"I'm speaking"
Pairing: Hentai F/M - Naruto X Konan / Hinata / Tayuya
Last Time:
The sharp warning look from Hinata made Shino shut up and get back to the task of changing places with his puppet. Moments later three more ninjas were headed towards Wave ...

“Ino, you can complain all you want, but we’re going to team up with Team 8 not Team 7.” The puppet Asuma said with a groan. Naruto was not used to dealing with the very real fan girl and he had to admit his patience was draining fast. (There has to be a way to snap her out of this fan girl thing … my head can’t handle much more of this shrieking.) Naruto thought from inside his puppet.
“But Sasuke might need me!” Ino exclaimed with an actual toddler style stomp of the foot.
“He’s actually able to get out of trouble whereas you had trouble with a trashcan so how helpful can you be?” Naruto commented, sounding more annoyed than he intended.
Choji, sweet guy that he was, winced at the sad look on Ino’s face, “That’s a bit mean, sensei.”
“Perhaps it was harsh,” The puppet Asuma admitted, making Ino perk up, “but then I think about the statistics of genin who are raped and murdered on their first mission and compare their skills to yours.” He looked down at Ino, who looked shocked that he was even bringing up such things. “What? Being a ninja is a bloody job that is full of heartache and betrayal.”
“Stuff like that is only in the movies or demon attacks.” Ino said, but started to look very hesitant when she saw the dumbfounded looks on the three males’ faces.
Choji looked nervous, “Ino, my dad has told me of his old missions and they were dangerous.”
Shikamaru saw a chance to start looking for an answer that Hinata wanted, “Mine too. Your father also has a mind warping bloodline so he must’ve mentioned having to help people after something traumatic happened. My dad mentioned that your dad actually usd his bloodline to remove a nightmare from you so he has been in peoples’ heads.”
“That was a one time thing!” Ino snapped proving that she was more naive than they expected.
Choji blinked, “ummm … Ino, we’re on the same team to mimic our fathers’ team and one of the main attacks required your father to throw his mind into the enemy. Obviously he has done that before, right?”
“And you will too, right? Or do you really have no clue how to use your own bloodline? I highly doubt Sasuke will go for a girl without any skills at all even if you have a bloodline in your DNA.” Shikamaru asked, trying to provoke the fan girl.
Ino’s cheeks flushed with anger, “I can use it! Dad hasn’t had the time to train me personally, but I made a copy of my dad’s Jutsu one time and I know the first steps -“
Asuma sighed, “There’s Team 8. We’ll talk about training after a short mission, ok?” He said thankful that he wouldn’t be the only Naruto clone dealing with this fan girl insanity.
The Kurenai puppet came towards them with Hinata, Kiba and Shino, but she suddenly stopped and her eyes widened, “Did Ino just fall over for a reason?” She asked as she rushed forward.
The Asuma puppet blinked, “Huh?” The Naruto clone turned. He first saw a Shikamaru and Choji, who looked confused, but they all turned to look at the ground several paces behind them. There they saw an unconscious Ino on the ground. “I said to wait for training!” He exclaimed as he rushed over to pick up Ino so she wasn’t in the weeds.
Kiba gaped in shock, “What happened?! She looks dead!” He exclaimed, but couldn’t help but notice that Shino pulled out a blanket that they could place Ino on as if he understood that it was needed. How’d he know what to do without the senseis saying anything?
“No, Kiba. She’s fine, but she completely drained herself of all her chakra.” Kurenai said as she kept two fingers on Ino’s wrist to keep track of her pulse.
Shikamaru blinked, “but … she was only talking about using a basic clan jutsu. How could she knock herself out with one jutsu?”
The Naruto clone in the Asuma puppet sighed, “I’m not entirely sure … she said she knew the first steps of learning her bloodline. Any ideas on what that would be?”
Choji hummed as he tried to recall something, “My dad once mentioned that the bloodlines for my and Shikamaru’s are very different from the Yamanaka clan. That they have to start from the inside?”
“Really?” Shikamaru asked, genuinely surprised. “My dad never mentioned it.”
“Yeah.” Choji said sheepishly. “Dad was trying to make me feel better about our body type by saying it provides power in other ways that other bloodlines can’t.”
Naruto nodded from inside the Kurenai puppet, “That’s very true. You’d be a powerful fighter with the right training.” He said absentmindedly as he examined Ino. “From the inside, right?”
The Akimichi smiled feeling happy about being told that he could be strong, “Yes. That’s how my dad worded it.”
Asuma face palmed, “So if the first steps for a mind walk is to start ‘inside’ then Ino probably used a jutsu that dragged herself into her own mind.”
Kiba’s eyes widened, “Can she get out without chakra?”
“Nope.” Naruto said using the Kurenai puppet. “She’s trapped in there for a while. We already signed up for a mission. It’s not a high rank so we can back out. What does everyone want to do? We can take Ino with us and practice how to travel with an injured teammate or just start individual training after taking her home.?”
Choji frowned, “It didn’t sound like she had permission to start training yet …” he trailed off not sure if he was ok with getting her in trouble especially since they kind of provoked her.
Shikamaru nodded, “Yeah. Let’s take this chance to learn how to carry someone in different ways and when she recovers we can get her to build up her chakra. Maybe when we return she’ll be strong enough that her dad will agree to teach her a few things and we’ll never have to say anything.”
“I like that idea!” Kiba exclaimed. Everyone else seemed to be in agreement.
Asuma grinned, “Ok! Who’d like to try to carry Ino first?” He said and Naruto was relieved since their plans to get Choji and Kiba out of the village can continue without someone watching them. Everyone, who had clones watching through their puppets as their real bodies headed to Wave, wanted to have their academy peers on their side.
It became clear that Naruto would have to say something sooner rather than later. After all, Kiba and Choji seemed to notice that Shino, Hinata and Shikamaru were already very good at carrying someone. That wasn’t a big concern yet. Maybe when Ino wakes up they can start training and revealing some things …
“I have an idea.” Kurenai said after a couple hours of walking towards their client, who was waiting for them to pick the package that needed to be delivered. “Why don’t I put a few different genjutsus on Ino and we can practice bandaging and carrying?”
Shino smirked slightly as he adjusted his glasses, “Nothing too graphic or Kiba might faint again.”
Kiba twitched violently, “Blood doesn’t scare me! I fainted for-“ Kiba gulped fearfully as Hinata shot him a deadly glare. “A completely different reason I can’t remember right now.”
Both clones in the puppets shivered knowing Hinata’s glare was meant for them too. “Ok … there’s our client now. Let’s start right after I pick up the package so we don’t traumatize any civilians.” Asuma said as an old gentleman was seen waiting at a cafe. He didn’t want anyone, their client included, getting the wrong idea about the clearly unconscious blonde girl in their group ...

“Where am I?” An awestruck Ino muttered in disbelief as her eyes wandered over the sight in front of her.
Before her was a large river with giant flowers and she was standing on a rock right in the middle. It looked like there were bubble people floating along the shore, but nothing else besides trees. The bubble people clearly weren’t going to help. In fact, they didn’t even seem to notice her as they floated along.
“Oh right! I’m in my mind! TOLD YOU I COULD DO IT!” She yelled up into the sky excitedly. After a little more yelling that was meant for her disbelieving teammates she tried the jutsu to reverse this. It took six failed attempts before she realized she couldn’t get out. Ino quickly started to panic, “How do I get out of here?!” Almost instantly a large pink flower floated over to her. “Oh … ok. This is just my mind … I’ll just look around until my teammates think of something.” She clumsily jumped onto the flower and it started floating down the river
As she drifted noticed the bubble people disappeared other more recognizable people floating on flowers too. Each flower boat had a tall wooden sign that had notes about that person in Ino’s handwriting. They were mainly villagers and old neighbors, but no one she really knew. The farther she went, however, it became more obvious that she was approaching the things that meant the most to her. In fact, once the cherry blossoms coated the surface of the river and the signs got more elegant she saw only her closest loved ones.
“Dad, Mom, Sasuke.” She said with a smile when she saw the people on a large pink flower that had its petals bent to make a heart shape. Just as she was about to go see them she noticed two people who really shouldn’t be in this section. “What is billboard brow doing here? … and … Hinata?” She pondered as she recognized the two girls floating on flowers nearby.
The flower took her over to Hinata’s flower and she hopped on. She looked closely at the notes on the sign …
‘A girl from class. Disowned Hyuga heir. Not a rival for Sasuke’s love.’
“Ok? So why are you two here? … and completely frozen?” She wondered completely confused. Sakura and Hinata’s forms were seated with their heads down. Shikamaru and Choji made sense. She admitted that she considered them annoying, but still they were childhood friends and they were on their flowers only little ways away. They even waved when she looked at them. The placement and frozen state of the two girls did not make sense. It was then she noticed the fancy sign had different handwriting and it was the same with Sakura’s sign, which only had one line.
‘Rival for Sasuke’s love!’
Ino raised an eyebrow when she looked closer at the letters and noticed something wrong about the ‘s’, “Why is dad’s handwriting here? … must be a brain thing.” She shrugged off the familiar swish to the letters and got back on her flower to go to the big flower where her family was. Once she got on the flower she ran up to the Sasuke figure and giggled at the sign over him.
‘My beloved future husband.’
“So true.” She hugged the life sized figure not caring that it was frozen and then hugged her dad who was standing next to Sasuke, but with his own sign. Finally, she skipped over to her mother who was sitting on the flower instead of standing like her dad and Sasuke. “Wait … a thread?”
When she hugged her mother she saw a little stray thread poking out from the dress. It bothered her and she tried to pull it off. Only it kept getting longer and longer…

Kiba helped Hinata take the heavily bandaged Ino off her back and set her on the grass, “Stitches opened.” He exclaimed when he saw blood trickle from under an arm bandage.
“Good catch, Kiba!” Kurenai praised and dispelled the genjutsu leaving Ino with only bandages. “Everyone did quite well! If she’s still not up tomorrow we’ll continue the game. For now let’s set up camp for the night.”
The Asuma puppet hummed, “We have a large group so let’s do two lookouts at a time. We’ll shift off every couple hours. I’ll stay in the tent with Ino so she isn’t alone if she wakes up. Alright, let’s pick who is the first team.”

Ino blinked as her mom’s apron and dress completely fell off revealing an Anbu uniform with a peacock mask attached to her hip, “but mom isn’t a ninja-“ she gasped and grabbed her head as a pain shot through it.
‘Yay! I want to be a strong ninja just like you.’
“That … was that my voice?” Ino muttered as the disembodied voice of a young Ino faded away. “Like who? I don’t remember saying that.” She pondered as she looked back and forth between her mom and her mother’s sign.
‘A loving mother and civilian housewife.’
Finally, she took a closer look at the sign. The words ‘A loving mother and’ were in her own handwriting, but the words ‘civilian housewife.’ were, yet again, written by someone else. Out of curiosity she began picking at the words. When some of the words began flaking off.
“Dammit. This’ll take forever.” Ino grumbled and her eyes went back to her mother. After a moment staring at that sweet smile she reached into her mother’s weapons pouch. While shaking like a leaf she pulled out a kunai …
‘Mommy! Mommy! What’d you do to mommy?!’
Ino wiped a tear from her cheek as the terrified scream of a child faded away. Her grip on the kunai tightened and she started furiously scraping at the words on the sign ...

“It’s good to see you, Yuki.” Naruto said when they reached the entrance of the village of Wave.
The pretty woman smiled, “I recognize your voice. It has been a while.” She said as she moved away from her guard so she could hug the disguised ninja.
Kakashi blinked from behind his mask, “Itachi?” He asked absolutely positive that the bodyguard next to the woman who met them at Wave was the supposed traitor.
“Let’s all go inside my hotel room and talk.” Yuki offered knowing it’d be safer than out in the open.
Naruto stiffened, “Yeah, the rest of our party arrived.” He commented right when shino, Shikamaru and Hinata dropped down from the trees. “You guys caught up really fast.” He said he did not like that Hinata’s hand was tapping her weapons pouch threateningly.
“We were … rushed.” Shino commented from behind his mask. As they followed the young woman into the brand new hotel Shino signaled to Naruto ‘Hinata is still pissed.’ Naruto just sighed. He knew he wasn’t getting to Mist completely intact.
Just as the entire group got into the hotel suite, Itachi saw several members tense up. “Did something happen on the other end?” He asked curiously knowing that nothing happened here so their clones must’ve discovered something.
Hinata pulled off her mask revealing tears, “Ino woke up …”
Naruto simply held Hinata’s hand comfortingly and started explaining to those who didn’t have puppets near Ino ...
