The Beginning

WARNING:: Slight lemon and dark themes in this chapter.

It was one day, a Thursday, as Koroshi was coming home from a mission, that Itachi stopped her at the gate to the village, and took her off into the forest.
"Itachi-sama, what is wrong? You seem.......very....sullen. Are you alright?"
"Koroshi........I don't have much longer left in this village."
Koroshi gasped, and whirled around to face him. "What?"
"....The clan....they....they are planning something, Koroshi. They are planning a coup, and I have been....let us say a double agent. The Uchiha clan had planted me into ANBU as a spy, however it has been the other way around. I have been feeding information about the Uchiha to the counsel. I have seen war, Koroshi, and you have seen part of it too. I just.....I am not willing to let this happen. If the Uchiha do this, it will start a civil war in the village, and then outside nations will take advantage of that. It will be full of bloodshed, and I.....I want the peace and prosperity of my village."
"Even at the expense of your family......what about Sasuke-kun?"
"I have made arrangements for him to be left unharmed. He knows nothing of the coup, because he is so young. I will make him hate me, and decide to take revenge on me. I want for him to be strong, so that he can protect himself."
"And your parents?"
".......My father is the mastermind behind this coup, Koroshi." He sighed. "Unfortunately, I have....I have to....kill them both. I have to kill them all. The only survivor will be Sasuke."
"Then......what about--"
"You will be left unharmed. You are not a born Uchiha, and you didn't know anything about the coup either. You were excluded. So, I will not allow you to be killed for that. The only reason that I am giving you this information is because I want you to know that, no matter what happens, I will always love you, and we will always belong to one another. I love you, Koroshi Uchiha. You are the woman I intended to spend the rest of my life with--"
"Let me come with you!"
"No!" Itachi said. "No.....Koroshi, you have to stay in the village. You have to live, become a great ninja. I know that we will meet again one day. Then, you can make the decision. I love this village. It is more important to me than the clan. I will not let you throw this village away. I am doing this partially for you, and partially for Sasuke. This is the beginning. We will meet again after this. Now, come, Koroshi. Let me ask you something: Will you wait for me?"
There was no hesitation. "Yes, Itachi-sama."
"Good."
"When...?"
"....Tomorrow night."
They kissed, and Itachi comforted Koroshi as she cried in his arms, and then he cleared it with Kakashi, whom she was staying with at the time, and then he led her back to the Uchiha estate. No one else knew she was there, because it was a Thursday, and that wasn't a night she was supposed to stay at the Uchiha estate. Things were quiet that night, and after everyone was asleep, Itachi slipped in Koroshi's window and they slept together that night. They explored each other for what would be their last time for a while. She didn't know how long it would be until she saw him again, but she would make the most of this night. They slept together. (AN:: Not sex, just sleeping.)
The next day arrived, and Koroshi went to carry out a mission. She knew that in just a few short hours, Itachi would be carrying out the hardest mission of his life: Killing the entire Uchiha clan. His family and friends. Her heart went out to him, and as he prepared for his mission, he suddenly felt somewhat warm in his heart. He knew Koroshi was thinking of him, and he smiled for the first and last time that day. Now, it was time. It was the beginning.
He sat upon a tower as he watched Sasuke run home, and then he got there before Sasuke, and killed their parents.
After his confrontation with Sasuke, his tears falling before his little brother, he thought about how it must have been for Koroshi, being the same age as Sasuke was, when her parents were murdered in front of her. He had done some digging, and had found out that Konoha ninja had killed them. He couldn't bring himself to tell Koroshi, because she didn't remember what headbands they were wearing.
He ran down an alley way in the Uchiha part of the village, and he heard breathing. He got ready to kill another clans-man, but he turned and saw Koroshi, wearing a black dress, her white hair glowing in the light of the full moon. Her eyes were bright as she shed tears, and reached out for him.
"Please.....Itachi..!"
Her voice set the trigger, and tears ran down his face as he pulled her in his arms, kissing her, their tears mingling together. "Koroshi....."
"That's right, baby, cry it out with me. I know you are hurting. I know you are in pain. Your eyes say it all. Cry it all out, my darling."
They slid to their knees, and she held him as he rested his forehead against her shoulder, crying silently.
Her tears fell as well, and she told him "You can be loud, Itachi-sama. You can truly cry with me. Let it out. Don't hold it in."
He cried out against her, his sobs coming fast and hard, his tears pouring.
After about ten minutes, the sirens began, and they jumped.
"Now, Itachi-sama. Kiss me."
He kissed her with all of the passion that he could muster, all of the passion within his being, and then she helped him stand.
"Itachi-sama, they are coming. Go. Go! Leave, while you can! Escape. I will go as well; I will go with you to the gate. Let's go!"
They went top speed to the gate of the village, where he took her in his arms again, kissed her deeply, and said "Thank you Koroshi. Thank you, for loving me. For being mine. For letting me be yours."
"Thank you, Itachi. Now, go! We will meet again!"
He ran off, and when he had at last disappeared from her view, she sobbed and cried as she ran back to the Uchiha part of the village, and she ran and got herself in her room in the Uchiha estate, faking sleep, and then the ANBU got there, and bust into the Uchiha household, searching all the rooms. They shook her awake, and she played the fool as she began sobbing and crying, the real reason unknown to them as they thought she was just devastated, and they took her to stay with Kakashi.
Meanwhile, Itachi had went back to see the Hokage, and pleaded with him and the other council members to allow Sasuke and Koroshi, unaware and innocent of the coup, to live. They agreed.
This was the end of the beginning.
