go home and rest, I have work to finish." She turned to leave, the Hokage then stopped her. "Sakura, fill out these paper, you might need it." Sakura took the papers and left.

Sakura walked slowly, she felt exhausted. 'How could that be? How could I lose my chakra control?' She thought over again, examining what she did wrong. She sighed. "I'll find out sooner or later."

Sakura stopped at Ino's Flower Shop, to see if her friend was still there. Even though she had a little energy left, her energy is always boosted by her friend.

"Ino? You here? Its Sakura." Sakura walked over to the counter, where her friend would always be doing something. She was startled by Ino, who popped her head up from the counter. "Hey Sakura! Back from training, huh?" And as usually, Ino was her gleeful self, while Sakura was usually tired. "Yeah, I was nearly killed today,...again."

Ino looked a little worried. "Sakura, you look like you need some air, let's get some tea." Sakura nodded, glad by Ino suggestion. "Mom! I'm going out!" Ino bellowed, Sakura could Ino's mother yell. Ino couldn't hear what her mother said, so she had to run to the back to hear her mother's reply. Its took a while for Ino to get back, but they left right after she got back.

-Tea shop; 9:30 am-

Sakura and Ino talked as they walked to the tea shop. They talking, and some silent moment, soon they arrived. "Do you have tea that helps relax?" The girl turned around. "Yes, of course." Sakura sighed as she walked away. "Well, what did you do today?" Ino asked cheerfully. Just as she asked, Naruto and his date, Hinata, came walking in.

"Hey Sakura!!" He yelled. Hinata in his arm, blushed at all the attention. He walked over with Hinata, smiling. The waitress brought over Sakura's and Ino's tea. "Thank you." She smiled as she walked away. Naruto sat down next to Hinata, with Ino and Sakura. "Hi Sakura," Hinata said, nearly whispering, then to to Ino. "Hi to you too."

Sakura drank her tea, then sighed. "This tea is so relaxing." Ino, who was next to her, shook her. "Sakura. You haven't answered my question yet." She opened her one of her eyes. "Oh ok Ino, the Hokage and I did the same thing as usual, but this time I surprised her, I thought I had her, but then," Sakura continued with her story.

Ino and Hinata were completely absorbed with Sakura story, while Naruto on the other hand, stomach started to growl. It seems as if he was trying to hush it. Which eventually cause the girls a bit of distraction from the story.

“No ramen?!? What do you mean no ramen?!?” Yelled the angry and hungry Naruto. “Naruto,…please don’t yell…”Hinata turned to a light shade of red. “I’m sorry, but this is a tea shop, we only sell tea.” Said the waitrss. Naruto started to protest. "But some tea shop got to sell ramen!" The waitress added, but kindly, "But, we're ones that don't sell ramen."

As Naruto sat down, feeling beaten, Sakura looked outside. She stared, how everything was peaceful, even from childhood. Except that one day.

The sun was still shining. ‘Another day, without Sas….’ Sakura came back to reality, she shook her head. “Come on you guys, let’s go get some ramen, for Naruto.” Sakura suggested. “If you insist Sakura.” Ino paid the bill. “Yeah yeah! Ramen!!” Naruto still sound like the little brat he used to be. At least it will keep Sakura’s mind away from her thoughts.

Naruto got his ramen, and Hinata didn’t eat much at all. Sakura paid the bill for Naruto. “You know Naruto, one day, you’re going to make us all broke.” Sakura teased. Ino and Hinata gave a giggle. Sakura’s energy came back, and she felt like she could do anything.

Sakura almost forgot to give the Hokage the paper she needed. She quickly filled out the papers, it was an easy task. Ino, Hinata, and Naruto stared at Sakura's ability. When Sakura looked up, their jaws were hanging. Sakura gave them the "what?" look.

“Hey Sakura, where are you going?” asked Ino. “I got to go turn some paper in for Tsunade.” Naruto turned around. “Visiting Granny-Hokage huh?” Hinata tugged at Naruto’s sleeve.

“Naruto…let’s go.” Naruto nodded. “Ok. Tell Granny-Hokage I said hi!” Sakura and Ino watched as Naruto and Hinata walk away. “I got to go now Sakura, see you tomorrow!” Ino waved good-bye, Sakura waved back. “Time to go to Tsunade.”

-Tsunade’s Office 7:17 pm-

Sakura arrived at Tsunade’s office quite quickly today. As she got near the door, she heard screaming and yelling from behind the door. Sakura leaned closer. “Great! Just great! You come back to the village, and now what!?! Let me guess! You want to destroy the village!?” Tsunade was really angry. Sakura also heard another voice, it was a little low to hear. “Not so Hokage…come for….” That was all she could hear.

Sakura was eager to open the door. She wanted to know who the Hokage was yelling at. Footsteps were coming, Sakura jumped up on the wall and hung there. She looked down to see who it was that passed. It was Kakashi Sensei, as usual, he had his perverty book.

He soon passed by, turning a corner. Sakura was about to jump down, "You better watch out Sakura." She looked down. "Kakashi Sensei!" It was a whisper. He gave a small laugh. Sakura was slipping from the ceiling, so she put chakra on her hands and feet. "Excellent chakra work," He complimented. "Just remember to keep calm when you enter the office."

Sakura was confused. "How did you know that I," She stopped. Kakashi Sensei was already gone!

'He going to pay! CHAAA!' Her inner self yelled.

Sakura jumped down, and went to the door. She swallowed. ‘Here I go.’ Sakura turned the knob and looked in. Tsunade looked up at her, as if nothing had happened. “Sakura I,…” Sakura looked around, and there, there he was, standing, looking at her.

Sakura gasped, it was a hard gasp. Tsunade looked at her, knowing how much everyone went through for Sasuke, especially Sakura. Sakura ignored him, quite well. “Hokage, I have the papers you wanted.”

Sasuke looked at Sakura, ‘she’s changed…’ Sasuke couldn’t stop looking at her. He then shook his head.

‘Snap out of it Sasuke!’

‘Out of what?’ A voice said.

‘What? You’re me, so don’t go arguing.’

‘You’re choice… but take a good look at her...’

Tsunade took the papers. “Thank you Sakura. You may go.” Sakura nodded. Sakura walked right past Sasuke. He caught her scent. ‘She even smells different.’

Sakura left Tsunade’s office. She leaned on the wall outside the Hokage's door, and sighed. ‘I made it, but…’ Sakura got up. She need to go home and clear her head out.

-Sakura’s Apartment; 10:29pm-

Sakura wasn’t hungry at all today. She took a shower, and brushed her teeth. She looked at herself in the mirror. ‘What’s wrong?’ She asked herself. She yawned and went to her room. Sakura walked over to her counter, and looked at the picture.


Three years Sasuke, three years. How could you? You left us all. We cared about you, and now you returned to crush our heart.

To crush my heart? Sasuke, you no longer matter to me, I’m going to break you heart.

As you did to me!


Sakura sighed. “Could this day be anymore stressing?” Sakura jumped into bed, holding on the soft and comforting pillow and bed. Soon, she fell asleep, not wanting to think of anything, especially,….not about Sasuke.

-Ninja Academy Ground 9:01am-

“Ok students! Today is the annual Konoha Sparring Day. Students who have graduated from the academy may attend. Let’s begin!” Said the proctor. Sakura was sitting on the tree branch, hidden, waiting for the match to begin. She sighed every few moments and then.

First up, was Chouji and Shikamaru. She could see how much stronger they got. Chouji used Baika No Jutsu, and doubled his size. He rolled toward Shikamaru, as quick as Shikamaru could, he used his shadow possession jutsu. But it was too late. Shikamaru was rolled over.

Sakura was surprised. Chouji actually won. “Yeah! Go Chouji!!!” Yelled Ino, with a wide smile. Shikamaru who just lifted his face from the ground and sighed. “What a drag…” He got up and wiped the dirt off his shirt.

The matched dragged on, and Sakura got sort of bored. She decided to leave, until Ino came up to the tree she was sitting on. “Hey Sakura! You coming down?” Ino asked, as if she knew Sakura was about to leave. Sakura turned around. “I guess, who am I going against?” Ino smiled. “Me, of course!”

Sakura jumped down from the tree and landed perfectly on the ground. Ino was waiting for her in the academy arena. “Come on!” She waved. “Coming!” Sakura jumped in front of Ino, and the match began.

Sakura threw a kunai at Ino, who stopped it with her own. Sakura went for a down swipe and knocked Ino down. She got up and used hand combats. Sakura and Ino hitting and blocking both their opponents attack.

“You’ve gotten stronger Sakura!” Attacking Sakura, while trying to guard herself.

“Of course Ino! Why wouldn’t I?” Sakura replied back. Missing her kick over Ino’s head.

“Hehe. Of course.” Ino sighed, and was nearly hit by Sakura.

“Never lower your guard!” Sakura smiled.

The fight continued on, Naruto was screaming at Sakura to win, "Sakura! Go for her head!!" Hinata by his side, blushing. “Go for it my love!” Lee yelled. Chouji who was smiling, eating chips, and his sensei next to him, congratulating him on winning. Shikamaru just sighing. Kakashi was reading his book again. Neji, was watching, unlike some others.

Sakura wanted to end it quickly, so she went for a hard punch at Ino. Which apparently hit her down. Everyone gave a loud cheer. Ino was down. “I declare this match to,…Sakura Haruno!” Everyone clapped and cheered. “Yeah! Go Sakura!!!” Naruto was just as loud as Ino.

Sakura walked to Ino, and helped her up. “Good going Sakura!” Ino smiled, and Sakura smiled back. They both walked toward their seats, and suddenly a gust of wind came up.

Some ran, some screamed, but the graduated ninja academy students stayed. Sakura tried to turn her head toward the gust to see who it was. As soon as the gust dismantled, everyone turn to see who it was. And to everyone’s surprise, it was Uchiha Sasuke.

Mumbles were passing everywhere around the academy. Sasuke looked around, to see familiar faces. The proctor walked up, as if nothing has happened. “We will begin the next sparring match.” Sasuke waiting for his opponent, was still looking around.

‘Who’s going against Sasuke?’ Sakura asked herself. ‘Maybe….me?’ She brought her finger toward her mouth. 'Should I, should I take revenge?' She just stood there. Ino, by her side, was also immoblized, "Sakura..."

No one was answering to the next match. Naruto, seem as if it wasn’t the right time to fight Sasuke. Sakura was still exhausted from the last match. “Is there no one willing to fight?” The proctor asked. No one answered. “Then this match is…” Sakura appeared in front of Sasuke. “I will fight Sasuke.”

-11:27-

Everyone’s jaw dropped. Sakura knew what they were thinking, Sakura Haruno, could never beat an Uchiha. Was it possible? No, but she has trained hard. It could happen. Just as the match was about to begin, the Hokage appeared. Sakura couldn’t help but get the feeling that she knew Sakura was going to fight.

The match started out pretty easy. Sasuke was just throw kunai, and shurikans. Of course, Sakura knew something big was going to happen.

She decided to use hand combats at Sasuke, but first she threw her shurikan, and used Ne Turo Jutsu, and made shurikans follow its opponent till it hits something.

Sasuke stopped all her shurikans. She jumped in front of Sasuke, who almost lost his balance at Sakura distance to him, and attack Sasuke. He stopped sliding back with a kunai in his hand, and grinned. Unstopping, Sakura jumped up in the air and punched the ground.

Jumping back, Sasuke managed the few jumps without success. Hearing the crowd cheer and chant her name made her stronger. The ground were at different levels because of Sakura's intense hit. Even the crowd had wide eyes. 'Just like Kakashi.' Sakura smiled at herself.

Tsunade, who was watching, studied Sakura’s chakra, and her eyes widen. ‘Sakura can’t be trying to use the Kenkis Jutsu.’ “So you can see it too, eh?” Tsunade looked down, as Kakashi sharigan was being covered up. “Yes, but Sakura, I don’t know how much chakra she’s got left in her. I'm afraid Sasuke could break that barrier.”

Sasuke ran towards Sakura and punched numerous punches at her. She dodged the first few, but was eventually punched and flew back. She opened her eyes and saw Sasuke using his fireball jutsu, she quickly rolled left and dodged it. She got back on her feet. Everyone cheered.

Ino was looking nervous. ‘Oh, I hope Sakura is going to be ok.’ Lee kepted his eyes on Sakura. ‘Go for it my love!’ Hinata looked worried too, and Tenten had confidence in Sakura. “GO SAKURA!!!” Naruto yelled at his teammate, even though, he knew how stronger Sakura has gotten. If she beats Sasuke, can Naruto beat Sakura? But it was not to happen. Sakura was panting hard, Sasuke, who was not.

“When are you intending to give up Sasuke?” Sasuke looked into her eyes, they had hatred in them, hatred for him. “Never.” Sakura smiled at this. Everyone was confused, but the match went on. Neji, moved next to Tsunade, “What is it Hokage?” Tsunade looked at him, “Neji, I need you to tell me what condition Sakura is in, and if she can used the Kenkis Jutsu.” Neji nodded. “Byakugan!” Neji looked at Sakura chakra points.

Tsunade awaited his answer. He turned to her. “She can use the Kenkis Jutsu, but that would drain all her chakra, she may not be able to do anything for a while, but she's your apprentice. She could withstand it.”

Naruto looked at Neji and frowned. “You know, you sound like a doctor, who doesn’t know a thing. Especially if you're talking like that.” Kakashi hit Naruto on the head. “Naruto, stop it.” Naruto, once again beaten, sat down. Tsunade wondered if Sasuke would escape from the jutsu.

Sakura needed distance from Sasuke. She back flipped back until she got the distance. She closed her eyes and did her hand signs. Sasuke was charging at Sakura, he used his fireball jutsu, just when he used it Sakura disappeared. Sasuke looked around, in a non-panic way. It was dark.

Sakura who was outside the dark barrier, holding her position. The ninjas watched in astonishment at how strong the Hokage’s apprentice is. Soon, Sakura’s chakra started to go down.

Inside the dark barrier, Sasuke looked for its weak point. Eventually he found it. Sasuke grabbed his left arm, and blue chakra started to crack. Sasuke then pulled his hand back and hit the weak point with the chidori. The barrier broke open and huge winds brew.

Sakura shield herself, as the wind started to vanish. Sakura was panting very hard. She manage to give a small smile, "You haven't changed a bit Sasuke...," she continued panting. "Maybe,..." She stepped foward a little, and fell.

-Sakura's Apartment 5:55-

Tsunade rushed to Sakura, and pick up her apprentice. “You fought well…” Tsunade carried Sakura home, accompanied with Ino. And with Sasuke, unknowingly coming along. They both walked silently, not saying anything all the way back.

Ino fiddled with Sakura’s key. “Man. How many keys does she have?” At last, Ino found the key to Sakura apartment. The rooms were cold, so Ino turned the heat on. Tsunade laid Sakura in her bed. “Sleep well.”

As Ino was about to depart, Tsunade turned around. “Ino, is it ok if you stay with Sakura for a while?” Ino took a while to answer. “Yeah, sure. Could you tell my mother that I’ll be here?” The Hokage nodded and walked out.

Sasuke, who was expecting Sakura to be alone, sat on her roof, waiting for Ino to leave.

‘Oh man, I’m so beat after losing to Sakura.’ Ino sighed and turned on the television. She then thought about the day. ‘That’s right, Sasuke. Sakura almost won. But why is he back? Maybe Sakura being out, I can have Sasuke to myself!’
