"Friendly" Visits

Chapter 2: "Friendly" Visits
"So you have decided to take her in..." Alison sat back sipping some tea she made. "I am certain it shall be a wise decision." //Damn...this complicates things!// she thought to herself. Gaara nodded sipping his tea. "She'll be safer there and not have to live in the memory of what happened," he said. "Six years ago today...damn fool," Kali said. "I still say if he comes back, he's a dead man," Naruto said. Alison raised her brow slowly. "Rather harsh thinking, do you not think?" she asked. "Heh...for what he put her through, I don't care," Naruto said.
Kali shook her head. "You should stop speakin' so much outta anger, Naruto...it's been six years. He ain't comin' back." She sighed. "What's done is done, Naruto...he comes back, he'll be killed," Gaara said quietly. "He betrayed Kohana and Hidden Leaf." "I want to be there when he is then," Naruto said sternly. Gaara looked at Naruto strangely, but said nothing since inwardly, he'd be there as well. //That death would be great.// he thought to himself. Kali chose not to use her telepathy on that and sat back. "Ya think there's a hint that she still loves him?" she suddenly asked. Alison cocked her brow on that one. "Possibly the love remains, but is pushed back by fear," she said. "Fear he shall hurt her again, fear he is using her...all of the above could cause her not to even trust him even if that remains." "How could you trust someone after that?" Naruto asked.
"One cannot...like saying Kakashi arose from the dead," Alison said narrowing her smoky gray eyes. "Unless he plays zombie like the nins at Hidden Mist, I do not think so." Kali shuddered at the thought of those nins...known to be vicious and deadly. Even Gaara shuddered at that. "Alison, watch the spookiness." "My apologizes, Kagekage-sama," she said bowing her head. He nodded. "So...where did you go all this time, Alison?" he asked. She calmly looked at him. "I needed time to think...and that I did," she said. "You were never far from my mind...so do not think that." "Like we'd doubt you, Ali?" Naruto asked a small smirk playing on his lips. "No...I doubt you would."

He sat peering over the cliff...staring into nothingness.
He had blood on his hands...blood that was his and another's.
He had killed Orochimaru...screaming her name.
Yet his heart clenched...he had done her wrong.
Sasuke sighed as he sat on a boulder now staring at the world around him. Memories of the past when he was of his team came to him and seeing how they grew up. Then that stormy night...he found a young hanyou beaten and broken bringing her to Kakashi. The Copy nin cleaned her up...cared for her as if she was his own child. Sasuke was always there and the two had a bond. Kakashi trained her in ninja skills and found she could summon wolves at her own command.
She could even shape shift into one. How fitting...
He rested his head on his knee. "I hurt the only one who understood me...tore her heart to pieces," he whispered. "Damnit...I was so fucking stubborn...power hungry.." He was bringing himself down for reason. The Sound Nins always told the news. When he heard of the Assasins in Kohana taking Kakashi's life, that almost killed him there...but then he heard of his koi's condition.
Deaf from broken eardrums...mute since he left...refusing to utter a single word.
"Damn you to hell, Orochimaru...damn you too, Itachi...you're the reasons this happened!"
Oh sure, Sasuke...put the blame on someone else...like that's going to help.
"I must see her again...to hold her, inhale her scent...her body with mine," he whispered. "Gods, I love her! I LOVE YOU, YASHA!"

Although against her better judgment, Alison was somehow bribed into going to see Yasha leave with Gaara and Kali. Yasha, now awake and alert, saw Naruto and smiled hugging him. "Hey," he signed. "Look who I brought." Gaara, Kali, and Alison entered the room. A slow smile came to Yasha's face showing her fangs a bit. Naruto smiled at this. Yasha looked at him. "Do they understand sign language?" she signed. As if an automatic answer, Gaara walked to her and began signing to her. "Yeah, we understand you," he spoke and signed at the same time. "It's just like hand seals if you think of it." Kali chuckled. "Leave it to koi to talk 'bout ninja skills and sign language," she said signing as well for Yasha to understand. Yasha softly giggled. Naruto raised a brow. "Gonna giggle now?" he signed. "They're funny," she signed back. "Don't make me tickle you to death," Gaara signed smirking. Yasha shook her head and smiled bashfully as she hugged him. Kali smiled at this.
Alison stood in the back watching. Although Yasha was there so she could just grab her, she didn't. She had reason too as she watched this. Yasha smiled and looked at Alison. "Come here with us?" she signed. Alison shook her head. "I have to get going, Yasha, I am sorry," she signed and spoke. "I wish to leave before it gets dark." Kali smiled. "Glad you came though, Ali," she said. Alison smirked and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
