The Black One

It was finally the day of the start
of the Chuunin exams, well Naruto was still curdled up next to Kyuubi who was
stroking his hair softly, purring at what happened last night, at which Naruto
just tightened his arms around him more, mewing like an animal.

�Who is it?� Kyuubi said as he turned
his head to the door, his sister just stood there, dressed in a black silk
Kimono, with tulips all over it in pink and gold, with a cup to steaming coffee
in her hands, two; she walked over to him with a little smile.

�Here...i fought you might need it.�
Her eyes averted from his as she smiled, both in joy, but as well to hide her
nervousness, about what happened two nights ago, well� she slept well the previous night, well apart
from the noises coming from her brother.

�Well this is a nice surprise...�
Kyuubi said propping himself up on his right elbow, while quickly catching the
covers as they slipped off his lower stomach.

�Yeah...well we have tea, and
now...coffee...� She fell into laps silence as she gave a slurp of her tea, at
which Kyuubi took a slip, pulling back his ears going against his head, and his
face grimacing.

�Well you did want to try it right?�
Kyu-Ni gave a little laugh, at seeing her brothers expression, and just walked
back out of there room.

�Hey where are you going...?� Kyuubi said
wrapping a tail around his cup, making sure not to get any fur in it and at
this Kyu-Ni just smiled holding her finger to her nose, while tilting her head
towards him.

�Just getting washed...will you now
get outta bed...you�ll get lazy besides, Naruto�s waking up...an' we both know
he�s the bottomless pit here...thank god we have demon take-away service.�

�....� Kyuubi just looked shocked at
that comment and turned to Naruto, whom was just about to open his eyes, and
just smiled and squeezed him tighter against him, and getting outta bed, his
tails grabbing various articles of discarded clothing from about the room, and
dressing both himself and Naruto as they headed towards the kitchen. �So what�s in this kitchen then?�

�In the bathroom Kyu-ni was just brushing her
hair, she thinking over and over of that strange dream, but she through that
thought aside, and looked up to the mirror, only to drop the comb with a
clatter, her eyes wide, her long hair over her shoulders, as she stepped back,
for in the mirror was her reflection, with the same runes, the same golden
colour, surrounded by a sea of black and stars, but a pair of eyes not her own,
those of deep red looked at her and a voice echoed in her head.

�Glimpse...your future.� �The image started to bleed from the eyes,
opening its mouth as if in a scream, at which point Kyu=Ni shut her eyes,
trying to block out the images and voice, but the last thing it said before
fading. �It is inevitable.�

�No its not!� Kyu-
Ni thought as she opened her eyes to see her reflection, yet all that looked
back at her was her own shocked face, wide with shock, she calmed herself,
picked up the comb, she had dropped, placed it up next to the mirror, alongside
the toothpaste, and other morning things, and walked out, ready to meet Kyuubi
and Naruto ready for the Chuunin exams.

Up in the endless sea of Stars Amelia
just looked at Kyu-Ni along with her master, whom sat on a silver chair, his
hands propped up upon a glass table, with silver legs, his finger interwoven,
elbows on the table, a chess board in front of him, while the image of Kyu-Ni
and its events were below them, roughly the size of a cinema screen.

�I believe it is your move my dear.�
He said in his calm collected voice, as he watched Kyu-Ni, Naruto and Kyuubi
make their way towards the exam hall.

�Oh right...� Amelia, whom was sat
opposite her master shifted her bishop and took a pawn from him, and which he
smiled.

�Nicely played...oh and what do you
think of Kyu-ni...i do hope our new friend is getting on with his little task,
since your last talk with him...hmm, oh it was quite the little shown really?� �At this Amelia just looked down.

�Yes it was...they should be back any
minute.� And as the last sound left his lips and faded, all the robed figure
returned, the stars shimmering as they each appeared, first was Minato, black,
blue and finally red, at which they all bowed low.

�We have returned with all tasks
complete.� The Black robed one said stepping forwards, and held out his hand,
and there appearing in a tiny flash of gold, floated a shard of something not
whole, it was hollow with a few marking on it, and as he held it up, the others
all held out there hands, and similar pieces appeared.

�Well it seems you have all done well
in your tasks...Minato.� Minato moved forwards, his shard piece following.
�I went to...treasure vault of the
emperor...this was decided as the three treasures, used by the earth bound
emperor.�

�Yes...shard hidden in three....hmmm
i presume there are doubles in place...regardless the humans, never saw the
truth in what they held dear, and from guardian bound to mere ceremonial.� The
master drew up from his chair as did Amelia, and with a waved of his hand, the
table and chess set dissolved, and he looked down upon the happenings, at this
the black robed one stepped forwards.

�Tell me...why bother with these
things...you gave us power to do things that no other being can do...you
shouldn�t be the one to take charge!� Amelia gulped.

�Stupid
idiot...to concerned with power.� �With that the black robed figure held out his
hand towards the master and pulled all of his new found power, into a mass of
energy, at which the master just raised his right hand, suddenly the hood fell
down, revealing the man to be Madara Uchiha, light surrounded him, shads of
tremendous colour, layered with a fine mist.

�I gave you this existence after your
defeat...i saw this even before your coming.� He said in his calm voice, his
eyes unblinking as he regarded the person at his feet, at this Madara�s eyes widened, and bowed his head, at which he let
go, and Madara fell to the floor, at which the red robed one stepped forwards.

�Forgive him...he has only been
around for 100 years (bowing low), i have my piece.� The piece floated to his
master, at which smiled at out stretched his hand clicking his fingers,
suddenly all the seals appeared, those collected by Minato, Madara, and the
blue and red robed figure as well as Amelia and himself, and they all appeared
in front of him, and then the image of Kyu-Ni resonated with them.

�What is the meaning of
this...master? Why that female?� The red one said, and was answered by a slight
smile.

�Why...it is no concern of your
remember?� He answered with a calm voice, and with a wave of his hand returned
them to his followers, at which Minato spoke.

�Why are you...returning� them, surely you need them.� Amelia
just looked from Minato, to her master, and was about to speak when Madara
spoke up, but was interrupted by the master.

�Yes but, the remaining actors need
to...play there parts, so the play will continue.� He faded from the rest of
them, at this Amelia turned towards them, three will return to Konoha, and will
participate in the Chuunin exams...you can enter by any means necessary, but it
must be via the second exam, in the forest of death.� At this Madara�s voice picked up.

�Oh it�ll be so good to see my old
home once again...i really don�t feel sorry for killing anyone, at the moment.�
Amelia played with her hair, smiling a little.

�Minato will accompany you as well...�
Minato removed his mask, a look of shock.

�But...� The red one spoke then,
stepping forwards then.

�It will get you used to killing,
Minato...we are beyond human, remember (turning to Amelia) are there any rules
for our powers, not that i recall.� Amelia just looked at Minato and Madara.

�Yes...whom ever
you take on, you are to stay at that power level at all times, you can do
whatever you wish to the people you replace.� At this Madara just nodded, and
turned to Minato.

�Well are you coming...�friend�� The
word friend, was snide, and with a smile to boot as he faded out.

�Do not worry,� will accompany him.� The blue one
stepped forwards and faded, leaving Amelia and the Red one.

�So...how do you think they will fare
Amelia?� The Red one said with a calm voice. He looked down at the screen of
Konoha, seeing that Naruto, Kyuubi, and Kyu-Ni all past the first stage, and were waiting, to enter the Forest of Death, and awaiting there scrolls.

�Minato...i have doubt he will
interfere with His plans, but as he said; The actors
have yet to play their roles.�

just taking a loon time to do with all.
