Chapter 18 “Whole once again”
“Un, I would like you to live you know.”
“Oh come now, Dickless won’t let the bastard kill me.” Sai smiled as he continued to paint watching the naked blond in his bed pout.
“You take too many chances, un, maybe you do like the Kyuubi brat more than me.” the clay master sat up letting the sheet fall to his waist. The he pulled his knees to his chest as if he was trying to hide his hurt from his lover. The blond didn’t hear the soft clatter of brushes being set down or the quiet footfalls that came towards the bed. Deidara gasped when he felt a kiss on his naked shoulder and warm arms circle his waist.
“As I found I do have a liking for blondes; I find that Naruto has never been to my taste.” The raven rested his chin on his blonde’s pale shoulder. He loved it when Deidara let his hair down; it made him itched for his brushes and canvas. “I care for him like I did when I had a brother. Naruto has brought back feelings I have long thought gone. He gave me the chance to have feelings for you. I feel more for you then any of other people I have met. Uchiha can have Naruto. I don’t want that blond or any other blond, because I like my blond.”
“And I like my painter.” Deidara smiled and kiss those soft lips that had been ghosting over his cheek. “But I still don’t like it when you kiss him, un.”
“I know this emotion. You don’t like me kissing Naruto because you want my kisses for yourself.” Sai laughed. “This is what Kakashi called jealousy. It looks kind of cute on you.”

“Un! I’m not jealous! Besides, your kisses belong to me and only me!”
“Alright to keep my blond smiling I won’t kiss anyone else. All my kisses are for your lips only.”
“Good.”
“Can we have sex again?”
“UN! Six times wasn’t enough for you? If I come home limping, Itachi-danna is got to get suspicious.”
“Why would the weasel be interested in our sex life?”
“Itachi-danna takes care of me like a dad, un. I never had one before and its kind nice to feel cared for like that. Sasori-danna was cold and cruel. He would touch me and hurt me until I cried. I didn’t like being partners with him. Itachi-danna always stopped him before he went too far. So, Itachi-danna still thinks I’m a virgin Un.”
“I have read about this. It is the honor and pride of the clans to keep the offspring pure for marriage. Well I gave you my virginity when I took yours. So to keep the honor of your clan and so that we can have sex again, I’ll go tell the weasel we’re getting married.”

“Sasuke quit scaring the nurses. They are here to make sure that you get better.” Sakura scolded as she checked his vitals.
“They are annoying pests that won’t let me out of here.” The Uchiha glared. For the past three days he had been cooped up in the hospital recovering from the poison. The visits from his Dobe were too few and too short. Sai was doing a damn good job in walking in on their more heated moments. Thus killing the mood and leaving him so hard he could pound nails and rebuild all of Konoha twice. He was really going to kill that pasty as bastard one of these days. He had to make sure Naruto didn’t find out. His Dobe might have gotten annoyed with the painter but he was attached to him.
“Well if you manage not to get into any more fights today than I don’t see any reason why you can’t be released this afternoon.” Sakura smiled. “But you have to promise to leave the nurses alone and let them do there job.”
“Hn.” That was the closest thing to an agreement she was ever going to get out of the emotionless raven.
“Now that you are better we can proceed with Naruto’s final transformation.”
“Good.” The sooner the Dobe was back to normal the sooner that meddling bastard Sai would be out of their lives. “Hey has the Yoru nin woken up yet?”
“No she is still in a coma but her chakra is now responding to treatment. She needed a few chakra infusions from her team mates but other than that she is doing better. Shino on the other hand hasn’t left her side. I’m getting really worried because he’s not eating.”
“Hn. I think Naruto should have a talk with him. Aburame is going to be needed for the outer defenses and containment.” With nothing better to do Sasuke had been review the plans for Naruto’s last transformation.
“Yeah that’s what I thought. Naruto will be over there later today. He is with Iruka-sensei at the Academy right now. They are doing weapon introductions with the pre-genin.”
“That Dobe, you better be prepared to admit him for numerous kunai injures. Without access to his chakra or Kyuubi’s healing powers Naruto is a sitting duck.”
“I would normally agree with you but he has Iruka-sensei to protect him. Now you get some rest if you want to get out of here by lunch time.”
“Hn.” He leaned back on the pillows and glared at blankets. He knew his Dobe was safe with Iruka-sensei but he didn’t like Naruto being so vulnerable.
“Well I got rounds to make so you rest and let the nurses do their jobs.” The medic nin waved leaving the brooding Uchiha to his thoughts.

“Dattebayo! It’s only two more days until I’ll be back to normal!” Naruto cheered.
“As much as I’ll be glad that you are your old self, I confess I will miss the chibi you.” Iruka smiled sadly at the teenager.
“Why? I was a trouble maker and I know I made you worry a lot.” The teen asked giving the older Shinobi a confused look.
“What makes you think that you don’t make me worry now? No matter how old you get I will always worry about you My Chibi Kitsune.” Iruka hugged his foster son before reluctantly letting go. He walked over to his desk and pick up a picture of them taken when he passed the Chunin exams. In the picture he was wearing his brand new vest carrying the Blonde-haired chibi on his shoulders. Naruto was waving at the camera grinning and showing off the gap where he lost his first tooth.
“When you were growing up the first time around I wasn’t there as much as I would have liked. I had to work to put food on table and keep the roof over our heads from leaking. I missed out on a lot of your milestones. Then when you moved out I thought I lost you for good.” Suddenly the academy teacher was engulfed in a big bear hug.
“You didn’t lose me; you couldn’t even if you tried. I’m sorry hurt you by moving out. But I just wanted to show you that I could take care of myself.” The blond never meant to hurt his foster father by moving out. He was trying to protect him from the scorn of the villagers.
By the time he reached the age of ten the villagers were running out of ways to hurt him. Then one of the older clans that truly hated him threatened to have Iruka fired from the academy and striped of his ninja status if he caused another disaster in the village. The truth was he was more likely to be accused of, than actually cause said disaster. He went to the Third Hokage and demanded that he let him move out of Iruka’s house and declare him independent. With the threat to the young teacher so high and Naruto’s determined mindset, the Hokage had no choice but to give in.
“I knew that could you take care of yourself, but that’s not why you left. It was because some of the clans threatened me, that’s why you left was it not?”
“How, did you know that?”
“Naruto, I work in the mission’s room; there is rarely anything that goes on that I don’t know about. Plus those clans came to me and demanded I give you over or loose my Ninja status. I refused and told them I would go to the Hokage if they tried to take you away. When you moved out the clans stopped coming to me with their threats. They may have separated us but I never stopped looking after you or loving you. We may not have the same blood but in my heart you will always be my son.”
“And you always be my dad.” Naruto hid his tears in the Chunin’s vest.
“Awe, you both are so cute I will remember this always.”
“KAKASHI!”
“BAKASHI!” Naruto jumped away from Iruka and shouted at his other foster father ignoring the spinning Sharingan.
“Kakashi what are you doing in a tree outside my widow?” Iruka sighed as he rubbed the scar over his nose.
“Ruka-Chan! I always watch you from this tree when I’m not on a Mission because I miss my Dolphin when I’m gone.” Kakashi jumped through the window and swept his husband up in a hug.
“Kashi!”
“Okay this is my cue to leave!” Naruto started inching his way out the door as the Jonin began molest the blushing Chunin.
“You do that Naruto. Your escort is waiting for you. We’ll see you at dessert I don’t think we’ll make it to dinner!”
“TMI!!! Too much Information! I need Brain Bleach!!!” The whisker teen ran out of the academy scarred for life.
“That wasn’t nice Kashi-kun.”
“Who ever said I was nice?” the silver haired Shinobi smiled as he nibbled down his husband’s neck. “Besides class is over for the day and I want to work on Extra credit.”
“Kashi!”

“So only two more days, Runt?”
“I’m not a runt Dog breath! Yeah, two more days until I’m back to my awesome self. Then another week before I can start training again.” Naruto sighed as he and Kiba made their way through the village. Sasuke was going to get released today and Tsunade insisted they proceed with the transformation. She knew it was a gamble but she had been getting reports that the Naruto’s enemies were getting closer. There was still no word on the Akatsuki’s movements since the fail attack on Sasuke and the Yoru nin.
“Anyways thanks for taking Koori and Kaji while I was at the Academy. All those kids would have gone nuts over them.”
“No problem. They got a nice visit with their mom and Littermates. Their mom Kira was surprised by their size. Kuromaru other the hand was strutting with pride because the pups look more wolf like him.”
“How are things going with you and Hinata?”
“Great, we have been getting closer and since Neji has been gone I can get a kiss or two. We even move into the same house at the Uchiha compound.”
“He won’t be gone for long. Baa-chan said that he and Gaara will be back later today.”
Naruto smirked as his friends smile vanished. “You know he and Gaara will probably move in with you guys to make sure you guys wait for the wedding night.”
“You are a cruel, cruel man. You couldn’t have left in my own little dream world could you?” The ninken trainer pouted.
The whiskered teen laughed at Kiba’s mock pout and misery. They were headed back to the Hospital because Sasuke was being release today. There was some improvement in Sukora’s condition but she was still not awake. He worried for Shino as he had become really attached to the Nin from the land of Darkness.
“Dreaming is all you’ll be able to do until you walk down the isle.” Just then he saw the Kurai twins running up to them
“Naruto-sama!”
“You are needed at Hokage Tower!”
“What’s Baa-chan want now?”
“Your transformation is about to be moved up.”
“Our Aunt and Uncle are here as well.”
“Well Dog breath we better see what’s going on.”
“Sounds like this will be and urgent meeting better let Akamaru give you a ride.”
“Oh come on Kiba I can run to the tower no problem.” The blond protested only to be tossed on the huge ninken’s back.
“Without Chakra you’re a sitting duck. Plus you are slower than a new born pup.”
“Whatever ttebayo. Koori! Kaji! To the Tower!” All three dogs took off leaving a cloud of dust.
“Hey! Wait for us!”

“Thank you for seeing us on short notice Hokage-sama.”
“Think nothing of it. I must say I am a little surprised to see you both here. Your Mangetsukage did not send us any warning.” Tsunade’s golden eyes studied the two Yuro nin standing before her.
“Well we didn’t give our Uncle time to write out a proper warning.” the shade wearing man growled.
“Excuse my brother Hokage-sama. My Siblings and I a little upset with my uncle’s meddling with Sukora’s life. When he received the twins’ report on her condition my Uncle said that her new Boyfriend would take care of her and that there was no need to check her for ourselves. Needless to say we were all angry with his words of dismissile. We made sure our uncle knew that it was unwise keep us all from our baby sister. Matsuro and I were the only ones able to make here in the Short amount of time other wise all twelve of us would be here to assist with Chakra transfusions.” The Kuinoichi replied as she tried to explain and soothe her brother at the same time.
“Sukora-san’s condition is not as critical as it once was but the extra chakra with help speed her recovery. Before the attack on Naruto she had made great progress with curing him. We will be taking the final steps tonight but I am not familiar with some of these seals that Sukora-san has written down. I was in the process of looking up alternatives for Naruto’s protection.”
“Would to mind if Mikomi and I had a look? We are the Seal specialist of our clan and we taught Sukora all she knows.” Matsuro asked.
“Be my guest. If you can figure out these seals, than we can proceed with the last part of the cure.” Tsunade handed the scroll of seals to the siblings. She found it ironic that their names meant Fate and Hope. Naruto’s fate and hopes was held in their hands.
“Is Naruto-san a Jinchūriki?” Mikomi asked gently.
“How do you know that?”
“These are powerful seals Hokage-sama. They are designed to trap a Demon and contain it to a single space. It has not been use for over a century.” Matsuro explained.
“Why is that?”
“I take at least Four very Powerful Shinobi to cast it. If Sukora was going to use these seals than she would need at least two other powerful Shinobi cast them. My Brother and I can only cast one of these seals each.” Mikomi finished.
“We have two Uchihas and Hatake Kakashi will they be able to cast the necessary seals?”
“We would have to gage their Chakra to be sure.”
“Be sure of what?”
“Gaki! How Many times do I have to tell you to use the door?” Tsunade spun her chair around to face the smiling teen sitting on the windowsill.
“About as many times as you tell Ero-sennin to stay away from the Onsen.” Naruto hopped down from the window and the ninken followed. “So what’s going on?”
“Naruto this is Kurai, Matsuro and Mikomi. They are here to help Kurai Sukora with Chakra transfusions. They also offered to help with the seals for your final transformation.”
“Oh you guys related to Emerald?”
“Yes, Uzumaki-san, Sukora is our Baby sister. My Twin and I were the only ones able to make the trip on short notice.” Mikomi bowed.
“Emerald always did say she had a lot of siblings. So what’s going on with my transformation?”
“Well Gaki if you would shut up and listen then you would know what’s going on.” Tsunade snapped. Naruto blushed and kept quiet as Koori and Kaji sniffed the new arrivals. “Now with if we do this right then it will be you and one Uchiha sealed in the room for 48 hours with just water and solider pills to sustain you. The rest of rookie nine will be station around the Uchiha compound as protection during your vulnerable moments. We have received word that there are more of your enemies on their way here. For as much good as you have done there are many more bad guys who will want you dead.”
“Yeah I kinda figured that. Once when I was about 7 a guy took me to get to Kakashi. The ninja was a disgraced former Mist Jonin that Kakashi caught selling the secrets from all the Shinobi lands. After the bastard was caught I thought Kakashi was a hero for about 5minutes until he pulled out his porn.”
“How come this is the first I’m hearing about this? It’s not in any of your or Kakashi’s files that the third left.”
“Yeah well that was sealed in the ANBU records, for Kakashi’s protection.”
“Protection? From Whom?”
“Iruka-sensei.” Naruto snickered. “Kakashi and I destroyed half of Jonin apartments as well as the market place trying to subdue the guy. If Iruka-sensei knew about what happened he would have put Kakashi in the hospital and then revoke his visitation rights. And then it would have taken another ten years before they got together.”
“Yes, well, I can see why you would want to sweep it under the rug. Inuzuka you’re late!” Kiba fell through the door at the yell of his Hokage. “You are suppose to be guarding him, where were you?”
“Gomen Hokage-sama. Naruto and Akamaru took off when they heard word of the visitors.” The Ninken trainer stood and dusted off his pants.
“Don’t let it happen again. Well Kiba since you are here I need you to go and bring back Kakashi and both Uchihas. Sasuke should be release by now if not then tell Sakura that I want him released.”
“Hai, Hokage-sama. Come on, Akamaru, the rookies can keep watch over the brat.”
“Woof, Woof! (Right, Boss)”
“You might want to get Kakashi last.” Naruto blushed.
“Why?”
“Iruka-sensei is giving him extra credit.”
“Extra Credit? What? Kakashi isn’t a… Oh!” it took a second or two to sink in but the blush on his face told everyone he got the message. “Right we’ll get him last.”
Once trainer and ninken left Tsunade turned on her gaki. “Now, while we are waiting, why don’t you fill me in on what was left out of your file or seal in the ANBU ones?”
“Uh…” The whisker teen knew he opened a can of worms that was likely to bit him and others in the ass later.

“Nagato, I need to talk to you.”
“Konan, what are you doing here?”
“I needed to talk to you with out Tobi around. He is dangerous.” Konan stepped closer the man in the machine. He was no more than a living skeleton.
“What are you talking about? We would be dead with out his help. And Yahiko would still be dead if it weren’t for him.”
“Yahiko is dead! Nagato you have to see that the body is merely a puppet that you control. This is not the way to peace. Remember what it was like living with Jiraiya-sensei? He talked of the bringer of peace and that we should be his support.”
“That man is never coming. We should grab peace with our own hands. There is no Naruto. He is a fairytale sensei would tell us to keep up our hope. If we want that hope that ever lasting peace than we would take by any means necessary.”
“You’re wrong; I know that deep down you know it too.”
“Madara has taken his price and I can not get it back. What are we supposed to do but follow the path we started?”
“We can leave this one and start a new path. It’s time to lay Yahiko to rest. Please Nagato I don’t want to lose you too.”
“It is too late for me Konan. If you want to leave I will not hate you for it. When I achieve Peace all will be forgiven.”
“I will not help Madara any more, but I will not leave you Nagato. When the battle is over I make sure you have peace.” Konan said as the tears falling like the rain that once fell in Amegakure.

“Well Otouto your friends have not torn our home apart so I believe they have all settled in nicely. I put Naruto in your room since he has been with us. I believe he found your taste in literature quiet interesting.”
“You left him alone in my room?!” Sasuke shouted from the bathroom. He had just got his release paperwork done but had yet to change into some real clothes. Now his brother was telling him that the Dobe was running free in his room. That damn gay sex book was still in his room. Granted he hid it in a box the back of his closet under a pile of clothes, but he knew Naruto was bound to find it.
“He’s a grown man I highly doubt he needs a sitter when he’s sleeping.”
“I hate you.” Sasuke glare when he exited the bathroom.
“So mean to your Aniki, Otouto.” The masked ANBU sighed fringing on hurt feelings.
“Let’s get out of here. I don’t want to leave my Dobe alone with that smiling pervert any longer than necessary.”
“You don’t have to worry about Sai, his attention have been leaning towards Deidara of late.” Kisame snorted.
“Is that so? Why wasn’t I informed of this?” Itachi’s voice dropped and the room seemed to lower in temperature.
“Uh, well you were busy, and uh, you know things were happening.” The Shark-man’s voice began to shake and he started to inch back with his up in a sign of surrender.
“One of your kids is dating the dick obsessive bastard?” The young Uchiha chuckled.
“Not for long. He’ll be dead as soon as I find the bastard.”
Somewhere on the other side of Konoha….
“Un, what’s wrong, Sai?” The blonde held his smiling yet shivering lover.
“Nothing, I just had the feeling someone wants to kill me.”
“Oh no Itachi-danna! He knows!”
“Don’t worry, My Blondie, Once were married everything will be fine.” The painter forced the dread away and hugged his fiancé.
“Only if you live to see the alter.” Deidara sighed as melted into the loving embrace.
Back at the Hospital
“Sasuke, Weasel-san, your presence is required by the Hokage at the tower.” Sakura called from the doorway taking the pressure off Kisame.
“We’ll be there, thanks Sakura.”
“No problem Sasuke, I’ll see you tonight at the feast.”
“What Feast?”
“Didn’t Weasel-san tell you? There is going to be a big feast at the Uchiha compound. The transformation process will take a lot of chakra from Naruto and the one who will be seal inside with him. Not to mention what chakra everyone is going to use in the protection. So we will all need to take in as much food to sustain us and soldier pills only if necessary.”
“I see. I should have been informed of this sooner.” Sasuke glared at the emotionless ANBU.
“There was no need to; everyone else agreed that it was necessary. I am sure you can find a moment or two alone with your precious Dobe, before he is seal away for 48 hours. Now hurry Uchiha the Hokage is waiting.”
“I hate you. Sakura can you take the Fish stick home? He can’t be with out adult supervision.”
“Watch it runt!” growled the former mist-nin.
“He’s right Kisame-san Tsunade-sama has not cleared you for free movement around the village. Haruno-san will take you back to the compound while Uchiha and I attend the meeting. Is that clear?”
“Hai.” The fish-man sulked.
“Good and Haruno-san, please inform the painter if he has touched my son his days are numbered.”
“H-h-hai Weasel-san. Well here’s a copy your paper work and you’re free too go. Say bye to daddy Kisame.” Sakura stuttered before dragging the large blue man out the out and to a safe distance.
“You really have a way with people Aniki.”
“We are Uchihas we don’t coddle people we command them.”
“Then it’s a wonder our clan didn’t die out long before Madara killed them. Let’s go I’m tired of being here.”
“As you wish, little brother.”

“Shino-kun you must rest.”
“I can’t Hinata what if she is attacked again?”
“Then the ANBU will protect her.” The Hyuuga heiress was at her wits end trying to get her teammate to leave the Yuro-nin’s side.
“I never thought I would ever have to see her like this, Mikomi.”
“Nor I Matsuro, she looks so vulnerable and unguarded.”
“She is not unguarded.” Shino jumped up from his eat and had a kunai ready in hand with his kikai buzzing.
“S-S-Shino-kun please stop they are not a threat!!” Hinata placed herself between the distraught Kikai-master and the un-phased yoru-nin.
“Hinata what are you doing?”
“Stand down before I cut off your chakra lines!” Her Byakugan flared to life.
“You can’t I need to protect her.”
“Then stand down.” Shino knew she would cut off his chakra so he called the Kikai back and lowered the kunai.
“Well at least our uncle was right about one thing Mikomi; our baby sister has a fierce protector.”
“So it would seem brother, so it would seem.” The kuinoichi smiled softly. “I am Mikomi and this is my brother Matsuro. We have come to see our sister.”
“Welcome to Konoha.” Hinata blushed as she bowed. “Please excuse my friend. He is just on edge right now.”
“We can see that and he has every right to be. The Hokage has informed us of the attack on Sukora. It is reassuring to know that she is being well guarded.” Matsuro observed as he sized up Shino. They had just left the tower after meeting the Sharingan users. It was decided that Sasuke was going to be sealed in the room with Naruto, while Itachi and Kakashi helped with the four seals.
“That is true brother but I believe her protector is in need of a good meal and some sleep.’’ It would seem that Konoha was filled with powerful Shinobi. This boy was tired and weakened but his chakra levels were still incredibly high.
“He is but he refuses to leave her side.”
“I am fine.” Shino growled. He hated when people talked about him as if he wasn’t there.
“Miss,”
“Oh, my name is Hinata of the Hyuuga clan.”
“Aha, we have heard much of your clan from Uzumaki-san and our nephew. Hyuuga-san as the eldest and the rite of the Kurai clan I want you to ban this young man from this room until he is fit to take his guard post once again. Ryuu and Phoenix will take his place until after the sealing then at which time we will watch over our sister.”
“You can’t!!”
“We can. My brother is right; you are not fit to protect her so we will do it. If you love her as much as I believe you do you, will take care of yourself. I doubt she will want to be protected by someone who allows themselves’ to become weak.”
“But I need to be here…” The Kikai master replied weakly before turning back to his sleeping love. She needed him to be strong when she could not. He needed to stop jumping at shadows and get a grip on himself. “But she needs me to get better first. I will go back to the compound.”
Hinata smiled sadly and guided Shino towards the door.
“For what it is worth Shinobi-san, you are more than worthy of winning our sister’s heart.” Matsuro stated as the young Konoha-nin left somewhat broken hearted.
“You should not encourage him brother. He should not get his hopes up over our sister. As much as we love her, we know she does not know how to give love or accept the love she receives. She is too much like father to ever truly love.”
“Mikomi, I have to disagree with you. If Sukora, is like our Otoosan, than she can love another. Okaasan melted his heart and they were happy we would not be here if they weren’t. I think that boy can be the one to break down the walls our Imooto has built around her heart. Trust me I know that I am right.”
“Very well Matsuro I will say no more on the subject. For now let us pray to Kami that we do not lose our sister before she can feel that love.” Both Kurai siblings took a seat beside their sleeping sister and waited.

Naruto couldn’t believe the amount of food that was covering the four long tables. It seemed there was enough food to feed all of Konoha twice! There was even a huge bowl of Ichiraku’s miso ramen just for him.
“Watch out Naruto hot barbeque coming through.” Choji shouted as he walked by with to big trays with heaping pile of pork and beef.
“Dobe move it there is more food coming out.” Sasuke snapped as has he brought out plates for everyone.
“Sorry, Teme, but I’ve never seem so much food before.”
“That is because this is a chakra feast.” Itachi replied from behind causing the Jinchūriki to jump. “These feasts were once held on the eve of battle during the early Shinobi wars. These foods will help strengthen your chakra and increase your stamina.”
“We will need all the chakra we can mange to protect you for the next forty-eight hours.” Sasuke took his love by the hand and led him to the head of one of the tables. “This feast is also for you. To show you how much we care about you.”
“I don’t need a feast I know you guys care. I mean you raised me… again.” Naruto blushed.
“We know that you know, but we feel like we don’t show it enough.” Sakura smiled taking her seat between the blond and Lee.
“Yes not only do we partake in this Chakra feast we celebrate your Springtime of Youth!”
“Well that’s one way of putting it.” Neji sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. His exasperated expression changed to a soft smile as he stood and raise his glass. “What my teammate is trying to say is Happy Birthday Naruto.”
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY NARUTO!!!” Everyone cheered with their glasses raised high.
“Ttebeyo! Thanks you guys but my birthday is a couple of days away.” The whiskered teen blushed as all the attention.
“We know Dobe but you’ll be sealed in the room with Kyuubi when your birthday comes around. So we decided to celebrate it now because everyone is here for you and we are your family.”
Naruto was speechless. He overwhelmed by the sheer love he was receiving from everyone. He couldn’t hold back the tears. This was what he had wanted all his life. These people recognized him as a person, respected him as a Shinobi and loved him as family. The Kyuubi container had finally found a home.
“It’s ok to cry My Chibi Kitsune.” Naruto looked up to see his foster father standing over him with a warm loving smile. He jumped up and threw himself at his former sensei.
For the longest time Iruka had been the only family he had and he wouldn’t change that. This second childhood gave him a look at what would it have been like to grow up with friends and acceptance. Life was better not only for him but his foster father as well but it wouldn’t have been the same. They wouldn’t have been the same people if it was different. Even though he wouldn’t have changed his past he was grateful for this opportunity to grow up again, this time with the love his friends to support him.
“See kit you’re not alone and you’ll never be alone again.”
“Awe, My boys are so cute!” Kakashi gushed the hugged the already hugging duo.
“Kakashi!” Iruka squeaked and the scarecrow laughed.
“Alright enough of this mushy stuff let’s eat!” the masked copy-nin declared and the crowd cheered.
Yes the mushy stuff was over and everyone began to fill their plates. He friends chatted among each other and Naruto quietly observed the matches that the chibi had made. They were all adjusting to their new happiness but he worried about Shino. Sukora was still in a coma and the bug-nin was not handling it well. He hoped that with the new arrival of the Kurai siblings Emerald’s chakra problems will soon be over and she could finally recover, maybe even wake up soon; only time would tell.

“Well it’s time Brat. You and Sasuke will be sealed inside for the next 48 hours. All of rookie nine and team Gai will be taking turns maintaining the shield around this shack. I have to stay at the tower and keep the ANBU on alert in case we get any unwanted visitors.”
“Okay Baa-chan Kyuubi says there’s not much you can do here anyways.”
“Brat!” Snarled Tsunade and glared at her smirking godson.
“Come on Dobe let’s get this over with.” The young Uchiha was anxious to get his blond lover alone.
“Remember Otouto to focus on maintaining the seal and not your libido.”
“You don’t have worry about me, Aniki. Worry about your daughter instead.”
“Daughter?” Itachi followed Sasuke’s line of sight to see Sai nibbling on Deidara’s neck.
“PAINTER! GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!”
Sai jumped back but still held his lover’s hand. The Elder Uchiha was about to kill the former ROOT agent when he was held back by the Hokage. Deidara took this distraction to pull Sai away from the crowd and away from his killer Father-figure.
“You can kill him later Uchiha. Get back into position. Get in shack Naruto, Sasuke, we’re waiting for you.”
“Right, thanks.” Naruto took the last vile of potion and entered the shack followed by his raven haired lover.
“They’re in now seal them up.”
Itachi, Kakashi and the two Yoru-nins took positions around the outside of the shack. They seal each wall at the same time. The enormous amount of chakra placed into the seals made it impenetrable. Now all they could do wait and keep vigilant.
Inside the Shack*~*~*~*
“This is it Naruto; are you and Kyuubi ready for this?”
“We’re as ready as we’ll ever be. Just to be on the safe side can you make sure my Chakra connection to Koori and Kaji is disable for now? Sukora made it so that they would grow with my chakra but I’m afraid that this last change will over load them.”
“No problem Dobe.” Sasuke activated his Sharingan and looked for the connection. It was still active but it was formed in two parts. One part was Chakra flow the other part was the bond between Naruto and his ninken. The Uchiha shut the chakra flow down but kept the bond open. He had to grudgingly admit that the Yoru-kunoichi was brilliant. She set up this seal so the bond between Naruto and his ninken wouldn’t be affected by the chakra flow.
When they were still at the academy Iruka-sensei gave lecture about nin familiars and bonds. When bonding with a familiar your chakra blends together to where you can almost feel the familiar and they feel you. Severing the bond can damage the trust with your familiar and very hard to regain the harmony of your fighting partner. Kurai knew this and created a Seal that would allow chakra to feed the bond a small amount to the pups to keep the bond stable while the majority of the chakra could be shut down preventing any damage to the young ninken.
“Done.”
“Are you sure you did it right? How can I still feel them?”
“I did it right Dobe. Kurai seal was made to feed a little chakra to keep the bond stable while keeping most of your chakra away from them.”
“Emerald, you’re ways thinking two steps ahead.” Naruto smiled sadly as he took off his shirt and laid on the futon. “We’re ready Teme.”
Sasuke kneeled beside futon and fed his chakra into the seal that held Kyuubi inside his mortal prison. The seal flared to life, glowing a firey red. The flux chakra was enormous and was bursting to get out but the Uchiha held it stable.
“Drink the Potion Dobe I got the seal stabilized.”
“See you soon Teme.” Naruto down the potion in one go. It didn’t take long for the transformation to begin sending the Jinchūriki into a world of pain. His body began to stretch and his hair started to lengthen, things seemed to be going well but the there was just too much chakra. It exploded against the seal nearly throwing Sasuke off his knees.
“Naruto don’t fight the potion!”
“But it hurts!”
“I know Dobe but you have to let it happen. Try and relax.”
“I can’t it’s too much!” Naruto thrashed and began to shake. Then his eyes rolled back in his head and he lost consciousness.
Dobe? Naruto! Wake Up!”
“SHUT UP UCHIHA! THE KIT NEEDS TO FACE HIS DEMONS BY HIMSELF!”
“Kyuubi? What’s happening? Where’s Naruto?”
“Naruto is in his inner mind where I am sealed. There is someone who has waited a long time to speak with him. To complete the transformation and keep the seal connection solid he must heal the last shards of his soul. Let him be Uchiha and focus on the seal. If the seal breaks he dies and the first human I’m eating after I get out is you.”
“I understand.” The former avenger resumed his concentration on the seal. In the back of his mind he was filled with terror at his love facing this unknown threat with out him. ‘Kami Naruto come, back to me.’
Inside Naruto’s Mind
“Kyuubi, what’s happening?” he was in the sewer like prison that made up the Kyuubi’s home.
“It’s time to face the last part of your past that you haven’t come to terms with. There is something you haven’t let yourself think about. Not even your chibi self was able to bring it to light. You can’t ignore it any longer Kit; if you want to be whole again than you have to do this. If you don’t then you could die and the seal will break. I already told The Uchiha that he will be the first one I’m eating if it breaks.”
“Well I can’t let you do that. I haven’t asked him to be my boyfriend yet.” The blond teen joked nervously. He thought that he had dealt with all the chibi issues and that all that was left for him to do was simply adjust to the chakra flow. Sasuke would tell him he was a Dobe and that there is always a catch to anything in life.
“So what do I have to do?” Like everything in life he decided to face this challenge head on.
“Hello Naruto.”
“What?!” The Kyuubi container jumped and turned to face the voice. He wasn’t scared but he was very unsure of what is going on. Standing before him was a petite woman with long bright red hair. “Who are you?”
“I know Iruka-kun taught you some manners so don’t be rude. Say ‘Hello’ to you mother before you start the interrogation.”
“You’re my mother? Kyuubi are you messing with my head again?!”
“Dattebane!” suddenly Naruto was on the ground from getting hit by the angry red head. “MANNERS NARUTO! Didn’t I just tell you that to say Hello before you start questioning me?”
“OW! Ow, ow, ow! Sorry, sorry!” the teen got up holding his head. Who would have thought that your astro-body could hurt as much as your real body.
“Now shall we start again?”
“Yes. Hi mom!” The red-head was taken by surprise as she was almost tackled by her blond son. With his face buried in the crook of her neck he whispered, “I love you.”
“I love you too. I have waited along time to meet my baby boy.”
“Get on with it Kushina you don’t have much time.”
“I know you big furball. Naruto I wish I could stay a talk to you for hours but my time and chakra are limited.”
“How is it you’re here at all Mom? I thought you died before Kyuubi was sealed within me. That’s what Iruka-sensei told me; you died giving me life.”
“In a sense that was true I did died but not before I could start the seal process. When you were born I lost a lot of blood and I knew wasn’t going to make it. The last thing I could do was give my chakra to you for your protection. The Kyuubi attacking, even though your father was heart broken, he was needed to save the people of Konoha. He needed you to save Konoha.
“You see Naruto I was suppose to be Kyuubi’s vessel. I was last of the Uzumaki Clan. We were know for our massive chakra stores and control over elements. For years there had been rumors of the tailed beasts roaming near Konoha but no proof. The third Hokage sent for an acceptable vessel that could hold the tailed beast. I was just a child when I came to Konoha but there was no sign of any tailed beast. The village was safe and I stayed here and eventually fell in love with Minato. We married and were happy waiting for you to enter our world. Life seemed perfect until the man in the orange mask came. He claimed that Konoha was rightfully his and that he would destroy it and start anew. He brought Kyuubi to the village and tore our world apart.”
“So the mask guy is why was I left alone?”
“You weren’t left alone Naruto, we knew that Kakashi would watch over you. I have never met Iruka-san but watching your memories I can see Minato picked the best father to raise you.”
“I know mom, Iruka-sensei was always there for me and I love him. I just wish…”
“You wish it was your dad and me raising you. I understand, and I wish we could have been there but this was how it was meant to be. Never doubt that we love you because we love you with all or hearts. I poured all of my love along with the last of my chakra into you to create a seal that would blend your chakra with the Kyuubi’s as you grow. Your father used his chakra to bind the seal, but to make it unbreakable he had to give his life.”
“I get it if the seal was weak Kyuubi’s chakra would have killed me and Kyuubi would have escaped.”
“You’re so smart, I knew you would be. You get that from me.” Kushina smiled as she brushed the golden locks from his eyes.
“If you’re so smart then how come Dad was Hokage?” Naruto’s smirk was wiped off his face with fist to his head.
“Dattabane! Don’t disrespect your mother!”
“Dattebayo! I was just joking!” The whiskered teen smiled through the tears.
“I know.” The red-head smirked. “You shouldn’t try and trick a fellow trickster.”
“You were a trickster? I don’t believe it.”
“Believe it. No one in Konoha liked me when they brought me here. I acted out and I had a short temper with the world around me. Only your dad actually tried to get to know the real me. He was kind of like your Sasuke. Your Uchiha got to know the real you and captured your heart.”
“Sasuke didn’t really know me before I was poisoned and he doesn’t really know me now.” Naruto’s mood went from being happy to depress in a blink of an eye. He sat on the cold wet floor that housed the Kyuubi.”
“Kit, can you be any more depressing? You make this demon actually have feelings of depression.”
“Kyuubi knock it off my son is having trouble with his love life.”
“He is just doubting himself. Kit doesn’t believe he has the right to be happy.”
“Shut up Kyubbi, You don’t know how I feel.”
“Watch your tone, Naruto. I have been is the weak human flesh for eighteen years. I know you better than you know yourself.” The demon fox growled.
“Okay, boys that’s enough.” Kushina sighed. “Now Sweetie, I believe that Kyuubi has a point, and for that the blame falls on your father and I. We died too soon to show you our love and support and for that we are sorry. Despite all that has happened in your life it has made you who you are. You Naruto Uzumaki, are a strong, honest, caring and mischievous, young man in all of Fire Country. You have made your Dad and me very proud and you Deserve every bit of happiness you can get out of your Sasuke.”
“Thanks mom, I guess I need to hear it from my folks to kinda believe it.” The teen said softly before he found himself drinking the Sewer water.
“Dattabane! You better believe it! That Uchiha better thank his lucky stars that you love him and you want to have his Man-babies!”
“Man-babies?! Mom really, that’s not even possible! And why am I uke?”
“Oh, Sweetie, with enough chakra anything is possible. As for being Uke, well you take more after me in your frame than your dad. Your slender, but your hips are a little wide.”
“Not to mention all those fantasies he has of withering under the Uchiha’s larger frame.” Kyuubi snickered watching his kit blush.
“Ero-Kyuubi.” Naruto mutter under his breath as he got up. “Okay so I might be an uke but that’s not gonna happen anytime soon. So what happens now, Mom? How do I heal what I don’t know is broken?”
“First step is accepting the past. Then you accept yourself and let yourself be happy. You need to accept the people who love you. There a lot of people who love Naruto; just have let go of the walls that hold them out.”
“What if I can’t mom? I don’t know if I can trust them. Ruka-daddy and Kashi have been my only family for so long. What if I get hurt? I don’t think my heart can take the pain.”
“Oh my little Chibi.” Kushina enveloped her son in a warm loving hug. “I know you’re scared. I was too when I first came to Konoha; but you can’t let fear stop you. Just like your Shinobi way you face your fear head on. There is always a chance someone might hurt you but you are a lot strong than you thing, Naruto.”
“Thanks mom. I do accept the past as being in the past and I can not change it. My inner chibi help me let go of my walls. I am starting to let myself be happy and Sasuke has torn down a wall or two.” The blond blushed.
“Then your well on your way to being completely whole. I wish I could stay here always but my time is coming to an end.”
“No! Mom there is some much I still don’t know, about you, Dad or even the Mask man.”
“I know sweetie but I my chakra is almost done. But I will leave you one final gift, my son and is my memories of my life.” As Kushina faded into the chakra light she kissed the golden crown of her child. “Now you hold the history of clan and the life that your father and I had. Everything that happen on the night of your birth and Kyuubi’s sealing now lies with you. We loved you, Naruto and we always will. Be happy my chibi.”
“I love you Mom!” Soon the light was gone and he was alone with Kyuubi.
“How you feeling Kit?”
“I thought that I would be more upset and sad, you know? But I feel happy and calm.”
“Then you better hold on to that feeling kit because you are going through the last phase of your potion.”
“What?” Suddenly a burning Pain shot through the young Shinobi as the Last of the Kyuubi’s chakra enveloped him.
“AAAHHHHHH!!!”

It had been thirty-six hours since Naruto had taken the last potion. Thirty-six hours since his beloved was locked inside his own mind. There was nothing he could do to help his Dobe. With Naruto’s chakra locked inside his body with the Kyuubi’s chakra the seal was holding steady allowing Sasuke some free movement. Shizune had shown him how set up and IV to keep fluids to Naruto. The change was putting a strain on the blonde’s body all he could do was keep hydrated and the seal in check. If there is one thing Uchihas hated most it was the feeling of uselessness.
“AAAHHHHHH!!!”
“Naruto!” Sasuke rushed to his side only to be thrown back by the Massive Red Chakra engulfing Naruto’s body.
The room shook as powerful Chakra tried to fight it’s containment. The Uchiha couldn’t move due to the pressure of the chakra keeping him pinned to the wall. All he could do was watch as Naruto’s body changed some more and filled out. He watched as the blonde hair got even longer as well as his nails. He watched as his beloved grew taller the then he was before he was turned into a chibi. The seal was flaring bright red but holding.
“Naruto? Can you hear me?”
“Hurts.”
“I know baby Just hold on. It’s almost over just hang on.” Sasuke tried to push against the Kyuubi’s chakra, but it was futile. Naruto whimpered in pain and tears were leaking from the corner of his eyes.
“Sasuke...”
“I’m here Baby.”
“I want it to stop.”
“Hold on Dobe I’m coming.” The raven flared his Chakra cutting through the red chakra.
He crawled to across the floor and gripped Naruto’s hand. “I’m here Naruto. I’m going to stabilize the seal maybe that will help.”
“Hurts”
Sasuke placed his free hand on the seal while never letting go of the hand he held. He fed his chakra into the seal added the need power to keep it from breaking and frying his beloved from the inside out. Naruto continued to whimper in pain but his expression told the Uchiha that the pain wasn’t as intense as it had been.
Slowly the red Chakra started to recede back into Naruto’s body. Sweat was pouring from the raven’s brow as he held the seal steady. Just when he felt like he was going to collapse all the Chakra was gone leaving both boys exhausted and drenched in sweat. Naruto’s face was free of pain and he was sleeping peacefully. As much as the Uchiha wanted to join his beloved there was still much he had to do. He gently washed down the tanned skin and blushed as he changed Naruto pants for some clean short.
‘Damn Dobe goes commando.’
Then he gently lifted the blonde and transferred him to his clean futon. Then he changed the dirty linens and pushed the futons together. Sasuke place clean blankets over both futons making sure Naruto was warm and comfortable before bathing himself. Once he was dressed in clean shorts he slipped between the covers and pulled his Dobe close whispered to him.
“I’m glad you’re back Dobe.”
“Me too Teme.”

A/N: Okay I am Alive! No, I have not given up on MCD or any of my other stories! I have just had the most trying two years. First my Family and I have retired from the military and we were bounced around from one place to another living with Family until we could settle. Well, the moved this past summer dropped us in the middle of Arizona and a long way from where we planned to be. So now we are here in Phoenix settled for at least the next one-two years. I hope now that we are in a place of our own My muses will return and I can finish my stories. MCD is coming to an end now that the Dobe is all grown up. I think one maybe two chapters left and the on to BC. After that I have to caught up on my Harry potter Fics which are years behind. But I promise I will finish all my stories. Thank you for sticking by me and reading my work and all the wonderful reviews that have kept me going. I’ll be back sooner than you think. :)
