chapter 2

Sakura walked into the dark room. It had been at least an hour when she mysteriously found herself in what looked like an abandon two story manor. When she first woke up, her head and left side were throbbing. She had gone through out the whole manor and has yet to see any sign of any life. Not even a sign of past life. But for some reason the black room... THIS black room seems the fullest. Where all of the others seemed.... well empty.
"Man what is this place... an illusion?" mumbled Sakura as she looked round but still saw the same thing.
"Great more bareness and I going insane as I talk to myself, from the lack of... huh...." just then she noticed a small form of light in the corner where the black wallpaper started to lift. She peeked through the hole and saw more black but this was different. Sakura looked around but, yet again saw no signs of former life.
Every room was cover in complete white even the windows had a thick, heavy, white fabric...except this one. It was covered in black and dark redwood hard floors. It looked like the floor was painted with blood unlike the others which had bright colored oak hardwood floors. Sakura returned her attention to the cracked wallpaper and started to peel it away.
The wallpaper peeled right off as though longing to be removed to reveal a pair of pure glass sliding doors. Sakura peered out through them in amazement as she saw a group of large gardens. With forests of trees far out in the distances that looked as though they surrounded the manor for miles. Without holding it back Sakura released a depressed sign as she slides open one of the glass doors in the room and stepped outside, leaving half of the room still covered in complete black.

Once outside she looked around at the scene. As she walked down the single stone path, that meet at the base of the house's porch just in front of the room. The porch seemed to circle around the house. Sakura continued down the path only looking back at the house when the stone path spit into several directions.
When she looked at the night sky before looking back at the house she couldn't help but to gape at the sight she saw. The house alone had to be at least five or six floors high if not more. Not to mention how much it looked like an ancient castle to some great lord. It was big enough to fit each of the main villages with a floor of their own and still have enough room for more people. At the roof it looked to be a flat and had stone creatures, that gleamed in the moon light.
"Wow... What is this place?" Just then something struck her saying "Wait where I am and how the hell did I get here.” She looked around then said “The last I remember was... That I was leaving the... and then....nothing"
Sakura looked around She could see the wild growing field far off in the distance but that was it. She turned towards the house and went back into the room. However, this time she felt as though she was being watched. She looked around before closing the glass door and leaving the room. Back to the only room that she knew was furnished to show some sign of life. It was on the second floor in the far back. This was the highest she had gone. She entered the door on the left and fell face first onto the four post bed and released a long Sigh before turning onto her side and mumbled
"Was it only a dream? Or did I really see Sasuke and Naruto? And if so why... why were they with Gaara and Neji and the other guys? Well at least now I can try training... great I'm talking to myself again." and at that she fell asleep. She didn't even bather covering up.

Sakura woke up and found her self under the blanket completely covered and shocked. She looked around and found the curtains weren't drawn back and was about to do so when she heard voices.

Sasuke- Has she woken yet?
Gaara- She was at midnight but then fell asleep after looking around and stepping out in the back.
Naruto- Did you watch her?
Gaara- ...
Neji- of course how else would he know when and how long she was up?
Shiki- If you ask me this is too troublesome we should have just taken her back...
Sasuke- No... It seems that she was running away and I want to know why?
Kan- I think we should keep an eye on her until we know for sure what she was doing?
Naru-We do Kakashi told us that She and Ino where going to go hang out with Lee but never showed up and when the two went to check up on her they found a note saying goodbye... I say we wake her up and ask her...
Sasuke- shut up dope your loud mouth will wake her up and what makes you think she will tell us?
Naruto-...sigh... did you have to hit me that hurt...
Gaara- I agree with Naruto... if she doesn't tell us we'll keep her here until she spills.
Naru-SEE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS SO! OW... WHAT WAS THAT FOR
Sasu- Shut up dope you'll wake up Sakura!

Sakura heard footsteps heading towards her and quickly laid back down and pretended to sleep as she heard the footsteps stop and the curtains pull back

Sasu- Your lucky she didn't wake up or you would have done the questioning.
Shiki-Are you sure we should do this?
Sasu- We asked Tsunade for permission to look for her and ask her why she left. And since Kakashi-sensei is out on a mission we were able to get you guys to help too.... but we'll have to stay here hidden in the shadows. Tsunade said that she would tell Kakashi when he got back. So we have full clearance until then... but no one can find this place unless they have already came here.
Kiba- (SHOUTING) Hey who's hungry? Choji used the gardens and chicken eggs in the back and made breakfast for us...
Everybody-SH___
Sakura took this moment to stir otherwise she would fall back to sleep. Yawning she slowly pushed herself up and rubbed her eyes.
"Sasuke-kun... Naruto... huh.... what's going on?" They all looked at her as she looked around. Naruto didn't waste any time as he shouted,
"SAKURA, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?" She turned to him dumbly and said
"What do you mean?" Sasuke replied
"He wants to know why you were trying to run away."
"Huh I wasn't running away..." Lied Sakura,
"BULL SHIT! SAKURA STOP LYING, WE SAW THE NOTE. IT WAS SOMETHING SOME ONE WOULD WRITE IF THEY WERE RUNNING AWAY!"
"I WASN'T RUNNING AWAY NARUTO!" Choji walked in the room with food as Naruto shot back
"THEN WHY DID YOU WRITE A LETTER?" Sakura calmly said through gritted teeth
"Because I didn't want people to think I was running away!" It wasn't true but there was no way she was about to change her story now. Gaara and Sasuke saw that she wasn't going to cave. Gaara Grabbed the tray from Kiba and Shoved it at Sakura as Sasuke said,
"We won't let you leave here until you tell the truth and tell us why you were hiding in the bush?"
"Easy I thought someone was following behind me so I hide. I was thinking they were the enemy. After all a ninja has to always be on their guard you never know when the enemy is going to strike. Remember that was what we were always told by Sensei." Sasuke glared at her and left the room with the others following behind him as he said,
"Gaara Keep an eye on her for us will you?" Gaara said nothing as he lends against the opposite wall watching her.
Sakura sweat dropped then looked down at the food then to each of her sides. She saw a nightstand to her left and set the tray down saying,
"I'm not really hungry." She stood up but gravity took over her as the pound headache grew again. Though, thankfully her side had stopped throbbing.
Gaara just watched as she force herself to her feet and held on to one of the posts as she held her head with the other hand.
She slowly worked her way to the balcony as she used the wall for support. Then opened the doors only to collapse onto the ground before trying to pull herself back up. Then to fall backwards into something or someone firm. She looked up to find Naruto's worried face and Gaara behind him.
"You shouldn't move so quickly Sakura-chan... You'll only make it worse for yourself." She pushed up off of him saying
"I was just fine last night without help, thank you very m...uch..." She fell back into their embrace. Then the two boys pulled her up and held her so she could stand. The breeze blow her hair as the three walk onto the big balcony and headed towards the set of lawn chair and the table, with an umbrella attached to it, that sat in the far right corner. The two helped her sit down, before Naruto himself sat down next to her as Gaara went inside and returned with the tray of food and sat it in front of her. Then he sat down next to Naruto.
"Thanks but no thank, I'm not hungry."
"Sakura you have to eat if you want to walk on your own."
"Hm..." Sakura crossed her arms and looked away from the two like a stubborn child
"Sakura don't make us force you to eat.... because we will."
"I'm not hungry!" In Fact she was she just didn't have the strength to do so, she had wasted all of her energy last night and the sleep wasn't helping with her recovering energy at all.
"Come on Sakura stop being stubborn... Fine, Gaara hold her down. I'll shove the food into her mouth." They had just stood up when she shoved a small spoon full into her mouth and forced herself to sallow.
"There happy I ate some now leave me alone."
At that she stomped out leaving behind a confused Naruto and a silent Gaara.
